Abstract

This study’s aim is to find out and describe the types of class X student error IPA 1 SMA Negeri 1 Cisaat as well as solutions to solve student error on linear equation system material three variables. The type of research used in this study was the type of descriptive qualitative research. The location of this research was in SMA Negeri 1 Cisaat. This study took the subject of research as many as four students with the technique of taking the subject by purposive sampling. Data analysis techniques conducted in this research are data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion. After the data were analyzed then validated the validity of the data by using technique triangulation, that is by comparing the result of the student's answer on test questions and interview result. The results obtained from this study are the type of concept mistakes made the subject of research on misconceptions reached 32.26%. Then the type of procedural error is a mistake that is often done by the subject of research, procedure error reached 48.39%. Therefore,  the type of error in using the operation or calculation as much as 19.35%.

Abstract

Guru abad 21 memiliki peran untuk mengintegrasikan teknologi ke dalam proses pembelajaran di kelas, juga menekankan pembelajaran kolaboratif dan pemecahan masalah pada setiap proses pembelajarannya. Untuk itu seorang guru harus mengikuti dan mengintegrasikan perkembangan teknologi dalam Pendidikan. Kerangka kerja baru yang mengintegrasikan pengetahuan teknologi, pedagogi, dan content knowledge pada pembelajaran abad 21, lebih dikenal sebagai TPACK-21. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memodelkan kemampuan TPACK-21 Guru SD Di Kota Sukabumi menggunakan metode SEM. Penelitian menggunakan metode survey dengan instrumen self-assessment yang terdiri dari 38 butir pertanyaan sebagai penjabaran indikator pembentuk TPACK-21. Sampel yang digunakan sebanyak 100 orang guru SD di Kota Sukabumi. Data dianalisis menggunakan SmartPLS. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa hanya Technological Content Knowledge (TCK) dan Technological Pedagogical Knowledge (TPK) yang berpengaruh langsung secara positif dan signifikan terhadap Technological Pedagogical Content Knowledge-21 (TPACK21) guru SD di Kota Sukabumi. Ini berarti kompetensi TPACK-21 guru SD Di kota Sukabumi dapat ditingkatkan melalui peningkatan komponen TCK dan TPK guru. Sedangkan Content Knowledge (CK), Pedagogical Knowledge (PK), dan Technological Knowledge (TK) berpengaruh tidak langsung terhadap TPACK melalui TCK dan TPK.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui kemampuan berpikir kritis matematis siswa SMK ditinjau dari tipe kepribadian MBTI. Jenis penelitian pada penelitian ini yaitu penelitian kualitatif. Tes yang dilakukan yaitu tes angket kepribadian MBTI dan tes kemampuan berpikir kritis matematis.Teknik pengambilan subjek menggunakan purpose sampling , peneliti memilih 4 subjek yang terdiri dari 1 siswa tipe kepribadian INFP,1 siswa dengan tipe kepribadian INTP, 1 siswa dengan tipe kerpibadian INTJ, dan 1 siswa dengan tipe kepribadian INFJ untuk diberikan tes dan dilakukan wawancara. Data kemudian di analisis dengan langkahnya yaitu: reduksi data, penyajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil analisis data menunjukan bahwa tipe kepribadian INTP dan INTJ memenuhi semua indikator kemampuan berpikir kritis. Tipe kepribadian INFP hanya memenuhi 3 indikator kemampuan berpikir kritis. Sedangkan tipe INFJ memenuhi semua indikator berpikir kritis hanya pada salah satu soal saja. Hasil dari penelitian ini menganjurkan kepada guru untuk lebih memperdulikan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa agar mampu menyelesaikan masalah yang bersifat abstrak.

