Abstract

Income inequality and poverty are still serious problems in Indonesia's economic development. The Islamic economic approach offers a comprehensive solution through the optimization of social instruments such as zakat, infaq, and waqf. This study discusses the great potential of zakat and waqf in Indonesia in the context of poverty alleviation and equitable distribution of welfare. Based on data from the National Amil Zakat Agency (BAZNAS) and the Indonesian Waqf Agency (BWI), the potential for national zakat reaches more than IDR 300 trillion per year, while the potential for money waqf is estimated at up to IDR 180 trillion. Although the realization of the collection is still far from this figure, various programs such as Zakatpreneur, educational scholarships, free health services, and productive waqf have made a real contribution in improving the standard of living of the mustahik and strengthening the microeconomic sector. This study emphasizes that structured, professional, and sustainable management of Islamic social funds can be an important pillar in suppressing social inequality and accelerating the achievement of people's welfare. Strategic collaboration between the government, zakat, and waqf management institutions, as well as active participation of the community, is needed to realize this potential to the maximum.

Abstract

Zakat memiliki peran penting sebagai instrumen keuangan sosial Islam untuk mengurangi kemiskinan dan ketimpangan. Meski potensi zakat di Indonesia sangat besar, realisasi penghimpunannya masih rendah. Undang-Undang No. 23 Tahun 2011 diterbitkan untuk memperkuat tata kelola zakat melalui penetapan BAZNAS sebagai lembaga resmi dan penguatan peran LAZ. Studi ini menganalisis perkembangan regulasi dan implementasi UU tersebut dengan pendekatan policy implementation dan governance theory. Hasil kajian menunjukkan masih adanya tantangan seperti kurangnya sosialisasi, partisipasi publik yang rendah, dan lemahnya sinergi antar lembaga. Diperlukan penguatan kolaborasi, digitalisasi, dan peningkatan kapasitas kelembagaan guna mewujudkan pengelolaan zakat yang efektif dan berdampak.

Abstract

The empowerment program for Sipange Village aimed to enhance the local community's digital marketing and e-commerce skills to improve the economic value of their local products. This community service program was driven by the challenge of limited market access for the village's unique offerings, such as recycled metal crafts. The program utilized a participatory approach, involving needs assessments, intensive training, and post-training mentoring. Training sessions focused on introducing basic digital marketing concepts, creating and managing e-commerce accounts, and utilizing social media platforms like Facebook and Instagram for product promotion. The results showed a significant improvement in participants' understanding of digital marketing and their ability to create engaging marketing content. The participants successfully created e-commerce accounts and optimised product descriptions with high-quality visuals. In addition, local sales are expected to increase by 25% within three months, with some products reaching new markets in major cities such as Medan and Jakarta. Challenges faced, such as low digital literacy among older participants and unstable internet access, were overcome through personalised support and collaborative infrastructure development with local governments. The program also fostered collaboration among participants through peer-support networks and encouraged entrepreneurial mindsets, enabling the community to embrace innovation and competitiveness. The initiative aligns with national goals for rural digital transformation and sustainable development by promoting inclusive and sustainable economic growth. With continued support, the Sipange Village model holds potential as a replicable framework for empowering other rural communities through technology-driven marketing strategies.

Abstract

This research examines the concept of rational consumption and Islamic ethics in Monzer Kahf's perspective, especially in understanding the consumption patterns of digital products. In the context of growing digitalization, the consumption of digital products is an inevitable phenomenon, but it needs to be based on Islamic principles. Kahf emphasizes the importance of balance between material needs and spiritual values, as well as the principles of halal and thayyib in every aspect of life, including digital consumption. This research uses a qualitative approach with descriptive analysis, referring to primary sources such as the Qur'an and Hadith, as well as relevant secondary data. The results show that consumption patterns of digital products in Islam must follow the principle of rationality, avoid excessive consumptive behavior, and emphasize social responsibility through the concept of zakat and philanthropy. Kahf's thinking provides a strong basis in formulating consumption ethics in accordance with Islamic guidance, as well as presenting relevant solutions for modern societies that are increasingly connected to the digital world.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the lack of knowledge and promotion of society about Islamic banks is still minimal so that the people of Payagoti Village understand more about conventional banks. So that more people use traditional bank products compared to sharia even though the community already knows that these conventional banks contain usury, so the problem formulation in this study is whether or not the influence of knowledge and promotion simultaneously influences the interests of the people of Payagoti Village, Portibi District using Islamic bank products. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of knowledge and promotion directly affect the interests of the people of Payagoti Village, Portibi Subdistrict using Islamic banking products. The theory used in this research is about the understanding of Islamic banks, Islamic bank products, fundraising products, fund distribution products, knowledge, promotions, and interests. This research is quantitative research. The data source used is primary data. Data collection techniques used were interviews and questionnaires with a sample of 86 people—data processing using SPSS 23. The analysis technique used is the validity test, reliability test, normality test, classic assumption test, multiple linear regression analysis, coefficient of determination, and hypothesis testing.The results showed that the knowledge and promotion variables simultaneously had an influence on the community's interest in Payagoti Village, Portibi Subdistrict using Islamic bank products.

