Abstract

Community activities to perform, especially marine aquaculture farming pearl oysters around Baubau municipal waters has increased. This study aims to analyze (1). hydro-oceanographic factors for the suitability of the development of pearl oyster farming in the waters of the city of Baubau, Southeast Sulawesi (2). The capacity of the land and the production capability of land for the development of pearl oyster farming based on changes in hydro oceanographic parameters. The method used is the exploratory study using survey methods and direct measurements in the field. Data were analyzed descriptively reported in the form of Tables and Figures. The results showed that after a through analysis of hydro oseangrafi waters of Baubau then obtained the appropriate areas suitable for cultivation and pearl oyster 512.31 hectares with a capacity of 409.85 hectares of land available. pearl oyster cultivation of 40 985 units with production forecast 4391.23 tons / year or as much as 133,434.80 grains / year.

Abstract

One effective method of learning science used is a lab / experimental. Practicum is not necessarily using sophisticated tools and materials and expensive, but can be done using simple tools and materials that are easily found around us. The purpose of this study was to determine the activity and results of class VIII student of SMP Negeri 7 Alla Enrekang in the subject matter of growth and development with practical methods utilize coconut water as a source of plant nutrients. This research includes studies Pre Experiment Design research design One-Shot Case Study. The population in this study were all students of class VIII SMPN 7 Alla school year 2015/2016, which consists of five classes with the number of students 153 people. Determination of the sample using purposive sampling sample obtained one sample class is class VIIIe by the number of learners 29. The research instrument used is the observation sheet student learning activities and tests in the form of multiple choice questions. Data analysis technique used is descriptive analysis of statistical data. The results of the research and analysis of the data shows that for the learning activities of students categorized as very high 80% and 20% for the high category while for the learning outcomes of students categorized as very high 41% and 59% higher category.

Abstract

Identifikasi Keunggulan Kompetitif Jurusan Pendidikan Biologi Fakultas Tarbiyah dan Keguruan UIN Alauddin Makassar Dipandang dari Segi Alumni. Rumusan masalah penelitian ini adalah megetahui keunggulan kompetitif jurusan yang dapat menjadi nilai lebih jurusan untuk mempromosikan diri dipandang dari sudut alumni. Adapun tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah menemukan keunggulan kompetitif jurusan yang dapat menjadi nilai lebih jurusan untuk mempromosikan diri dipandang dari sudut alumni. Subyek penelitian adalah alumni dan pengguna lulusan dan data diperoleh dengan cara membagi kuesioner kepada para responden melalui penyebaran kuesioner (langsung kepada para responden, secara e-kuesioner baik melalui email dan media sosial khusus alumni). Data yang diperoleh kemudian dianalisis dengan menggunakan deskriptif statistik. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan  keterserapan kerja alumni yang berada pada persentase 81% dengan masa tunggu tidak lebih dari 6 bulan dan keunggulan kompetitif dipandang dari sudut alumni meliputi;  pengetahuan tentang aspek ilmu pendidikan biologi yang ditingkatkan oleh Jurusan Pendidikan Biologi dengan persentase sebesar 59,25% (sangat setuju), kemampuan untuk berpikir secara komprehensip dan inter/multidisipliner dengan persentase sebesar 62,96% (setuju). Kemampuan dalam bekerjasama dengan tim menjawab dengan persentase sebesar 51,85%(setuju), kemampuan dalam berkomunikasi  menjawab dengan persentase sebesar 55,55% (setuju) , memecahkan masalah dalam pekerjaaan menjawab dengan persentase sebesar 70,37% (setuju) , interaksi dengan civitas akademika selama menempuh studi di UINAM telah memberikan kesempatan untuk membangun jejaring (network) yang bermamfaat untuk pekerjaan dengan persentase sebesar 70,37% (setuju). Tanggapan alumni terhadap   materi kuliah, pengetahuan dan keterampilan yang diperoleh selama studi bermanfaat dalam pekerjaan saat ini dijawab dengan persentase sebesar 59,26% (setuju), kelulusan dari jurusan pendidikan biologi telah berdampak nyata pada peningkatan karier di tempat kerja dengan persentase sebesar 33,33% (sangat setuju) dan menjawab setuju dengan persentase sebesar 55,55% (setuju).

