Abstract

Abstract: This research is classroom action research that aims to improve learning process and to increase mathematics achievement with applied the learning model of Problem Based Learning. The subject of this research is student of class VIIE SMP Negeri 40 Pekanbaru in academic years 2018/2019, which amounted to 39 students, consist of 22 boys and 17 girls Aritmetika Sosial form material. The research consist of two cycles, each cycle has four stages, which are planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The instrument of data collection in this research consist of observation sheet and assessment sheet. Data collection techniques in this study consisted of observation techniques and test results of mathematics learning techniques. Data obtained from the observation sheet is qualitative data and analyzed by descriptive quantitative analysis technique. Data obtained from the learning result test were analyzed by descriptive statistical analysis technique. The result of data analysis show teacher’s and student’s activity have been done very well in cycle II and weakness/deficiency that happened less from cycle I to cycle II. Most of students were very confidenced and actived in learning process, such as while they were finished mathemathic’s problems that given, presenting the result of problems and giving the conclusion of learning.The results of this research showed the number of students that reach Minimum Mastery Criteria (KKM) for knowledge increase from the basic score (28,21%) to (35,89%) at the first test and to (74,36%) at the second test. For the skills, the score increase from (28,21%) at the first test, to (69,23%) at the second test. The results of this research showed that application of Problem Based Learning can improve the learning process and increase mathematics outcomes for students VIIE SMP Negeri 40 Pekanbaru in 2018/2019 academic year at Aritmetika Sosial form material.Key Words: Mathematics Learning Outcomes, Problem Based Learning, Class Action Research

Abstract

Abstrak Penelitian percobaan ini menggunakan Penerapan Pembelajaran Kooperatif. Object dari penelitian ini adalah mengidentifikasi efektifitas dari Pembelajaran Kooperatif dalam belajar Matamatika. Samle yang digunakan dalam penelitian adalah siswa kelas X SMA Negeri 8 Pekanbaru. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Pembelajaran kooperatif dengan tipe Team Assisted Individualization lebih efektif dalam belajar matematika daripada metode lama. Pembelajaran kooperatif dengan tipe Team Assisted Individualization mengindikasikan bahwa siswa lebih aktif dalam belajar untuk menyelesaikan masalah akan meningkatkan kemampuan matematika mereka secara efektif. Kata Kunci : kooperatif, TAI   Abstract This trial recearch using the Application of Cooperative Learning. Object of this study is to identify the effectiveness of Cooperative Learning in learning math. Samle used in this study was a class X student of SMAN 8 Pekanbaru. The results showed that cooperative learning with Team Assisted Individualization type of learning mathematics more effectively than the old method. Cooperative learning with Team Assisted Individualization type indicates that students are more active in learning to solve problems will improve their math skills effectively. Abstract

Abstrak Pendidikan karakter melalui sekolah, tidak semata-mata pemberian pengetahuan, tetapi  penanaman moral, nilai-nilai etika, estetika, budi pekerti yang luhur. Salah satu budaya yang berkembang di masyarakat dan sangat dekat dengan peserta didik adalah permainan (rakyat).  Biasanya permainan rakyat menggunakan alat-alat yang masih sederhana yang mudah diperoleh dan ada di sekitar masyarakat setempat. Hal ini sangat sesuai dengan pendidikan matematika realistik Indonesia yang menggagaskan bahwa pembelajaran matematika harus merupakan ‘realitas’ yang dekat dengan peserta didik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melakukan analisis pemikiran matematika dan kandungan nilai karakter pada permainan congkak yang dapat digunakan dalam pembelajaran matematika. Penelitian inidimulai dengan mengamati permainan congkak secara teliti yang dimainkan oleh peserta didik sekolah SD 018 Teluk Kenidai Kabupaten Kampar. Hasil pengamatan dijadikan dasar untuk melakukan analisis pemikiran matematika dan kandungan nilai karakter dalam permainan congkak. Hasil analisis menunjukan permainan congkak dapat digunakan untuk pengembangan karakter dalam pembelajaran matematika realistik untuk topik aritmatika di kelas 2,3 dan 4 sekolah dasar. Kata Kunci: permainan congkak, pendidikan karakter bangsa, pembelajaran matematika realistic Abstract Character education through school, not merely the provision of knowledge, but the cultivation of moral, ethical values​​, aesthetic, noble manners. One culture that developed in the community and very close to the students is the game (the people). Usually folk games using the tools that are simple, easy to obtain and there around the local community. This is in accordance with Indonesia realistic mathematics education which put forward the learning of mathematics that should be a 'reality' which is close to the learner. This study aims to analyze the mathematical thinking and gynecology conceited character values ​​in a game that can be used in teaching mathematics. Research inidimulai by observing carefully cavalier game played by 018 elementary school students Kenidai Bay Kampar regency. Observations used as the basis for mathematical thinking, and content analysis of the value of the character in the game cocky. The results of the analysis showed cavalier game can be used for the development of realistic characters in learning mathematics to arithmetic topics in class 2,3 and 4 elementary schools. Abstract

