This study aims to: 1) Determine the effect of active sludge on reducing pollutant levels in liquid waste; 2) Knowing the combination of activated sludge and liquid waste in order to reduce environmental pollution. The type of research used is True Experimental Design research using a completely randomized design (CRD). This study consisted of 4 treatments with 5 repetitions so that there were 20 units. The first treatment was used as a control containing 100% liquid waste from food factories, the second treatment used 10 grams of activated sludge and 500 ml of food factory liquid waste, the third treatment used 10 grams of activated sludge and 600 ml of food factory liquid waste, and the fourth treatment used 10 grams activated sludge and 700 ml of food waste. The results showed that the process of acclimatization of activated sludge to liquid food waste had an effect on reducing pollutant levels of liquid food waste, as seen from the decrease in TSS (Total Suspended Solid) from 3.68 mg⁄L to 1.34 mg⁄L in treatment A, 1.3 mg⁄L treatment B, 1.32 mg⁄L in treatment C, COD (Chemical Oxygen Demand) from 32.16 mg⁄L decreased to 8.32 mg⁄L in treatment A, 11.84 mg⁄L in treatment B, and 9.28 mg⁄L in treatment C, and BOD (Biochemical Oxygen Demand) from 16.14 mg⁄L decreased to 4.12 mg⁄L in treatment A, 5.7 mg⁄L in treatment B , and 5.4 mg⁄L in treatment C and the effect of activated sludge treatment on liquid waste was evident that treatment A (10 grams of activated sludge and 500 ml of food liquid waste) had a significant effect on reducing pollutant levels from food factory wastewater.

The Jeopardy Game is a learning media designed to assess students' ability to identify and remember factual information. This study aimed to describe students' learning activities and outcomes, whether or not they used Jeopardy Game learning media. Another aim was to define the impact of the media on the activities and students' learning outcomes. This was a quasi-experimental study with a non-equivalent control group design. The data analysis techniques were descriptive statistical analysis and inferential statistics. The sample in this study was 20 students from class VIII A, selected as the experimental class, and class VIII C, as the control class. The instrument used is a learning outcome test on respiratory system material. The results showed that students taught using the Jeopardy Game learning media had an average learning outcome of 72.82 and learning activities of 70.85. Meanwhile, students taught using conventional learning models have an average learning outcome of 58.35 and a mean value of learning activities 45.6. The results of inferential statistical analysis obtained a significant value for activity and learning outcomes of 0.000. This value indicates that the sign < = 0.00 < 0.05 so that H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted. It appears that the Jeopardy Game learning media influenced students' activities and learning outcomes in PondokPesantren Al-Wahid PancaLautang's respiratory system material for class VIII Sidenreng Rappang District.

Tujuan kegiatan pengabdiaan masyarakat ini ialah untuk melakukan pendampingan kepada pengelola laboratorium dalam pengelolaan laboratorium IPA di sekolah. Peserta yang terlibat dalam kegiatan ini adalah Kepala Sekolah, Kepala Laboratorium, guru mata pelajaran biologi di SMA Negeri 6 Sinjai Barat. Kegiatan pendampingan pengelolaan laboratorium IPA meliputi beberapa kegiatan terkait penataan dan inventarisasi laboratorium. Ketercapaian keberhasilan kegiatan pengabdian diperoleh melalui penyebaran instrumen survei kepada pihak sekolah. Hasil kegiatan ini adalah dibuatnya inventaris alat bahan praktikum, pembuatan struktur organisasi laboratorium, tata tertib kegiatan praktikum, dan membuat jadwal kegiatan praktikum. Disamping itu dilakukan pula penataan ruang alat seperti lemari alat, ruang praktikum, meja praktikum, dan pendampingan membersihkan alat-alat praktikum. Berdasarkan survei untuk mengukur ketercapaian kegiatan pengabdian mendapatkan respon positif dari pihak sekolah.

