Abstract

This research was conducted to optimize the use of the convolutional neural network (CNN) method in classification of krasak river sand and white river sand in the Muntilan area, Central Java with the aim of knowing or recognizing two types of sand based on digital images, the number of datasets collected amounted to 1,305 consisting of 697 krasak river sand image data and 608 white river sand image data, which then after going through Data Pre-processing process obtained 1200 image data that could be used in this study, each consisting of 600 data from each type of sand. This study uses 5 different input image sizes namely 32x32x3, 60x60x3, 122x122x3, 175x175x3, 225x225x3, to find out which input image size can produce the most effective accuracy data, the results found that the 122x122x3 input image size with epoch 10 and 3 layers CNN architecture is the best input image size with an accuracy of 99, 58% in recognizing and classifying Krasak river sand and white river sand, which then results of the most accurate input image were implemented in form of a Graphical User Interface (GUI) in facilitating the recognition of the classification of Krasak river sand and white river sand.

Abstract

Penggunaan gadget yang berlebihan akan berdampak buruk bagi perkembangan anak terkhusus usia anak PAUD atau Pendidikan usian dini. Dari hasil quisioner pengabdian diperoleh salah satu permasalah yang dikeluhkan orang tua dan guru adalah bagaimana mengontrol penggunaan gadget pada anak. Salah satu pendekatan yang efektif adalah melalui parental control family link. Sehingga pada pengabdian ini dilaksanakan miniworkshop edukasi parental control untuk guru di TKIT Mekar Insani Minggiran. Adapun metode miniworkshop ini melalui 3 tahapan, diantaranya persiapn , pelaksanaan, dan evaluasi. Materi yang disampaikan meliputi bimbingan teknis tentang bagaimana instalasi, konektifitas perangkat dan setting pada family link untuk management screentime anak. Hasil dari pelatihan menunjukan sebanyak 60% peserta mengalami peningkatan pengetahuan management screen time menggunakan family link.

Abstract

Dusun Watu VII RT 8 Argomulyo, Sedayu, Bantul geographical area is suitable for empon-empon farming. Empon-empon is the raw material for making jamu (herbal medicine). Most of the population of Dusun Watu also has competency in making herbal medicine and is involved in the herbal medicine production business, either as groups or individually. One of them is the Jamu Mulya Sari Abadigroup. Production of herbal medicine before the COVID-19 pandemic, which was absorbed by the asset market when nominalized, reached 15 million rupiahs. This number has decreased drastically to around 5-6 million Rupiah, during the COVID-19 pandemic. The numbers have started to increase post-COVID-19 pandemic, but are not yet significant and still far from pre-COVID-19numbers. The absence of online marketing and business financial management became the basis for the community service team to provide training and mentoring in managing MSME scale business finances and developing marketing strategies through digital marketing. The training and mentoringare aimed at increasing the capacity of the JamuMulya Sari Abadi herbal medicine group so that it is expected to be able to manage its business optimally, as well as the products could reach a wider market. In this way, it is expected to increase revenue, and for the future impact, the Jamu Mulya Sari Abadi business could grow and be sustainable.

Abstract

Pertanian memegang peranan penting dalam perekonomian dan menjadi mata pencaharian utama penduduk, terutama di daerah pedesaan. Untuk mencapai hasil terbaik dalam usahatani, diperlukan perlakuan khusus melalui empat tahapan utama: waktu dan penyiapan lahan, penanaman dan pemeliharaan tanaman, pemanenan, dan pengolahan pasca panen. Salah satu proses penting dalam pengolahan pasca panen adalah pengeringan gabah, yang tujuannya adalah untuk mengurangi kadar air agar dapat diproses lebih lanjut atau disimpan dalam jangka panjang. Penelitian ini berupaya mengatasi tantangan umum yang dihadapi petani, seperti gangguan hewan pemakan beras dan ketidakpastian cuaca selama proses pengeringan. Metode yang digunakan dalam pengembangan sistem ini adalah metode prototype, yang memungkinkan pengembangan aplikasi dan evaluasi pengguna secara cepat. Dalam fase pengembangan, kami memanfaatkan Arduino NodeMCU sebagai pengontrol utama yang menerima data dari berbagai sensor. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan bahwa sensor DHT11 menunjukkan kesalahan dalam pembacaan suhu, dengan perbedaan berkisar antara 1,20°C hingga 2,80°C, dan akurasi pengukuran suhu berkisar antara 90,67% hingga 95,86%. Persentase kesalahan dihitung menggunakan rumus PE=(selisih data/nilai termometer)X100. Selanjutnya sensor PIR berhasil mendeteksi pergerakan ayam dalam jarak kurang dari 2,5 meter dalam 16 dari 30 pengujian, sedangkan 14 pengujian lainnya gagal mendeteksi pergerakan. Melalui penerapan sistem ini diharapkan dapat membantu petani dalam mengoptimalkan proses pengeringan padi, memanfaatkan sinar matahari secara efisien, menghemat waktu dan tenaga, serta menghindari gangguan dari hewan pemakan beras. Sistem ini dapat diakses melalui internet (IoT), memungkinkan pemantauan dan kontrol online yang lebih baik. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan solusi praktis bagi petani untuk meningkatkan hasil pertaniannya.Pertanian, NodeMCU, Internet off Things, Arduino.

