Abstract

This study examines consumer protection against the practice of motorcycle chassis number forgery in used motorcycle sale and purchase transactions, with a case study conducted in Tanjung Sari Village, Batang Kuis District. The background of this research is based on the information asymmetry regarding the forgery of chassis numbers in motor vehicle transactions. This study aims to analyze the forms of legal protection available to consumers under Law Number 8 of 1999 concerning Consumer Protection and to examine the practice from the perspective of Islamic law based on DSN-MUI Fatwa No. 43/DSN-MUI/VIII/2004. This research employs an empirical juridical method with case, legal, and conceptual approaches. Data were collected through interviews, observations, and document studies, and were subsequently processed and analyzed using qualitative methods. The results indicate that the practice of chassis number forgery constitutes a violation of consumers’ rights due to the discrepancy between the actual condition and specifications of the goods sold, as well as the consumers’ right to compensation. This practice is inconsistent with Article 8 paragraph (1) letter f and Article 4 letter h of Law Number 8 of 1999 concerning Consumer Protection. From the perspective of DSN-MUI Fatwa No. 43/DSN-MUI/VIII/2004, this practice results in a real loss that renders the contract defective, thereby obligating the seller to provide ta’widh (compensation). Therefore, greater consumer awareness, stronger transaction verification systems, stricter law enforcement, and effective compensation mechanisms are necessary to ensure optimal consumer protection.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh budaya organisasi dan kepuasan kerja terhadap kinerja karyawan dengan motivasi kerja sebagai variabel intervening pada PT Bank Sumut Kantor Pusat Medan. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain asosiatif. Populasi penelitian adalah seluruh karyawan PT Bank Sumut Kantor Pusat Medan, dengan sampel sebanyak 88 responden yang ditentukan menggunakan rumus Slovin. Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan SEM-PLS melalui software SmartPLS 3. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa budaya organisasi dan kepuasan kerja berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan. Kepuasan kerja juga berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap motivasi kerja, sedangkan budaya organisasi tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap motivasi kerja. Motivasi kerja terbukti berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan. Selain itu, motivasi kerja tidak memediasi pengaruh budaya organisasi terhadap kinerja, namun memediasi secara signifikan pengaruh kepuasan kerja terhadap kinerja karyawan. This study aims to analyze the effect of organizational culture and job satisfaction on employee performance, with work motivation as an intervening variable at PT Bank Sumut Head Office Medan. The study employs a quantitative approach with an associative research design. The population consists of employees of PT Bank Sumut Head Office Medan, with a sample of 88 respondents selected using the Slovin formula. Data analysis was conducted using SEM-PLS with SmartPLS 3 software. The results indicate that organizational culture and job satisfaction have a positive and significant effect on employee performance. Job satisfaction also has a positive and significant effect on work motivation, while organizational culture does not significantly affect work motivation. Work motivation has a positive and significant effect on employee performance. Furthermore, work motivation does not mediate the relationship between organizational culture and employee performance but significantly mediates the relationship between job satisfaction and employee performance.

Abstract

Kesehatan reproduksi remaja merupakan aspek penting dalam menjaga kualitas generasi muda, namun pengetahuan remaja mengenai kesehatan reproduksi masih perlu ditingkatkan. Salah satu upaya yang dapat dilakukan adalah melalui pendidikan teman sebaya (peer education), yang dianggap lebih efektif karena menggunakan pendekatan yang sesuai dengan karakteristik remaja. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pendidikan teman sebaya terhadap pengetahuan kesehatan reproduksi remaja di SMA Negeri 1 Air Putih Kabupaten Batu Bara. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif dengan desain preexperimental melalui pendekatan one group pre-test dan post-test. Populasi penelitian berjumlah 599 siswa, dengan sampel sebanyak 86 responden yang diambil menggunakan teknik stratified random sampling. Analisis data yang digunakan adalah uji Wilcoxon. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya pengaruh pendidikan teman sebaya terhadap pengetahuan kesehatan reproduksi pada remaja (p<0,05). yang berarti terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara sebelum dan sesudah intervensi. Sebanyak 69 responden mengalami peningkatan pengetahuan, 1 responden mengalami penurunan, dan 16 responden tidak mengalami perubahan Kesimpulan penelitian ini adalah pendidikan teman sebaya berpengaruh signifikan terhadap peningkatan pengetahuan kesehatan reproduksi remaja dan dapat digunakan sebagai strategi edukasi yang efektif di lingkungan sekolah.

Abstract

Economic activities are increasingly complex along with the development of people's economic needs in modern times. Currently, there are many non-bank Islamic Financial Institutions that can help meet the needs of the consumptive community, such as the needs of members in the health and education sectors using ijarah contracts. The implementation is that the Islamic Financial Institution provides funds to members for education and hospital expenses, after which the members pay the Islamic Financial Institution in installments with a predetermined ujrah. After the author observes the implementation of ijarah contracts that are applied in multi-service financing such as education and health costs, these practices are not in accordance with Islamic law, because the meaning of services in ijarah contracts practiced by financial institutions is that service products owned by financial institutions are not services that are performed. by other parties.
