Abstract

Peningkatan kadar gula darah atau hiperglikemia sering ditemukan pada penderita diabetes mellitus yang tidak terkontrol. Kadar gula darah yang tidak terkontrol pada waktu yang lama dapat menyebabkan komplikasi baik makrovaskluer maupun mikrovaskuler. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh edukasi manajemen Diabetes Mellitus terhadap pengetahuan pasien Diabetes Mellitus Tipe 2 di Puskesmas Katobu. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan metode the one group pretes-posttes design yang dilakukan di Puskesmas Katobu pada bulan Januari-Februari tahun 2024 dengan melibatkan sampel sebanyak 27 orang. Penarikan sampel menggunakan teknik simple random sampling. Data dianalisis dengan menggunakan uji wilcoxon. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sebelum diberikan edukasi bahwa pengetahuan responden yang baik sebanyak 11 orang (40,7%) dan yang kurang sebanyak 16 orang (59,3%) sedangkan setelah diberikan edukasi kesehatan bahwa pengetahuan responden semua menjadi baik masing-masing sebanyak 27 orang (100%) serta terdapat pengaruh Edukasi Manajemen Diabetes Mellitus terhadap Pengetahuan Pasien Diabetes Mellitus Tipe 2 di Puskesmas Katobu (ρ = 0,000. Disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh Edukasi Manajemen Diabetes Mellitus terhadap Pengetahuan Pasien Diabetes Mellitus Tipe 2. Disarankan agar responden rutin melakukan kunjungan ke poli untuk memeriksakan kadar gula darah di puskesmas

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui implementasi penerapan manajemen risiko mulai dari tahap pengidentifikasian risiko, pengelolaan risiko hingga pengendalian risiko oleh UMKM pada umumnya di masa pandemi. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif, literatur review dengan sumber data berasal dari jurnal nasional bereputasi. Hasil penelitian menyebutkan bahwa di masa pandemi UMKM memiliki risiko produk, pemasaran dan promosi, serta keuangan. Dalam pengelolaan manajemen risiko UMKM memiliki solusi seperti inovasi-inovasi pemasaran berbiaya rendah yang mempu mempertahankan jumlah penjualan, menghitung penyusutan setiap aset yang dimiliki serta imbal hasil investasi usaha terkait inflasi dan biaya produksi. UMKM seharusnya mengendalikan risiko agar mampu bertahan di masa pandemi dengan bantuan asuransi, mengasah kemampuan untuk melihat peluang, melakukan marketing seluas-luasnya dengan bantuan sosial media ataupun marketlplace.

Abstract

Salah satu komponen terpenting dalam proses pembelajaran adalah pendidik dan peserta didik. Seiring dengan perkembangan zaman, terjadi pergeseran pola hubungan guru dan siswa. Nilai ekonomi telah mendorong banyak kebijakan, dan apresiasi siswa terhadap gurupun telah menurun, harga pekerjaan guru lebih tinggi, dan penghargaan guru terhadapnya lebih rendah. Mengingat urgensi peran guru dalam proses pendidikan, banyak ulama menulis tentang kewajiban, sifat atau tugas yang harus dimiliki guru dan siswa. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian kepustakaan. Hasil penelitian adalah  bahwa seorang guru terikat dengan etika profesi pada 3 (tiga) dimensi, yaitu (1) etika profesi guru yang berkaitan dengan dirinya sendiri, (2) etika profesi guru yang berkaitan dengan siswa dan sesama guru dan  (3) etika profesi guru terkait dengan tugasnya.   Temuan penelitian adalah aspek yang harus dimiliki seorang guru menurut Al Quran dan Hadist adalah (1) zuhud, bersih dari sifat tercela, (2) bijaksana, tegas, pemaaf, sabar dan (3) tulus ikhlas, kompeten dan komunikatif.  Disimpulkan bahwa Etika Profsi Guru telah diatur dalam Islam melalui Al Quran dan Hadist dan hendaknya seorang guru mengamalkan aspek aspek tersebut. Abstract Education in simple terms can be interpreted as an effort to shape human personality in accordance with the values and ethical codes contained in society and the state. One of the most important components in the learning process is educators and students. Along with the times, there has been a shift in the pattern of teacher-student relationships. Economic values have driven many policies, and students' appreciation of teachers has decreased, teachers' work is priced higher, and teachers' respect for them is lower. Given the urgency of the teacher's role in the educational process, many scholars write about the obligations, characteristics or duties that teachers and students must have. This research is a qualitative descriptive research with a type of library research. The results of the research are limited to personal and professional aspects including: 1. Ethics of the teaching profession related to himself, namely asceticism, clean from sin and despicable traits. 2. Ethics of the teaching profession relating to students and fellow teachers, namely being wise and firm, forgiving and patient, having dignity and self-esteem, loving students as loving their own children, knowing the habits of students. 3. The ethics of the teaching profession are related to their duties, namely being sincere in work, having competence and mastering the field of study, being able to create active communication between teachers and students.