Abstrak Penelitian ini ditujukan untuk meningkatkan hasil matematika siswa melalui penerapan metode belajar aktif tipe Group to Group Exchange (GGE) untuk siswa kelas X IPS 1 MAN 2 Model Pekanbaru, pada semester genap tahun pembelajaran 2008 / 2009 tentang subyek utama "Barisan dan deret Bilangan". Subjek penelitian ini adalah untuk siswa kelas X IPS 1 MAN 2 Model Pekanbaru dengan jumlah 33 siswa terdiri dari 11 siswa laki-laki dan 22 siswa perempuan. Siswa di kelas yang dikelompokkan secara heterogen berdasarkan tingkat akademik dan gender. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah satu set alat pembelajaran seperti silabus, rencana pelajaran, buku kerja, dan handout. Teknik pengumpulan data digunakan teknik uji melalui hasil uji matematika dan teknik observasi digunakan lembar observasi guru dan kegiatan siswa. Analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis statistik deskriptif, itu menggambarkan kegiatan guru dan siswa, hasil belajar analisis dan keberhasilan tindakan. Dari analisa data diketahui bahwa penerapan metode belajar aktif tipe Group Group Exchange (GGE) dapat meningkatkan hasil matematika siswa dan bertemu Minimum Prestasi Kriteria (KKM) pada review pertama 60,6% dan pada kedua review ditingkatkan menjadi 75,8%. Kata kunci : Kegiatan guru dan siswa, hasil matematika, metode pembelajaran aktif tipe Group to Group Exchange (GGE)   Abstract The research was intended to increase the result of student’s mathematics through the application of active learning method type Group to Group Exchange (GGE) for the students in class X IPS 1 MAN 2 Model Pekanbaru, on even semester in the learning year of 2008/2009 on the main subject “Barisan dan Deret Bilangan”. The research subject is for the students in class X IPS1 MAN 2 Model Pekanbaru with the number of 33 student’s consisting of 11 boy-student’s and 22 girl-student’s. The student’s in that class are heterogeneous considering to academic and gender. The instrument used in this research was a set of learning tools such as silabus, lesson plan, work-book, and handouts. The data collection technique applied test technique through mathematics result test and observation technique used sheet observation of teacher and student’s activities. The data analysis used is statistic analysis descriptive, it described teacher and student’s activities, the result of learning analysis and the success of action. From the data analysis it was found that the application of active learning method type Group to Group Exchange (GGE) can increase the result of student’s mathematics and met Minimum Achievement Criteria (KKM) on the first review was 60,6% and on the second review improved to be 75,8%. Abstract

