Abstract

This study aims to analyze the contribution of Human Resource Management to the Business Performance of Entrepreneurs. This research is a case study at the UKM association in Purwokerto and respondent from this study were 84 from UKM association. This study used data analysis techniques namely PLS (Partial Least Square) analyisis using Smart PLS 3.0. The results showed that recruitment and selection had effect on business performance, training and development had effect on business performance. The results also show that compensation has no significant effect on business performance. The results showed that performance appraisal has no significant effect on business performance. Basically the Human Resource Management function has a contribution to the business performance of SMEs. This is evidenced by the value of R2 49,2% of the variability in the construction of SME business performance is influenced by recruitment and selection factors, training and development, and performance appraisal. Abstract

The Theory of Planned Behavior (TPB) is one theory that has been widely applied in various fields of behavioral research, and several studies have proven that Islamic entrepreneurs must have characteristics. This study examines the antecedent of MSME performance from the point of view of the characteristics of Islamic entrepreneurs. This research was conducted in MSMEs in Purwokerto City on the grounds that there is still a lack of application of Islamic entrepreneurial characteristics in SME activities. The purpose of this study was to examine the effect of the characteristics of Islamic entrepreneurs (honesty, willpower, keeping promises, orderly administration, praying, paying zakat and alms, having leadership spirit) on the performance of MSMEs. The sample used was 87 Muslim MSMEs in Purwokerto. Primary data collection techniques are observation and discussion, direct observation in the field using a distributed questionnaire. The data analysis method used is Partial Least Square (PLS). The results showed that the unsupported hypothesis related to the variables of willingness to work hard, keep promises, Islamic leadership and pay zakat had no effect on the performance of Muslim SMEs in Purwokerto. Meanwhile, orderly administration, honesty and prayer support the performance of Muslim SMEs in Purwokerto, thus supporting the acceptance of the hypothesis.

Abstract

This study examines the effect of profitability, capital structure and dividend policy on firm value with firm size as a moderating variable. This study's population were all consumer goods industry sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange during 2015-2019, which are 63 companies. The sample selection in this study was carried out by purposive sampling. Based on the criteria, 14 companies were used as samples. The research method used in this study is the multiple regression analysis. This study indicates that profitability, capital structure, and dividend policy have a positive and significant effect on firm value. The results of this study also indicate that firm size weakly moderates the effect of dividend policy on firm value, but firm size is unable to moderate the effect of profitability and capital structure on firm value. Abstract

MSMEs have become the backbone and buffer zone that saves the country from the economic downturn. However, the current COVID-19 pandemic has left many MSMEs helpless. One by one they fell quickly. They lost their market due to the weakening of people's purchasing power due to the decline in economic activity during large-scale social restrictions in a number of areas. The impact of this pandemic was also felt by Banyumas Regency, whose MSMEs were also affected. So that a strategy to increase the competitiveness of MSMEs in Banyumas is needed to survive during the covid-19 pandemic. The purpose of this study is to find out strategies to increase the competitiveness of SMEs. Knowing the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats of SMEs. Knowing the problems in MSMEs and strategies to increase MSME competitiveness to achieve high competitiveness. This study uses descriptive methods and SWOT analysis to obtain a strategy to increase the competitiveness of MSMEs during the covid-19 pandemic. MSMEs in Banyumas Regency is located in square I, meaning that in this position MSMEs in Banyumas Regency are very supportive of aggressive growth strategies to gain company advantages in order to compete with other business entities. Abstract

This research aims to find out the effect of organizational culture, organizational commitment on employee performance with job satisfaction as an intervening variables at PT Bank Syariah Mandiri Jakarta Head Office. The population in this research were all employees of PT Bank Syariah Mandiri Jakarta Head Office before merger to PT Bank Syariah Indonesia, as many as 150 employees, the sampling in this research used nonprobability sampling method with Incidental Sampling technique with the number sample were 100 respondents. Data obtained from respondents with a research instrument using a questionnaire. The analysis technique in this research used Partial Least Square (PLS) analysis Based on the research results, it shows the acceptance of the first hypothesis that organizational culture variables have a significant positive effect on employee performance. The results of the study show the rejection of the second hypothesis that the variable organizational commitment has a negative effect on employee performance. The research shows the results of the acceptance of the third hypothesis that organizational culture variables have a significant positive effect on job satisfaction. The results showed that the fourth hypothesis was not accepted that the variable organizational commitment had a significant negative effect on job satisfaction. The results showed that the fifth hypothesis was not accepted that the job satisfaction variable had no effect on employee performance. The research results, it can be concluded that job satisfaction cannot mediate the influence of organizational culture on employee performance. The result also showed that job satisfaction cannot mediate the relationship between organizational commitment and employee performance. Abstract