Tujuan dari penelitian pengembangan ini adalah untuk menghasilkan produk berupa media pembelajaran permainan ular tangga pada materi sistem saraf yang memenuhi kriteria kelayakan yakni valid, praktis dan efektif. Model pengembangan yang digunakan adalah model ADDIE. Langkah pengembangannya adalah analisis, desain, pengembangan, implementasi, dan evaluasi. Media pembelajarandikembangkan dan diujicobakan di kelas XI MIA A MA Madani Alauddin Paopao. Data dikumpulkanmenggunakan instrumen lembar validasi, angket dan butir-butir tes. Berdasarkan hasilanalisis data, diperoleh kevalidan media sebesar 3,60 dengan kategori sangat valid, kepraktisanmedia sebesar 4,11 dengan kategori tinggi dan media dikategorikan efektif karena mencapai ketuntasan belajar sebesar 93,33%. Media pembelajaran permainan ular tangga pada materi sistem saraf layak dipertimbangkan sebagai salah satu media yang dapat digunakan dalam proses pembelajaran di kelas.

Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan media awetan kering metamorfosis kupu-kupu terhadap hasil belajar siswa pada materi metamorfosis kupu-kupu kelas VIII MTs Bontoramba Kabupaten Jeneponto. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian Quasi-Experimental dengan desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah Nonequivalent Control Group Desain. Populasi pada penelitian adalah seluruh siswa kelas VIII MTs Bontoramba yang berjumlah 80 orang yang tersebar dalam 3 kelas. Sampel penelitian dipilih dua kelas menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Sehingga ditentukan kelas VIIIA sebagai kelas eksperimen sebanyak 27 orang dan kelas VIIIB sebagai kelas kontrol sebanyak 28 orang. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan insrumen penelitian berupa tes pilihan ganda sebanyak 20 butir soal yang telah diuji validitas dan reliabilitasnya. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis statistik deskriptif dan analisis statistik inferensial dengan uji paired 2 sample t-tes. Berdasarkan hasil analisis pada uji hipotesis nilai posttest kelas eksperimen (VIII A) dan kelas kontrol (VIII B) diperoleh nilai sig. 0,000 < 0,05 Dengan demikian ????0 ditolak dan ????1 diterima. Jadi dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan menggunakan media awetan kering metamorfosis kupu-kupu terhadap hasil belajar IPA peserta didik kelas VIII MTs Bontoramba .

Penelitian ini bertujuan (1) mengetahui bagaimana tahapan dalam mengembangkan media pembelajaran berbasis Kartu Pintar Biologi pada materi sel siswa kelas XI MIA MA Madani Alauddin Kabupaten Gowa (2) mengetahui tingkat kepraktisan, tingkat kevalidan, dan juga tingkat keefektifan dari media Pembelajaran yang dikembangkan. Pengembangan Kartu pintar Biologi pada penelitian ini dilaksanakan sampai tahap pengembangan yang didasarkan pada model pengembangan 4-D dari S. Thiagarajan, dkk yang memiliki 4 langkah yang meliputi: pendefinsisan (define’), perancangan (design), pengembangan (develop’) dan penyebaran (disseminate).Berdasarkan analisisis data uji kevalidan, diperoleh nilai rata-rata 3,8. Tingkat keefektifan’ media pembelajaran memiliki nilai rata-rata 84,4%. Kepraktisan media mendapatkan kategori positif dengan nilai rata-rata 3,32. Oleh karena itu maka dapat disimpukan bahwa media pembelajaran kartu pintar biologi memenuhi kategori valid, praktis dan efektif. Sehingga media pembelajaran yang dikembangkan layak untuk digunakan pada proses pembelajaran.