Abstract

In today's competitive business environment, companies must continuously adapt to evolving consumer needs to sustain their market presence. The NATEMU Electronic Service Workshop in Southeast Aceh, operating for over 24 years, exemplifies these challenges. Despite a substantial customer base, NATEMU has recently experienced a decline in clientele due to the intensification of market competition and the emergence of new service providers. This study aims to analyze marketing strategies that can enhance service quality and restore customer loyalty. The research utilizes SWOT analysis to identify the workshop's internal strengths and weaknesses, as well as external opportunities and threats. Furthermore, the study applies the marketing mix framework (4Ps)—product, price, place, and promotion—to develop strategic initiatives. The findings reveal that while NATEMU's service quality is generally rated as good, certain aspects, particularly service assurance, require significant improvement. Enhancing promotional activities through social media platforms and optimizing the strategic location of the workshop are identified as key factors in attracting a broader customer base. The study concludes that the integration of SWOT analysis and an effective marketing mix strategy is essential for improving service quality and increasing customer satisfaction. These strategic approaches are critical for NATEMU Workshop to maintain competitiveness and achieve sustainable growth in an increasingly dynamic service industry.

Abstract

This study examines the impact of brand image and brand trust on students' selection of Politeknik Unggul LP3M as their higher education institution. In the intensifying rivalry within the education sector, comprehending the determinants that affect prospective students' decisions is crucial. Brand image reflects public opinion of an institution, whereas brand trust signifies confidence in the institution's quality and dedication. This research utilized a quantitative methodology, gathering data using a questionnaire survey. The study's population consisted of all new students at Politeknik Unggul LP3M, from which a purposive sampling method was employed to pick a sample of 150 respondents. We employed regression analysis to assess the influence of independent variables on the decision-making process. The findings indicated that brand image and brand trust substantially affected students' choices. The managerial implications of these findings indicate that the administration of Politeknik Unggul LP3M must enhance its brand image by advocating for academic excellence, contemporary facilities, and community engagement. Moreover, maintaining uniformity in service and clarity in information helps enhance brand trust. We anticipate that this strategy will enhance the institution's competitiveness and attract additional students. The study's shortcomings encompass restricting the sample to new Politeknik Unggul LP3M students, potentially failing to fully represent the broader population of prospective students. We recommend broadening the sample size and incorporating more pertinent variables in subsequent study

Abstract

Notaries play a strategic role in the Indonesian legal system, particularly in the preparation of company deeds of establishment and amendments. A notary's responsibilities extend beyond administrative duties and include preventive legal functions and oversight of document validity. The primary duties of a notary include verifying the identity of the parties, verifying the authority of the management, verifying the authenticity of documents, recording, storing, and providing legal advice to prevent misuse of documents by unauthorized parties. The case of Muhammad Rinaldi in Decision Number 589/Pid.B/2023/PN Jkt.Sel emphasizes the importance of verifying and legalizing amendments, as illegal use of old deeds can result in legal, financial, and reputational losses for both the company and third parties. Notarial deeds have full evidentiary power as stipulated in Article 1868 of the Civil Code and Law Number 2 of 2014 concerning Amendments to Law Number 30 of 2004 concerning the Position of Notary (UUJN). However, unlawful misuse of notarial deeds can be classified as a criminal act of document forgery as referred to in Article 263 paragraph (2) of the Criminal Code. Legal protection for third parties acting in good faith is still guaranteed, including the right to restitution for losses resulting from forgery. This study confirms that integrity, professionalism, and the implementation of strict verification procedures by notaries are essential factors in ensuring legal certainty, preventing misuse of deeds, and protecting the rights of all interested parties. Thus, the role of notaries must be understood not only as the maker of deeds, but also as the guardian of legality and guardian of legal morality in notarial practice in Indonesia.

