Abstract

Premarital education for students is considered necessary because, at this time, a person must be prepared to enter married life. Premarital education is one of the preparations that can be done by early adults in marriage and has a goal in preventing divorce. This study aims to formulate a hypothetical comprehensive guidance and counselling program to improve students' self-readiness in facing marriage and family life. This type of research is development research or Research and Development methods, namely research strategies used to produce specific products. This research will be conducted at Padang State University, namely to students of Special Education, Faculty of Education. The results of this study are (1) In general, special education department’s students of the Faculty of Education, Padang State University, as early adults, have less interest in preparing for their marriage. (2) The comprehensive premarital guidance and counselling model for students developed in this study is formulated from a theoretical framework based on field findings, consisting of 7 rational components, key concepts, vision & mission, model objectives, the content of guidance and counselling, control, and organization & personnel. (3) Based on the model validation test conducted by three counsellors on the General Guidelines for the Development of Comprehensive Premarital Guidance and Models for Students, it shows that the contents of the general guidelines are categorized as suitable or adequate.

Abstract

The unpreparedness of parents in taking care of the interests of children with autism will make children continue backward and not ready for the future. In such conditions, it is necessary to support for parents in caring for children with autism. This study was conducted aiming to provide support to parents of children with autism so that the problems arising from the existence of an autistic child can be minimized or even eliminated together. In addition, this research can also be used as a reference for parents who have children with autism in an effort to maintenance and cure children with autism. This research is a qualitative descriptive study. Qualitative research is considered more appropriate to determine the family counseling program for parents who have children with autism in the Autism Institute YPPA Padang. The approach used in this study is deemed appropriate for understanding and motivating parents of children with autism with all complexity as subjective beings.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the problems found in five students with learning difficulties in grade two. This study aims to prove the effectiveness of the SILABA method in improving beginning reading skills for children with learning difficulties. This study used an experimental method in the form of a pre-experimental design or a quasi-experimental with the type of one-group pretest-posttest design. This research conducted pre-test, treatment, and post-test. The treatment was given with the SILABA method and continued by giving a post-test to see the ability after treatment. The pre-test and post-test values were processed and compared using the Mann-Whitney to test the research hypothesis. The results of this study were obtained based on data analysis seen from the pre-test value. The data was processed using the Mann-Whitney test. It was obtained that Uhit = 2.5 and Utab = 2 with n = 5 at a significant level of 95% and = 0.05. The alternative hypothesis is accepted because Uhit > Utab, so it is proven that the SILABA method is effectively used to improve early reading skills for children with learning difficulties. Suggestions in this study are expected that schools can develop students’ initial reading skills using the SILABA.

Abstract

There are so many components that should be prepared well in teaching and learning process, one of them is media. Media has a function to attract the students' attention and help them understand the material easier. However, many teachers cannot used the media properly, especially for students with hearing impairment who had problem in doing subtraction. This was an experimental research with pre-experimental design or quasi experiment. The purpose of this research was to reveal the effect of using numerical card puzzles and know the differences between two different variables. The design was one group pre-test posttest which control class was also experimental class. The research was conducted at class V with five students who have hearing impairment. The sample was chosen by using a total sampling method. The data was analyzed by using Mann Whitney with 95% and α= 0.005.The research result shows that: first, the students learning results were low when the teacher use blackboard as media. Second, student’s learning results improved significantly when the teacher used numerical card puzzles. The test showed that Ucount= 25 and Utable = 8. Based on the test, the hypothesis is accepted with Ucount ≥ Utable can be concluded that numerical card puzzles is effective to improve student with hearing impairment.

Abstract

Pendidikan pranikah merupakan salah satu persiapan yang dapat dilakukan oleh dewasa awal di dalam pernikahan serta memiliki tujuan dalam mencegah perceraian. Berdasarkan hal tersebut maka penelitian ini bertujuan merumuskan program hipotetik bimbingan dan konseling komprehensif untuk meningkatkan kesiapan diri mahasiswa dalam menghadapi pernikahan dan hidup berkeluarga. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian pengembangan atau metode Research dan Development yakni strategi penelitian yang digunakan untuk menghasilkan produk tertentu. Penelitian ini akan dilakukan di Universitas Negeri Padang yaitu kepada mahasiswa Pendidikan Luar Biasa, Fakultas Ilmu Pendidikan. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah: (1) Secara umum mahasiswa PLB Fakultas Fakultas Ilmu Pendidikan, Universitas Negeri Padang sebagai sosok dewasa awal kurang memiliki minat untuk mempersiapkan pernikahannya. (2) Model bimbingan dan konseling komprehensif pranikah bagi mahasiswa yang dikembangkan dalam penelitian ini dirumuskan dari kerangka kerja yang berlandaskan pada teori dan didasarkan dari temuan lapangan, terdiri dari 7 komponen rasional, konsep kunci, visi & misi, tujuan model, isi bimbingan dan konseling, pengendalian, dan organisasi & personalia. (3) Berdasarkan uji validasi model yang dilakukan oleh tiga konselor terhadap materi menunjukkan bahwa isi pedoman umum tersebut dikatagorikan baik atau memadai