Abstract:This research is conducted based on mathematics learning outcomes of class VIII.2 students of Junior High School 8 Pekanbaru which is still under KKM (Minimum Criteria of mastery learning) that has been settled by the school that is 78. The aims of this research is to improve the learning process and improve students' mathematics learning outcomes in class VIII.2 of SMP Negeri Pekanbaru odd semester of the academic year 2016/2017 At KD (based competence) 1.3 Understanding relations and functions and on KD 1.4 Determining the value of the function. This approach of this research is classroom action research (PTK) with 2 cycles. The subjects of the study were students of class VIII.2 SMP Negeri 8 Pekanbaru consisting of 19 male students and 23 female students with heterogeneous ability. This research was conducted on September 13, 2016 until 11 October 2016. Based on the data analysis of teacher and student activity after applying the Questions Student Have strategy in copoperative learning type STAD teacher and student activities are done well and experienced improvement at each meeting. Based on the data analysis of student learning outcomes, there is an increase in student learning outcomes in each cycle. Based on the analysis of KKM achievement, the number of students who reached KKM at UH (daily test) 1 amounted to 17 peoples with percentage 40,47% and UH 2 amounted to 25 peoples with percentage of 59,52%. From this study can be concluded that the implementations Questions Student Have strategy in cooperative learning type STAD can improve the learning process and also to remind students of mathematics learning outcomes of class VIII.2 of SMP Negeri 8 Pekanbaru odd semester of academic year 2016/2017 at KD 1.3 Understanding relation and function and KD 1.4. Abstract

Abstract: The learning process is seen as one of the main factors that influence learning outcomes so that this research aims to improve learning process and students’ mathematics learning achievement by applying Discovery Learning model. This research is a classroom action research with two cycles. The research instruments used are mathematical learning instruments (Syllabus, Lesson Plans, and Activity Sheets) and data collecting instruments (Observation Sheets and Students Mathematic Tests). Data collection techniques in this research used are observation techniques and test techniques. The observation sheets were analyzed in qualitative desciptive, while the students Mathematic tests were analyzed in quantitative descriptive. Subject of this research are students of XI MIA 1 MAN 3 Kota Pekanbaru in second semester of academic year 2018/2019, which consist of 30 students. Based on the analysis of students and teacher activities after implementation of the Discovery Learning model, it can be concluded that there is an improvement of learning process. On knowledge competence, the number of students who can reach KKM in Cycle I is 26,67% and 63,33% in Cycle II. On skill competence, the number of students who can reach KKM in Cycle I with percentage 26,67% and 43,33% in Cycle II. Based on the result, it can be concluded that the implementation of Discovery Learning model can improve the learning process and the students’ mathematics learning outcomes in class of XI MIA 1 MAN 3 Kota Pekanbaru.Key Words : Mathematics Learning Achievement, Discovery Learning Model, Classroom Action Research

Abstract

Abstract:This research based on the students?mathematics achievement at class XI MS II Senior High School Plus of Riau Province with cooperative learning Think Pair Square (TPS), there are 24 students in the class with 18 are male and 6 female. There are 20 students who achieved the passing grade by the percentage 83,3% for attitude competence. Only 10 students who achieved the pasing grade by percentage 41,6% for knowledge competence and 12 students who achieved the passing grade by the percentage 50% for skill competence for the main discussion about relevancy with algebraic operations on matrix. The research is classroom action research. This aims research to increase learning process and students? math achievement at class VIII.2 SMPN 4 Tapungthrough the implentation cooperative learning model of structural Two Stay Two Stray.The subject of the research are 24 students from class XI MS II Senior High School Plus of Riau Province with the heterogenous level. Instrument to collect the data are observation, attitude assessment sheet, skill assessment sheet and mathematics achivement test. The observation data analyzed by using descriptive and qualitative,and for students?test by using descriptiveand quantitative. The qualitative analysis showed an improvement of learning process prior to action to the first cycle and second cycle. The results of this research showed an increase in students achievement for attitude competence from the based-score with the percentage 83,3% to 87,5% on the first cycle and 100% on the second cycle. For knowledge competence showed an increase from the based-score with the percentage 41,6% to 62,5% on the first cycle and 83,3% on the second cycle. And for skills competence showed an increase from the based-score with the percentage 50% to 62,5% on the first cycle and 87,5% on the second cycle. Based on the finding can be concluded that the implentation of cooperative learning model Think Pair Square could improve students? mathematics achievement at class XI MS II Senior High School Plus of Riau Province in the first semester academic years 2014/2015.Key Word : Students? Abstract

