Abstract

Kemampuan membaca pemahaman seharusnya sudah dimiliki oleh siswa ketika memasuki tahapan kelas lanjut di sekolah dasar. Membaca mandiri atau membaca senyap pada siswa kelas tinggi adalah metode yang lazim digunakan oleh guru, dengan anggapan bahwa siswa kelas tinggi sudah memiliki kemampuan membaca pemahaman. Namun, kondisi pembelajaran pasca pandemi menyebabkan siswa saat ini sangat membutuhkan metode yang menarik untuk lebih memudahkan mereka memahami makna bacaan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh metode shared reading terhadap kemampuan membaca pemahaman dan minat baca siswa. Metode pembacaan bersama (shared reading), guru memiliki kesempatan untuk berinteraksi dengan murid-muridnya dalam proses pembacaan, melalui prosedur pembacaan bersama (shared reading) guru dapat mendemonstrasikan dan melatih anak-anak untuk menguasai strategi atau ketrampilan tertentu yang dibutuhkan agar dapat membaca dengan baik seperti pengenalan terhadap huruf, atau pemahaman akan fonem. Metode ini dapat membuat kemampuan membaca pemahaman mereka menjadi lebih baik. Metode ini pula dapat menjadi bentuk pembelajaran yang menyenangkan sehingga dapat meningkatkan minat baca siswa. Metode penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan desain eksperimen semu. Teknik pengumpulan data melalui instrumen tes, angket, dan observasi untuk mengetahui peningkatan kemampuan membaca pemahaman dan minat baca siswa melalui metode shared reading. Secara rata-rata, setelah perlakuan pemberian metode shared reading, kemampuan membaca pemahaman dan minat baca pada kelompok eksperimen lebih tinggi, dibandingkan dengan kelompok kontrol. Penerapan metode ini akan sangat memberikan pengalaman membaca yang menarik bagi siswa, lebih fokus, sehingga secara bersama-sama mampu meningkatkan minat baca dan pemahaman siswa terhadap apa yang dibacanya.

Abstract

This study aims to demonstrate the effectiveness of clustering techniques and modelling techniques in learning to write narrative essays based on personal experience. From the results of preliminary observations, it was found that by using conventional methods, students' ability in learning to write narrative essays based on personal experience was still lacking. The use of clustering and modelling techniques in learning to write narrative essays based on personal experience was expected to have a significant influence. This type of research used quantitative research that was True Experiment Design with pre-test, post-test control group design. The research findings showed that an increase in students’ learning outcomes in the experimental class by using clustering techniques and modelling techniques. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the use of clustering and modelling techniques in learning to write narrative essays based on personal experience had a significant effect.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the storytelling method using 3D picture book media on the listening ability of children in the B3 group aged 5-6 years at TK Aisyiyah Bustanul Athfal 1 Tello Baru, Makassar city. This type of research is an experimental research method with pre-experimental designs that use the One Group Pretest-posttest design consisting of pretest, treatment and posttest, with the subjects in this study being group B3 children, totaling 10 children. The results of the study are based on the results of calculations using the Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test. In the SPSS program, the Asymp sig (2-tailed) value is 0.003, here the probability is below 0.05 or p <0.05, which means H0 is rejected. In accordance with if the probability (Asymp.sig) < 0.05 then H0 is rejected and H1, and if the probability (Asymp.sig) > 0.05 then H1 is accepted and H0 is rejected. So there is an effect of the storytelling method using 3D picture book media on the listening ability of group B children aged 5-6 years at Aisyiyah Bustanul Athfal 1 Tello Baru Kindergarten, Makassar city.

Abstract

This study aimed to determine the implementation of the School Literacy Movement at the habituation stage, the development stage, and the learning stage through the classroom reading corner at Inpres Elementary school Tombolo, the supporting and inhibiting factors for the use of the classroom reading corner in the implementation of the School Literacy Movement at Inpres elementary School Tombolo. This research was a qualitative research. The study was conducted at Inpres elemtary School Tombolo, Tombolopao District, Gowa Regency. There were 12 informans in this study consisting of the principal, 5 class teachers, 1 librarian, 5 student representatives from each grade level. Data were collected through direch observasition at the Education Unit, in-depth interviews with informants, and documentation of activitees as well as administrative completeness of the implementation of the School Literacy Movement.The results showed that the implementation of the School Literacy Movement at Inpres Elemtary School Tombolo, had been carried out well starting from the Habituation Stage, Development State, and Learning State by utilizing the classroom reading corner, in general, two reading strategies are used, namely silent and loud. The implementation of the School Literacy Movement continues in several classes during the learning period from home deu to the C.19 pandemic by utilizing digital platforms. Sources of reading materials only use the classroom reading corner and school library in the implementation of the School Literacy Movement.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan perencanaan, pelaksanaan, faktor pendukung, dan faktor penghambat kegiatan gemar membaca melalui program pojok baca di SD Aisyiyah Muhammadiyah 3 Makassar. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif. Metode pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara mendalam, dan dokumentasi. Uji keabsahan data menggunakan triangulasi sumber, teknik, dan waktu. Analisis data dimulai dari pengumpulan data, reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian diketahui bahwa kegiatan tersebut dapat terlaksana dengan melalui proses perencanaan yang komprehensif melalui pembentukan tim pelaksana, penyusunan target, jadwal, dan melaksanakan rapat secara rutin. Penerapan program pojok baca di SD Aisyiyah Muhammadiyah 3 Makassar dilakukan dengan 3 tahapan utama yaitu tahap sosialisasi, tahap implementasi, dan tahap pembiasaan. Faktor pendukung program pojok baca meliputi keterlibatan secara aktif perangkat sekolah dan ketersediaan serta pembaharuan buku-buku secara berkala, sementara faktor penghambat yaitu faktor lingkungan dan faktor psikologis. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini yaitu implementasi kegiatan gemar membaca melalui program pojok baca di SD Aisyiyah Muhammadiyah 3 Makassar dapat berjalan dengan baik karena terlebih dahulu dilakukan perencanaan yang komprehensif dan penerapan program berjalan berdasarkan perencanaan yang telah dibuat

