Abstract

The article aims to develop a Jumanji board game media in class V Madrasah Ibtidaiyah At-Taqwa Bondowoso. Learning media has a somewhat important role in learning because it can make it easier for teachers to convey learning objectives to their students. From this, of course, it is necessary to develop learning media tailored to the needs of schools and the characteristics of students. The research results found that the enthusiasm and motivation to learn were still lacking, and the understanding of the material needed improvement. With the Jumanji board game, the media can overcome the obstacles that have been mentioned. Researchers use the R&D method using the ADDIE model, namely analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The result of this study is that researchers developed a learning media called the Jumanji Board. This media is a learning medium that can invite students to play while learning. The Jumanji board game media has colourful cards, game lines, pawns, dice, and sand time. This, of course, can attract students' motivation because, based on the study results, it was found that the enthusiasm and motivation to learn were still lacking, and the understanding of the material still needed to be improved. With the Jumanji board game, the media can overcome the obstacles that have been mentioned. The acquisition of media validation from expert validators obtained an average value of 90%. The results of this validation indicate that the Jumanji board game media has met the valid category or is very suitable for use.

Abstract

This 3D teaching aid is a three-dimensional replica of a solar eclipse, where students can see, touch, and even directly practice how the positions of the Earth, Sun, and Moon are during a solar eclipse.   The method used in this research is R&D with the 4D model. The purpose of this research is to develop a 3D solar eclipse teaching aid for IPAS learning in the 6th grade at MI Miftahul Huda Semboro and to increase students' interest in learning. This research uses data sources from classes and students. The data collection techniques used are Observation, Interviews, Documentation, and Questionnaires. The variables used for measurement include Media and Material. The results of this study show that the validation by material experts received a score of 47 out of a maximum score of 75, with a percentage of 85.45%, which falls into the valid category. Then, the results obtained from the media expert validators were 80 out of a maximum score of 85, with a percentage of 88.89%. For the students' responses, the results obtained were a score of 80, categorized as valid. The 3D solar eclipse teaching aid will make students active during lessons. Students who were initially always sleepy in class can become enthusiastic about learning. Students' attention, which was initially scattered, can finally be focused with this teaching aid, leading to improved grades during the teaching and learning process.

Abstract

Pembelajaran IPA hendaknya dapat dilaksanakan secara interaktif, menyenangkan, memotivasi siswa untuk lebih aktif berpartisipasi dalam proses pembelajaran. Hal ini selaras dengan konsep pembelajaran berbasis inkuiri, yakni pendekatan pembelajaran yang menempatkan siswa sebagai pemain utama dalam proses pembelajaran. Namun, penerapan pembelajaran berbasis inkuiri khususnya pada pembelajaran IPA masih terbatas.  Oleh karena itu, peneliti tertarik untuk melakukan tinjauan literatur tentang pendekatan pembelajaran IPA berbasis inkuiri di SD. Tujuan penulisan tinjauan literatur ini adalah untuk (1) mendeskripsikan pendekatan pembelajaran berbasis inkuiri, (2) menjelaskan hasil penerapan pendekatan pembelajaran berbasis inkuiri, dan (3) menganalisis peluang peluang penerapan pendekatan pembelajaran berbasis inkuiri dalam pembelajaran IPA di SD. Tinjauan literatur ini diperoleh dari artikel penelitian ilmiah dari rentang tahun 2014-2022 yang dapat diakses fulltext dalam format pdf dengan menggunakan google scholar dan mendapatkan 15 artikel dengan kata kunci pembelajaran IPA berbasis inkuiri di SD. Berdasakan hasil analisis tinjauan literature dapat disimpulkan (1) metode inkuiri memungkinkan siswa untuk mengembangkan keterampilan berpikir kritis dan keterampilan berkomunikasi yang esensial dalam memahami konsep-konsep IPA,  (2) pembelajaran berbasis inkuiri mendorong siswa untuk mengembangkan keterampilan berpikir kreatif , dan (3) pendekatan pembelajaran IPA berbasis inkuiri juga dapat meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa, serta terlibat aktif dalam proses  pembelajaran.

Abstract

Research on the development of application products as learning media for elementary school students as learning media to increase the spirit of learning. This study aims to test the effectiveness of validity and evaluate applications as learning media. This research uses a development method with the ADDIE model, and the results of the observations show that some students experience problems when learning about the human skeleton. This study developed an application that contains material, questions, and scores at the design stage using Kilonotes and Smart Apps Creator. The results of the application media validity test obtained a score of 95% from media experts, assessing aspects of application display design, fonts, images, and practicality. The assessment given by the material expert was 90% based on the aspects of the material, questions, and practicality of learning. Assessment from students regarding application media as learning support is very helpful because the practical application is easy to use when learning outside and at school. Statistical tests show significant results; the value obtained is, on average, high. The results of data analysis of student responses to the media using the N-Gain Test formula show a positive start with a score of 96% of 30 students. It can be concluded that the use of the application as a learning media on grade 5 human skeleton material shows that this application is valid and feasible for use by students.

Abstract

The low learning achievement of students, particularly in science learning, is the background of this study. This study uses the STEAM (science, technology, engineering, art, and mathematics) model to enhance students' learning achievement in science. The research method employed is called Classroom Action Research (CAR), and it is carried out in cycle II with two sessions per cycle utilizing the Kemmis and McTaggart approach. The planning, carrying out, observing, and reflecting phases make up this research. Students in class VA SD Negeri 2 Loloan Barat are the study's participants. comprising 19 students in all, 13 boys, and 6 girls. An evaluation sheet with exam questions, student activity observation sheets, and teacher activity observation sheets are employed as the data gathering tools. Each cycle shows the effects of the increase. The student activities in the first cycle received an average score of 54.43% with fewer requirements, while cycle II received an average of 81.04% with extremely strong requirements. Students in the first cycle of science learning received an average grade of 66.99, a completeness rating of 53.94, and fewer criteria. The second cycle's students' learning achievement averaged 80.34 with a very good criteria completeness percentage of 82.35%.The STEAM learning paradigm (science, technology, engineering, art, and mathematics) can enhance students' learning achievement in science for class VA at SD Negeri 2 Loloan Barat, according to the findings of the analysis of the research data..

