Abstract

Learning physics that was held showed that most students seem less interested, less passionate and tend to be inactive. So that the value obtained by students were also less than the maximum. The low yield studying physics students was one caused by a medium of learning physics teachers use less varied. Therefore, teachers need media that can be used to describe it. Macromedia Flash animation through the abstract for the students can be shown to the presence of students, that were expected to improve learning outcomes. Therefore it was necessary the use of media-assisted learning Macromedia Flash animation on learning physics. This type of research was the study of true-experimental with research design is Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design. Subjects were students of class ten of SMA. Data acquisition techniques including observation, documentation, interviews and tests. Data analysis technique that used was the independent sample t-test with SPSS 22 and N-gain analysis. Based on the results and discussion can be concluded as follows: 1) There was significant influence student learning outcomes which apply assisted learning media Macromedia Flash animation in learning physics class X SMA and 2) media-assisted learning Macromedia Flash animations were categorized quite effective. With the value of N-gain of 0.57 is included in the criteria of effectiveness of the medium.Keyword: Learning Physics, assessment, macromedia flash.

Abstract

This study is about the characteristics of Physics Module to improve students of Senior High School reasoning ability-based on Multi-representation. The problem of the study is how characteristics of Physics Modules Based on Multi-representation to improve students ability to reason? This problem is described in two study questions. First, is the Physics Module based on Multi-representation contains examples of the application context of the image phenomenon of physics? Second, how is the writing pattern of Physics Module? This study is about Physics module development based on Multi-representation, using the mix method model of investigation that collecting qualitative data, then construct the draft Module Physics, so the Module Physics ready to be validated. Subjects in this study is a Physics module which can improve the reasoning ability of students in Senior High School. While respondents were Senior High School students majoring in science at the students in Senior High School. Data collection techniques are observations, questionnaires, and documents. Data described in qualitative research. The results showed that the physics module based on Multi-representation contains examples of application of the principle of material in the context of the image physical phenomenon ; and has a certain writing pattern, which has a chapter title sequence, sub-chapter title, instructions for use, a description of the material, sample questions, questions test capabilities, and bibliography.

Abstract

The flipped classroom learning model is one of the learning models that can be applied during the Covid-19 pandemic. The flipped classroom learning model can be applied to mixed learning, namely between limited face-to-face learning and distance learning. This study aims to improve the competence of class IX students at UPTD SMP Negeri 1 Konang Bangkalan in 2021 in understanding transformation through flipped classroom learning during the Covid-19 pandemic. The research subjects were students of class IX-B semester 1 of the academic year 2021/2022 with a total of 22 students, consisting of 11 male students and 11 female students. This research is a collaborative classroom action research, which is practical based on real problems carried out in two cycles of PAOR stages (Planning, Acting, Observing, and Reflecting). The data collection techniques used are tests and non-tests which include tests, observations, and discussions. Based on the results of the study, it was found that through flipped classroom learning during the Covid-19 pandemic, data on material mastery was obtained from cycle I to cycle II, from 60.30 to 72.27 or an increase of 11.97 points (up 19.85%). Thus, it can be concluded that through flipped classroom learning during the Covid-19 pandemic, it can improve students' competence in understanding transformation.

Abstract

Scientific argumentation is one of the skills students really need in this century. Learning science by involving argumentation skills will provide opportunities for students to build knowledge and understanding with all the right information, link between stigmas, and improve thinking skills. The reality in the field is that students still have difficulty in developing their argumentation skills. In an effort to improve scientific argumentation skills, several learning innovations are needed that can go hand in hand with indicators of scientific argumentation skills in building students' familiarity with these skills. Therefore, this study aims to determine the effect of using the controversial issues-based Problem-Based Learning model on students' scientific argumentation skills. The sample used in this study was 64 class VII students of SMP N 7 Jember with a quasi-experimental research design in which the control class and the experimental class were randomly selected. Students' argumentation skills were measured using a post-test after several science learning meetings were held by applying the problem-based learning model accompanied by controversial issues in the experimental class. The results showed that there were differences in scientific argumentation skills in the experimental class using PBL learning based on controversial issues. Evidenced by the significant influence of controversial issues-based PBL on students' scientific argumentation skills based on accumulated data on the average mean value in the experimental group (79.94) and in the control class (62.82), data on improving scientific argumentation skills is strengthened by the value of the independent t-test. In the t-test sig.(2-tailed) is at 0.000 where <0.05 this indicates that there is a difference between the control class and the experimental class.

