Abstract

Sharia banking are interested in getting involved channeling financing to the real sector of SMEs, including Bank BNI Syariah Makassar and Bank Panin Dubai Syariah Makassar. The purpose of this study is to determine the development of SMEs financing provided by sharia banking. Then to find out the role of sharia banking for the distribution financing for SMEs in the city of Makassar. As well as to find out the form of integration of the development of the department of sharia banking UIN Alauddin Makassar, through the distribution of financing for SMEs in sharia banking institution. This type of research is a field research, by taking data directly. The nature of the research is qualitative. The data source uses primary data and secondary data related to the research theme. The data analysis technique used in this research is qualitative descriptive, which describes the objects in the study. The results of this study indicate the development of the distribution of financing in sharia banking reaching 15.93 percent. Then Bank BNI Syariah and Bank Panin Dubai Syariah Makassar channeled financing to SMEs sector, reaching 20 percent. The form of integration in the development of departement sharia banking  is by presenting courses on object management of financing sharia banking and courses on SMEs business.Keywords: Sharia banking, SMEs, and Departement of Sharia Banking UIN Alauddin Makassar

Abstract

The development of Islamic economics in Indonesia continues to grow and is much in demand by the wider community. Islamic economics is expected to contribute to the economy in this country, including the realization of Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Islamic economics has many financial instruments including Sharia Banking, Sharia industries financial of non-bank (IKNB Syariah) and social fund raising institutions. This financial institution continues to grow and develop, the sharia banking market share reaches 5.8 percent, the IKNB Syariah products are increasing, and the collection of social funds through the Funding of Zakat institution makes social funds well organized both in their collection and distribution. People can access all instruments of Islamic economic institutions to help their economy. This research is a literature study and uses uses qualitative descriptive analysis techniques. This study describes the growth of Islamic economic institutions and the economic role of Islam for the realization of the SDGs. The results of this study show that sharia banking continue to experience asset growth in the period of 2017. Sharia banking has assets reached 477,327,000,000,000 or grew by 12.53%. The growth of Sharia IKNB increased in 2018 by 35 institutions or grew by 64.81%. In the collection of funds there was a growth of 17.48 for infaq and shadaqah, while other social funds grew by 120.86%. Islamic economics and all its instruments, including Islamic economic institutions consisting of sharia banking, sharia IKNB and social fund collection institutions have the same purpose as the SGDs concept that the government wants to achieve. So that the existence of Islamic economic institutions has an important role to reach the SDGs especially to achieve economic prosperity and equality of better livelihoods and poverty alleviation.

Abstract

The research objective is to describe the development of Islamic bank financing for SMEs, the development of sharia fintech, and the form of integration between sharia banking and the development of sharia fintech for the development of SMEs. The research method used is qualitative, related to sharia bank financing. Field research on two sharia bankings in the city of Makassar. Primary data sources through direct interviews, and secondary data from data presented from the financial services authority (OJK). Data collection techniques through interviews, documentation, and literature studies from several sources. The data analysis technique used is descriptive qualitative, by describing the development of sharia banking financing product to SMEs sector, the development of sharia fintech, and the form of integration of sharia banking and sharia fintech in the development of SMEs. The results of this study show that the development of sharia banking financing product in 2019 until the 2020 market grew by 15.93 percent, for sharia banking the type of Islamic Financing Bank (BPRS) grew 4.57 percent, while Islamic banks with the type of Sharia Business Unit (UUS) for financing trips for SMEs decreased -2.7 percent. The development of Sharia Fintech, a peer-to-peer (P2P) lending type of fintech. The number of borrower accounts increased by 325.95 percent, the number of borrower accounts in December 2019 was 18,569,123, and the number of guarantors increased by 258.56 percent with the number of loans in December 2019 of IDR 81.50 trillion. There are 12 registered sharia fintech companies. The total assets of Islamic fintech are 50,591,727,786 rupiahs. Integration between Islamic Banks and Sharia Fintech in developing SMEs needs to be carried out, to increase financial access to the public. The form of integration that can be carried out between Islamic banks and Islamic fintech is a profit-sharing scheme, which can carry out mudharabah or musyarakah contracts. SMEs may need easy access to technology services. Integration in the form of collaboration to empower SMEs.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat merupakan bagian dari Tridharma perguruan tinggi yang harus dilaksanakan. Semenjak kemunculan wabah pandemi covid-19 mengakibatkan banyak kegiatan sedikit berkurang, dan sangat terbatas. Dalam kondisi seperti ini produktifitas tetap harus dilaksanakan, banyak membutuhkan kegiatan untuk kegiatan tetap berjalan di masyarakat. Tujuan dari kegiatan ini untuk meningkatkan literasi keuangan syariah masyarakat. Kemudian untuk meningkatkan kreatifitas di masa pandemic, serta kegiatan sosial untuk masyarakat. Kegiatan ini melalui beberapa tahapan, peninjauan lokasi kegiatan, pengajuan izin kegiatan, penyusunan kegiatan, sampai dengan pelaksanaan kegiatan. Hasil kegiatan ini diharapkan dapatkan meningkatkan literasi keuangan syariah di tengah masyarakat di desa binaan kampung Amanah kota Makassar. Hadirnya barang dari hasil krativitas, serta kegiatan charity berbagai kegiatan untuk masyarakat.