Abstract: The analysis of mathematic text book for 5th grade of elementary school showed that it had some limitation in term of concept, media, and language. This research aim to develop suplement text book tobe used with main textbook provided by government. This book is developed based on traditional grames of Riau This research used Research and Development method with a model of Plomp. The study was started by analyzing mathematic elementary school textbooks that is used in 5th grade of elementary school and develop a new mathematic learning material based on traditional games of Riau.Traditional game used were gasing, besimbang, guli, congkak, setatak, and ligu.The development of mathematic learning material were conducted by: 1)Analyzingbasic competence and main competence of 2013 curriculum that match with traditional games of Riau; 2)Collecting and designing learning material content; 3)Developing mathematic learning material; 4)Testing, evaluating, and reviewing the mathematic learning material for 5th grade based on traditional games of Riau. Product of this research is mathematic learning material which contain learning activities in mathematic that match with traditional games of Riau The product of this research was tested to 30 students of 5th grade in elementary school. Analysis technique that is used is the quantitative descriptive analysis. The result of expert assessment showed that mathematic learning material based on traditional games of Riau is valid in ?high? category with an skor average was 3.38. Based on the result of experiments to 30 students in 5th grade of elementary school,it can be concluded that mathematic learning material has practicalty from the achievement and response of quetioner with the averagerating score of 93%. The textbook as the product of this research can be used as supplement book in teaching mathematic in 5th grade of elementary school.Key words: mathematic student textbook, traditional games of Riau, Research and Development

Abstract

Abstract: The background of this research is by the limited availability of mathematics learning instrument based curicullum 2013 by teachers. This research purpose is produce to mathematics learning instrument (Lesson Plan and Student Worksheet) which refers to Discovery Learning model on matter of build trigonometri for SMA/MA with minimum valid and practical criteria. This reserch method used is ADDIE model by Dick & Carry, that consist of analysis, design, development, implementation and evaluation, but the reserch only done to implementation step due to time and cost constraints. In this research, a limited trial was conducted on 17 students of high school class XI.. Based on the results, data analysis can be concluded that the study of mathematics is very valid to the average ratings for the lesson plan is 3.71 and the average ratings for the student worksheet is 3.52. The student worksheet has also reached the practical qualification in mean percentage of student responses 94,58% in limited group trial with very practical criteria. Based on the results of this study can be concluded that the product in the form of RPP and LKS mathematics with discovery learning model on Trigonometry material for SMA / MA is considered very valid and practical.Keywords: Discovery Learning model, Lesson Plan, Students worksheet, Trigonometry

Abstract

Abstract: This research is classroom action research which aims to improve the learning process and the result of learning mathematics by applying Discovery Learning (DL) model. The subject of this research were the second semester students of class X MIA 5 MAN 2 Model Pekanbaru academic year 2016/2017 consisting of 13 male and 17 female students. Instruments on this reserach constisted of syllabus, lesson plans and worksheets; and instruments of data collection which is observation sheets and the test result sheets. The function of observation sheet is to obtain data from the learning process and analyzed in a narrative descriptive, while the function of results sheet of the mathematics learning tests is to obtain the results of the study and analyzed in statistics descriptive. From narrative descriptive analysis can be seen that there was improvement of learning process from before action in cycle I to cycle II. From statistic deskriptive analysis can be seen an increase in the number of students who reach the minimum criteria of mastery learning. The learning result of the student experience an increase from the basic score the Cycle I and Cycle II. On the knowledge competence, from the basic score with percentage 36,67% experience improvement in Cycle I with percentage 50% and 70% in Cycle II. On the skills competence, the number of students who reach the minimum criteria of mastery learning from Cycle I with percentage 23.33% improve to 50% in cycle II. Based on the results of this research can be concluded that the application of the Discovery Learning (DL) model can improve the learning achievement of the second semester students of class X MIA 5 MAN 2 Model Pekanbaru academic year 2016/2017.Key Words: Mathematics Learning Achievement, Discovery Learning model, Classroom Action Research