Abstract

Argumentasi ilmiah merupakan salah satu keterampilan yang sangat dibutuhkan peserta didik untuk abad ini. Pembelajaran IPA dengan melibatkan keterampilan argumentasi akan memberikan kesempatan kepada peserta didik untuk membangun pengetahuan dan pemahaman dengan segala informasi yang tepat, mengaitkan antara stigma, dan meningkatkan keterampilan berpikir. Realita di lapangan siswa masih kesulitan dalam mengembangkan keterampilan argumentasinya. Dalam upaya meningkatkan keterampilan argumentasi ilmiah, diperlukan beberapa inovasi pembelajaran yang dapat berjalan beriringan dengan indikator keterampilan argumentasi ilmiah dalam membangun keakraban siswa dengan keterampilan tersebut. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan model Problem-Based Learning berbasis controversial issues terhadap keterampilan argumentasi ilmiah siswa. Sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 64 siswa kelas VII SMP N 7 Jember dengan desain penelitian quasi eksperimen dimana kelas kontrol dan kelas eksperimen dipilih secara acak. Keterampilan argumentasi siswa diukur menggunakan post-test setelah dilakukan beberapa pertemuan pembelajaran IPA dengan menerapkan model problem-based learning disertai dengan controversial issues pada kelas eksperimen. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terdapat perbedaan keterampilan argumentasi ilmiah pada kelas eksperimen dengan memakai pembelajaran PBL berbasis controversial issues. Dibuktikan dengan adanya pengaruh signifikan PBL berbasis controversial issues terhadap keterampilan argumentasi ilmiah siswa berdasarkan akumulasi data rata-rata nilai mean pada kelompok kelas eksperimen (79.94) serta pada kelas kontrol (62.82), data peningkatan keterampilan argumentasi ilmiah diperkuat dengan nilai independent t-test. Dalam uji t-test sig.(2-tailed) berada di angka 0.000 dimana < 0.05 hal tersebut menandakan adanya perbedaan antarkelas kontrol maupun kelas eksperimen.

Abstract

Abstract: Creative thinking skills are needed, especially science lessons based on experimental activities, data collection, observation and inference to get original results. Static electricity and dynamic electricity are difficult branches of natural science, as evidenced by the low learning outcomes. Need proper learning resources to develop students' creative thinking skills. This study aims to test the effectiveness of interactive e-modules based on static and dynamic electricity Google sites to improve students' creative thinking skills. This research was conducted descriptively using the Addie model for 9th grade students at 3 Madrasahs in Lumajang district, the research variables were e-module and creative thinking skills, data were obtained from tested the effectiveness of the e-module. The results of the analysis show that the e-module is valid with a percentage of 78%, and the average N-Gain score for creative thinking skills is 75.21 (high) in the experimental class and 65.68 (moderate) in the control class. This study proves that interactive e-modules can improve students' creative thinking skills at 3 Madrasahs from medium to high categories. Keywords: E-module, Google sites, static electricity, dynamic electricity, creative thinking skills. Abstrak: Keterampilan berpikir kreatif sangat diperlukan, utamanya pelajaran IPA yang berbasis kegiatan eksperimen, pengumpulan data, pengamatan dan menyimpulkan untuk mendapatkan hasil yang orisinil. listrik statis dan listrik dinamis merupakan salah satu cabang ilmu IPA yang sulit, terbukti dengan hasil belajar yang cenderung turun. Perlu sumber belajar tepat untuk mengembangkan ketrampilan berpikir kreatif siswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji efektifitas e-modul interaktif berbasis Google sites listrik statis dan dinamis untuk meningkatkan keterampilan berpikir kreatif siswa. Penelitian ini dilakukan secara diskriptif menggunakan model Addie pada siswa kelas 9 di 3 Madrasah dikabupaten Lumajang, variable penelitian e-modul dan keterampilan berpikir kreatif, data diperoleh dari hasil uji keefektifan e-modul. Hasil analisis menunjukkan e-modul valid dengan prosentase 78%, dan  rata-rata N-Gain score ketrampilan berpikir kreatif 75,21 (tinggi) pada kelas eksperimen  dan 65,68 (sedang) pada kelas kontrol. Penelitian ini membuktikan e-modul interraktif mampu meningkatkan keterampilan berpikir kreatif siswa pada 3 Madrasah dari katagori sedang menjadi tinggi. Kata Kunci : E-modul, Google sites, listrik statis, listrik dinamis, keterampilan berpikir kreatif.