Abstract

Di tengah tantangan pengelolaan sampah yang semakin kompleks, TK IT Mekar Insani Yogyakarta menghadapi permasalahan terkait implementasi kebijakan pengelolaan sampah yang baru. Pentingnya literasi lingkungan pada anak-anak usia dini tidak dapat diabaikan, terutama dalam membentuk kesadaran dan kepedulian terhadap lingkungan. Oleh karena itu, dua inisiatif utama dari Program Kemitraan Masyarakat (PKM) dirancang: pendirian Bank Sampah berbasis digital dan sosiopreneur, serta kegiatan literasi lingkungan yang melibatkan anak-anak, orang tua, dan guru. Bank Sampah berfungsi untuk mengelola sampah yang memiliki nilai ekonomi, menggunakan sistem pencatatan digital yang efisien. Sementara itu, kegiatan literasi lingkungan bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman dan kesadaran siswa serta orang tua mengenai pentingnya pengelolaan sampah. Hasil dari pelaksanaan program ini menunjukkan peningkatan pengetahuan sebesar 60% pada peserta. Evaluasi awal menunjukkan bahwa hanya 50% peserta yang memiliki dasar pengetahuan tentang pengelolaan sampah, sedangkan setelah pelatihan, angka ini meningkat menjadi 85%. Pada kegiatan literasi lingkungan, pemahaman siswa juga meningkat signifikan, dengan skor rata-rata peserta meningkat dari 5 menjadi 9 poin. Pengelolaan Bank Sampah yang juga melibatkan unsur sosiopreneur diharapkan dapat mengurangi jumlah sampah yang dibuang ke tempat pembuangan akhir, sekaligus memberikan manfaat ekonomi bagi masyarakat. Environmental Literacy and Waste Bank using Digital and Sociopreneur-Based for Early Childhood Education Environment to Reduce the Waste Emergency in Yogyakarta Abstract Amid increasingly complex waste management challenges, TK IT Mekar Insani Yogyakarta faces issues related to the implementation of a new waste management policy. The importance of environmental literacy for early childhood cannot be overlooked, especially in shaping awareness and care for the environment. Therefore, two key initiatives of the Community Partnership Program (PKM) were designed: the establishment of a digital and sociopreneur-based Waste Bank, and environmental literacy activities involving children, parents, and teachers. The Waste Bank functions to manage waste with economic value, utilizing an efficient digital recording system. Meanwhile, the environmental literacy activities aim to improve students' and parents' understanding and awareness of the importance of waste management. The program's results showed a 60% increase in participants' knowledge. Initial evaluations revealed that only 50% of participants had basic knowledge of waste management, which increased to 85% after the training. In the environmental literacy activities, students' understanding also significantly improved, with the average participant score increasing from 5 to 9 points. The management of the Waste Bank, which also involves sociopreneurial elements, is expected to reduce the amount of waste sent to landfills, while providing economic benefits to the community.

