AbstractThis article aims to describe the traditional dance study with method of peer tutors in SMP 1 Superior Bukittinggi. This type of research is research experiments. Test skills (psychomotor) students in learning dance with wiraga indicators, wirama, wirasa, property, floor patterns. Types of data using primary data and secondary data. The technique of data collection is done by way of observation, study and library test appearances. And data were analyzed using t-test paired sample t test (paired t-test). The results showed that there is a difference between learning outcomes students learn the art of dance with the application of peer tutor methods with conventional approaches to learning outcomes. This can be seen from the average value of experimental class learning outcomes i.e. 87,66, while the average value of control class learning outcomes i.e. 84.57. Then strengthened again with the results of hypothesis testing where tcÂount > ttaÂble (9,989 > 2,0021). Then H1 accepted and H0 is rejected.Keywords: Peer tutors, learning methods of danceÂ

AbstractThis study aimed to describe the motivation of students to take part in learning dance in SMP N 3 Padang. This type of research was qualitative research with descriptive analysis method. The main instrument in this study was the researcher selves and assisted with supporting instruments such as stationery and cameras. The types of data used are primary data and secondary data. Techniques of data collection were carried out by observation, interviews and documentation. The results of data collection are presented, concluded and verified to obtain the correct data conclusions. The results showed that students' motivation in dance learning at SMPN 3 Padang was caused by individual studentsâ€™ factors and teacher factors, with a poor percentage result, because the teachers in the learning process did not use varied methods and media. In the learning process, the teacher does not use media (laptops, pictures, videos, infocus, tape / speakers) as a tool. The teacher only explains the subject matter. From the results of observations and interviews, students' motivation looks less motivated caused by individual factors and teacher factors.Keywords: motivation, learning the art of dance

AbstractÂ This article aims to determine the effects and differences of the integrated learning of the webbed model on the learning outcomes of Grade VIII students in art and culture subjects at SMP Pembangunan Laboratorium UNP. The type of this research was quantitative research using experimental method. The objects of research were students of grade VIII, with researcherâ€™s instruments. The techniques of data collection were conducted through learning outcomes test aspects of knowledge and skills as well as observation. Then, Â the data were analyzed quantitaively towards the learning outcomes by means of normality, homogeneity, and hypothesis testing. The results confimed that the use of a webbed integrated learning model in learning arts and culture created students more actively excited and easier to understand the material in learning. Meanwhile, through the results of learning arts and culture, it could be seen that the experimental class students had higher grades and were better than the control class. It indicated, in the aspect of knowledge, the average value using the integrated learning model webbed was 83.3 whereas in the control class using conventional methods, the average value of learning outcomes was 76.4. By means of the t test obtained Fcount 10.36 while Ftabel 1.67 with a significance level of 0.05. As a result, the value of Fcount > Ftabel. Thus, the hypothesis was accepted. AbstractÂ This article aims to describe the character development through dance learning at SMP N 35 Padang. The research was a qualitative research with a descriptive approach. This research was conducted in IX grade which amounted to 24 students. The main research instrument was the reseracher herself and assisted by supporting tools such as stationeries and photo camera. Character Education is the education that places great emphasis on the aspect of values that are expected to produce human the have a high sensitivity to the upholding of the values of truth, justice, humanity and progress which are the foundation in human life on this earth. Based on interviews with arts and culture teacher (on July 6, 2018) and several teachers at SMP N 35 Padang, they stated that the students at the school prefered to be busy with their own activities, even they had deviant behavior.The results of this study indicated that through dance students' characters emerged, these studentsâ€™ characters were divided into three namely; appearing, some appearing and not appearing in the students. Then, the 8 characters that appeared in the students are religious, honest, tolerance, respect for achievement, friendship, love for peace, social care and the environment.The 6 other characters partly appeared in the students, namely curiosity, discipline, hard work, independent, responsibility, creative. Meanwhile, the 4 characters that did not appear at all in the formation of character through dance were the spirit of nationalism, love of the motherland, and fond of reading.Based on the description above, it could be concluded that dance could be a media in shaping Character Building through Dance Learning because there were 8 characters that appeared in each students. AbstractThis study aimed to describe the improvement of Studentsâ€™ motivation in dance art learning in SMA Negeri 2 Kerinci at class X by using video. The type of this study was qualitative with analysis descriptive method. Instruments used in this study were the researcher and it was also helped by stationaries and digital camera. Data in this study were primary and secondary data. Techniques of data collection were done by using library research, questionaires, interview and taking documentation. Data was analyzed by counting the result of observation with precentage, it gave motivation category and analyzed qualitatively. The result of study showed that studentsâ€™ motivation of class X-1 SMA Negeri 2 Kerinci was in good category.Keywords: student motivation, learning the art of dance

