Abstract

This research aims to understand the condition of coral reef (life coral), the abundance of reef target fishes, and the corellation between those two variables. This research has been conducted in Tinabo Besar Island with 6 sampling stations in 5-6 meter depth. Data collected are substrate cover precentage (life form), and the number of reef target fish appeared from 7 specified families (Serranidae, Lutjanidae, Haemulidae, Lethrinidae, Scaridae, Siganidae, and Acanthuridae) using Underwater Photo Transect (UPT) and Underwater Visual Census (UVC). Substrate cover analyzed using CPCe software with life coral, dead coral, algae, abiotic, and other biota cover output. Mortality Index (MI) obtained from the ratio of life coral and dead coral. The result shows that percentage of life coral coverlie between 11.87% to 38.80%, with dominance of Coral Masive (CM). It’s mean that the coral reef condition is in poor to moderate category. Coral death ratio is low with MI between 0.15 to 0.30. Reef target fish total abundance is 493 individual/2100m2 from 31 species, with dominance from Lutjanidae family (173 individual). The result shows positive and strong enough correlation between coral reef coverage and reef target fish abundance (r=0.65) with Determinantion Coefficient at 42.55%. Linear regression is y=-12.929+3.7562x, where in every addition of coral reef cover percentage, resulted in addition of 4 fishes.Keyword: life coral, abundance, reef target fish, correlation, Tinabo Besar Island

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh pendapatan rumah tangga, usia ibu dan pendidikan ibu terhadap angka stunting pada anak. Stunting merupakan masalah kesehatan yang berhubungan dengan malnutrisi kronis pada anak, yang dapat mempengaruhi perkembangan fisik dan kognitif. Faktor-faktor yang dipilih dalam penelitian ini didasarkan pada teori bahwa kondisi ekonomi dan sosial keluarga memiliki dampak signifikan terhadap status gizi anak. Pendekatan kuantitatif digunakan dengan analisis regresi logistik biner. Data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini diperoleh dari survei terhadap rumah tangga dengan anak balita di wilayah tertentu. Analisis dilakukan menggunakan regresi logistik untuk mengukur pengaruh antara variabel-variabel tersebut. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa usia ibu 26-35 tahun sebanyak (53%) mengalami stunting. Hal ini karena rentan usia yang tidak memadai dari segi pengetahuan tentang gizi seimbang, rendahnya status gizi ibu hamil.

Abstract

This community service program aims to enhance the understanding and capability of businesses in Kendari City in preparing financial reports in accordance with the Private Entity Financial Accounting Standards (SAK EP). The initiative was motivated by the low level of accounting literacy and the limited adoption of SAK EP among business actors, which has led to restricted access to financing, suboptimal decision-making, and potential risks of tax non-compliance. Implemented over three months by an academic team from Halu Oleo University, the program comprised three key phases: socialization, technical training, and hands-on mentoring. The results demonstrated a significant improvement in participants' awareness of the importance of accounting and their practical skills in preparing SAK EP-based financial reports. Program deliverables included training modules, standardized financial report templates, and individual action plans designed to strengthen bookkeeping practices and encourage the use of accounting software. A short-term evaluation and follow-up online mentoring were conducted to support the sustainability of the program's impact. This initiative is expected to contribute to enhanced financial transparency, improved tax compliance, and increased overall competitiveness of local businesses.

