Abstract

In the past the division of work roles and family duties was very clear. Where the husband is the breadwinner while the wife takes care of his family and children. In line with the development of business and the business world, opportunities for education and work not only for men but also women. At present there has been a change in demographic trends that not only hit Indonesia but also the world. Like the increase in the number of women entering the workforce, and the increasing number of families where husbands and wives, each works and has their own income. Based on the data that has been observed, the type of research is descriptive research using surveys. Based on the form of the problem, this research includes Quantitative Descriptive research. The population in this study is the entire research subject, namely female employees at PT. Bank Sumut Tbk Medan. The sample used in this study is a minimum of 100 people

Abstract

This study aims to find out how the marketing strategy in accordance for applied to LKP English Hypnosis Center (IHC) in increasing the number of trainees in time pandemic COVID-19 based on an analysis SWOT (Strengths, Weaknesses, Threats, Opportunity). In this study, the author uses a qualitative method with the technique of triangulation data. Technique collection data used is method observation, Interview, documentation, and questionnaire. Technique analysis data used are SWOT analysis, IFAS matrix, EFAS matrix, SWOT diagram, and the SWOT matrix. Furthermore, based on the results of the analysis using the IFAS matrix, EFAS matrix, SWOT diagram, and SWOT matrix, then it can be it is known that the LKP Indonesian Hypnosis Center (IHC) is running strategy SO (Strength- Opportunity) is a strategy where the organization uses their strengths and opportunities to run their business. With thereby LKP English Hypnosis Center (IHC) should concentrate maintain and increase program training which varies according to the needs of the community with 3 main points, namely: (1) Utilization of social media with a maximum for promotion sales. (2) Use of online seminars to expand market segments and increase the quantity of loyal participant training. (3) Development program training in accordance needs as adjustment self so that effort permanent endure in time pandemic.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of trust, convenience, quality of information and price on students' decisions to enter the University of Harapan Medan. This study uses an associative research type with a quantitative approach. The population in this study were students of Harapan University, Medan. Sources of data using primary data obtained by using a questionnaire. Data were analyzed using Multiple Linear Regression analysis technique. The results show that trust has a significant effect on college admission decisions. The magnitude of the contribution of trust in influencing college admission decisions is 0.663. This means that trust is very important because it can increase college admission decisions by 66.30%. Ease has a significant effect on college admission decisions. The magnitude of the contribution of convenience in influencing college admission decisions is 0.845. This means that convenience is very important because it can increase college admission decisions by 84.50%. The quality of information has a significant effect on college admission decisions. The magnitude of the contribution of information quality in influencing college admission decisions is 0.412. This means that the quality of information is very important because it can increase college admission decisions by 41.20%. Price has a significant effect on college admission decisions. The amount of price contribution in influencing college admission decisions is 0.517. This means that the price is very important because it can increase the decision to enter higher education by 51.70%.

Abstract

This study aims to determine what factors can influence students' decisions in choosing a private campus. This type of research is a descriptive quantitative research using primary data, namely questionnaires using Google forms and secondary data in the form of supporting documents. The population in this study was all vocational and high school students in the city of Medan, due to limited time and ability, this study took samples using the Slovin formula so that only 100 respondents were taken as samples. The data analysis model used multiple linear regression tests, classical assumption tests, and hypothesis testing. The results of this study are partially on the transactional factors only promotion factors, Person and physical evidence that have a significant effect on students' decisions to choose a private campus while the influential but not significant factors based on the results of the study are product, price, and location factors. , process. Then the relational factors that have a significant influence are familiarity and professional awareness, while the trust factor has an effect but is not significant. Simultaneously, the factors that exist in transactional (product, price, promotion, person), physical evidence and process) and relational (trust, familiarity, and professional awareness) influence the student's decision to choose a private campus.

Abstract

The Public Works Office of Medan City is one of the agencies engaged in the repair of road infrastructure. Based on the information that the researchers obtained, one of the problems faced by the Medan City Public Works Office is the lack of discipline in the work of production employees in completing their work and reduced employee job satisfaction and a tendency to decline in the performance of general employees. The purpose of this study was to determine and analyze the effect of work discipline on employee performance mediated by employee job satisfaction at the Medan City Public Works Office. The number of population in this study was 214 people and the sample was 139 respondents using the Slovin method. The test used is path analysis or path analysis. The results of this study indicate that work discipline has no positive and significant effect on employee performance, work discipline has a positive and significant effect on employee job satisfaction, employee job satisfaction has a significant effect on employee performance and work discipline has a positif effect on employee performance throught employee job satisfaction.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine and analyze the effect of training and leadership on employee performance at PT. Gyatha Anugerah Persada Medan. The data used are primary data and secondary data. Primary data was collected through questionnaires distributed to employees, while secondary data was obtained from documentation studies obtained from various information held by the company and the results of previous research. The data analysis method uses quantitative methods, namely Multiple Linear Regression analysis. The population in this study were all employees of PT. Gyatha Anugerah Persada Medan and the sample in this study was the total population of 113 employees. The results showed that training (X1) and leadership (X2) on employee performance, it was concluded that there was a positive and significant effect of training and leadership on employee performance at PT. Gyatha Anugerah. While the ability of Training (X1) and Leadership (X2) together can explain changes in Employee Performance (Y) by 41.5% while the remaining 58.5% is influenced by other factors not discussed in this study.

