Abstract

Abstract: Perpustakaan Bank Indonesia Surabaya  is a growing library company in Surabaya. The problem is, a lot of competitors threaten the sales position of Perpustakaan Bank Indonesia Surabaya. During this, media campaign that used by Perpustakaan Bank Indonesia Surabaya does not have concept design. The low awareness of the importance the media campaign, create a high probability of customers moving to another library. Media campaigns are very important to build brand equity. Therefore, it is necessary to increase customer aware by doing branding and maintenance customers through the media campaign to maintain the position of Perpustakaan Bank Indonesia Surabaya from the competitors. The design is done by observation, interviews, depth interviews, and literature studies using qualitative-descriptive analysis and supported by existing analysis, SWOT and STP obtained brilliant concept that is used in overall design. The concept of brilliant implemented using product photo illustration of Perpustakaan Bank Indonesia Surabaya. Unique concept realized by unique form of media, while the brilliant concept realized from the arrangement of layout and color selection. Abstract

Abstract: Folklore Kastoba Lake is famous for the unique and believable as the stories that educate because were able to build and nurture local cultural values. The problem is, this story is getting increasingly rarely heard people, particularly children. Therefore, this research aims to create a book illustration-based pop up about Kastoba Lake Bawean folklore as an attempt to introduce local cultural products for children. The creation of this book using qualitative research with observation, interviewing, documentation, and existing studies are useful to define the concept of research. From the analysis results obtained the theme concept of creation that is mysterious. In that concept is a big part of the theme of the creation of this book, either from the story, the characters, the used clothing models and others. Need to be held in an attempt to attract interest read the kids against local culture folklore Kastoba Lake e.g. Bawean with different packing one of these with a book-based pop-up illustrations devoted to children and with the expectation of this pop-up book can become a media to popularize and revive Kastoba Lake folklore of Bawean to the General surrounding community as well as the Bawean especially children. Keywords: Mintage, book illustration, pop-ups, Bawean Kastoba Lake, Local Culture, Mysterious

Abstract

Abstract: The aim of the design was to Trowulan branding preserve local cultural heritage. Research conducted using qualitative research methods, namely by doing interviews, observation, documentation, library and study to get the data used as the supporter of the creation of the concept design of branding. The data were analyzed by using multiple stages, namely the reduction of the data, the presentation of data, and conclusions. From the analysis of the data found few keyword refers to the communication strategy of branding that will be used to achieve the target the intended audience. After analysis of the data, the found a concept or design branding keywords i.e. "Grandeur". The description of the concept of "Grandeur" is a form of real will be the heritage of Majapahit in Trowulan. In this case the "Grandeur" or oversize evidence of Majapahit in Trowulan existing directed at how to maintain the local cultural heritage in the form of cultural heritage that is packaged by making cultural heritage that exists in Trowulan as a point of interest in the various media used to promote Trowulan. Abstract: Seeing the development of modern times currently still many old buildings in Surabaya one of which is building the mosque. The problem, of the old buildings not much known by the society. This is because not many media who publishes, especially through a book. In fact an old building is culture of the nation heritage that must be preserved so that known by next generations. See the background of the city of Surabaya known as a historic city of Surabaya of course have many cultural heritage , one of them is the mosque. The mosque is the place of worship for muslims and not a few also building mosque in surabaya who are categorized as old mosque. With age who are too old is certainly old mosque existing in surabaya having value of history and the philosophy behind the founding of the building and it cannot be forgotten offhand particularly by residents of the city of Surabaya own. In these research indicated that there are 3 mosque, mosque namely Rahmat Kembang Kuning mosque, Jami’ Peneleh mosque, and Agung Sunan Ampel mosque which is considered old mosque built in the XV century in Surabaya.  Keywords: Old Mosque, Cultural Heritage, Reference Book, Design, Preservation.

