Abstract

With the development of mobile technology is not only used as a telephone and sms only, but also can be used as a device to control a robot, as well as Android smartphones are already embedded computer features. Robot technology so can be controlled remotely and the desired user. Robot technology is also one that is able to assist the work of humans, such as the draining of human work, as well as having a high risk. Robot function which was made to minimize the risk associated with large heavy physical tasks, positioning an object, and to move goods from one place to another. Therefore designed a robot movers using a servo motor output arm movement, microcontroller as the brain, Bluetooth as a communication medium to send a data or input from the Android application that acts as a device for controlling a robot remotely.

Abstract

A weather monitoring station that is simple and able to take the data of weather conditions parameters can be used to determine the local weather conditions at a point place. The process of data transmission between monitoring station weather conditions can be done by utilizing a wireless communication (wireless) network or the Internet. using DHT11 sensor, BMP180 and LDR to measure weather parameters, among which temperature, humidity, light intensity, air pressure and altitude. With Prototype research methods can provide ideas for the maker and potential users on how the system will function in full shape. The concept of Embedded Systems is growing very rapidly with the number of devices that carry the concept. Embedded System is a computer system with a specific purpose, which is entirely incorporated into the device you want to control. One development tool that brings this concept is Arduino Yun. Arduino that has been equipped with an Atheros AR9331 support for troubleshooting Ethernet networks. In Atheros AR9331 processor has been equipped with Linino OS (based on OpenWRT Linux) to assist in data communications in WiFi or Wire. Embedded systems Yun Arduino microcontroller can be connected with a local WiFi network. With its ability Arduino Yun can send output to the internet via social networks like Facebook. Through Temboo can easily send outputs on Facebook, using Facebook Library which had been prepared by a special Temboo for Arduino Yun and APIs (Application Programming Interfaces). The result is a prototype weather station that can be viewed directly on Facebook as a status within one hour.

Abstract

The widespread use of smartphones in all societies make increasing demands of smartphone accessories tools for ease of its use in everyday life. As if the user is in public, attending a meeting, or are driving a motor vehicle. Apart from the rapid use of smartphone technology on society, there is also the technology in the field of microcontroller that can be said to be rapid development in people's daily life, namely that a module arduino microcontroller. Therefore, we need a microcontroller-based devices that can help the user to display the condition of smartphones such as the presence of incoming messages or incoming calls to the smartphone, small size and can be implemented in accordance with the user's work. By using prototypes in the process of designing a simple model that can represent the actual future results and methods of the blackbox for testing this tool to determine whether the software and hardware to work properly and has been as expected. Can produce a device that functions as a media notification for smartphones such as short messages and incoming calls, and has an interface OLED Display. It can help users Smartphone in everyday life.

Abstract

Robot mampu mengerjakan tugas sesuai dengan program yang dimasukkan ke dalam ‘chip’ sebagai otaknya. Secara umum, sistem kendali robot dilakukan ditempat di mana robot itu berada. Permasalahannya adalah bagaimana jika pemilik robot berada pada jarak yang jauh bahkan berbeda benua dengan robot yang dimiliki tetapi harus tetap bisa untuk mengendalikan robot tersebut. Dengan perkembangan teknologi informasi dan komunikasi menjawab tantangan long distance control system (pengendalian sistem jarak jauh), robot sebagai salah satu icon sistem otomasi tidak hanya dapat dikendalikan secara lokal tetapi mampu dikontrol jarak jauh (remote) dengan menggunakan jaringan internet. Untuk pengontrolan jarak jauh dikembangkan proyek robot yang dapat dikendalikan dari komputer (laptop / notebook) melalui jaringan internet yang diberinama ROBIN (Robot IP Network). Interface pengontrolan dilakukan melalui website untuk menggerakkan robot maju, mundur, kiri dan kanan. Web control dibuat berbasis HTML dilengkapi dengan flash dan javascript. Komunikasi wireless memanfaatkan access point yang di tempatkan pada robot. TCP/IP Starter Kit sebagai penghubung antara website dengan robot berfungsi menerjemahkan perintah yang dikirimkan oleh web untuk dieksekusi mikrokontroller. Antara robot dan pengontrol (Laptop / Notebook), masing – masing diberikan alamat identitas sehingga keduanya dapat saling berkomunikasi. ROBIN merupakan sebuah prototype robot yang pergerakannya dikontrol sebuah website melalui jaringan internet.

Abstract

A student can make the payment of tuition fees by bank transfer mechanism and only takes a few seconds to send money from one account to another account. But sometimes the payment of tuition fees is not always through the transfer, there is also the payment must come to the checkout or cashier. At this time information technology has become more advanced, the activity came to the counter and make payment by way of queuing is an activity that is uncomfortable and a waste of time. Perguruan Tinggi Raharja payment systems still use manual way is to make payments directly to the cashier in this case LKM (Layanan Keuangan Mahasiswa), and often long queues at the deadline for payment. It is necessary for the proper solution of an information system in addressing the queue. This research is to design and create an information system that aims to help parse avoid long queues at the time of payment in the LKM. The design study began on the process of data collection, analysis of the problem, designing a program using the PHP language (Hypertext Prepocessor), MySQL database with prototype research methods. Results from this study in the form of a monitoring system that can monitor the movement queuing number of students so that when the queue no longer need to stand in front of the LKM, students can perform other activities and only occasionally see on the display the number the number of students queued.