Abstract

From the initial research that researchers do, the phenomenon at the office of PT. Jiwasraya Cabang Medan, among others, placement of employees who have not been in accordance with the demands of office and educational background, so as not to meet the capacity capability as appropriate. The need for competent employees in accordance with the position of his position that has not sufficient cause the consequences of a less responsible attitude towards his work, the motivation for achievement to be lost, not enthusiasm work and feeling saturated. Such trends can occur in PT. Jiwasraya Cabang Medan, all of this stems from the mismatch of employee position placement with an existing workload that the interest or job satisfaction of employees decreased, while in terms of facilities and infrastructure and has been very supportive of employees in completing their work. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of work placement, workload, and organizational culture on work motivation at PT. Jiwasraya Cabang Medan. The number of samples in this study amounted to 79 people using the curated sample technique. The analysis technique used is multiple linear regression. The results showed that simultaneously work placement variables, workload and organizational culture have a significant effect on employee work motivation. Job placement has no significant effect on employee work motivation, workload and organizational culture have an effect on employee work motivation

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh inovasi berpengaruh terhadap keunggulan bersaing, untuk mengetahui pengaruh orientasi kewirausahaan terhadap keunggulan bersaing, untuk mengetahui apakah kualitas produk memoderasi pengaruh inovasi terhadap keunggulan bersaing dan untuk mengetahui apakah kualitas produk memoderasi pengaruh orientasi kewirausahaan terhadap keunggulan bersaing. Jumlah populasi dalam penelitian ini tidak diketahui secara pastik jumlahnya, sehingga diterapkan teknik pengambilan sampel penelitian dari menerapkan teknik cluster random sampling yakni, UKM di pusat kuliner yang berada di 5 Kecamatan tersebut, dengan masing-masing Kecamatan adalah 20 UKM sehingga jumlah keseluruhan 5 Kecamatan yaitu, 100 UKM sebagai sampel. Teknik analisis yang digunakan adalah regresi linier berganda dan MRA. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa inovasi berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap keunggulan bersaing, orientasi kewirausahaan tidak berpengaruh terhadap keunggulan bersaing, kualitas produk tidak memoderasi pengaruh inovasi terhadap keunggulan bersaing, kualitas produk memoderasi pengaruh orientasi kewirausahaan terhadap keunggulan bersaing.. Abstract

Pada era globalisasi sekarang ini, telekomunikasi memegang peranan yang sangat penting dan strategis dalam kehidupan manusia. Seiring dengan perubahan gaya hidup masyarakat sekarang ini, masyarakat membutuhkan akses informasi yang beragam, mudah, cepat dan handal. Hal merupakan peluang sekaligus tantangan bagi operator provider telekomunikasi untuk memenuhi kebutuhan masyarakat tersebut. Tujuan Penelitian ini untuk melihat sejauh apa brand image, kualitas produk dan harga bagi calon konsumen untuk memutuskan menjadi pelanggan IndiHome. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif, digunakan untuk meneliti pada kondisi objek alamiah, dimana peneliti adalah sebagai instrumen kunci, teknik pengumpulan data dengan triangulasi, analisis data bersifat induktif atau kualitatif Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa masih adanya minat para konsumen Kota Medan untuk menggunakan IndiHome karena dari segi komersil yaitu perusahaan Telkom yang sudah berdiri sejak lama, yang dahulunya bernama speedy menjadi indihome dan meningkatkan kepercayaan orang untuk berlangganan serta menggunakan indihome ini dari segi ketersediaan jaringan ditempat-tempat umum diseluruh Indonesia baik dikantor, sekolah atau kampus, cafe maupun taman umum dengan menggunakan fitur wifi.id. Harga yang ditawarkan masih bisa dijangkau oleh masyarakat. Dengan harga yang ditawarkan memudahkan untuk memilih paket sesuai dengan kebutuhan. Dengan menggunakan sistem fiber optic dan layanan Triple Play yang dapat menggunakan tiga layanan sekaligus dalam waktu yang bersamaan bahkan akan ditambah menjadi empat layanan yang semakin meningkatkan keinginan konsumen untuk menjadi pelanggan indihome. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji “Commitment Organization ditinjau dari Work Life Balance, Perceived Organizational Support dan Development Career Terhadap Melalui Job Satisfaction Sebagai Variabel Intervening Pada PT Global Indonesia Asia Sejahtera”. Metode pengumpulan sampel yaitu sampel jenuh dengan jumlah sampel yaitu 104 orang. Metode analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis jalur dengan menggunakan bantuan komputer dengan software program SPSS versi 21. Adapun teknik pengambilan data dengan menggunakan skala likert. Hasil penelitian yang diperoleh yaitu Work life balance (X1) secara langsung berpengaruh terhadap job satisfaction (Y1), Perceived organizational support (X2) secara langsung berpengaruh terhadap job satisfaction (Y1), Career development (X3) secara langsung berpengaruh terhadap job satisfaction (Y1), Work life balance (X1) secara langsung tidak berpengaruh terhadap commitment organization (Y2), Perceived organizational support (X2) secara langsung berpengaruh terhadap commitment organization (Y2), Career development (X3) secara langsung berpengaruh terhadap commitment organization (Y2), Job satisfaction (Y1) secara langsung berpengaruh terhadap commitment organization (Y2), Work life balance (X1) secara tidak langsung melalui job satisfaction (Y1) mempunyai pengaruh signifikan terhadap commitment organization (Y2), Perceived organizational support (X2) secara tidak langsung melalui job satisfaction (Y1) berpengaruh secara positif dan signifikan terhadap commitment organization (Y2). Career development (X3) secara tidak langsung melalui job satisfaction (Y1) berpengaruh secara positif dan signifikan terhadap commitment organization (Y2) .