Abstract

Abstract: Planktoon known as Planktoon Fingerboard, is a company engaged in the field of life style product that has specifications field in fingerboard. Fingerboard is a skateboard’s miniature that made in the same detail as the size of the original skateboard, but it has smaller size to make it more comfortable in play using the fingers. Planktoon founded in 2009, exactly 23 October 2009, from there began the management system created for branding fingerboard with pride. Planktoon brand name, logo and stationery set has been made yet before, but Planktoon has not had a mascot, just like brand competitors from Planktoon. Therefore in order to improve the image of Planktoon. Mascot hopefully can educate consumers and increase Planktoon’s brand image. Designing qualitative method with interviews, observation, and existing studies to find a formula for the design concepts underlying the design of the mascot, the data analysis found a variety of unique and how branding brand with mascots that have not been known by the public, so consumers are not only given a new product continuously without any explanation interesting, with mascot be easier for consumers to understand about Planktoon. After analyzing the concepts found and a name for the mascot design Planktoon  the "Smile", which means a character who has a cheerful soul, friendly, and the helper soul. The name of  Planktoon’s mascot is "Mr. Toon". Abstract: The goal of the design campaign advertising Adiwiyata Gresik is to raise awareness of the environment in the school district. Further research was conducted using qualitative research methods that do interviews, observation, documentation, and literature to obtain the data used to support the manufacture of the design concept of the ad campaign. Data were analyzed using several stages, namely data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion. After analyzing the data, found a design concept or keyword advertising campaign is "Truly". Description of "Truly" is a being who really or actually owned. The concept of "Truly" aims to show that Gresik is the region that has the identity of environmentally education. That is, the concept of truly presented to instill public perception that environmentally education in Indonesia is Gresik. Abstract: Many things are done by a region to promote tourism destinations, one of which is nature in Jombang district, in addition to a district that is still relatively young, the potential of nature tourism in Jombang many interesting and should be developed. Tourism in Jombang district is still lacking in the promotion process, especially in nature, as evidenced by the lack of recognition of Jombang society itself will be natural tourism potential, because Jombang still less famous with its religious tour. Nature in Jombang district need to be considered, because the actual natural scenery in Jombang not inferior to nature in other cities, nature in Jombang need for recognition because there are still many who do not know the existence of destinations attractive tourist district Jombang.Jombang district turned out to have some interesting natural attractions, some of the natural attractions in the region Jombang district obtained the data from http://jombangkab.go.id among others such as Tretes waterfall, Goa Sigolo-Golo, and Kedung Cinet. Abstract: CV. Prawara Dwi Persada is a company that runs in the field of architecture and interior design. This newcomer company that runs in business of architecture, need an effort to build a strong identity and image in order to create brand awareness of the company. Then, the act of rebranding as an effort to create brand awareness with the creation of a new identity and promotional media such as a logo for the company, stationery sets, print ads, and website is necessary. The purpose of this final assignment is to rebranding CV. Prawara Dwi Persada which will adjust the vision and mission of the company and provide a fresh visual appearance than previous branding. To be able producing draft and appropriate design, it takes several stages such as interviews, observation, data collection, the creative strategy from CV. Prawara Dwi Persada and then continued to the process of designing. The keywords that has been obtained from these stages is the "treasure". This final assignment report produces logo, print media advertising, stationery sets, and a website, which will be submitted to the company owner of CV. Abstract: Dalang mask has the sense of a traditional theater performing arts puppet resembling those in which each actor to use as a mask facepiece, and all the dialogue is controlled by the puppeteer. Abstract: Mesatua Bali is a tradition of storytelling  the Parents to Children. However ,  currently Mesatua Bali The culture began to shift because influence of foreign culture and It is rare even society the  apply culture of Masatua Bali. Hence this study aims to the creation pop-up books Mesatua Bali titled “I Lubdhaka” with pull tab techniques as aneffort to preservation the traditional culture. he study was conducted using with qualitative research methods is to conduct interviews, observation , documentation and literature book study to meet the needs of the data used as materials for concepts the creation pop-up books Mesatua Bali. Through the data analysis is done by a few keywords that are capable of supporting a creative strategy in the creation pop-up books Mesatua Bali to achieve the goal target audience. From the data analysis , the author found the concept “Swadharma”.