Abstract

The phenomenon of inclusive economic growth reflects the quality of regional development. This study aims to analyze the effect of poverty, income inequality (Gini ratio), Human Development Index (HDI), and Open Unemployment Rate (OUR) on inclusive economic growth in South Sulawesi Province. The data used is panel data from 24 districts/cities during the 2010–2024 period, sourced from the Central Statistics Agency and related agencies. The research method uses a quantitative approach, panel data regression analysis with a fixed effect model. The results show that poverty has no effect on inclusive economic growth, while the Gini ratio has a negative effect on inclusive economic growth. Meanwhile, HDI was found to have a positive effect, confirming that the quality of human development is key to achieving equitable growth. TPT has no effect on inclusive economic growth. The coefficient of determination in this study is 0.7889 or 78.89 percent of the ability of the independent variable to explain the dependent variable. Meanwhile, the remaining 21.11 percent is influenced by other factors outside the model.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the relationship between the tourism sector and Regional Original Income (PAD) in Gowa Regency. The tourism sector is considered to have great potential in increasing PAD through developing tourist attractions and increasing the number of tourist visits. The research method used is a quantitative approach with the Spearman Rank correlation analysis technique. The data used is time series data from 2015 to 2024 which includes the number of tourist attractions, the number of domestic tourists, foreign tourists and Gowa Regency PAD. The research results show that there is a strong and significant relationship between the number of tourist attractions and PAD. Meanwhile, a number of domestic tourists have a positive relationship with PAD. The number of foreign tourists shows a negative relationship. These results indicate that the development of tourist attractions has the most significant influence in increasing Gowa Regency's PAD compared to the number of tourist visits, especially foreign tourists.

Abstract

Tingkat pengangguran terbuka di Provinsi Sulawesi Selatan menunjukkan pola yang tidak stabil dan masih menjadi persoalan utama dalam pembangunan ekonomi daerah. Pertumbuhan jumlah penduduk usia kerja yang tidak sebanding dengan daya serap lapangan kerja, serta ketidakstabilan perekonomian menyebabkan tekanan pada pasar tenaga kerja. Kondisi ini menuntut analisis mendalam terhadap faktor-faktor yang memengaruhi pengangguran untuk mendukung perumusan kebijakan ketenagakerjaan yang lebih efektif. Penelitian ini menggunakan data panel yang bertujuan menganalisis pengaruh PDRB, TPT, dan Inflasi terhadap pengangguran terbuka pada lima kabupaten/kota di Sulawesi Selatan periode 2015-2024. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa secara parsial PDRB dan TPAK berpengaruh negatif signifikan, sedangkan inflasi tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap tingkat pengangguran terbuka. Secara simultan, ketiga variabel independen berpengaruh signifikan terhadap pengangguran terbuka. Temuan ini menegaskan pentingnya kebijakan pemerintah daerah untuk mendorong pertumbuhan ekonomi sektor produktif dan peningkatan kualitas tenaga kerja agar menekan pengangguran terbuka di Sulawesi Selatan.

Abstract

Financial stability is a crucial aspect of the economic system, particularly in the banking sector, which serves as the primary intermediary institution. This study aims to analyze the effect of bank size on financial stability in Indonesia during the 2014–2023 period. Bank size is measured through total assets and Third Party Funds (DPK), while economic stability is proxied by the Z-score. The study population includes 92 conventional banks registered with the Financial Services Authority (OJK). The sample was determined using a stratified sampling method based on the Bank Group category, Core Capital (KBMI), in accordance with POJK No. 12/POJK.03/2021, resulting in 48 banks as samples. Data are in the form of quarterly financial reports from the first quarter of 2014 to the fourth quarter of 2023. The analysis was conducted using panel data regression using the Fixed Effect Model (FEM). The results show that total assets have a positive and significant effect on financial stability, while DPK has a negative and significant impact.Stabilitas keuangan merupakan aspek krusial dalam sistem perekonomian, khususnya pada sektor perbankan sebagai lembaga intermediasi utama. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis pengaruh ukuran bank terhadap stabilitas keuangan di Indonesia pada periode 2014–2023. Ukuran bank diukur melalui total aset dan Dana Pihak Ketiga (DPK), sedangkan stabilitas keuangan diproksikan dengan Z-score. Populasi penelitian mencakup 92 bank konvensional yang terdaftar di Otoritas Jasa Keuangan (OJK). Sampel ditentukan dengan metode stratified sampling berdasarkan kategori Kelompok Bank berdasarkan Modal Inti (KBMI) sesuai POJK No. 12/POJK.03/2021, sehingga diperoleh 48 bank sebagai sampel. Data berupa laporan keuangan triwulanan dari Kuartal I 2014 hingga Kuartal IV 2023. Analisis dilakukan dengan regresi data panel menggunakan model Fixed Effect Model (FEM). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa total aset berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap stabilitas keuangan, sedangkan DPK berpengaruh negatif dan signifikan.