AbstractThis article aims to reveal and explain about how teachers interact with students and improve learning outcomes of students in learning the art of using the media Charts in SMP Negeri 4 Pariaman. This type of research this is a class action Research (PTK). The research was carried out in 2 cycle i.e. the cycle I and cycle II. The instruments used in this research is the written tests (cognitive) and test skills (psychomotor). The techniques used in data collection is the observation, knowledge (cognitive) tests and keterampilam tests (psychomotor). Technique of data analysis is carried out based on the activity of learning, student learning outcomes and assessment criteria. The results showed that the use of media art learning culture in chart in particular dance in Class VII. 4 SMP Negeri 4 Pariaman can improve the results of the study and was able to make student learning was directly involved in the practice of dance. On cycle I have not found an increase in student learning outcomes are significant but in cycle II by using the media, learners are more focused and serious in following the instruction. This is evident by the presence of learning outcomes grade VII. 4 on cycle I student learning outcomes the overall cognitive and psychomotor 62.95 and on student learning outcomes the overall cycle of psychomotor and cognitive 81.43. So there has been an increase in the results of learning the art of dance by using media chart and targets on want has been successful.Keywords: study results of dance, chart media

AbstractÂ This article aims to describe the factors that cause low attention of students toward the performance of cultural arts (dance) in SMP Negeri 1 Bangkinang Kota. The object of research was students of class IX KH. Ahmad Dahlan.Type of the research was qualitative study with using descriptive method. The research was conducted in the 2018/2019 school year in SMP Negeri 1 Bangkinang Kota. The main instrument in this research was the researcher and it was supoorted by measuring tool in the form of observation format. Techniques of data collection were done through literature study, observation, and documentation. In data analysis, it was done by conducting descriptive qualitative research.The result shows that students' attention are influenced by internal and external factors. The internal factors tend to cause low studentsâ€™ attention in art performance that are obligation, exercise, listening and thinking. Meanwhile, the external factors that cause low studentsâ€™ attention are from the teachers, the school facilities and the infrastructure as well as the school economic in the SMP Negeri 1 Bangkinang Kota.Â Keywords: The Student Attention, Art Performance, Dance

AbstractÂ This research aims to reveal and describe the development of Joget Dangkong in Moro District, Karimun Regency, Riau Islands Province. This research was a qualitative research with analytical descriptive method. The types of data used in this research were primary and secondary data. The main instrument in this research was the researcher herself and assisted by supporting instruments such as stationeries and cameras. Data collection techniques were conducted by means of literature study, observation, interviews and documentation. The data were analyzed by data reduction, data model (data display) and conclusion drawing / verification. The results confirmed that Joget Dangkong t was one of the arts and culture that was still being developed in the Moro Subdistrict of Karimun Regency, Riau Islands Province. Therefore, it Â still exists and is accepted in the community until now. In 2019, Joget Dangkong has been developed into Joget Dangkong creations in terms of form, distribution and function, and Joget Dangkong is only performed on certain events. The response of the community was very good and very supportive in order to maintain Jogging Dangkong, because Joget Dangkong had developed from the main source to earn a living, so now it is an entertainment. The development of Joget Dangkong is possible in the midst of society to foreign countries such as Malaysia and Singapore. Joget Dangkong creation is very well responded by the community since the development of Joget Dangkong is in a positive form without violating applicable ethics and norms. AbstractThis article aims to describe the perceptions of students in pembelejaran dance in SMP N 11 Sijunjung. This type of research is a qualitative approach using descriptive. The population in this research is grade VIII as many as 170 people. Sampling 42 students using the technique of sampling considerations (purposive) and random (random). Research instrument this is now about the student perception indicators i.e., acceptance and evaluation in learning the art of dance in SMP N 11 Sijunjung. Data collection is carried out through quantitative techniques the percentages and then processed into the qualitative data in the form of a descriptive. The results showed that the perception of students SMP N 11 Sijunjung already included into both criteria, can be seen from the overall perception of students which includes acceptance and evaluation in learning the art of dance has been reach 70.30%. From the results of the assessment, 73.81% of students give a good response, the next pass judgement 66.79% of students in both subjects the art of dance. Based on the results of the analysis it can be concluded that the percentage of the perception of students in learning the art of dance in SMP N 11 Sijunjung obtained 70.30% which belongs either.Keywords: perception of students, dance

AbstractÂ The research aims to reveal and describe the existence of the Salapan dance in enagarian Air Bangis Kecamatan Sungai Beremas Kabupaten Pasaman Barat. This type of research is qualitative research with a descriptive method. This type of research uses primary and secondary data. The main instrument in this research is its own researchers and assisted with supporting instruments such as stationery and cameras. Data collection techniques are conducted by way of library studies, observations, interviews and documentation. The steps for analyzing data are data collection, classifying data, analyzing data, interpreting data and making conclusions. The results showed that the existence of the Salapan dance in the middle of society is no longer exist because this dance is rarely displayed and there is no workshop to defend this dance. The choreographers of the Salapan dance creations have also eliminated the meaning of the tradition of dance by changing the movements and properties of the dance itself. The Salapan dance is no longer displayed at events held by local communities such as weddings, but the Salapan dance is only shown more frequently at the request of Tourism office in West Pasaman and competition events.Â Keyword: existence of dance Salapan