Abstract

Islamic banks as intermediary institutions shall maintain and comply with sharia principles so that in carrying out their business, they will continue to gain trust from the community, especially during the Covid-19 pandemic. The principle that is highly fundamental for the existence of an industry including sharia banks is fiduciary principle. The purpose of this study was to examine the implementation of the fiduciary principle in maintaining customer loyalty amid the Covid-19 pandemic. The research method used in this study was descriptive analysis. The type of data used was secondary data, namely in the form of articles, magazines, research journals, books, and other sources relevant to this study. The data collection technique used was documentation technique. The results of the study showed that the trust given to customers by sharia banks can increase customer loyalty in conducting various transactions. In addition, various efforts also needed to be made by sharia banks in order to maintain customer loyalty in the midst of the current pandemic by improving service quality and maintaining customer perceptions regarding the image of the bank. Therefore, sharia banks must uphold this fiduciary principle in order to prevent banking risks that may occur amidst the COVID-19 pandemic.

Abstract

The risk that have been faced by sharia financial institution is not merely about financial issue but also non-financial. Hence, it is considered as an urgency to be able to implement the risk management in order to conduct the hedging strategy in sharia financial institution, and also to anticipate and ready for further action needed in facing some irrelevant situations which are not according with the expectations and the objectives of the institution. This writing aims to assess the risk management in identifying and in managing of that.  However, because of the complexity of the risk encountered both in financial and non-financial issue; such as operational risk of the use of modern technology services which does increasingly pamper the current millennial clients and that prone to cyber-security threat and thus needs protection. Also economic uncertainty with the state of pandemic covid 19.

Abstract

Sharia banking in Indonesia continues to experience growth, this can be seen from the total assets of sharia banking which has reached 451,202,000,000,000 in 2018. It's just that the market share of sharia banking has not reached 10 percent, but still around 6 percent. The level of public knowledge and literacy about sharia products is also still minimal. Efforts are needed to increase public knowledge and interest in increasing the use of product of sharia banking. Technological advances can be used as a means to increase knowledge about sharia banking system and product. Students are one element that utilizes technology a lot as a medium of learning, especially in increasing knowledge. This research is a field research, which is obtained data through pre-test and post-test activities to 34 students to provide answers to the questions given. This research is qualitative in nature, with direct data collection techniques to student of departement sharia banking UIN Alauddin Makassar. The analysis technique used is descriptive qualitative related to the level of student knowledge and the use of Google classroom in learning. The results of this study show an increase in student knowledge about sharia banking system and product after pre-test and post-test. The average value increase from 78.4 increased to 86.1. The increase in value reached 9.8 percent. Google classroom can be used as a learning medium in the form of providing materials, learning videos, discussions and quizzes. This media can increase the knowledge of sharia banking for students departement of sharia banking UIN Alauddin Makassar about system and product of sharia banking. Abstract

