Abstract

Sunlight is one of the important factors in the process of plant growth, especially because of its role in photosynthesis. This study aims to visually observe the physical changes of kale (Ipomoea aquatica) plants grown under two different lighting conditions, namely full light and minimal light. The research was conducted qualitatively descriptive with direct observation method on two groups of plants in small pots for 30 days. Aspects observed included leaf color and shape, stem growth direction, and plant freshness. Group A (full light) showed wider and darker green leaf growth, upright stems, and a fresher plant appearance. In contrast, group B (minimum light) showed pale leaves, stems that leaned towards the light source, and a more lethargic plant condition. These results indicate that light intensity affects the visual appearance and direction of plant growth. Light-deprived plants remained viable, but showed signs of stress such as lethargy and phototropism. This study confirms that sufficient light is essential in kale cultivation, not only for optimal yield, but also in terms of plant health and aesthetics. It is recommended that the plants be placed in a place that receives adequate light, and further research can consider other environmental factors such as humidity and temperature.

Abstract

Penelitian ini latarbelakangi dengan masih rendahnya hasil belajar peserta didik. Hasil belajar peserta didik ialah pengalaman pesta didik yang dihasilkan dalam proses pembelajaran. Permasalahan yang sering terjadi terkhususnya di sekolah dasar ialah rendahnya hasil belajar peserta didik. Model pembelajaran yang diterapkan oleh pendidik dapat dapat menjadi salah satu faktor yang dapat mempengaruhi rendahnya hasil belajar peserta didik. Model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning (PBL) merupakan model pembelajarankooperatif yang mengharapkan siswa untuk aktif dan membangkitkan semangat sehingga dapat saling mendukung dan membantu dalam menguasai materi pembelajaran yang telah dipelajari. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran IPA yang menggunakan model pembelajaran PBL pada siswa sekolah dasar. Tujuan penelitiannya menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif dengan memanfaatkan studi kepustakaan dimana mencari data melalui internet atau elektronikatau media cetak seperti Google scholar, buku, jurnal, artikel, dll. Analisis yang digunakan dalam penelitianini adalah pemeriksaan informasi atau data, yang meliputi pertukaran pemikiran secara mendaam tentang data yang telah ditulis dalam media. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa implementasi pembelajaran berbasis masalah dapat lebih mengembangkan pengalaman dan hasil belajar siswa dalam pelajaran sains di kelas sekolah dasar

Abstract

Penelitian ini di latar belakangi dengan adanya model pembelajaran TGT materi sistem pencernaan pada manusia IPA Kelas V MI Nurul Ulum dianalisis berdasarkan fakta yang ada di lapangan. Dalam penelitian ini bertujuan guna mengetahui penganalisisan model pembelajaran TGT materi sistem pencernaan pada manusia melalui sumber yang ada. Jenis penelitian Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian studi kepustakaan. Pendekatan kualitatif merupakan suatu pendekatan yang bermaksud dalam menafsirkan kejadian dimana suatu kejadian tersebut instrumen kunci ialah peneliti dengan pengumpulan suatu data pada latar yang ilmiah. Studi kepustakaan atau library research memanfaatkan sumber perpustakaan guna memperoleh suatu data penelitian. Dalam studi kepustakaan ini lebih tegasnya bahwa kegiatan yang di hasilkan di peroleh dari koleksi perpustakaan tidak diperlukan penelitian secara langsung. Subjek dalam penelitian ini merupakan peserta didik kelas V MI. Nurul Ulum dengan 30 peserta didik yakni 15 peserta didik perempuan serta 15 peserta didik laki-laki. Tempat penelitian atau setiing penelitian dilaksanakan di sekolah Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Nurul Ulum Sidomukti. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan kumpulan dari refrensi yang bersumber dari buku, jurnal ataupun yang lainnya. Kesimpulan penelitian ini ialah dengan pembaca bisa mendeskripsikan serta menganalisis model pembelajaran TGT materi sistem pencernaan pada manusia IPA kelas V MI Nurul Ulum.

Abstract

Learning through game-based methods is a crucial aspect of the learning process because it can create a dynamic learning environment, fostering an enjoyable, serious, and relaxed atmosphere. This research aims to implement the animal name-guessing game method as a teaching strategy in the IPAS subject for 3rd grade students at MI Nurul Islam. This game method is designed to enhance student engagement, reinforce understanding of animal concepts, and create a pleasant learning environment. The research adopts a qualitative approach to understand the phenomena related to the research subject in a natural context. Data sources encompass various types of information obtained by the researcher from the research subjects, who may act as respondents or informants. Data collection techniques include observation and interviews with teachers as the primary method to gather relevant information. Data analysis follows the model described by Miles and Huberman. The findings of this research indicate that the animal name guessing game method can be an effective alternative in improving IPAS learning in 3rd-grade classes at MI Nurul Islam. The implications of this research can serve as a guide for teachers and stakeholders in developing innovative and engaging teaching strategies to enrich students' learning experiences at the elementary education level.

