Abstract

This study aims to analyze the planning, implementation, and evaluation of the implementation of the Guided Inquiry learning strategy in thematic learning with the theme of Natural Sciences (IPA) at MI Miftahul Ulum III Sumbersari Gumukmas, Jember. The method used is a qualitative approach with the type of field research. Data collection was carried out through observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis refers to the interactive model of Miles, Huberman, and Saldana which consists of three stages: data condensation, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. Data validity is obtained through triangulation of techniques, sources, and time. The results of the study indicate that the implementation of the Guided Inquiry learning model in the classroom consists of several stages, namely: (a) Initial Activities, (b) Core Activities, (c) Final Activities, and (d) Learning Evaluation. The implementation of this strategy has proven effective in increasing students' interest in learning, especially in materials about invertebrates, changes in the state of objects, and conductors. The conclusion of this study is that the implementation of the Guided Inquiry strategy has a positive impact on students' interest in learning science in madrasah Ibtidaiyah.

Abstract

Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK). Metode ini terdiri dari beberapa tahap, yaitu perencanaan, observasi, tindakan, dan refleksi. Subjek penelitian ini adalah 25 siswa kelas V di SDN Jatiroto 03 Kecamatan Sumberbaru Kabupaten Jember. Data dikumpulkan menggunakan berbagai teknik, termasuk dokumentasi, observasi, dan tes. Penelitian ini menggambarkan bahwa pembelajaran yang berpusat pada guru memiliki dampak negatif terhadap keterlibatan dan pemahaman siswa terhadap materi pelajaran. Untuk mengatasi masalah ini, penelitian menggunakan Model Discovery Learning sebagai alternatif. Model ini memungkinkan siswa untuk aktif menggali dan menemukan pengetahuan melalui tindakan penemuan sendiri. Hasil analisis tes menunjukkan bahwa tingkat ketuntasan klasikal meningkat signifikan, dari 48% pada siklus pertama menjadi 95%. Ini mengindikasikan bahwa penggunaan model pembelajaran penemuan telah meningkatkan pemahaman siswa terhadap materi pelajaran. Dengan demikian, penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa Model Discovery Learning dapat menjadi solusi yang efektif untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa dan meningkatkan keterlibatan mereka dalam proses pembelajaran, mengatasi masalah yang muncul akibat pendekatan berpusat pada guru

Abstract

Tujuannya untuk meminimalisir masalah gizi dengan memperbaiki gizi  siswa. Menurut survei awal, murid MI MIFTAHUL ULUM belum pernah diberikan pelatihan mengenai keseimbangan gizi dan sejumlah murid masih belum memahami konsep keseimbangan gizi. Oleh karena itu, tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan murid mengenai keseimbangan gizi sebagai panduan untuk hidup sehat. Metodenya adalah peer training (metode pedagogik), yang diawali dengan pre-test untuk mendapatkan informasi tentang diet seimbang. Penelitian ini dilakukan di Sekolah MI Miftahul Ulum Jatiroto Kecamatan Sumberbaru Kabupaten Jember. Berdasarkan  hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa pengetahuan meningkat dengan rata-rata poin pengetahuan sebesar 55,6 pada siswa pertama dan rata-rata poin pengetahuan sebesar 88,7 pada pengukuran kedua yang merupakan peningkatan pada post-test.

Abstract

Mata pelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam dan Sosial (IPAS) meupakan suatu kumpulan dari pengetahuan alam dan sosial yang ada pada Kurikulum Merdeka. Yang termasuk pada materi IPAS yaitu tentang peristiwa alam dan sosial yang konkret. Sebagian besar dari materi IPAS ada yang bersifat abstrak dan hal tersebut membuat siswa kesulitan pada saat mempelajarinya. Dampak negatif dari hal itu membuat siswa hanya mendengarkan dan motivasi belajar kurang. Pada situasi ini sangat penting penggunaan media pembelajaran dalam pross pembelajaran IPAS agar siswa bisa memahami materi dan juga menumbuhkan motivasi belajar siswa. Penelitian ini meneliti tentang implementasi media pembelajaran pohon cabe pintar dalam pembelajaran IPAS materi fotosintesis kelas IV MI Al-Hidayah Kecamatan Kaliwates Kabupaten Jember. Penelitian ini termasuk dalam kategori penelitian kualitatif dan Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi partisipatif, wawancara komprehensif, dan analisis dokumen. Validitas dijaga melalui triangulasi data dan etika penelitian dipertahankan. Dengan hasil evaluasi yang positif, dapat disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan media pembelajaran Pohon Cabe Pintar telah memberikan dampak positif yang signifikan pada proses pembelajaran dan hasil belajar siswa di MI Al Hidayah Kecamatan Kaliwates Kabupaten Jember

Abstract

This research was conducted to find out about the effect of the use of visual aids on the understanding of pulley material in science subjects in SDN Pecoro 3 . This research method uses an experimental design model, namely a one-shot case study. The number of samples tested was 24 students, and the value of learning outcomes was used as the variable being tested. Then it was found that learning using visual aids had a different learning outcome value than using the lecture method, and tended to increase. The results were obtained after testing the hypothesis on the results of student learning scores, which were obtained through tests after conducting learning experiments using visual aids. The choice of pulley material itself is because many students still do not understand how the pulley system works when applied in everyday life. Then to find out the role of the use of visual aids, is it able to foster students' interest in learning. As well as to find out how big the class differences are after learning using teaching aids.