Islamic economics prioritizes the real sector including SMEs, and makes Islamic Economic institutions as supporters and drivers of the real sector. The market share of sharia financial has reached 8.5 percent, and will continue to grow and develop. Since the emergence of the corona virus outbreak, it has eroded and slowed down economic activity, including in the SMEs sector. SMEs are among the ones that have been significantly affected by the corona virus. To restore the economic activities of SMEs, the Islamic Economic Institutions have role to be able to restore the economic activities of SMEs. The purpose of this study is to determine the development of Islamic economic institutions, and to determine the role of Islamic economic institutions in restoring SMEs in the midst of the Covid-19 outbreak. This type of research is library research with qualitative characteristics. Sources of data in this research are secondary data sourced from several institutions that have been presented. The limitation in this study is only for a few Islamic economic institutions related to SMEs. The data analysis technique used in this research is descriptive qualitative. Describing the object of research on the development of Islamic economic institutions and the role of Islamic economic institutions to recover the real sector of SMEs is included in analysis technique. The results of this study indicate the development of Islamic economic institutions. Sharia Financing Banking (BPRS) grew by 349.34 for income, Sharia Microfinance Institutions (LKMS) grew by 11.75 percent for financing, Sharia Peer To Peer Landing (P2P) institutions experienced a decrease in assets by 0.05 percent, and Social institutions, the growth of social fund collection was 48.08 percent at Insisatif Zakat Indonesia (IZI), and the growth in distribution of social funds by 114.27 percent Badan Amil Zakat Nasional (BAZNAS). The role of Islamic economic institutions in the recovery of the real sector of SMEs in the midst of the Covid-19 outbreak, namely optimizing  finance for SMEs, assisting financing customers, providing relief for affected customers, participating in marketing customer products online, maximizing profit sharing system, strengthening of partnerships, and maximizing the distribution of social funds for SMEs economic activities.

Abstract

AbstractIslamic banking now has a legal strength by the presence of law number 21 of 2008 which is very influential for the existence of Islamic banking. Currently the market share of Islamic banking has reached 5 percent of the total national banking. Islamic banking products continue to grow over time;the funds of third-party in the period of June 2016 reached 12,185,860 trillion rupiah with financing funds of 3,027,266 trillion rupiah. This suggests that the existence of inequality especially on financing products of Islamic banks must be optimized byofferingfinancing products to all people, especially to Muslim entrepreneurs in order that they use the products to develop their business. A Muslim businessman, Sunardi Pamella, the owner of Pamella supermarket Yogyakarta has become a customer of Islamic bank and employs its products to develop her businesses. The demand on financing products of Islamic banks is still low, so that Islamic banks need to promote their products to Muslim entrepreneurs. This paper focuses on financing products of Islamic banks and the motivation of Pamella Sunardi as a businessman to usethe products. This is alibrary research and the results show that the number of loan of Islamic banking has grown 6,074 percent or higher than that ofconventional bank. Further, the number of loan is 10.127 percent in BPRS, but in Islamic business unitsis -8.234 percent. Pamella Sunardi uses financing products offered by Islamic Bank because he wants to do business based on Islamic ethics. Besides, he hasa trauma with conventional banks’ products.Keywords: Pamella Sunardi, Financing Products, Islamic Banking. Abstrak Perbankan syari’ah saat ini telah memiliki payung hukum yang kuat dengan hadirnya undang-undang nomor 21 tahun 2008 tentang perbankan syari’ah. Hal ini sangat berpengaruh terhadap eksistensi dari perbankan syari’ah yang semakin diminati oleh banyak kalangan. Saat ini pangsa pasar bank syariah telah mencapai 5 persen dari total perbankan secara nasional. Produk perbankan syariah terus mengalami pertumbuhan dari waktu ke waktu, dana pihak ketiga di Bank Syariah pada periode juni 2016 mencapai 12.185.860 triliyun rupiah dan dana pembiayaan 3.027.266 triliyun rupiah. Hal ini menunjukkan adanya ketimpangan khusunya pada produk pembiayaan di bank syariah harus lebih dioptimalkan. Bank syariah bisa menawarkan produk pembiayaan kepada semua kalangan khususnya kepada para pengusaha muslim untuk digunakan sebagi modal pengembangan usaha. Salah satu pengusaha muslim Pamella Sunardi pemilik supermarket Pamella Yogyakarta menjadi nasabah pembiayaan di bank syariah untuk mengembangkan usahanya. Adapun pertumbuhan pembiayaan di bank syariah masih sangat minim dibutuhkan upaya bagi bank syariah agar menawarkan kepada para pengusaha muslim.Batasan dalam tulisan ini difokuskan pada produk pembiayaan di bank syariah serta ketertarikan pengusaha Pamella Sunardi menggunakan produk pembiayaan di bank syariah. Tulisan ini menggunakan studi pustaka kajian dari berbagai sumber. Dalam tulisan ini menggunakan jenis penelitian kualitatif. Hasil dari tulisan ini menunjukkan bahwa jumlah rekening pembiayaan di bank syariah mengalami pertumbuhan 6,074 persen pada bank umum syariah, kemudian 10,127 persen pada BPRS, sedangakan pada unit usaha syariah turun -8,234 persen. Kemudian ketertarikan Pamella Sunardi menggunakan produk pembiayaan di Bank Syariah, pertama menerapkan etika bisnis islam pada usahanya, kedua karena pernah mengalami trauma menggunakan produk bank konvensional.Kata Kunci: Pamella Sunardi, Produk Pembiayaan, dan Bank Syariah