Abstract

Masalah utama dalam penelitian ini adalah bagaimana wujud dan faktor apa yang menyebabkan terjadinya alih kode dalam interaksi masayarakat pasar Sudu kecamatan Alla kabupaten Enrekang. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan peristiwa alih kode yang terjadi dalam interaksi masyarakat pasar Sudu. Jenis penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kualitatif, yaitu jenis penelitian yang secara jelas menggambarkan masalah penelitian dalam pembahasan dan kesimpulan. Sumber data pada penelitian ini berupa data verbal atau tuturan yang terjadi pada saat proses jual beli di pasar Sudu. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini adalah observasi partisipan dan pencatatan lapangan. Data yang telah diperoleh akan dianalisis menggunakan metode padan. Pada tahap analisis data, metode padan yang akan digunakan adalah metode padan translational dan metode padan pragmatis. Dalam penelitian ini diperoleh 11 data peristiwa tuturan, dimana dalam data tersebut terdapat wujud alih kode yaitu alih kode ke dalam (Internal Code Switching) dan alih kode ke luar (External Code Switching). Selain itu ditemukan juga beberapa faktor penyebab alih kode pada peristiwa tutur dalam interaksi masyarakat pasar sudu diantaranya: faktor penutur, faktor lawan tutur, faktor adanya pihak ketiga dan faktor perubahan topik pembicaraan.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe the improvement of thematic learning outcomes through the use of image media in the learning process of grade IV MIS Muhammadiyah Sibatua students. This study used a test method on learning outcomes in each cycle. The type of Classroom Action Research is carried out in 2 cycles, each cycle consists of 4 meetings. The results of research that has been carried out using image media can improve the learning outcomes of grade IV MIS Muhammadiyah Sibatua students. With the use of image media, students are active throughout the learning process and improve learning outcomes. This improvement can be seen through the average student learning outcomes. Before applying image media, student learning outcomes averaged 6.95. And after applying image media, student learning outcomes reached an average of 9.46. Thus, the use of image media can improve student learning outcomes in class IV MIS Muhammadiyah Sibatua.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the effect of the process skills approach using picture stories on reading comprehension and reading interest of Aisyiyah Muhammadiyah 3 Elementary School Makassar fifth-grade students. This research is a quasi-experimental study with a nonequivalent control group design. The research population was all fifth-grade students at Aisyiyah Muhammadiyah 3 Makassar Elementary School, totaling 30 students. Sampling was done through the saturated sampling technique. Data was collected through tests and questionnaires and then analyzed descriptively and differentially using the Independent T-Test and the Manova Test. Based on the study's results, it can be concluded that the process skills approach using picture stories positively affects reading comprehension and reading interest in fifth-grade students of Aisyiyah Muhammadiyah 3 Makassar Elementary School.

Abstract

This study aims to see the effect of teacher pedagogical competence on the ability to apply HOTS-based reading and writing learning in the upper grades of elementary schools. This research is a quantitative research with the expose facto method. The research was conducted in cluster I, North Galesong District, Takalar Regency. The study population was upper class teachers in cluster I, North Galesong District, Takalar Regency, totaling 24 people. Through the cluster random sampling technique, the research sample was teachers at Public Elementary School No. 93 Sawakung Beba, totaling 3 people and public elementary school No. 94 Beba, totaling 3 people. Data collection techniques were carried out through questionnaires, observation, and documentation. Data analysis was carried out through quantitative descriptive analysis. The results showed that the teacher's pedagogical competence influenced the ability to apply HOTS-based reading and writing learning in the upper grades of Gugus I Elementary School, North Galesong District, Takalar Regency.

Abstract

The Context of Speech in the Minutes of Cases of Body Shaming at the Makassar District Court: A Forensic Linguistic Study. The purpose of this study is to describe the context of the speech and find out the existing legal review of the body shaming case at the Makassar District Court. This research is a descriptive study using the ethnographic theory of communication. The object of research is the case report. The data collection instruments in this study were the documentation method and note-taking. The data that has been identified is then broken down into SPEAKING elements, which are an acronym for building elements of the context of speech events. Furthermore, the SPEAKING elements consist of settings and scenes, participants, ends, acts, keys, instrumentals, standards, and genres. The results showed that the use of the word "cilang" in the sentence "Oee Cilang, stop! (Oi Cilang, stop it!)" uttered by Risma was not in the swearing category.
