Abstract

This research aims to expand the triple helix strategy by involving various elements of society and non-profit institutions in order to realize innovation in the Development of Agrotourism Areas in Karo Regency.The Penta helix model in the development of agrotourism in Karo Regency are academics, society, government, media and business. The method of determining the sample was determined purposively (deliberately) in the agrotourism area in Karo Regency, North Sumatera Province. This sampling method using purposive sampling is a technique that is not based on random, regional or start but based on considerations that focus on certain goals. This study uses a qualitative approach, which means that research with its findings is not obtained from statistical procedures or forms of calculation that emphasize the essence of the phenomenon under study. The result of this study indicate that there are five institutions that play a role in the development of agrotourism in Karo Regency, namely: (1) Academics are University North Sumatera (USU), Indonesian Methodist University (UMI), Medan Area University (UMA), UMSU; (2) The community is a tourism-aware group; (3) The government is the village government, the agriculture office the tourism office; (4) Media, namely print media and online media; and (5) Banking (BRI, BNI).

Abstract

This study aims to determine and analyze the Effect of Motivation, Career Path and Work Discipline on the Performance of Employees of the Communication and Information Agency (DISKOMINFO) of Medan City. The research sample was 45 respondents. This research was conducted using quantitative research methods. The results showed that motivation, career path and work discipline In this study the data analysis technique used was multiple linear regression analysis which showed that partial motivation did not have a significant effect on employee performance at the Medan City DISKOMINFO Office, the career path partially had a positive and significant effect on employee performance at the Medan City DISKOMINFO Office, Work discipline partially has a positive and significant effect on employee performance at the Medan City DISKOMINFO Office. The hypothesis testing simultaneously shows that motivation, career path and work discipline together have a significant effect on employee performance at the Medan City DISKOMINFO Office with a significant probability of < 0.05 each and has an influence of 0.632 (63.2%).

Abstract

Human Resources (HR) are an important asset for every organization, including PT. Angkasa Pura II Silangit Airport, North Sumatra Province. Effective HR management through good leadership and proper training is essential to achieve organizational goals. This study aims to analyze the effect of leadership style and job training on employee performance at PT. Angkasa Pura II Silangit Airport, North Sumatra Province. Data were obtained through a questionnaire filled out by 64 respondents in July 2024, with a response rate of 100%. The results showed that timely job training and participatory leadership styles had a positive and significant impact on employee performance. Ticket sales data showed fluctuations from year to year, which was consistent with the lack of training and leadership style. A study of respondents showed that employee performance can be improved through the opportunity provided by leadership to convey input and complaints. Training that is relevant to operational needs and technological developments has been shown to improve employee competence and productivity. The conclusion of this study is that structured job training and good leadership style significantly improve employee performance at PT. Angkasa Pura II Silangit Airport, North Sumatra Province. Recommendations from this study include the importance of effective communication between management and employees and the development of ongoing training programs to maintain employee competence and motivation. It is hoped that the implementation of these strategies will optimize the overall performance of the organization

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine and analyze the influence of communication, individual characteristics and responsibilities on the performance of employees of Bappeda Kota Daerah Kota Pematang Siantar. The type of data is quantitative data with a saturated sample of 42 respondents. Communication has a positive and partially significant effect on the performance of Bappeda Kota Pematang Siantar employees. Individual characteristics partially have a positive and significant effect on the performance of Bappeda Kota Pematang Siantar employees. Partial responsibility has a positive and significant effect on the performance of Bappeda employees in Pematang Siantar City. This study concluded that communication, individual characteristics, responsibilities simultaneously have a positive and significant effect on the performance of employees of the Regional Planning, Research and Development Agency of Pematang Siantar City

Abstract

This study aims to determine and analyze work stress, job satisfaction, and organizational commitment to employee turnover intention at PT. Bank Sumut Head Office Medan. The type of data used in this study is a quantitative descriptive method. The research sample was 85 people. The analysis method used was multiple linear regression analysis. Based on the test results, it can be concluded that work stress is partially significant to turnover intention, work satisfaction is partially not significantly influential to turnover intention, and organizational commitment is not significantly influential. Work stress, job satisfaction, and organizational commitment significantly affect turnover intention. Work stress, job satisfaction, and organizational commitment can influence turnover intention by 63.2%; other variables or factors explain the remaining 42.8%.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh kualitas pelayanan terhadap loyalitas nasabah pada PT. Bank Sumut Medan Cabang Sukaramai. Jumlah sampel pada penelitian ini sebanyak 100 nasabah PT. Bank Sumut Medan Cabang Sukaramai. Variabel bebas dalam penelitian ini adalah kualitas pelayanan, sedangkan variabel terikat adalah loyalitas nasabah. Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan analisis regresi linier sederhana. Persamaan regresi Y=- 0.488+0.189X+e, yang mengandung arti bahwa semakin baik kualitas pelayanan yang diberikan Bank SUMUT Medan Cabang Sukaramai, maka akan semakin mampu meningkatkan loyalitas nasabah. Kualitas pelayanan berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap loyalitas nasabah, dengan nilai thitung sebesar 11.746 > nilai ttabel 1.984 atau nilai signifikansi sebesar 0.000 < alpha (0.05).

