Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh komunikasi dan motivasi terhadap peningkatan kinerja pegawai Kantor Badan Pertanahan Nasional Medan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa variabel komunikasi tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja pada Kantor Badan Pertanahan Nasional Medan. Variabel motivasi berpengaruh nyata terhadap kinerja pada Kantor Badan Pertanahan Nasional Medan. Secara serempak, variabel komunikasi dan motivasi berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja pada Kantor Badan Pertanahan Nasional Medan. Namun perubahan kinerja dapat dijelaskan oleh perubahan variabel komunikasi dan motivasi relatif kecil sebesar 26,2%.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui seberapa besar pengaruh lingkungan kerja dan komitmen perusahaan terhadap kinerja karyawan pada PT. Toba Pulp Lestari Tbk. Penelitian ini menggunakan karyawan dari PT. Toba Pulp Lestari Tbk sebagai responden penelitian sebesar 72 responden. Metode pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner dan observasi. Metode analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis regresi linier berganda untuk mengetahui kekuatan hubungan variabel bebas terhadap variabel terikat. Lingkungan kerja secara parsial berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan. Komitmen secara parsial berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan. Lingkungan kerja dan komitmen secara simultan berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan. Berdasarkan hasil uji koefisien determinasi dengan menggunakan R-Square diperoleh hasil bahwa kontribusi lingkungan kerja dan komitmen dalam mempengaruhi kinerja karyawan adalah sebesar 61.9%.

Abstract

Motivasi merupakan dorongan dari dalam diri pegawai untuk mencapai suatu tujuan. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh motivasi kerja internal dan eksternal terhadap prestasi kerja. Survei dilakukan pada karyawan Bank Indonesia di Medan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa motivasi kerja internal dan eksternal berpengaruh terhadap prestasi kerja. Perusahan harus terus memotivasi karyawannya agar karyawan menunjukkan prestasi kerja yang menunjang pencapaian tujuan organisasi.

Abstract

The aim of this study was to determine the purpose of the implementation of the Health BPJS policy on Puskemas services (type of care) in Medan. Statistical analyses in this study were published: validity and reliability test, classic assumption test, factor analysis, SEM analysis, model suitability test, hypothesis test using software SmartPLS ver 3.2.1. R-Square value of 0.642 calculated the model is strong enough, means that the variable implementation of the health policy BPJS (X) which is able to be approved by the service variable Puskesmas (Y) of 64.20%. The results on the path coefficient appear as variables implementing BPJS health policies (X) have a positive relationship with the service variable Puskesmas (Y) with a coefficient value of 0.802 and show a significant influence on Puskesmas service (Y) with a significant p-value of 0,000. The p-value is smaller than the alpha value (5%). Associated with variables that implement health BPJS (X) policies affect positively and significant to the Puskesmas (Y) service variable.

Abstract

Community Service aims to foster micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) is to provide input on what businesses can be developed in accordance with the conditions in the environment and in accordance with current conditions, namely the Covid 19 pandemic that has hit the city of Medan and the world in general. The community that will be trained are people who live in Environment IV, Sidomulio Village, Medan Tuntungan District, totaling 25 people whose livelihoods are as farmers and as farm laborers. The availability of adequate academics in giving lectures on the Development of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) at the Management Study Program, Faculty of Economics, Indonesian Methodist University, the enthusiasm of the participants, the support of the Village Head and the Head of the Environment for the implementation of activities and supporting funds from UMI are supporting the implementation of this PPM activity. The problem is the limited time for coaching. It is hoped that this training will benefit the community. The benefits that participants get from this PPM activity include being able to understand and develop micro, small, and medium enterprises.

Abstract

Community service aims to provide guidance to teachers in carrying out the tasks of the teaching and learning process. In this case, the method used is the lecture, discussion, and question and answer method. Through this, many inputs were obtained, including the characteristics of quality schools and of course quality human resources are needed, especially with the Covid 19 pandemic that has hit the city of Medan and the world in general. Quality school management starts from the principal, teachers, investment in finance and adequate infrastructure.

Abstract

Community Service aims to provide understanding and the importance of collaborating in entrepreneurship in Lumban Pea Timur Village, Toba Regency. In this case, the method used is the lecture, discussion, and question and answer method. Through this, there are many ways that can be done to collaborate in developing a business or entrepreneur. In this meeting, it is known what business is being carried out, what business will be carried out and what problems are faced in developing an entrepreneur. In the end, it was discovered that the most pressing problem in recent times is business capital and the need for a regional regulation to support and protect businesses.

Abstract

Community Service is one of the Tri Dharma of Higher Education and this activity is very beneficial to the community and to the lecturers who carry out these activities. The Lecturers of the Faculty of Economics, Management Study Program carried out this activity at the Damai Prosperous Community Self-Reliance Agency (BKM) in Sukaraja Village - Medan Maimun District with the topic "Tips for Starting a New Business". The method used is lectures and guided discussions. The conclusions that can be formulated are the need to know the reasons for having a business, what to think about when opening a business, types of business fields that have prospects in the future, various successful strategies for starting a business venture, high enthusiasm is needed to become an entrepreneur, and practical matters in starting a business, as well as what competencies an entrepreneur/entrepreneur must have

Abstract

Produktivitas tenaga kerja merupakan suatu kaitan antara output yakni hasil kerja dengan waktu yang dibutuhkan untuk menghasilkan produk oleh seorang tenaga kerja. Salah satu faktor yang mempengaruhi  produktifitas kerja adalah budaya organisasi. Budaya organisasi adalah suatu sistem nilai yang diperoleh dan dikembangkan oleh organisasi dan pola kebiasaan dan falsafah dasar pendirinya, yang terbentuk menjadi aturan yang digunakan sebagai pedoman dalam berpikir dan bertindak dalam mencapai tujuan organisasi. Jenis penelitian ini merupakan penelitian survei dengan pendekatan kuantitatif  asosiatif. Tujuan peneltiian adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh budaya organisasi terhadap produktifitas kerja pegawai. Populasi penelitian adalah pegawai Kantor Camat Medan Baru sebanyak 65 orang dan penentuan sampel menggunakan metode total sampling sehingga terdapat  65 sampel. Metode pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner dan analisis data menggunakan regresi linier sederhana. Hasil penelitian membuktikan bahwa budaya organisasi memberi pengaruh signifikan terhadap  produktifitas kerja pegawai.  Hal ini diindikasikan oleh nilai t-hitung X (10.630) > t-tabel (2.00) dan p-value (0,000). Kepada Kantor Camat Medan Baru Medan disarankan untuk lebih  memperhatikan faktor faktor yang dapat memperkuat budaya kerja sehingga sehingga produktifitas kerja pegawai dapat lebih dimaksimalkan.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the Effectiveness of Cost Control and Working Capital Turnover on Profitability at PT. Perkebunan Nusantara IV (Persero) Medan for the 2017-2019 period. The financial ratios used in this study are Cost Control Effectiveness as measured by the ratio of Operational Costs and Operating Income (BOPO), Working Capital Turnover and Profitability as measured by Return on Assets (ROA). The method of data analysis is descriptive qualitative. The results of the study, with a decrease in the company's BOPO ratio during the 2017-2019 period every year, is a good indication, because it gives an illustration that this company can reduce its operational costs. When analyzed from a financial management aspect, under such conditions, it means The company's financial performance in terms of working capital turnover ratio is not good. This should be immediately corrected by the company by improving working capital management. The ROA ratio of PT. Perkebunan Nusantara IV (Persero) Medan compared to the standard ratio contained in table 2.1, the ratio of this company is at a standard of <10% with unfavorable criteria.