Abstract

The success of the teaching and learning process is determined by the teaching model, namely the way the teacher conveys the material to be taught. In its truest sense, method means "way". Overall utilization, a model is characterized as an approach to completing an activity or an approach to managing work by utilizing reality and ideas systematically. This research analyzes the problem-based learning (PBL) model in thematic learning. This research was conducted at SDN Mangli 02 Jember. The research method used in this article is descriptive qualitative research. The data collection techniques used by researchers are interviews, observation, and literature study. The data analysis techniques used are based on Miles and Huberman's theory including data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. Using the Problem Based Learning method can help to further improve student learning outcomes in Thematic learning. And students easily remember learning material. By implementing the PBL learning model, not all students can understand the material well, for lower classes this model is not suitable because at their age they are still unable to solve a problem given by the teacher.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of using the flipbook E-module on student learning outcomes in science subjects at the elementary school level. This research uses a qualitative approach, which describes and analyzes the effect of using the flipbook E-module on student learning outcomes in science subjects at the elementary school level. The data collection technique used in this research is library research where literature study is literature research, which is the practice of collecting research-related materials from books, scientific journals, literature, and other publications that are worthy of being used as sources for research that will be researched by the author, by describing and analyzing the data. A research variable is everything that the researcher chooses to study in order to study it further, collect data about it, and then draw conclusions. In this study, it used Independent Variables and Dependent Variables. Harapan uses a qualitative approach to provide information about the facts of the effect of using the E-module flipbook on student learning outcomes in science subjects at the elementary school level. The purpose of writing this article is to increase readers' knowledge about the importance of using the flipbook E-module to student learning outcomes in science subjects at the elementary school level.

Abstract

This study aims to develop Siderman media (human circulatory system) in class V elementary school science learning. Because there are still many students whose grades are below the KKM or there are still many students who do not understand science lessons, especially the material for the human circulatory system, several problems are found such as a lack of student motivation in learning, student emotions are less controlled so the learning process is not conducive. In addition to these problems, the method used by the teacher when teaching is the lecture method and students study with textbooks only so that students feel bored and bored and as a result students are more engrossed in their own world, for example playing alone or even chatting with their classmates resulting in low student learning outcomes. under KKM, especially material for the circulatory system for class V science subjects. Therefore the researchers developed the SIDERMAN media (Human Circulatory System) with the subject matter of the human circulatory system in natural sciences. This learning media aims to increase students' knowledge about the human circulatory system material in science class V so that this media is packaged attractively and is easy to use. Siderman media in science subjects is structured in an interesting way so that it is very suitable to be applied to science subjects, especially the human circulatory system for class V SD.

Abstract

 This study aims to describe the implementation of the Problem-Based Learning (PBL) model in fostering critical thinking skills among third-grade elementary school students on the topic of metamorphosis. This research employs a qualitative descriptive approach with a descriptive study design. The research subjects consisted of 29 male students from Grade III of SD Aulia Cendikia Islamic School. Data were collected through direct observation, documentation, interviews, and student reflections. Data analysis utilized Miles and Huberman’s interactive analysis model, which includes three stages: data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. In the data display stage, the findings were presented in the form of descriptive narratives, tables, and direct quotations from students or teachers. Meanwhile, the conclusion drawing stage was conducted by examining the relationship between the implementation of the PBL model and the emergence of students’ critical thinking responses during the learning process. The results of the study indicate that the implementation of the PBL model positively influenced the development of students’ critical thinking skills. This can be seen from the students’ ability to identify, analyze, and find solutions to the given problems. The model also successfully enhanced students’ understanding of the learning material. Therefore, PBL proved to be an effective approach in shaping active, independent, and critical-thinking students.

Abstract

Interactive learning media play an essential role in facilitating effective communication between teachers and students. This study aims to improve students’ science learning outcomes on the topic of invertebrate animals through the use of lapbook learning media in Grade IV at MI Al Barokah An-Nur. The method employed was Classroom Action Research (CAR) using the Kemmis and McTaggart model, which consists of planning, acting, observing, and reflecting stages conducted over two cycles. The research subjects were 20 fourth-grade students. Data were collected through learning outcome tests, observations of student activities, and documentation in the form of photos and field notes. Data were analyzed quantitatively by calculating the average scores and mastery learning percentages, and qualitatively through data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The results showed a significant improvement across cycles. The average score increased from 63 in the pre-cycle to 75 in Cycle I and 83 in Cycle II. The mastery learning percentage also increased from 70% in Cycle I to 85% in Cycle II. Moreover, all student groups demonstrated active collaboration and engagement during the lapbook creation and presentation activities. Based on these findings, it can be concluded that the use of lapbook media is effective in enhancing science learning outcomes, student participation, and learning experiences.

Abstract

Penelitian ini menggunakan cara Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) yang terbagi menjadi dua bagian. Setiap bagian terdiri dari perencanaan, pelaksanaan, pengamatan, dan refleksi. Target yang diteliti adalah 20 siswa kelas IV di MI Al-Barokah Tanggul, dengan terdiri dari 10 siswa laki-laki dan 10 siswa perempuan. Data dikumpulkan melalui cara pengamatan, wawancara, dokumentasi, dan penilaian hasil belajar siswa. Pengolahan data dilakukan dengan pendekatan kualitatif yakni dengan mengurangi, menyajikan, dan menarik kesimpulan serta kuantitatif deskriptif dengan cara menghitung rata-rata nilai siswa. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa menggunakan lingkungan sekitar untuk belajar IPA dapat membantu meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa. Ini terlihat dari peningkatan rata-rata nilai siswa dari tahap pertama ke tahap kedua, ditambah dengan meningkatnya aktifitas, semangat, dan sikap positif terhadap pembelajaran IPA. Siswa menjadi lebih sering bertanya, memperhatikan, dan berdiskusi, sedangkan guru merasakan suasana belajar menjadi lebih menyenangkan dan relevan. Maka, penggunaan lingkungan sekitar terbukti efektif untuk meningkatkan pemahaman konsep dan keterampilan ilmiah siswa kelas IV di MI Al-Barokah Tanggul.