Abstract

Pesatnya perkembangan ilmu pengetahuan di abad 21 menuntut siswa untuk beradaptasi dan mengikuti perkembangan tersebut. Guru pun harus mampu mengembangkan keterampilan abad 21 untuk menciptakan generasi emas melalui pendidikan yang bermutu. Para guru di Gugus Sekolah Dasar Kecamatan Srono Kabupaten Banyuwangi kurang terampil dalam mendesain, mengembangkan, dan mengimplementasikan alat peraga dan perangkat pembelajaran inovatif yang mengintegrasikan berbagai kegiatan belajar dan penilaian. Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan dalam mendesain alat peraga dan perangkat pembelajaran inovatif bagi guru di Gugus Sekolah Dasar Kecamatan Srono Kabupaten Banyuwangi. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini meliputi tiga tahap, yaitu persiapan, pelaksanaan, dan evaluasi. Hasil dari kegiatan ini yaitu para peserta sangat tertarik dan memiliki minat yang tinggi untuk mendesain alat peraga untuk digunakan dalam proses pembelajaran. Meningkatnya kreatifitas guru dalam menyiapkan media pembelajaran, meningkatnya pengetahuan guru tentang desain dan menggunakan alat peraga dan meningkatkan kesadaran guru untuk berinovasi dalam pembelajaran khususnya penggunaan alat peraga yang memegang peranan penting dalam proses pembelajaran. Melalui kegiatan ini, terjadi peningkatan keterampilan guru dalam mendesain alat peraga dan perangkat pembelajaran inovatif

Abstract

Sugarcane is one of the plantation products in the Jember area. Therefore, the processing of sugar cane as renewable energy can be used as a source of learning. The purpose of this research was to describe and analyze student responses profile by using teaching materials about the utilization of sugarcane processing as renewable energy in physics learning. This research method was descriptive research. The research respondents were 30 students who took integrated science course in odd semester 2016/2017 at the Physics Education Study Program, University of Jember. Data collection techniques using student response questionnaires, observation and documentation. Data analysis techniques use percentages. The results of this research indicate that student responses to the use of teaching materials about the utilization of sugarcane processing as renewable energy in physics learning amounted to 83,87% with a very positive category. Based on the analysis, it can be seen that students gave a very positive response using teaching materials about sugarcane processing as renewable energy in physics learning. Thus, the using of teaching materials about sugarcane processing as renewable energy can improve student learning motivation, mastery of concepts, scientific attitudes and environmental awareness.

Abstract

Stunting sufferers in Jember Regency have increased from 17,344 in2018 to 19,870 in 2019. The purpose of this study was to determine the potential ofedamame soyghurt as an alternative complementary food for stunting sufferers. Theexperimental design used was a completely randomized design (CRD) with differentcombinations of treatments on edamame juice, skim milk, and starter. The result wasanalyse of organoleptic include taste, color, aroma, and texture with hedonic testusing 10 panelists non-skilled. Based on the result of organoleptic, the average valueof preference ranges from taste between 3.2-3.4 (slightly like to like), aroma 3.6-3.9(slightly like to like), color 3.1-4.2 (slightly like to like) like), texture 3.5-4 (slightlylike to like). The best treatment was in the combination of edamame soyghurttreatment in the proportions of skim milk 150 (%w/v), edamame juice 730 (%v/v),and sucrose 50 (%w/v) with starter 70 (%w/v).

Abstract

Jambi Province Regional Regulation Number 3 of 2014 concerning Public Information Services for the Implementation of Regional Government is a follow-up to the provisions of Law Number 14 of 2014 concerning Public Information Disclosure (UU KIP). However, the provisions regarding the arrangements for submitting requests for information dispute resolution to the Information Commission based on Regional Regulation Number 3 of 2014. This research is normative legal research with a comparative legal approach and statutory approach. From the results of the research it is known that for the provision of public information it turns out that the requirements and time limits specified in the Perda actually exceed the provisions specified in UU KIP. Meanwhile for the submission of an application for settlement of information disputes by the Petitioner to the Information Commission, it turns out that the Perda does not contain clear and complete arrangements as stipulated in the UU KIP.
