<![CDATA[The cause of lakness of communication ability in mathematic learning at SMPN 2 Tanjung Emas is due to the teacher centered of teaching method applied in the school One of the best ways to solve this problem is by applying Generative Learning Strategy. The purpose of this research is to know whether communication ability of students taught with generative of learning strategy better than those taugh with common learning strategy. The research was conduc ted at VII class of SMPN 2 Tanjung Emas 2009/2010 academic year. This research used quasi experiment method with posttest Control Group Desigh. Experimental group used generative learning strategy and a control group used conventional method. Data were collected through achievement tests. The analysis showed that students communication ability of students taught with generative of learning strategy better than those taught with common learning strategy.]]>

<![CDATA[The research was due to the lack of studentâs ability in comprehension mathematic concept. Morever, the students seemed to have ineffective discussion within the group during the learning process that their mathematicsâ result were low. The research aimed at finding out whether studentsâ mathematic comprehension which were taught using Student Team Achievement Division with Numbered Heads Together better than that of conventional learning. The design of the research was experimental research. The population was student of grade VIII SMPN 3 Palembayan. Based on the result of random sampling technique, grade VIII3 was chosen as the experimental group, while the grade VIII4 as the control group. The instrument used was an essay test. Based on the data analysis, it was obtained that both class were distributed homogeny and normal. Based on the analysis of hypotesis, it was obtained that the p-value = 0.003 was < Â Â = 0,05. Thus, the hypotesis was accepted. Therefore, it can be concluded that studentsâ math consept comprehension using Cooperative Learning Model Student Team Achievement Division with Numbered Heads Together was better than that of conventional technique with the 95% degree of certainty]]>

<![CDATA[In this era, there were so many students did not understand about mathematical well, it can prove by many students who gets low score. The purpose of this research to know the improvement of the lesson activity of students in VIII SMPN 14 Padang. And also to know the students understanding about mathematical concept by applying active types College Ball teaching strategy better than using conventional teaching stategy for students understanding. The type of this research was the VIII class of SMPN 14 Padang years 2013/2014. The sample of this research is taken by random. The experiment class was VIII2 and the control class was VIII3. The instrument of this research was the observation sheets in students learning activity and also the test for mathemarical understanding concept. The type of test was essay test. The techniques of data analysis was using test for one group by MINITAP software. The result of this research indicated that the students activity consist of oral and writing activities in mathematical learning by using active type College Ball teaching strategy has improvement. The hypothesis test by using MINITAB software in test, is got P-value smaller than α was accepted. So we can conclude that the students understanding in mathematical concept in the VIII class of SMPN 14 Padang which is use active type College Ball teaching strategy was better than the mathematical concept in the control class with conventional teaching strategy.]]>

<![CDATA[Background of this research is a lack of student interest in learning because learning is less fun and studentâs grade VIII SMPN 1 Kubung Kabupaten Solok cemprehension of mathematical concepts still low. The purpose of this research is to know what is studentâs comprehension of mathematical concept at grade VIII SMPN 1 Kubung Kabupaten Solok by using quiz team strategy better than convensional learning. The kind of this research is experimental research, with the research plan is random on subject. The population of this research is students at grade VIII SMPN 1 Kubung Kabupaten Solok academic year 2013/2014. Tecnique of analysis data is t-test one side by using minitab. Based on the analysis of the data found that the two classes are normally distributed and homogeneous samples at α is 0,05 and the results obtained from testing the hypothesis P-value equal to 0,001 means that α is smaller than 0,05. Hipothesis is accepted in this research, so that it can be concluded that studentâs comprehension of mathematical concept is treated by using quiz team strategy better than studentâs comprehension of masthematical concepts is treated by using convensional learning at grade SMPN 1 Kubung Kabupaten Solok]]>