Abstract

Abstrak: Produksi udang vaname yang langsung dijual langsung tanpa ada pengelohan udang sebagai produk lain yang dapat menambah nilai tambah. PKM ini bertujuan sebagai upaya meningkatkan keterampilan ibu rumah tangga dalam diversifikasi olahan udang vaname menjadi produk olahan makanan berkualitas, bergizi dan bernilai jual tinggi sehingga meningkatkan pendapatan. Metode yang digunakan yakni diawali dengan pemberian materi melalui sosialisasi, pelatihan, praktek secara langsung, dan pendampingan serta evaluasi. Mitra pengabdian adalah ibu rumah tangga pemilik tambak udang di Desa Bonto Perak yang berjumlah 15 orang. Hasil pelaksanaan pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah produk olahan kue serabi dengan toping udang vaname sangat menjanjikan untuk dijadikan bisnis dan menjadikan produk ekonomi kreatif yang akan menambah pendapatan rumah tangga. Mitra juga terampil dalam pengemasan dengan plastik mika serta ditempel stiker agar menambah daya tarik. Hasil Evaluasi menunjukkan pemahaman dan keterampilan mitra meningkat sebesar 90%. Luaran dari program pengabdian adalah kue serabi toping udang dan pengemasan produk dan stiker.Abstract: Vaname shrimp production is directly sold without any shrimp processing as other products that can add added value. This PKM aims to improve the skills of housewives in diversifying processed vaname shrimp into quality, nutritious and high-value processed food products so as to increase income. The method used begins with providing material through socialization, training, direct practice, and mentoring and evaluation. The service partners are housewives who own shrimp ponds in Bonto Perak Village, totaling 15 people. The results of the implementation of this community service are processed pancake products with vaname shrimp topping are very promising to be used as a business and make creative economic products that will increase household income. Partners are also skilled in packaging with plastic mica and stickers to increase attractiveness. Evaluation results showed that partners' understanding and skills increased by 90%. The outputs of the service program are shrimp topping pancakes and product packaging and stickers.

Abstract

Kemiskinan merupakan permasalahan kompleks yang dihadapi oleh berbagai daerah di Indonesia termasuk di Sulawesi Selatan. Pertumbuhan ekonomi sering dianggap sebagai faktor utama dalam menurunkan kemiskinan, sementara Indeks pembangunan manusia mencerminkan kualitas sumber daya manusia yang berperan dalam meningkatkan kesejahteraan masyarakat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh pertumbuhan ekonomi dan indeks pembangunan manusia terhadap kemiskinan.Penelitian ini menggunakan data sekunder dari Badan Pusat Statistik (BPS) dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah model regresi linier berganda. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pertumbuhan ekonomi tidak memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap tingkat kemiskinan. Sebaliknya, Indeks Pembangunan Manusia memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap tingkat kemiskinan di Sulawesi Selatan.

Abstract

This study aims to determine how regional financial management performance during the Fiscal Decentralization Era affects the economic growth of Makassar City from 2013 to 2024. This study uses a quantitative descriptive analysis method, with calculations of the financial independence ratio, PAD effectiveness ratio, expenditure efficiency ratio, and revenue growth ratio, and continues with multiple linear regression. The results of the study show that the financial independence ratio is at an average of 65.26% which means participation; the PAD effectiveness ratio is at an average of 83.7% which means quite effective; the expenditure efficiency ratio is at an average of 98.8% which means less efficient, and the revenue growth ratio is at 5.66% with a moderate category. The results of statistical tests show that there is a positive and significant influence of the regional financial independence ratio and the PAD effectiveness ratio on economic growth, whereas the expenditure efficiency ratio and the revenue growth ratio have a negative and insignificant influence on economic growth in Makassar City.