Abstract

Berdasarkan permasalahan yang ditemukan di kelas IV di SD N 01 Limau Manis Padang beberapa anak memiliki nilai rendah dalam kemampuan operasi pengurangan. Saat mengerjakan soal pengurangan, anak masih salah dalam mengurangi kecil ke besar. Ketika mengurangi dari kecil ke besar dibalik menjadi besar ke kecil tanpa meminjam.Anak diskalkulia memiliki kelemahan dalam belajar matematika. Kesulitan yang dimiliki anak tentang pengurangan adalah konsep dasar matematika. Penting bagi anak untuk memahami konsep pengurangan. Salah satu komponen penting dalam pembelajaran yaitu media pembelajaran. Saat pembelajaran, guru dapat menggunakan media dalam memberikan materi termasuk belajar matematika. Alternatif yang harus dilakukan untuk membantu meningkatkan kemampuan pengurangan anak diskalkulia, salah satunyamedia puzzle kartu angka. Media puzzle kartu angka adalah permainan bongkar padang diadaptasi dari materi pengurangan puluhan dengan teknik meminjam. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan media puzzle kartu angka efektif untuk meningkatkan kemampuan pengurangan bagi anak diskalkulia kelas IV SD N 01 Limau Manis Padang.

Abstract

Berdasarkan permasalahan yang ditemui dikleas IX/C di SLB Luki Padang. Peneliti melihat anak tidak merasa asing dengan proses pembelajaran keterampilan dengan media polibag. . Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membutikan efektifitas metode proyek dalam keterampilan menanam sawi hidroponik wick system. Penelitian ini mengunakan metode eksperimen dalam bentuk pre-experimental design dengan jenis one group pretest-postest design dengan sampel lima orang siswa anak tunagrahita ringan. Teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi. Alat pengumpulan data mengunakan instrumen tes perbuatan, diuji mengunakan uji U Mann Whitney. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan rata-rata pencapaian siswa tunagrahita ringan saat pretest dengan skor rata-rata 52 dan saat postest meningkat dengan skor rata-rata 77,8. Selanjutnya data diolah mengunakan uji U Mann Whitney. Diperoleh Uhit 5 dan Utab 4 dengan N 5 pada taraf signifikan 95% dan α = 0,05. Sehingga hipotesis diterima karena Uhit > Utab. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa metode proyek efektif dalam meningkakan keterampilan menanam sawi hidroponik wick sytem.

Abstract

Artikel ini bertujuan untuk membahas efektivitas keterampilan membaca pemahaman untuk anak berkesulitan belajar. Melalui metode survey, question, read, recite, reflect, review (SQ4R) anak dilatih pemahaman membaca dengan langkah-langkah untuk mendapatkan informasi yang menyeluruh. The type of research that researchers use is experimental method with pre-experimental design with one group pretest-posttest design. Implementation in this study using Mann Whitney test. Berdasarkan hasil yang didapat menyatakan bahwa SQ4R secara signifikan dapat meningkatkan keterampilan membaca pemahaman untuk anak berkesulitan belajar.

Abstract

Education is a basic right that every child in general must have without exception. Academic, social and emotional abilities can develop well through education. The curriculum used in Indonesia at the moment was the 2013 curriculum. One of the schools that carries out educational activities was the Extraordinary School (SLB). SLB was one of the place whom expected to develop the development of mentally retarded children. Through Special School, mentally retarded children got academic and non-academic education that suits their needs. One of the skills that must be taught is the ability to brush your teeth. Retarded students in the moderate category still find it difficult to brushed parts of teeth that were located inside such as right and left teeth and inner teeth. In addition to the position of the teeth, the frequency and time of tooth brushing was also a problem for the mentally retarded child. based on the activities that have been carried out, it appears that the ability of teachers to brush their teeth has improved, this is expected to help their students to brush their teeth properly.

Abstract

The Influence of Learning Motivation and independence of Learning on the result OF Communication Business Learning Class X Business Daring and Marketing SMK Negeri 3 Padang Academic Year 2018/2019. The analytical method used is multiple regression analysis using the SPSS 25 program. This research wants understands whether there are: 1) the Influence of Learning Motivation and Independence of Learning together with the result of communication business learning Class X Business Daring and Marketing SMK Negeri 3 Padang Academic Year 2018/2019, 2) the Influence of Learning Motivation on the result of  Communication Business Learning, 3) the influence of  independence of Learning on the result of  Communication Business Learning.Keywords: learning motivation, learning independence