Abstract

The 2013 curriculum was one of the answers to previous curriculum changes. The change can be seen in learning activities that use a scientific approach with a combination of thematic learning. Mix in several subject matter into one theme. One way to improve the quality of learning, student-centered learning. Therefore, teachers are the spearhead in stimulating students to play an active role. This can be done by creating an effective learning activity process. One of the learning models that can stimulate students to play an active role in critical thinking is the Problem Based Learning (PBL) learning model in designing learning implementation plans. The type of method used in this writing is to use qualitative research. The observations made refer to the type of field research "field research" at SDN Jomerto 2.The goal is to find out how the students of SDN Jomerto 2 increase in learning activities in the classroom. The results of the study show that the implementation of thematic learning itself includes a description of the thematic learning implementation planning, a description of the implementation of thematic learning implementation, and a closing description of the implementation of thematic learning.

Abstract

Di era digital, guru dituntut menguasai teknologi informasi sehingga dapat menciptakan pembelajaran yang inovatif dan mampu menyelesaikan masalah siswa melalui pemahaman konsep, bukan hanya terbatas pada hafalan. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan permasalahan guru Matematika di MAN se-Kabupaten Jember dalam pembelajaran, mendeskripsikan pelaksanaan pendampingan pemanfaatan GeoGebra, dan mendeskripsikan respon guru Matematika sebelum dan sesudah pendampingan pemanfaatan GeoGebra. Metode yang digunakan yakni Participatory Action Research dengan lima tahapan yaitu to know, to understand, to plan, to act, dan to change. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa masalah utama guru Matematika di MAN se-Kabupaten Jember adalah kemampuan Teknologi Informasi yang belum maksimal sehingga dibutuhkan pendampingan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan tersebut melalui pendampingan pemanfaatan GeoGebra. Pelaksanaan pendampingan terdiri dari dua tahapan. Setiap tahapan terdiri dari penyampaian materi dan praktik. Respon guru Matematika setelah pendampingan menunjukkan peningkatan pemahaman materi dan cara mengoperasikan serta mengimplementasikan GeoGebra dalam pembelajaran Matematika. Dibandingkan dengan respon sebelum pendampingan, para guru Matematika belum banyak yang mengetahui terkait pemanfaatan teknologi informasi dalam pembelajaran Matematika. Abstract

Alat peraga dalam pembelajaran IPA berfungsi sebagai media bantu untuk menjelaskan konsep IPA menggunakan objek nyata. Penggunaan alat peraga dapat membantu proses belajar mengajar IPA menjadi lebih efisien dan menarik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui penerapan alat peraga pada sistem peredaran darah dalam pembelajaran IPA bagi siswa kelas 5 di MI Al-Barokah Ajung Jember. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kualitatif, dengan pengumpulan data melalui dokumentasi, obsevasi, dan wawancara. Hasil dari penelitian yang dilakukan menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan alat peraga sistem peredaran darah dalam proses belajar mengajar di MI Al-Barokah Ajung Jember efektif dalam meningkatkan pemahaman siswa, karena mereka mampu memahami konsep abstrak dalam materi sistem peredaran darah dengan lebih baik. Peneliti merekomendasikan agar penelitian selanjutnya mengembangkan alat peraga yang lebih interaktif dan efektif.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji efektivitas program sarapan pagi yang diterapkan di MIU Riyadlul Qori’in Jember dalam meningkatkan pemahaman belajar siswa. Pendekatan yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif dengan subjek penelitian sebanyak 45 siswa kelas III, IV, dan V. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi, serta dianalisis menggunakan teknik reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan dengan validasi triangulasi sumber. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa program sarapan pagi di sekolah berkontribusi positif terhadap peningkatan konsentrasi, keaktifan, dan pemahaman materi pelajaran siswa. Selain itu, keterlibatan orang tua dan edukasi gizi turut mendukung keberhasilan program ini. Dengan demikian, program sarapan pagi terbukti efektif dalam menunjang proses belajar dan prestasi akademik siswa di tingkat sekolah dasar.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengungkap dan mengidentifikasi adanya bentuk-bentuk penyimpangan sosial di masyarakat dan novel Kerumunan Terakhir karya Okky Madasari. Penelitian ini menggunakan teori sosiologi sastra untuk membahas terkait patologi sosial atau penyimpangan sosial. Pada metode penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif pendekatan deskripsi melalui analisis teks pada novel. Data yang menjadi objek penelitian ini adalah kutipan pada dialog sebagai bentuk identifikasi terkait jenis patologi kehidupan sosial dalam Novel Kerumunan Terakhir karya Okky Madasari ditinjau melalui sosiologi sastra. Penelitian ini dilakukan sebagai gambaran kehidupan sosial yang dialami oleh masyarakat terutama di era globalisasi saat ini hal ini disebut sebagai patologi sosial. Berdasarkan hasil analisis, ditemukan bahwa bentuk-bentuk patologi sosial dalam novel Kerumunan Terakhir berupa kejahatan digital, pelacuran, seksualitas, broken home, dan perselingkuhan akibat dari pengaruh perkembangan teknologi.
