Abstract

The purpose of community service activities is to implement the Tri Dharma of Higher Education and to contribute ideas and transfer technology to teaching staff at SMK Gelora Jaya Nusantara Medan. This service activity was carried out for 2 days. The training materials are Video Recording and Video Editing. The topic given in this training is the creation of online learning content. The material given is the use of Filmora X software. This topic is very much needed to equip teachers in preparing and delivering subject matter during this covid-19 pandemic. This topic was deliberately chosen considering that currently, teachers have difficulty in delivering subject matter face to face.

Abstract

The purpose of community service at HKBP Padang Bulan Elementary and Junior School is to provide input for teachers, principals, regarding efforts to improve teacher performance. Thus, teachers are expected to improve the quality of education. The efforts that can be taken are the establishment of institutions that foster the performance of teachers and education staff, supervision of school principals, teacher consultation activities, bringing in motivators, providing adequate facilities, and providing adequate welfare. Teachers are expected to develop themselves and always follow the changes that occur.

Abstract

Community Service aims to provide understanding and the importance of collaborating in entrepreneurship in Lumban Pea Timur Village, Toba Regency. In this case, the method used is the lecture, discussion, and question and answer method. Through this, there are many ways that can be done to collaborate in developing a business or entrepreneur. In this meeting, it is known what business is being carried out, what business will be carried out and what problems are faced in developing an entrepreneur. In the end, it was discovered that the most pressing problem in recent times is business capital and the need for a regional regulation to support and protect businesses.

Abstract

Community Service is one of the Tri Dharma of Higher Education and this activity is very beneficial to the community and to the lecturers who carry out these activities. The Lecturers of the Faculty of Economics, Management Study Program carried out this activity at the Damai Prosperous Community Self-Reliance Agency (BKM) in Sukaraja Village - Medan Maimun District with the topic "Tips for Starting a New Business". The method used is lectures and guided discussions. Abstract

This study aims to find out how much influence compensation, organizational culture, and leadership have on employee performance at PT. Nusantara Pekebunan II Bandar Klippa Garden, both partially and simultaneously, and how Work Satisfaction mediates it. The research method used was descriptive-quantitative. Research results Indirectly, compensation, organizational culture, and leadership's influence on performance can be mediated by job satisfaction. where the direct effect of compensation on employee performance is 0.261 while the indirect effect is 0.078, so it can be concluded that the direct effect of compensation on employee performance is higher than the indirect effect. The direct effect of organizational culture is 0.059 on employee performance, while the indirect effect is 0.021, so it can be concluded that the direct effect of organizational culture on employee performance is higher than the indirect effect. The direct effect of leadership is 0.355 on employee performance, while the indirect effect is 0.128, so it can be concluded that the direct effect of leadership on employee performance is higher than the indirect effect.

Abstract

This research aims to expand the triple helix strategy by involving various elements of society and non-profit institutions in order to realize innovation in the Development of Agrotourism Areas in Karo Regency.The Penta helix model in the development of agrotourism in Karo Regency are academics, society, government, media and business. The method of determining the sample was determined purposively (deliberately) in the agrotourism area in Karo Regency, North Sumatera Province. This sampling method using purposive sampling is a technique that is not based on random, regional or start but based on considerations that focus on certain goals. This study uses a qualitative approach, which means that research with its findings is not obtained from statistical procedures or forms of calculation that emphasize the essence of the phenomenon under study. The result of this study indicate that there are five institutions that play a role in the development of agrotourism in Karo Regency, namely: (1) Academics are University North Sumatera (USU), Indonesian Methodist University (UMI), Medan Area University (UMA), UMSU; (2) The community is a tourism-aware group; (3) The government is the village government, the agriculture office the tourism office; (4) Media, namely print media and online media; and (5) Banking (BRI, BNI).

Abstract

This study aims to determine and analyze the Effect of Motivation, Career Path and Work Discipline on the Performance of Employees of the Communication and Information Agency (DISKOMINFO) of Medan City. The research sample was 45 respondents. This research was conducted using quantitative research methods. The results showed that motivation, career path and work discipline In this study the data analysis technique used was multiple linear regression analysis which showed that partial motivation did not have a significant effect on employee performance at the Medan City DISKOMINFO Office, the career path partially had a positive and significant effect on employee performance at the Medan City DISKOMINFO Office, Work discipline partially has a positive and significant effect on employee performance at the Medan City DISKOMINFO Office. The hypothesis testing simultaneously shows that motivation, career path and work discipline together have a significant effect on employee performance at the Medan City DISKOMINFO Office with a significant probability of < 0.05 each and has an influence of 0.632 (63.2%).

Abstract

The purpose of this training is to increase the accounting knowledge of village heads and village officials so that they can record village financial transactions properly and accurately. There are several stages in conducting philanthropy: preparation, implementation, evaluation, and reporting. Findings from interviews with village heads and village officials regarding village financial management include: Planning Stage: At this stage, village heads and village organizations identify local problems and respond to community suggestions through the Village Consultative Body (BPD) and community leaders. Implementation Stage: After the activity implementation file is complete, the activity implementation file is ready to be submitted. Administration Stage: The treasurer must report how much his income and expenses are and detail what the funds are used for. Reporting Stage: At the reporting stage, the village treasurer is responsible and obliged to record and book properly account for money through financial accountability reports at the end of each month. Accountability Stage: The village head is basically responsible to the residents and the accountability process is passed through the Camat to the Regent/Mayor.

Abstract

TikTok Shop is a social e-commerce feature that allows users and creators to promote and sell products while shopping. By selling through TikTok Shop, users and creators can earn money from the platform, especially with the growing number of TikTok users. The presence of the shopping feature on this app makes TikTok increasingly popular because, in addition to entertainment, users do not need to switch to other shopping apps to make transactions. This study aims to examine and analyze the influence of content marketing and brand image mediated by electronic word of mouth (eWOM) on product purchase interest in TikTok Shop. This research uses an associative method with a quantitative approach. The population in this study consists of TikTok Shop consumers in the Dumai area, with an unknown number, categorized as an infinite population. The Lemeshow formula was used for sampling, resulting in 97 respondents. Data analysis was performed using WarpPLS version 8.0 software. Based on the test results, it can be concluded that content marketing has a positive and significant effect on product purchase interest, as well as a positive effect on eWOM. Furthermore, eWOM was found to mediate the effect of content marketing on product purchase interest. Brand image also has a positive and significant effect on product purchase interest and eWOM, and eWOM can mediate the effect of brand image on product purchase interest.

Abstract

Human Resources (HR) are an important asset for every organization, including PT. Angkasa Pura II Silangit Airport, North Sumatra Province. Effective HR management through good leadership and proper training is essential to achieve organizational goals. This study aims to analyze the effect of leadership style and job training on employee performance at PT. Angkasa Pura II Silangit Airport, North Sumatra Province. Data were obtained through a questionnaire filled out by 64 respondents in July 2024, with a response rate of 100%. The results showed that timely job training and participatory leadership styles had a positive and significant impact on employee performance. Ticket sales data showed fluctuations from year to year, which was consistent with the lack of training and leadership style. A study of respondents showed that employee performance can be improved through the opportunity provided by leadership to convey input and complaints. Training that is relevant to operational needs and technological developments has been shown to improve employee competence and productivity. The conclusion of this study is that structured job training and good leadership style significantly improve employee performance at PT. Angkasa Pura II Silangit Airport, North Sumatra Province. Recommendations from this study include the importance of effective communication between management and employees and the development of ongoing training programs to maintain employee competence and motivation. It is hoped that the implementation of these strategies will optimize the overall performance of the organization