<![CDATA[This research is motivated by the students comprehension of mathematics concepts are still low. Learning process tends to take place in one direction. Less resource book. Students do not what to think of doing exercises and would rather wait for an answer from a friend who has more capacity. Based on observations in class VIII SMPN1 Padang Sago Pariaman found in the working practice so that studentsare not accustomedto discuss individual students are more likely to be individual in the study. This study aims to determine whether students comprehension of mathematics concepts by applying active learning strategies Peer Lesson type better than student comprehension of mathematics concepts by applying conventional learning in class VIII SMPN1 Padang Sago Pariaman 2012/2013. This type of researchis is experimental research design randomized trials on the subject. The population in this study were all students of class VIII to class VIII.3 sample as the experimental class and the control class as a class VIII.1. Instrument in this study is a test of comprehension of mathematics concepts in the form of essays with a reliability test is r_11 = 0.784. The data analysis technique used is the t-test with Minitab . Based on the test results obtained by the hypothesis P - value = 0.007 is smaller than the specified significance level of 0.05 . <![CDATA[The background of this research told about studentâs concept comprehension that lower so the result of studentâs mathematics learning much of them canât achieve the minimum passing grade yet and students cannot find creative ideas in learning process . The purpose of this research to determine what is mathematics concept comprehension students by applying the method of discussion (Fish Bowl) better than studentâs learning conventional at VIII grade SMPN 3 Solok Selatan 2013/2014. The population was students VIII grade SMPN 3 Solok Selatan 2013/2014 consist of two classes. The sample of this research is VIIIb as experiment class and VIII b as class control. Instrument using test comprehension concept studentâs mathematics have essay test with reliability test 0.83. Hypothesis test using MINITAB t-test. The result of the data analysis P-value 0,033 less from α that 0, 05 so the hypothesis was accepted, in concluded that studentâs mathematics concept with applying discussion method (Fish Bowl) better than learning conventional at VIII grade at SMPN 3 Solok Selatan 2013/2014   ]]>

<![CDATA[The backgrounds of this research are the studentsâ unwillingness to share the information and the styudentsâ low concept understanding on the mathematical learning of the grade-XI natural-science class of SMAN 1 2x11 Enam Lingkung in the years 2012/2013. The type of research is experimental by using Randomized Control Group Only Design. The data analysis technique used is TTest . Techniques of data analysis were performed using one-way t test. The purpose of this research is to know the comprehension of mathematical concept for active learning strategyâs students type Questions Students Have (QSH) with Handout were better than implementation of conventional learningâs students for grade VIII SMP Negeri 2 Sungai Aur Province of West Pasaman. The type of this research is experimental research by using random planning focused on subject. The populations are students in grade VIII SMP Negeri 2 Sungai Aur Province of West Pasaman, which consist of two classes. Moreover, sample of this research is taken by random, VIII.1 is for experimental class and VIII.2is for control class. The instrument of this research is the comprehension of mathematical concept test. The techniques of data analysis is using t test for one group by software MINITAB is got P-value smaller than , so this hyphothesis is accepted. <![CDATA[Background of this research is the low of student`s comprehension of mathematical concepts and student`s responsible to their exercises that given by the teacher. The purpose of this research is to know what is student`s comprehension of mathematical concepts at grade VIII MTsN Durian Tarung Padang that use cooperative learning model type Teams-Games-Tournament (TGT) better than convensional model. Kind of this research is experimental research, with research plan is Randomized Control Group Only Design. Population of this research is student`s at grade VIII MTsN Durian Tarung Padang academic year 2012/2013. Sample is grade VIII1 as experiment class and VIII2 as control class. The instrumentation of this research is comprehension test of mathematical concept. The form of test is essay with reliabilitastes is r11= 0,77. Technique of data analysis is used in this research is t-test one side by using software minitab. Based on the result of t-test is P-value = 0,001, it means lower than  = 0,05, therefore hipotesis is accepted furthermove. We can conclude that student`s comprehension of mathematical concept is treated by using cooperative learning model type Teams-Games-Tournament (TGT) better than student`s comprehension of mathematical concept is treated by using convensional learning at grade VIII MTsN Durian Tarung Padang academic year 2012/2013.]]>