Abstract

The role of technology in the development and provision of new products is very important in this competition, therefore Bank SUMUT Syariah launched Mobile Banking or SUMUT Mobile service products. In response to this, Bank SUMUT Syariah strives to improve and maintain the quality of services provided to attract customers. The problem in this research is how the strategy of SUMUT Syariah bank in improving the Quality of Mobile Banking Services. The purpose of this study was to determine how the strategy of Bank SUMUT Syariah in improving the quality of mobile banking services. This research is a type of descriptive qualitative research with interview techniques , documentation and literature study, data processing techniques data examination, data reconstruction and data systematization.The results of the research carried out are Strategies in improving the Quality of Mobile Banking Services. The Bank presents various offers such as a gift program to the public who become customers at PT. Bank SUMUT Syariah Panyabungan branch office. Abstract

Penelitian ini membahas tentang fungsi sosial bank syariah dalam pengelolaan dana zakat, infaq, shadaqah, waqaf, dan dana kebajikan. Bank syariah dapat berperan sebagai penerima dan penyalur dana sosial sesuai syariat, termasuk zakat, infaq, shadaqah, waqaf, dan hibah. Fungsi ini merupakan fungsi yang diterapkan dalam Lembaga Baitul Maal pada masa Rasulullah, Khulafaur Rasyidin dan masa sahabat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan tingkat pengetahuan mahasiswa UIN Syekh Ali Hasan Ahmad Addary Padangsidimpuan terhadap fungsi sosial bank syariah. Penelitian yang dilakukan menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif. Subjek penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa perbankan syariah UIN Syekh Ali Hasan Ahmad Addary Padangsidimpuan. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu wawancara terstruktur dimana peneliti menanyakan kepada informan hal-hal yang telah disiapkan sebelumnya. Analisis data yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif, Hasil penelitian menyebutkan bahwa mahasiswa memiliki tingkat pengetahuan yang baik terhadap fungsi sosial bank syariah, ditandai dengan adanya penjelasan yang dipaparkan oleh mahasiswa pada setiap pertanyaan yang diajukan oleh peneliti pada saat proses wawancara. Studi ini memberikan wawasan yang berharga mengenai pengetahuan mahasiswa terhadap fungsi sosial bank syariah dan relevansinya dalam konteks pendidikan dan sosial.

Abstract

   This study aims to analyze the performance of BAZNAS in South Tapanuli Regency in optimizing the collection, distribution, and utilization of zakat. The research method uses a descriptive qualitative approach with data collection techniques using interview and observation techniques. The subjects in this study were BAZNAS administrators in South Tapanuli Regency. The results of this study indicate that the performance of zakat collection, BAZNAS South Tapanuli Regency has two strategies, namely a socialization strategy by making a decree Zakat Management Unit to collect zakat among the community and an appeal strategy by making an appeal to coordinate with the treasurer of each Regional Apparatus Organization (OPD) to distribute professional zakat to BAZNAS. In the performance of zakat distribution, BAZNAS South Tapanuli Regency distributes zakat in two forms, namely consumptive zakat and productive zakat. In the performance of zakat utilization, BAZNAS South Tapanuli Regencyempowering productive zakat, namely providing business capital assistance in the form of revolving fund loans. Revolving fund loans are given to MSME group mustahik and fostered farmer groups.Keywords: Performance, Optimization, BAZNAS

Abstract

This research is a quantitative research using primary data and secondary data. Data collection techniques used are questionnaires and interviews. Sampling in this study used a random sampling technique with a total of 30 respondents which work as lecturer in Islamic Economic and Business Faculty of IAIN Padangsidimpuan. Data analysis used is validity test, reliability test, basic assumption test (descriptive analysis test, normality test, linearity test) classical assumption test (multicollinearity test, heteroscedasticity test) hypothesis test (t test, F test, R2 coefficient of determination test) and multiple regression test. To facilitate the process of analyzing the data of this research, it is assisted by the SPSS 23 program. The results of the t-test indicate that there is no partial effect of convenience on the use of the ZISWAF sharing application on BSI mobile banking, there is an influence of trust in the use of the ZISWAF sharing application on BSI's mobile banking, there is a beneficial effect on the use of the ZISWAF sharing application on BSI's mobile banking. Simultaneously, there is an effect of convenience, trust and benefits on the use of the ZISWAF sharing application on BSI mobile banking.Keywords: Ease, Trust, Benefits, Sharing ZISWAF

Abstract

Abstrak Badan Amil Zakat Nasional (BAZNAS) merupakan lembaga pengelola zakat yang dibentuk oleh pemerintah yang mempunyai tugas dalam penghimpunan, pendistribusian, dan pendayagunaan zakat. Salah satu faktor keberhasilan pengelolaan zakat ialah kinerja amil. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana kinerja BAZNAS Kabupaten Tapanuli Selatan dalam mengoptimalkan penghimpunan, pendistribusian, dan pendayagunaan zakat. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif. Adapun hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa kinerja penghimpunan zakat, BAZNAS Kabupaten Tapanuli Selatan memiliki dua strategi yaitu strategi sosialisasi dengan membuat SK UPZ untuk mengumpulkan zakat di kalangan masyarakat dan strategi imbauan dengan membuat imbauan berkoordinasi dengan Bendahara di setiap OPD untuk menyalurkan zakat profesi ke BAZNAS. Dalam kinerja pendistribusian zakat, BAZNAS Kabupaten Tapanuli Selatan melakukan pendistribusian zakat dengan dua bentuk yaitu zakat konsumtif dan zakat produktif.Kata Kunci: Penghimpunan, Pendistribusian, Pendayagunaan, Kinerja.                        AbstractThe National Amil Zakat Agency (BAZNAS) is a zakat management institution formed by the government which has the task of collecting, distributing and utilizing zakat.