Abstract

This study aims implement a CTL model assisted by the GEMAS application (Educational Mathematics Game for Junior High School) to enhance the mathematical critica thinking skills of students at SMPN 4 Kota Sukabumi. The study employs a quantitative research method with a quasi-eksperimental design and a control gruoup pretest and posttest design. The population of this reseacrh consist of all grade VIII students at SMPN 4 Kota Sukabumi, with samples selected using cluster random sampling technique. The sample includes three classes: VIII E, VIII F, and VIII H, comprising a total of 84 randomly selected students. The reseacrh instruments include four test questions on mathematical critical thinking skills with validated PLSV material, as well as observation sheets. Data analysis was performed using anova with a significance level of 5%. The result indicate that the mathematical critical thinking skills of students using the CTL model assisted by the GEMAS application are better than thse using the CTL model alone, as well as th direct learning model.

Abstract

This study aims to compare students' critical thinking abilities by implementing the JUCAMA learning model assisted by GEMAS for junior high school students. The research method is quantitative, using a quasi-experimental design with a Control Group Pretest and Posttest Design. The population in this study consists of all students from SMPN 12 Kota Sukabumi in the eighth grade during the odd semester of the 2024/2025 academic year, totaling 229 students. A sample was taken from the population of all eighth-grade students at SMPN 12 Kota Sukabumi using cluster random sampling. This, the sample for this study consists of 88 eighth-grade students from SMP Negeri 12 Kota Sukabumi, divided into two experimental classes and one control class. The data analysis technique used is ANOVA with a significance level of α=5%. This research employs an instrument for testing students' critical thinking abilities in the form of pretest and posttest questions, as well as non-test instruments such as observation sheets and documentation. The results of this study indicate that the JUCAMA model assisted by GEMAS is more effective than both the JUCAMA model and Discovery Learning in enhancing the critical thinking abilities of junior high school students.

Abstract

Games-based learning is a learning model that integrates material into games so that it can motivate students to think critically when solving problems. This study aims to review the critical thinking skills of junior high school students in learning mathematics that applies a game-based learning model using GEMAS game. This research uses the descriptive analysis method. The research was conducted at Tahfidz Quran Al-Fath Islamic Middle School with 29 students in class IX as research subjects; 2 subjects were taken to be interviewed about the results of their answers to the critical thinking ability test. Subjects were selected based on specific considerations, namely, students with high mathematical abilities and those with low mathematical abilities. Data collection was carried out using test and interview methods. Based on the analysis results, it was found that the percentage of students who could meet critical thinking according to FRISCO (Focus, Reason, Inference, Situasion, Clarity, dan Overview) criteria increased after game-based learning. There is an increase in critical thinking skills, both students with high mathematical abilities and those with low mathematical abilities. Students with high mathematical abilities have achieved better critical thinking criteria than students who have low mathematical abilities. Pembelajaran berbasis games merupakan model pembelajaran yang mengintegrasikan materi ke dalam permainan (games) sehingga mampu memotivasi siswa untuk berpikir kritis dalam menyelesaikan masalah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meninjau kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa SMP pada pembelajaran matematika yang menerapkan model pembelajaran berbasis game menggunakan game GEMAS.  Penelitian ini menggunakan metode analisis deskriptif. Penelitian dilakasanakan di SMP Islam Tahfidz Quran Al-Fath dengan subjek penelitian 29 siswa kelas IX, yang diambil 2 subjek untuk diwawancara mengenai hasil jawabannya terhadap tes kemampuan berpikir kritis. Subjek dipilih berdasarkan pertimbangan tertentu, yakni siswa yang memiliki kemampuan matematika tinggi dan siswa yang memiliki kemmapuan matematika kurang. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan metode tes dan wawancara. Berdasarkan pada hasil analisis, diperoleh persentase siswa yang mampu memenuhi kriteria berpikir kritis FRISCO (Focus, Reason, Inference, Situasion, Clarity, dan Overview) meningkat setelah pembelajaran berbasis game. Terdapat peningkatan kemampuan berpikir kritis, baik siswa dengan kemampuan matematika tinggi maupun siswa yang memiliki kemampuan matematika rendah. Siswa dengan kemampuan matematika tinggi memiliki ketercapaian kriteria berpikir kritis yang lebih baik dari siswa yang memiliki kemampuan matematika rendah.