Abstract

Masalah yang diangkat dalam penelitian ini adalah pengembangan herbarium book sebagai media pembelajaran biologi pada mata kuliah struktur tumbuhan tinggi mahasiswa Jurusan Pendidikan Biologi UIN Alauddin Makassar dengan tujuan untuk mengetahui cara mengembangkan herbarium book sebagai media pembelajaran biologi, mengetahui tingkat kevalidan, kepraktisan dan keefektifannya. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan (research and development) yang mengacu pada model ASSURE yang dikembangkan oleh Sharon E Smaldino, dkk. Subjek uji coba adalah mahasiswa pendidikan biologi angkatan 2015 yang berjumlah 40 orang.Instrumen yang digunakan pada penelitian ini yaitu lembar validasi, angket dan butir tes.Tekhnik pengumpulan data menggunakan format validasi, format kepraktisan dan format keefektifan.Data yang diperoleh kemudian dianalisis dengan menggunakan analisis statistik deskriptif. Berdasarkan hasil uji kevalidan diperoleh nilai 3,78 dan dinyatakan sesuai kategori sangat valid. Untuk kepraktisan diperoleh nilai dari angket respon dosen yang bernilai 3,5 dan 3,7 dan dinyatakan sesuai kategori praktis. Untuk uji keefektifan diperoleh ketuntasan hasil belajar mahasiswa sebesar 95% yang mengindikasikan bahwa kategori efektif dengan jumlah mahasiswa yang tidak tuntas sebanyak 4 orang dari 40 orang mahasiswa dan untuk angket respon mahasiswa diperoleh nilai 3, 29 dan 3,17.Berdasarkan hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa herbarium book yang dikembangkan memenuhi kriteria valid, praktis, dan efektif.

Abstract

This study aims to develop learning media MONRAKED (Educational Giant Monopoly) on the digestive system material for class XI SMA Pesantren GUPPI Samata Gowa Regency and determine the level of validit, practicality and effective of learning media MONRAKED (Educative Giant Monopoly) on digestive system material for class XI SMA Pesantren GUPPI Samata.This study uses research and development (R & D) methods referring to the 4-D development model which includes four stages, namely define, design, develop, and disseminate. The product developed is in the form of learning media MONRAKED (Educational Giant Monopoly) which is tested through validity tests, practicality tests and effectiveness tests. The subjects in this study were students of class XI MIA 1 SMA Pesantren GUPPI Samata 2020/2021 as many as 14 students. The research instrument is a student response questionnaire and a teacher response questionnaire to obtain product practicality data, as well as test items to obtain product effectiveness data.The results showed that the MONRAKED (Educational Giant Monopoly) learning media on the digestive system material for class XI SMA Pesantren GUPPI which was developed has a validity level by a team of material experts and a valid design expert team of 3.72, the assessment of student responses and teacher responses, the level of practicality is at practical category with an average total score of 2.64. The test of student learning outcomes using the learning media MONRAKED (Educational Giant Monopoly) on the digestive system material for class XI SMA Pesantren GUPPI Samata is categorized as effective because it reaches 100%. So the learning media MONRAKED (Educational Giant Monopoly) on the digestive system material for class XI SMA Pesantren GUPPI Samata is feasible to use because it has met the valid, practical and effective criteria.

Abstract

Accelerated learning Included by Discovery (ALID) learning model is a learning model that aims to create constructivist and humanistic learning, namely learning that provides opportunities for students to find concepts and solve problems with the full potential of students so that learning is more meaningful. This study aims (1) to determine the learning outcomes of class VIII students in science subjects taught by applying the ALID learning model at SMPN 8 Bulukumba (2) to determine the learning outcomes of class VIII students in science subjects taught without applying learning models ALID at SMPN 8 Bulukumba (3) to determine the effect of the ALID learning model on the learning outcomes of class VIII students in science subjects at SMPN 8 Bulukumba. The type of research applied in this study is a quasi-experimental type. The researchdesign used was a non-equivalent control group design. The sample in this study were 20 class VIII A students who were selected as the experimental class and class VIII B as the control class. The instrument used is a cognitive learning outcome test of 15 numbers related to the material of the digestive system. The data analysis technique used is descriptive statistical analysis and inferential statistics. The results showed that students who were taught by applying the Accelerated Learning Included by Discovery (ALID) learning model had an average learning outcome of 72.25. Meanwhile, students who are taught by applying conventional learning models have an average learning outcome of 52.6. The results of inferential statistical analysis obtained a sign value for learning outcomes of 0.000, this value indicates that the sign < = 0.00 <0.05 so that H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted. Based on the results of the analysis, it can be concluded that the application of the Accelerated Learning Included by Discovery (ALID) learning model affects the cognitive learning outcomes of class VIII students in science subjects at SMPN 8 Bulukumba.