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis dan mengetahui pengaruh komitmen organisasi dan kompetensi karyawan terhadap kinerja karyawan pada PT. PLN (Persero) Unit Induk Pembangunan II Medan. Penelitian ini menggunakan 2 variabel independen yaitu komitmen organisasi dan kompetensi karyawan terhadap kinerja karyawan.Metode analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah uji validitas, reliabilitas, uji asumsi klasik, analisis linier berganda, uji t, uji F serta koefisien determinasi. Data yang digunakan adalah data primer dan data sekunder. Jumlah sampel dalam penelitian ini 70 orang. Pengolahan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan bantuan program SPSS 20.0 for Windows. Hasil uji regresi linier berganda maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa variabel kompetensi karyawan adalah variabel yang paling berpengaruh terhadap kinerja karyawan, dimana nilai koefisiennya sebesar 0,815. Berdasarkan hasil uji t yang telah dilaksanakan diperoleh hasil bahwa variabel komitmen organisasi dan kompetensi karyawan memiliki pengaruh positif dan signifikan secara parsial terhadap kinerja karyawan. Dari hasil tersebut maka diperoleh kesimpulan bahwa seluruh hipotesis alternatif diterima. Berdasarkan hasil uji F diperoleh nilai F hitung 125,812 dengan tingkat signifikansi 0,000, sedangkan nilai F tabel pada alpha 5% adalah 2,50. Oleh karena itu F hitung > F tabel dan tingkat signifikansinya 0,000 < 0,05 menunjukan bahwa komitmen organisasi dan kompetensi karyawan secara bersama-sama adalah positif dan signifikan berpengaruh terhadap kinerja karyawan. Berdasarkan hasil uji koefisien determinasi diperoleh hasil bahwa kontribusi nilai komitmen organisasi dan kompetensi karyawan adalah 79% sementara 21% adalah kontribusi variabel lain yang tidak termasuk dalam penelitian ini.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to analyze Entrepreneurship Orientation as well as Organization Culture's influence on management skills and also their impact on PT. MEBEL MEDAN performance simultaneously and partially. There were 105 employees in PT. MEBEL MEDAN which become the sample of this research. The method of analysis used in this experiment are Pearson Correlation and Path Analysis. The result of this research stated that Entrepreneurship Orientation directly affect management skills partially, however it does not affect directly on the employee performance. Organization Culture does not affect directly on management skills partially, but Organization Culture directly affect the company performance. Management skills have direct impact partially against company performance. Entrepreneurship Orientation, Organization Institution, and also Management skills have direct impact simultaneously on organizational performance.

Abstract

Gojek, dan Grab merupakan taksi berbasis aplikasi online yang saling berkompetisi di Kota Medan. Oleh karena itu, sangatlah penting untuk mengetahui penilaian pengguna atas pelayanan yang telah diberikan selama ini. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui penilaian pengguna atas pelayanan yang diberikan dan mengetahui faktor pelayanan yang dianggap penting oleh pengguna, tetapi belum baik dalam pelaksanaanya. Dengan menggunakan rumus Slovin, penelitian ini dilakukan dengan metode survey yang melibatkan 100 responden pelanggan Gojek, dan Grab. Dari informasi yang diperoleh melalui survey, data diolah oleh penulis dengan Analisis Kuadran (Importance Performance Analysis – IPA). Hasil Importance Performance Analysis menunjukan bahwa indikator kualitas pelayanan Reliability menempati kuadran A yang berarti pengguna merasa dimensi ini penting, akan tetapi pelaksanaannya masih kurang baik maka perlu adanya perhatian khusus untuk meningkatkan kinerja, sehingga dapat meningkatkan kepuasan pelanggan. Untuk dimensi Tangibles dan Dimensi Assurance berada pada Kuadran B, berarti pengguna merasa dimensi-dimensi ini penting dan kinerja perusahaan sudah baik sehingga pelaksanaanya perlu dipertahankan. Sedangkan Dimensi Responsiveness dan Dimensi Empathy berada pada kuadran C, ini berarti pengguna merasa dimensi-dimensi ini kurang penting dan kinerja perusahaan dirasakan belum cukup baik dalam pelaksanaanya. Maka, kesesuaian harapan pelanggan dan kinerja perusahaan atas kualitas pelayanan dan meningkatkan loyalitasnya dilakukan melalui pelatihan dan motivasi kepada pengemudi dengan sebelumnya telah diseleksi pada saat perekrutan karyawan.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui secara parsial dan simultan pengaruh motivasi dan pelatihan kerja terhadap kinerja karyawan pada PTPN IV Kebun Adolina. Jenis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah data deskriptif kuantitatif. Populasi dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 220 orang dan penentuan sampel dalam penelitian ini menggunakan rumus Slovin dengan estimator proporsi populasi (5%) sehingga diperoleh 142 sampel penelitian. Instrumen penelitian menggunakan kuesioner dan analisis data menggunakan regresi linier berganda. Hasil penelitian ini adalah bahwa motivasi dan pelatihan kerja secara simultan dan parsial berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan.