Abstract

The impact of the Covid-19 outbreak made some business activities experienced retarding. It is required that other institutions can support the development of SMES amid the Covid-19 outbreak, one of which is the sharia fintech. The purpose of this research is to know the development of Sharia fintech and to know the pattern of development of SMES through Sharia fintech. This research is a library research, which is by taking some previously presented sources related to sharia and SMEs. The nature of the research is qualitative with the secondary data source of pre-existing data. This research data analysis technique is qualitative descriptive, by describing the development of Sharia fintech and the development pattern of SMEs through Sharia fintech. The results showed that the current Sharia fintech assets reached 50.591.727.786 rupiah, or experienced a growth of 8.32 percent compared to the period of February 2020. Of the 13 sharia fintechs there are 6 Sharia fintech companies that focus on financing for SMEs. The pattern of SMEs development through sharia fintech can be done by adding the role of fintech, not merely giving from finance but also can be a companion in business development in particular about the marketing products of SMEs. Sharia fintech can facilitate space to sell products through online by using the marketplace and websait owned by Sharia fintech. Dampak dari wabah covid-19 membuat beberapa kegiatan bisnis mengalami perlambatan. Diperlukan lembaga lain yang dapat mendukung perkembangan UMKM di tengah wabah covid-19, salah satunya adalah fintech syariah. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui perkembangan dari fintech syariah dan mengetahui pola pengembangan UMKM melalui fintech syariah. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian studi pustaka, yaitu dengan mengambil beberapa sumber yang telah disajikan sebelumnya terkait fintech syariah dan UMKM. Sifat penelitian yaitu kualitatif dengan sumber data sekunder dari data-data yang telah ada sebelumnya. Teknik analisis data penelitian ini deskriptif kualitatif, dengan menguraikan perkembangan dari fintech syariah dan pola pengembangan UMKM melalui fintech syariah. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tota aset fintech syariah saat ini mencapai 50.591.727.786 rupiah, atau mengalami pertumbuhan 8,32 persen jika dibandingkan pada periode februari 2020. Dari 13 fintech syariah ada 6 perusahaan fintech syariah yang fokus pada pembiayaan untuk UMKM. Pola pengembangan UMKM melalui fintech syariah dapat dilakukan dengan menambah peran dari lembaga fintech, tidak sekedar memberikan dari keuangan tetapi juga dapat menjadi pendamping dalam pengembangan bisnis khususnya tentang pemasaran produk UMKM. Fintech syariah dapat memfasilitasi ruang untuk menjual produk melalui online dengan memafaatkan marketplace dan websait yang dimiliki fintech syariah.