This research aims to analyse the effect of job satisfaction, organizational culture and work stress on organizational commitment to civil servants at the regional secretariat of Pemalang Regency. The population in this study were all Civil Servants of the Pemalang Regency Regional Secretariat, as many as 170 employees. The sampling in this study used the nonprobability sampling method with the incidental sampling technique with a sample of 100 respondents. Data obtained from respondents with research instruments using questionnaires. Technique of analysis in this research used Partial Least Square (PLS). Based on the research showed job satisfaction, organizational culture and work stress have a significant positive effect on organizational commitment. The research shows that job satisfaction variable has a significant positive effect on organizational commitment. The showed that organizational culture variable has no significant effect on organizational commitment. The results also show the work stress had significant effect on organizational commitment. Abstract

The aims of this IbM event are to give skill and knowledge about design and labelling food and beverage. The IbM was organized on food UMKM in Tanjung in which has 28 person. This event was performed by an economic and business faculty team of Muhammadiyah University of Purwokerto. The results of this IbM events is added knowledge and skill value about interested design and labelling of food and beverage and also added economic value of those product.

Abstract

Kesehatan mental, merupakan hal pokok dalam unsur jiwa manusia, yang kondisinya akan membentuk bagaimana perilaku yang nampak. Lembaga pemasyarakatan adalah suatu wadah atau tempat bagi narapidana untuk berproses memperbaiki diri, sehingga dapat kembali diterima  di tengah masyarakat. Untuk membekali warga binaan maka diberlukan pendampingan dari sisi religiusitas melalui kajian dakwah Islam bagi warga binaan Lapas Kelas IIA Purwokerto. Metode yang digunakan dalam pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah dengan memberikan ceramah dalam bentuk kajian dakwah Islam dan diskusi interaktif bersama warga binaan. Pelaksanaan pengabdian diawali dengan membaca Al Qur-an bersama kemudian dilanjutkan dengan memberikan materi mengenai hati-hati dalam memilih teman. Hasil kegiatan menunjukan antusiasme warga binaan dan terlihat peserta aktif dan semangat mengikuti hingga selesai agenda kegiatan. Perilaku dan sikap warga binaan diharapkan dapat lebih positif dan terkontrol sehingga warga binaan senantiasa melakukan hal-hal yang jauh lebih baik dan selalu ingat kepada Allah SWT. Keywords : mental health, warga binaan, hati-hati memilih teman Abstract. Mental health, is the main thing in the element of the human soul, whose condition will shape how behavior appears. Penitentiary is a place for prisoners to cultivate themselves to be better, so that they can be accepted back into society. To equip the inmates, assistance from the side of religiosity is needed through the study of Islamic da'wah for the inmates of the Class IIA Purwokerto Prison. The method used in this community service is to give lectures in the form of Islamic da'wah studies and interactive discussions with the inmates. The implementation of the service begins with reading the Qur'an together and then continues by giving material about being careful in choosing friends. The results of the activity showed the enthusiasm of the inmates and the participants seemed active and enthusiastic to follow until the activity agenda was completed. The behavior and attitudes of the prisoners are expected to be more positive and controlled so that the prisoners always do things that are much better and always remember Allah SWT. Keywords: mental health, prisoners, choose friends carefully

Abstract

Ganyong (Canna Edulis) merupakan sumber pangan potensial yang memiliki kandungan karbohidrat dan gizi yang tinggi. Namun, pada umumnya pemanfaatan umbi ganyong hanya sebatas direbus untuk dijadikan camilan, selain itu budidaya ganyong oleh petani masih sangat terbatas. Nilai lebih umbi ganyong, terutama umbi ganyong merah adalah dapat dibuat tepung dalam berbagai bentuk produk patiseri. Tepung ganyong merah atau TEGAME berpotensi menjadi substitusi dari tepung terigu. Luaran yang diharapkan dari program ini yaitu dapat meningkatakan pengetahuan dan ketrampilan masyarakat di desa Windujaya, Kecamatan Kedungbanteng, Kabupaten Banyumas dalam mengolah dan memanfaatkan umbi ganyong merah serta dapat menciptakan produk baru berbahan dasar tepung ganyong merah menjadi makanan yang dapat dijual maupun dikonsumsi warga setempat. Kata Kunci: Canna Edulis, Ganyong Merah, Tepung.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to examine the role of education level, transformational leadership, and self-efficacy on the performance of village government officials in Purwojati District, Banyumas Regency. The sample came from the entire population, namely village government officials in Purwojati Regency totaling 180 respondents. This study uses a quantitative approach method. Social cognitive theory is used as the basis for the theory of the relationship between the variables studied. The data were processed using multiple linear regression analysis and the results showed that the level of education and self-efficacy had a positive and significant effect on performance, while transformational leadership had no effect on performance. Based on the test results of the adjusted R2 coefficient of determination of 55.90%. Keywords: Education Level, Transformational Leadership, Self-Efficacy, Performance
