Abstract

In the world of education, it is currently commonly known as learning media that can be used as teaching aids for teachers to make it easier for students to understand the material being taught. Learning media can clarify the presentation of messages and information from teachers to students so that they can facilitate and improve learning processes and outcomes. Learning media can also overcome the limitations of the senses, space and time. One form of media is Kahoot. Kahoot is a game-based learning platform that uses educational technology in schools and other educational institutions. Kahoot is in the form of a multiple choice quiz game application or a survey of opinions and opinions of students or members of public institutions conducted online via a browser. learning through Kahoot is very easy to implement. Kahoot can be played through different browsers to browsers installed on student gadgets. The Kahoot application is very interesting, because the teacher can create quizzes by inserting pictures or videos in the problem so that it can attract students' attention. Kahoot is because the question is equipped with an image or video. Even using short expressions, accompanied by music that is appropriate for their age. Not only that, kahoot can be a form of online interactive media.

Abstract

This study aims to find out whether students' understanding of mathematical concepts after applying the discovery learning model is better than before applying the discovery learning model. This type of research is Pre Experimental Design research with its design form: One-Group Pre-test & Post-test. The study population is Class XI students of SMA PGRI 2 Padang for the 2023/2024 academic year consisting of 2 classes. The sampling technique is carried out (Purposive Sampling). The instruments used in this study were pre-test and post-test in the form of essays. The test statistics used for hypothesis testing are the Paired Sample T-Test. The results of the hypothesis test were obtained = 13.711 and = 2.060. Because is greater than , the is rejected with a real rate of 0.05 and means that the hypothesis is accepted. So it can be concluded that students' understanding of mathematical concepts by applying the discovery learning model is better than before applying the discovery learning model

Abstract

This research is based on the lack of technology and communication in the mathematics learning process and the teaching materials used at SMP Negeri 8 Natal, namely package books, but the package books still cannot guide students in the learning process. The purpose of this study is to produce inquiry-based E-LKPD on social arithmetic material. This type of research is development research using R&D (Research & Development). The development model used is the Plomp development model. The instruments used in the preliminary research stage are student characteristics questionnaires, interview guidelines and observation questionnaires while the instruments in the prototyping phase stage are self-evaluation questionnaires, validity questionnaires and interview guidelines for the use of inquiry-based E-LKPD. Based on the validator's assessment, the validity of the E-LKPD by Mathematicians and Technologists was obtained at 90.3% with the category of very valid. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that inquiry-based E-LKPD on social arithmetic material is declared valid for use by teachers and students.

Abstract

Peserta didik yang belum pernah menggunakan LKPD yang dilengkapi dengan gambar, video, dan warna menjadi salah satu latar belakang penelitian ini, karena mereka mengalami kesulitan dalam memahami materi yang disampaikan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan LKPD berbasis Problem Based Learning (PBL) pada materi eksponen di kelas X Fase E SMAN 1 Lembah Melintang, Kabupaten Pasaman Barat. Peserta didik kelas X Fase E SMAN 1 Lembah Melintang berfungsi sebagai subjek penelitian. Model pengembangan Plomp, yang mencakup fase 1 dan 2, yaitu fase studi pendahuluan dan fase prototipe, serta pengujian validitas, digunakan dalam penelitian ini. Hasil validitas LKPD dikategorikan sangat valid dengan nilai akhir 85,2% berdasarkan penilaian validator. Temuan penelitian ini mendukung pendapat bahwa E-LKPD berbasis PBL untuk materi eksponen merupakan metode yang sangat reliabel.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to produce a valid Sigil Software-assisted e-Module on the subject of Quadratic Equations and Functions at XI Hospitality 1 SMK Negeri 6 Padang. The method used is Research and Development (R&D) based on the Plomp model. The stages used in the plomp model are only stages 1 to stage 2, namely the initial investigation and prototyping phase concurrently testing the validity. The instruments used were validation questionnaires and interview guidelines. Based on the validator's assessment, the results of the validity of the sigil software-assisted e-Module were 90.34% in a very valid category. Based on the results of the study it was concluded that the sigil software-assisted e-Module on the material Equations and Quadratic Functions in class XI Hospitality 1 SMK Negeri 6 Padang was declared valid to be used and tested by teachers and students.