Abstract

This research focuses on the development of gamification-based mathematics teaching materials specifically designed to improve the problem-solving and critical mathematical thinking skills of junior high school students in the form of GEMAS (Junior High School Mathematics Game) and to test the product based on its validity, practicality, and effectiveness aspects. The ADDIE MODEL is used in the research and development of GEMAS. Previous research articles have discussed the stages of product development, validity testing, and practicality, so the focus mof this article only discusses its effectiveness test. Thus, the stages of the ADDIE model used in this article are also limited to the last two stages, namely Implementation and Evaluation. The study was conducted at two junior high schools in Sukabumi using a one-sample pretest-posttest design. The sample was 256 students from 10 study groups using cluster random sampling techniques. Data were collected through the Krulik-Rudnick problem-solving ability test instrument, the FRISCO critical-thinking ability test, and student response sheets that met the criteria of being very valid and highly reliable. Data were analyzed using a paired two-sample t-test at a significance level of alpha 5% and descriptive analysis. The results of the study showed that GEMAS met the criteria for effectiveness. This can be seen from the overall range of values between the average pretest and posttest of problem-solving ability which reached 43.75 and critical thinking ability which reached 47.00, as well as the n-gain value of both mathematical problem-solving ability and mathematical critical thinking ability of junior high school students has met the moderate improvement category (46-51%).

Abstract

This research was motivated by the fact that the mathematical problem-solving ability of junior high school students during the Covid-19 pandemic in Indonesia was low. The strategy and approach used in learning mathematics are success factors in the mathematics learning process. One of the objectives of this research is to analyze the mathematical problem-solving ability of junior high school students using mobile learning with the Microsoft Kaizala application. The method used in this research is an experiment with a Pre-Experimental Design Research and One-Group Pretest-Posttest Design Research Design. The research was conducted at SMPN 50 Satap Oku, Ogan Komering Ulu Regency, South Sumatra Province. The results showed that the final mathematical problem-solving ability of students who received learning using mobile learning with the Microsoft Kaizala application was better than the students’ initial mathematical problem-solving ability and the average percentage of students’ mathematical problem-solving ability achievement after using the Microsoft Kaizala application was 85.16% (excellent). It means that the students’ problem-solving ability is getting better after using mobile learning with Microsoft Kaizala application.

Abstract

This study examines the arithmetic used by Sundanese people, especially in several regions in Sukabumi Regency, as a cultural heritage that can be used for activities in daily life using specific patterns. Some traditional societies in the Sunda region are still closely related to the beliefs adopted and passed down from their ancestors. This study aims to determine the mathematical material in the élmu palak count, especially in repok countinging pattern (match count of matchmaking before marriage). The method used in this study is the ethnographic method with a qualitative approach and a gradually advanced research flow. The subjects used in this study are limited to five people from different sub-districts determined using purposive sampling technique. The study found that there are a variety of counting patterns, but in general, the calculation elements consist of the name and/or day of birth. Other than that, there is relevance to high school mathematics material, one of which is the material relations and functions, residual theorem, and modulo.

Abstract

This study aims to develop a Student Worksheet (LKS) based on Realistic Mathematics Education (RME) with a Sundanese cultural context to enhance students' numeracy literacy skills. The research background stems from the low numeracy literacy of students, attributed to conventional mathematics teaching methods that have not optimally developed these competencies. The research method employs Research and Development (R&D) using the ADDIE development model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). Validation results by material experts indicate that the LKS is highly feasible, with an average score of 90.53%, while validation by teaching material experts yields an average score of 95.42% (also categorized as highly valid). The practicality of the LKS was assessed based on teacher evaluations, scoring an average of 93.33%, and student questionnaire responses, with an average score of 82.78%. Effectiveness tests conducted at SMPN 3 Sukabumi City demonstrated a significant improvement in students' numeracy literacy, marked by an average n-gain score of 60%. Based on these findings, it is concluded that the RME-based LKS with a Sundanese cultural context is feasible and effective as a learning support tool to enhance students' numeracy literacy