Abstract

Background: This review synthesizes diverse studies to understand antibiotic effects on microbiome composition and function, informing strategies to mitigate dysbiosis in pediatric populations.  Methods: The review adhered to PRISMA 2020 standards and analyzed full-text English literature from 2014 to 2024. Literature sources included PubMed, SagePub, SpringerLink, and Google Scholar. Result: A total of  500 articles were retrieved from online databases (PubMed, SagePub, SpringerLink and Google Scholar). After three rounds of screening, ten articles directly relevant to the systematic review were selected for full-text reading and analysis. Discussion: Antibiotics, particularly azithromycin, show varied impacts on gut microbiota diversity and composition in children. Studies highlight specific taxa affected and potential long-term consequences, underscoring the need for cautious antibiotic use to preserve microbial health in pediatric populations. Conclusion: The review emphasizes the complex and context-specific effects of antibiotics on children's gut microbiota. It calls for judicious antibiotic prescribing to mitigate potential long-term disruptions to microbial diversity and function, crucial for maintaining overall health in pediatric populations.

Abstract

This analysis is intended to evaluate the impact of transformational leadership and perceived organizational support on educators' work attachment at SMA Negeri 2 Mranggen, Demak Regency, with work motivation placed as an intermediate variable. This study seeks to close the gap from previous research that showed mixed results related to the relationship between these variables. The approach used in this analysis is in the form of a survey with an explanatory research design. The subjects of the analysis included all teaching staff at SMA Negeri 2 Mranggen, Demak Regency, which amounted to 67 people, as well as being used as a sample through the total sampling technique. The main data sources were obtained using questionnaires and interviews, then processed using the Partial Least Square (PLS) method using the SmartPLS application version 4.0. The findings of the analysis confirm that transformational leadership and work motivation have a positive and significant influence on work attachment. However, the perceived organizational support does not have a significant influence on work attachment, either directly or through work motivation as a mediating variable. This indicates that work motivation is not able to bridge the influence of transformational leadership and perceived organizational support on work attachment.

Abstract

Background: Ignoring dental and oral hygiene can cause a variety of illnesses such as tooth decay and periodontitis. One of the symptoms caused by tooth decay is a change in tooth color. Periodontitis is characterized by bleeding, discoloration, viscosity, and edema of the gums. Periodontitis is characterized by the presence of periodontal pockets, recession, or both. Bad breath can be part of periodontitis. Object : This study was conducted to obtain descriptive data on individual attitudes and behaviours for maintaining dental and oral health in preclinical students in their final year. Method: The target of this activity is the final stage preclinical student of DKI Jakarta School of Dentistry. The revised Indonesian Hiroshima University-Dental Behavioural Inventory (HU-DBI) questionnaire was distributed to 103 respondents. Data processing uses the sum of the question values and percentages. Results: The data collected show that female respondents are not always good at keeping their teeth clean. Toothpaste is common, but dental floss and mouthwash are not used on a daily basis. The incidence of periodontitis does not occur in most senior students. Conclusion: Female respondents are more willing to maintain dental and oral health than male respondents. Male respondents have better dental and oral hygiene practices than female respondents. The actions of male respondents do not perform correctly for all questions. The use of dental floss and mouthwash achieved good results among female respondents.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of youth participation and youth leadership on the social contributions of Pemuda Pelopor (Pioneering Youth) in Indonesia. The research employed a quantitative approach with a causal associative design. The study population consisted of Pemuda Pelopor registered in the 2023 program of the Ministry of Youth and Sports (Kemenpora), with a sample of 120 respondents selected through purposive sampling. Data were collected using a Likert-scale questionnaire and analyzed with SPSS version 26, including validity and reliability tests, multiple linear regression, as well as F-test and t-test analyses. The results revealed that: (1) youth participation has a positive and significant effect on social contribution; (2) youth leadership has a positive and significant effect on social contribution; and (3) youth participation and youth leadership simultaneously have a significant effect on the social contribution of Pemuda Pelopor. These findings reinforce Social Participation Theory and Transformational Leadership Theory, emphasizing that active involvement and visionary leadership play crucial roles in fostering awareness and collective social action among youth. The study’s outcomes are expected to serve as a reference for developing youth empowerment policies and programs that are more participatory, collaborative, and sustainable in Indonesia