Abstract

Rendahnya kualitas pembelajaran matematika disebabkan oleh kurangnya keterlibatan siswa dan kurangnya pemanfaatan teknologi dalam pembelajaran. Pemanfaatan teknologi dalam pembelajaran matematika dan partisipasi aktif siswa dalam proyek merupakan upaya untuk meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran dengan harapan dapat meningkatkan kualitas proses dan hasil belajar siswa. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah membuat LKS elektronik menggunakan Project Berbasis Flipped Classroom (PjFC) yang valid dan praktis untuk siswa kelas X pada pembelajaran matematika. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian dan pengembangan, berdasarkan model pengembangan yang dikemukakan oleh Plomp. Tahapan pengembangan model meliputi penelitian pendahuluan, tahap pembuatan prototipe untuk menilai validitas dan kepraktisan. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan adalah evaluasi diri, angket validasi ahli dan one-to-one, kemudian pedoman wawancara untuk membantu memastikan keabsahan LKS elektronik, dan angket kelompok kecil serta pedoman wawancara untuk membantu mengkonfirmasi kepraktisan LKS elektronik kuesioner uji lapangan dan panduan wawancara. Berdasarkan penelitian dan analisis data dapat disimpulkan bahwa LKS elektronik yang menggunakan aplikasi liveworksheets dalam kategori sangat valid di kelas. Sedangkan persentase sebesar 95,89% tercapai pada kategori sangat praktis untuk kepraktisan penggunaan LKS elektronik oleh guru. Kategori sangat praktis memperoleh persentase nilai one-to-one sebesar 95,89%. Pada kategori sangat praktis, persentase nilai small group yang diperoleh sebesar 88,89%. Berdasarkan persentase di atas maka LKS elektronik menggunakan aplikasi liveworksheets pada pembelajaran matematika kelas X valid dan praktis. One of the reasons for the low quality of mathematics learning is the lack of students’ involvement and the lack of use of technology in learning. The use of technology in mathematics learning and the active participation of students in projects is an attempt to improve the quality of learning in hopes of improving the quality of student processes and learning outcomes. The purpose of this study is to create electronics worksheet using Project-Based Flipped Classroom (PjFC) using valid and practical for grade X on mathematics learning. This type of research is research and development, based on the development model proposed by Plomp. Development model phases include the preliminary research, prototyping phase for judging validity and practicality. The research instrument used were self-evaluation, questionnaires of expert review and one-to-one, then interview guides to help confirm the validity of the electronic worksheet, and small group questionnaires and interview guides to help confirm the practicality of the electronic worksheet, field test questionnaire and interview guides.  Based on the research and data analysis, it is possible to conclude that electronic worksheets employs the live worksheet application in a very valid category in class. Meanwhile, a percentage of 95.89% was reached in the extremely practical category for the practicability of using electronic worksheets by teachers. The very practical category received a percentage of 95.89% for the students' one-to-one test scores. In the extremely practical category, the percentage attained for the small group test results was 88.89%. Based on the percentages above, electronic worksheets using the liveworksheets application on class X mathematics learning is legitimate and usable.

Abstract

Abstract. This research was motivated by students' low understanding of mathematical concepts in solving a problem. This research analyzes students' ability to understand mathematical concepts in interest and annuity material. The purpose of this research is to determine students' ability to understand mathematical concepts in interest and annuity material. This type of research is descriptive research with a qualitative approach. The subjects of this research were students of class XI AKL 3 SMK Negeri 2 Padang. The research instruments used were concept understanding tests, interviews and documentation. Keyword: Ability to understand concepts, interest and annuities. Abstrak. Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya pemahaman konsep matematis siswa dalam menyelesaikan suatu masalah. Penelitian ini menganalisis kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematis siswa pada materi bunga dan anuitas. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematis siswa pada materi bunga dan anuitas. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas XI AKL 3 SMK Negeri 2 Padang. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan adalah tes pemahaman konsep, wawancara dan dokumentasi . Kata Kunci: Kemampuan Pemahaman Konsep, Bunga dan Anuitas