Abstract

Akhir-akhir ini sering terjadi bencana kebakaran dengan berbagai sebab, dan yang menjadi kendala adalah terlambatnya kedatangan petugas pemadam kebakaran sehingga dapat menimbulkan kerugian yang besar. Keterlambatan ini disebabkan oleh kurang cepatnya informasi kebakaran sampai kepada instansi pemadam kebakaran dan tidak diketahui dengan tepat di mana lokasi kebakaran tersebut terjadi. Untuk memecahkan permasalahan tersebut maka dirancang suatu sistem yang dapat menampilkan informasi letak lokasi kebakaran pada PC (Personal Computer) sehingga informasi diperoleh secara real time. Mikrokontroler AT89S52 merupakan suatu IC (Integrated Circuit) yang digunakan sebagai interface antara receiver dan transmitter yang dihubungkan pada komputer. Pada rancangan ini receiver dan transmitter yang digunakan menggunakan IC SM6135 dan SM6136. Untuk komunikasi data antara PC dengan Interface maka dibuat suatu program menggunakan Visual Basic 6.0. Hasil dari rancangan ini adalah suatu prototype yang dapat mensimulasikan kebakaran yang terjadi secara real time dan menampilkannya melalui GUI (Graphical User Interface).

Abstract

Nowadays, utilizing surviellence cameras was very popular because is user friendly and it has many usefull as a monitoring and as a part of security system at home, institution, office, etc. The existing surviellence camera using computer as a control system and as a media storage so it’s need a energy and high cost for implementation. Surveillance cameras are designed using the Raspberry Pi B, PIR sensor, webcam Logitech C 170, SD Card, Twitter, Raspbian operating system, and python programming. Automatic input data is performed by PIR sensor that will be detected human around of range area frequently. Output 3.3 - 5 volt (High) will be generated when sensor detected the human around of range area. Otherwise 0 volts output ( Low) will be generated when sensor not detected the human around of range area frequently. Then, The input will be processing by Raspberry Pi using python programming that has made to a command to capture or not.implemetation outcome is a surveillance camera that will capture image in (.jpg) format when the input system detected human around of range frequently. Capture result will save to SD Card that have integrated system. Then the sistem will provide immediately report the situation in a real-time notification through a twitter application device.

Abstract

Process monitoring conventional parking area is currently still using manual way to know the number and availability of existing capacity in the parking area, the monitoring process carried out in several ways such as recording the number of vehicles entering and see firsthand the state of the vehicle that was parked. The conventional method is certainly cause some problems for both the parking attendant and the owner of the vehicle, where these obstacles include the difficulty to obtain accurate information about the number of parking slots are available as well as difficult to know where to position the parking slot. Automatic parking monitoring system uses a microcontroller arduino uno as a data processor which utilizes multiple types of sensors are placed at some point areas, where the use of these sensors function as an input device that later processed with output an instruction to the servo motor and also the appearance of an information on an LCD screen that displays information about the number of parking slots are available as well as the location of the parking slot. In addition to using the LCD, the tool is also equipped with two indicator lights that show the status of the parking area and a buzzer will sound as a form of notification to the officer and the owner of the vehicle that the state of the car parking area has full.

Abstract

In general, the process of delivering food is still done traditionally, for example food vendors in the cafeteria by way of delivering food orders and bringing food using the hands of food vendors to the buyer's table. Food delivery is traditionally considered ineffective as food vendors have to walk back and forth to deliver food and leave other jobs. For that we need to designed a system of food delivery robot useful for the seller to help deliver food, The prototype design of food delivery robot using Arduino Mega microcontroller, the robot has a place to put food, and able to walk with the DC motor on the wheel. For movement of the robot body direction using a single servo motor and ethernet shield and TP-Link as a communication bridge between Web Browser with Arduino Mega. Web Browser has a function as a user interface that can be used by food vendors to control the robot. The existence of prototype food delivery robot is expected to help the activities of delivering food made by food vendors well so that food vendors can do other more mainstream jobs

Abstract

Dramaga Research Forest, located in the outskirt of Bogor, provides a good habitat for birds. This research was aimed to study bird diversity, identifying habitat characteristics (around the forest path, along house edge, riparian habitat and the interior area) and recorded the activities of the local people around the forest. Point count, MacKinnon list, habitat profiling and interviews were conducted. The highest index of species diversity (Shannon-Wiener index) was at interior area (2.34), followed by around the forest path (2.21), along house edge (1.97) and riparian habitat (1.86). The highest species richness was at riparian habitat (27 species), the forest path had 21 species, along house edge had 26 species, while the interior area was a home for 21 bird species. The highest similarity (0.81) was between forest path and interior area. On the activities of the local people, the most often was firewood harvesting. Other activities were hunting for cage birds, harvesting ferns, harvesting wild fruit and harvesting ant larvae. Activity that might disrupt the bird population was hunting. Keywords: Diversity,Dramaga Research Forest, human activities.