Abstract

The adoption of Population Information System is crucial to enhance work effectiveness and serves as a manifestation of transparency in population data management. The complexity from design to implementation of such a population information system poses its own challenges. There are at least three main issues in system design, namely time estimation, team management, and ensuring the quality of system being developed. These issues must be addressed early on to prevent potential team management problems during the design and development stages of the application. One suitable method that can be employed for the design of the population information system is the Scrum methodology. Scrum is a software development framework that emphasizes a collaborative and adaptive approach. It falls under the Agile methodology, aiming to produce products that are more responsive to changes and enabling teams to adapt quickly in a dynamic environment. Scrum also promotes transparency in the development process, aiding in monitoring system progress and information accuracy. Compared to the commonly used Waterfall method, the Scrum approach offers greater flexibility in dealing with changes in requirements or needs that may arise during the development process. While the Waterfall method tends to follow predefined in linear steps. The novelty of this research lies in the proactive approach to addressing the complexity of designing population information systems by implementing Agile methodologies such as Scrum. Thus, it is expected that the implementation of Scrum will bring significant changes in improving the effectiveness and transparency in the development of population information systems.

Abstract

Keyword Extraction is the process of identifying and extracting key words or important phrases from a text or document, aiming to quickly identify keyword information from a large amount of data. This research investigates three online news sites in Indonesia, namely Kompas.com, Detik.com, and Tempo.co. The keyword extraction process is strengthened by the TF-IDF (Term Frequency - Inverse Document Frequency) method, assigning a high weight to words that frequently appear in one document but rarely in others. The TF-IDF calculation results in different weights for each word. Many words were successfully extracted from the three sites, displaying 30 keywords from the dataset. The accuracy of the weight calculation was then tested using F1-Score, resulting in an F1-Score of 99.67%, with an accuracy rate of 99.76%.

Abstract

Air is essential for the life of living things, immaculate air. Air needs to be measured at all times to determine the quality it contains. In the Yogyakarta area, air quality is measured by the Yogyakarta City Environmental Agency and documented in an index called the Air Pollutant Standard Index or ISPU. ISPU can be used to assist the government in taking steps and policies toward air quality control as well as predicting air quality in the future. Prediction or forecasting can be done using the Prophet model with data collection and problem-solving using the model. The forecasting results with the Prophet model found very accurate results with an MAE value of 0.4354644200045299, MAPE of 0.81%, MSE of 0.32, and RMSE of 0.56.

Abstract

Stroke is a dangerous disease that can take someone's life, regardless of age. Several factors can cause a stroke, such as diabetes, hypertension, smoking, obesity, and other stroke factors. Therefore, understanding stroke is crucial for everyone to anticipate and prevent this disease. This stroke classification prediction research aims to determine the results of classification and the accuracy level of the data collected through the Support Vector Machine (SVM) method and SMOTE technique. Support Vector Machine (SVM) is an algorithm used to map information with minimal risk by separating hyperplanes. Before the testing phase, data balancing is also performed first using the SMOTE technique to ensure more accurate data processing. This research uses a dataset of 5,110 data points with 12 records. The classification results using the SVM method with the SMOTE technique yielded a good level of accuracy. Specifically, this research uses two ratios: 80:20 with an accuracy result of 85.45% and 70:30 with an accuracy result of 85.24%.

Abstract

Dusun Watu VII RT 8 Argomulyo, Sedayu, Bantul mempunyai wilayah geografis yang cocok untuk pertanian empon-empon yang menjadi bahan baku untuk pembuatan jamu. Sebagian besar penduduknya juga telah mempunyai kemampuan dan menggeluti usaha produksi jamu baik yang dilakukan secara berkelompok maupun individu, salah satunya adalah kelompok jamu herbal Mulya Sari Abadi. Produksi jamu sebelum pandemic covid -19, yang diserap pasar asetnya bila dinominalkan mencapai 15 juta rupiah. Angka tersebut mengalami penurunan dratis menjadi di kiasaran 5-6 juta rupiah, setelah pandemic covid 19, dan pasca pandemic saat ini sudah mulai mengalami peningkatan namun belum signifikan. Belum adanya tata kelola keuangan usaha dan pemasaran secara online menjadi dasar bagi tim pengabdi untuk melakukan pelatihan dan pendampingan pengelolaan keuangan usaha skala UMKM dan pengembangan strategi pemasaran melalui digital marketing. Adanya pelatihan dan pendampingan tersebut ditujukan untuk meningkatkan kapasitas Kelompok jamu Mulya Sari Abadi sehingga diharapkan dapat mengelola usahanya secara optimal, sekaligus agar produk jamunya dapat menjangkau pasar yang lebih luas. Dengan demikian diharapkan bisa menambah revenue, dan untuk dampak ke depannya usaha Jamu Mulya sari Abadi dapat berkembang dan berkelanjutan