Abstract

The use of media through the Android application is still limited, even though it is needed to foster interest in learning after the COVID-19 pandemic. The research focused on increasing learning interest through the application of the Android-based Word Square learning media. This experimental research used a pretest-posttest control group design. The population in this study were all students of class IX MTs Guppi Samata, which consisted of 2 classes. The saturated sampling method was used in the sampling procedure with six samples taken from the experimental class IX-A and six samples taken from the control class IX-B. The research instrument was a questionnaire consisting of 30 items. The data analysis technique used the Wilcoxon signed ranks test. Students' learning interests differed depending on whether or not they used the Android-based Word Square learning media (p = 0.046, p 0.05). The results showed the differences in students' interest in learning with and without using the media of Word Square learning media based on android human reproductive system material for class IX MTs Guppi Samata (p = 0.046, p < 0.05). The average interest in learning among students through the media was 114.83. The value was higher than those without using the media (106.50). This proves that Word Square learning resources based on Android can increase students' learning interests. The findings of this study can be used to inform teachers' decisions about how to use engaging learning technologies and a variety of media to enhance the quality of their instruction.

Abstract

Learning media in the teaching and learning process has many uses or functions that significantly strengthen the learning objectives. This research aimed to develop learning media based on animation and song lyrics on cell division material for senior high school students and determine its validity, practicality, and effectiveness. This study used the Research and Development  method referred to ADDIE model. The model consisted of five stages (analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation). The product developed was animation-based learning media with music and song lyrics and was tested through validity tests, practice tests, and effectiveness tests.  The research instruments were validation sheets to validate the media by experts, a response questionnaire to collect information from educators and students regarding the practicality of the media, and learning outcomes tests given to students. In this study, the product was tested on class XII senior high school students of Al-Bahra, Jeneponto, Indonesia. The results showed the validity level of the media was 3.68 with the very valid category. The practicality level of the media was 3.56 with the very practical category with the percentage of the effectiveness rate was 85.71% with the effective category. This study concludes that animation-based learning media with music and song lyrics on cell division material is available in the learning process because it has met the valid, practical, and effective criteria.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pelaksanaan praktikum berbasis video terhadap hasil belajar peserta didik. Masalah dalam penelitian ini dialami pendidik karena pelaksanaan praktikun di sekolah tersebut belum dapat dioptimalkan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Quasi Eksperimen menggunakan desain Non-equivalent Control Group Design. Sampel pada penelitian ini berjumlah 44 peserta didik dan dibagi menjadi dua kelompok yaitu kelompok kelas kontrol dan kelompok kelas eksperimen, menggunakan teknik Purposive Sampling. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah tes hasil hasil belajar dan lembar observasi. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis  deskriptif dan analisis inferensial menggunakan uji prasyarat dan uji independent sample t-test. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang dilakukan, skor hasil belajar peserta didik pada kelas yang diajar tanpa pelaksanaan praktikum berbasis video (kontrol) berada pada kategori baik dengan jumlah rata-rata 66,26 sedangkan skor hasil belajar peserta didik pada kelas yang diajar dengan pelaksanaan praktikum berbasis video (eksperimen) berada pada kategori sangat baik dengan jumlah rata-rata 84,67. Hasil analisis inferensial data menunjukkan bahwa nilai signifikansi yang diperoleh yaitu thitung 0,0000,05 sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa  terdapat perbedaan signifikan antara hasil belajar peserta didik yang diajar dengan pelaksanaan praktikum berbasis video dan peserta didik yang diajar tanpa pelaksanaan praktikum berbasis video.