Penelitian ini bertujuan 1) untuk mengetahui gambaran hasil belajar peserta didik yang diajar dengan menggunakan metode praktikum pada pembelajaran biologi kelas XII IPA SMAN 11 Sinjai, 2) untuk mengetahui gambaran hasil belajar peserta didik yang diajar dengan menggunakan metode diskusi pada pembelajaran biologi kelas XII IPA SMAN 11 Sinjai, 3) Untuk mengetahui pengaruh metode praktikum terhadap hasil belajar peserta didik kelas XII IPA SMAN 11 Sinjai. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian eksperimen semu (Quasi Eksperiment) dengan Nonequivalent Control Group Design. Populasi penelitian ini adalah peserta didik kelas XII IPA SMAN 11 Sinjai yang berjumlah 55 peserta didik. Teknik pengambilan sampel adalah sampel jenuh sehingga sampel kelas eksperimen sebanyak 26 peserta didik dan kelas kontrol sebanyak 24 peserta didik yang diajar dengan menggunakan metode diskusi. Instrumen berupa tes hasil belajar peserta didik. Analisis data berupa statistik deskriptif dan statistik inferensial dengan uji independent sample t-test. Hasil penelitian ini diperoleh nilai rata-rata posstest hasil belajar peserta didik pada kelas eksperimen adalah 83,96, sedangkan pada kelas kontrol nilai rata-ratanya adalah 71,75 dan nilai signifikansi 0,000 0,05 yang berarti terdapat pengaruh metode praktikum terhadap hasil belajar peserta didik di kelas XII IPA SMAN 11 Sinjai.

The misconception is the inability to connect concepts to solve the problem correctly. This research was a case study that aimed to reveal the misconceptions of class XII students at SMA Negeri 2 Binamu Jeneponto on the enzyme subject. The instrument used was an open-ended multiple-choice diagnostic test with 15 questions regarding enzymes. Each test item consists of questions with four possible answers. Combining the students' answer selections and their justifications to create an answer statement that was similar to the response to the description question was the method used to analyze the answers to reasoned multiple-choice tests. The research analysis unit consisted of 26 class XII students. It was found that 17% of students experienced misconceptions about the enzyme subject. Students who have fewer misconceptions than students who do not understand the concept are equal to 43%. This study concludes that students have more partial misconceptions than complete misconceptions.

Anduring Village or Nagari is one of the villages located in the 2X11 Kayu Tanam District, Padang Pariaman Regency which has an area of 133.85 km². Nagari Anduring has seven smaller administrative areas or korong, namely Korong Rimbo Kalam, Korong Asam Pulau, Korong Kampuang Tangah, Korong Lubuk Napa, Korong Sipisang Sipinang, Korong Lubuk Aua, and Korong Balah Aia. Nagari Anduring has not brought in many local tourists on a regular basis, this is due to many contributing factors such as inadequate infrastructure and more than half of the area is a natural reserve forest with a slope of 15% to 45%. Nevertheless, Nagari Anduring has the potential for tourist attractions with attractive natural scenery such as waterfalls, rivers and from the agricultural sector. The purpose of this research is to identify and map the tourism potential in Nagari Anduring so that later it is expected to have a positive impact on the economy of the Nagari Anduring community.

Bausung bridal tradition is one of a traditional wedding processions of Banjar society. Bausung bridal is lifting or carrying the bride and groom up on the shoulders of two men. The society belief if this tradition did not carried out they will get a sanction from their ancestors. The purpose of this research is to analyze this tradition deeply to find out the Bausung bridal tradition in the composition of Islamic legal rules according to the perspective of 'urf. This research is an empirical that has qualitative approach. Data source to be used are primary as and secondary data. The results of this study indicate that the Bausung bridal tradition is classified as 'urf amali in terms of 'urf material because it is focuses on a practice, in terms of the scope of 'urf is 'urf khaas because it is only carried out by the Banjar tribal society and in terms of the validity of 'urf is 'urf shahih because the majority of the process of the Bausung bridal tradition does not conflict with Islamic law, although there are still some practices from this tradition that must be abandoned because it has the potential to cause shirk to Allah SWT.