Abstract

This researcch was conducted to find out about the impact of using visual aids on understanding the material of the circulatory system. The cardiovascular system is a material in science learning that includes organs that are used during the transportation process, blood circulation processes, abnormalities in blood circulation and circulatory diseases that should be understood. But of course there are obstacles in the learning process both the lack of understanding of students in capturing learning material, that way the teacher can use learning media such as teaching aids, the use of teaching aids that image the necessary work operations needed to visualize in memory, so the direction of this research is to test the success of the circulatory system visual media in the teaching and learning process. As well as helping teachers to make it easier when doing learning and easily understood by students.

Abstract

The article aims to develop a Jumanji board game media in class V Madrasah Ibtidaiyah At-Taqwa Bondowoso. Learning media has a somewhat important role in learning because it can make it easier for teachers to convey learning objectives to their students. From this, of course, it is necessary to develop learning media tailored to the needs of schools and the characteristics of students. The research results found that the enthusiasm and motivation to learn were still lacking, and the understanding of the material needed improvement. With the Jumanji board game, the media can overcome the obstacles that have been mentioned. Researchers use the R&D method using the ADDIE model, namely analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The result of this study is that researchers developed a learning media called the Jumanji Board. This media is a learning medium that can invite students to play while learning. The Jumanji board game media has colourful cards, game lines, pawns, dice, and sand time. This, of course, can attract students' motivation because, based on the study results, it was found that the enthusiasm and motivation to learn were still lacking, and the understanding of the material still needed to be improved. With the Jumanji board game, the media can overcome the obstacles that have been mentioned. The acquisition of media validation from expert validators obtained an average value of 90%. The results of this validation indicate that the Jumanji board game media has met the valid category or is very suitable for use.

Abstract

This 3D teaching aid is a three-dimensional replica of a solar eclipse, where students can see, touch, and even directly practice how the positions of the Earth, Sun, and Moon are during a solar eclipse.   The method used in this research is R&D with the 4D model. The purpose of this research is to develop a 3D solar eclipse teaching aid for IPAS learning in the 6th grade at MI Miftahul Huda Semboro and to increase students' interest in learning. This research uses data sources from classes and students. The data collection techniques used are Observation, Interviews, Documentation, and Questionnaires. The variables used for measurement include Media and Material. The results of this study show that the validation by material experts received a score of 47 out of a maximum score of 75, with a percentage of 85.45%, which falls into the valid category. Then, the results obtained from the media expert validators were 80 out of a maximum score of 85, with a percentage of 88.89%. For the students' responses, the results obtained were a score of 80, categorized as valid. The 3D solar eclipse teaching aid will make students active during lessons. Students who were initially always sleepy in class can become enthusiastic about learning. Students' attention, which was initially scattered, can finally be focused with this teaching aid, leading to improved grades during the teaching and learning process.

Abstract

Research on the development of application products as learning media for elementary school students as learning media to increase the spirit of learning. This study aims to test the effectiveness of validity and evaluate applications as learning media. This research uses a development method with the ADDIE model, and the results of the observations show that some students experience problems when learning about the human skeleton. This study developed an application that contains material, questions, and scores at the design stage using Kilonotes and Smart Apps Creator. The results of the application media validity test obtained a score of 95% from media experts, assessing aspects of application display design, fonts, images, and practicality. The assessment given by the material expert was 90% based on the aspects of the material, questions, and practicality of learning. Assessment from students regarding application media as learning support is very helpful because the practical application is easy to use when learning outside and at school. Statistical tests show significant results; the value obtained is, on average, high. The results of data analysis of student responses to the media using the N-Gain Test formula show a positive start with a score of 96% of 30 students. It can be concluded that the use of the application as a learning media on grade 5 human skeleton material shows that this application is valid and feasible for use by students.

Abstract

The low learning achievement of students, particularly in science learning, is the background of this study. This study uses the STEAM (science, technology, engineering, art, and mathematics) model to enhance students' learning achievement in science. The research method employed is called Classroom Action Research (CAR), and it is carried out in cycle II with two sessions per cycle utilizing the Kemmis and McTaggart approach. The planning, carrying out, observing, and reflecting phases make up this research. Students in class VA SD Negeri 2 Loloan Barat are the study's participants. comprising 19 students in all, 13 boys, and 6 girls. An evaluation sheet with exam questions, student activity observation sheets, and teacher activity observation sheets are employed as the data gathering tools. Each cycle shows the effects of the increase. The student activities in the first cycle received an average score of 54.43% with fewer requirements, while cycle II received an average of 81.04% with extremely strong requirements. Students in the first cycle of science learning received an average grade of 66.99, a completeness rating of 53.94, and fewer criteria. The second cycle's students' learning achievement averaged 80.34 with a very good criteria completeness percentage of 82.35%.The STEAM learning paradigm (science, technology, engineering, art, and mathematics) can enhance students' learning achievement in science for class VA at SD Negeri 2 Loloan Barat, according to the findings of the analysis of the research data..
