Abstract

The purpose of this research is to analyze the influence of internal variables including Financing to Deposit Ratio (FDR), Capital Adequacy Ratio (CAR), Operational Costs to Operating Income (BOPO), and external variables, including Inflation and value of the exchange rate on Non-Performing Financing (NPF). The data used is secondary data obtained from financial statements from Bank BNI Syariah and Central Statistics Agency. The type of data analyzed is time series quarter period last ten years, from 2011 to 2020. The data analysis method is carried out using multiple regression with SPSS version 26. The results of this study found together the Financing to Deposit Ratio variables (FDR), Capital Adequacy Ratio (CAR), Operating Costs to Operating Income (BOPO), Inflation, and Exchange Rates have a significant effect on Non-Performing Financing (NPF). Meanwhile, the partial Financing to Deposit Ratio (FDR) variable has a negative and insignificant effect on Non-Performing Financing (NPF). Likewise, Operational Costs on Operating Income (BOPO) have a positive and insignificant effect on Non-Performing Financing (NPF). Meanwhile, Capital Adequacy Ratio (CAR) and Inflation have a positive and significant effect on Non-Performing Financing (NPF). However, the exchange rate has a negative and significant effect on Non-Performing Financing (NPF). The conclusions were tested together with variables Financing to Deposit Ratio (FDR), Capital Adequacy Ratio (CAR), Operating Costs to Operating Income (BOPO), Inflation, and Exchange rates have a significant effect on Non-Performing Financing (NPF) at Bank BNI Syariah.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the Determinants of Profit Sharing by Strengthening Third Party Funds at Islamic Commercial Banks in Indonesia. The population and sample used in this study are Islamic Commercial Banks in Indonesia registered with the Financial Services Authority (OJK) in 2015-2020. This research is a type of quantitative research using multiple linear regression analysis and moderated regression analysis (MRA). The source of data used in this research is secondary data, which has been presented by certain institutions. The data collection technique used was purposive sampling in determining the sample. The data analysis technique used is descriptive quantitative using the SPSS application. The results of the study state that mudharabah financing has a negative effect on profit sharing, musyarakah financing has a positive effect on profit sharing, ijarah financing has a positive effect on profit sharing, third party funds (DPK) cannot strengthen the effect of mudharabah financing on profit sharing, third party funds Third party funds (DPK) can strengthen the effect of musharaka financing on profit sharing, and third party funds (DPK) cannot strengthen the effect of ijarah financing on profit sharing.

Abstract

Peran seluruh pihak dalam mendukung perkembangan Usaha Mikro Kecil dan Menengah (UMKM), perlu dilakukan untuk mendukung perkembangan ekonomi. Sebagaimana porsi UMKM terbesar dalam pergerakan ekonomi di Indonesia, UMKM melibatkan banyak pihak kegiatannya sehingga memberikan peluang lapangan kerja yang lebih besar. Hanya saja terkadang UMKM memiliki kendala dalam pengembangannya, seperti kendala permodalan, kendala penggunaan teknologi, dan kendala dalam menyusun laporan keuangan. Terkadang UMKM tidak mendapat akses pembiayaan dari lembaga keuangan karena tidak memiliki laporan keuangan yang baik, sehingga dibutuhkan pendampingan bagi UMKM untuk penyusunan laporan keuangan yang baik. Tujuan dari kegiatan pengabdian ini untuk memberikan pelatihan pendampingan laporan keuangan yang mudah bagi UMKM lapak berkah binaan lembaga Inziatif Zakat Indonesia (IZI) Makassar. Metode pengabdian masyarakat yang dilakukan ini melalui pendampingan langsung kepada para pelaku UMKM, dengan melakukan beberapa tahapan sebelum pelaksanaan kegiatan. Hasil dari kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat pelaku UMKM mengetahui cara pembuatan laporan keuangan yang sederhana, pelaku UMKM. Kegiatan ini merupakan program kegiatan program studi perbankan syariah UIN Alauddin Makassar berkerjasama dengan lembaga IZI Makassar.

Abstract

AbstractPurpose - The purpose of this study is to describe the development of sharia IKNB and the role of Sharia IKNB to support SGDs.Method - The type of research used is qualitative with literature study. The analytical technique used is descriptive qualitative describing the development of Sharia IKNB, and the role of Sharia IKNB to support realization of the SDGs.Result - The results show the development of Sharia IKNB in the period from October 2020 to April 2021, Sharia Insurance assets grew by 6.26 percent, Pension Fund Institutions assets grew by 17.79 percent, Sharia Microfinance Institutions assets grew by 2.24 percent, Sharia Fintech Institutions assets grew by 85.54 percent. Meanwhile, Sharia Financing Institutions experienced a decrease in assets of -7.78 percent and Sharia Pawnshops experienced a decrease in assets of -6.95 percent. Certified halal products in 2021 grew by 2,531.49 percent.Implication - Sharia IKNB supports SDGs to achieve the goal of reducing hunger, sharia IKNB can support the real sector, and also has a social aspect. SDGs achieve prosperity in line with the Islamic economic function of income distribution.Originality - The research a more in-depth study of the role of Islamic finance in supporting the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) program. Researchers identify the role of Sharia Insurance, Sharia Financing Institutions, Pension Fund Institution, Sharia Pawnshop, Sharia Microfinance Institutions and Sharua Financial Technology.

Abstract

The increasingly significant development of global tourism indirectly also has a positive impact on developing countries such as Indonesia and Nigeria. The purpose of this research is to demonstrate the development of sharia tourism in halal business, and its role in supporting the sustainable development goals (SDGs) program in Indonesia and Nigeria. The method used in this research was qualitative. Data collection techniques used by the literature from various sources. The analysis technique used is descriptive qualitative, outlining the development and potential for developing sharia tourism in Indonesia and Nigeria. Then outlines the role of its tourism in supporting the SGDs program. The results show that the sharia tourism sector has a role to support SDGs, based on its characteristics and the halal process involves many parties, so it has an impact on many parties, involving transportation service providers, ticket sales/travel agents, lodging and hotels, culinary, souvenirs and handicrafts, so move many economic actors. Sharia tourism supports SDGs, and welfare reduces poverty, food security, and economic growth provides employment, provides infrastructure, provides justice, and can build partnerships globally. In addition, Indonesia seems to be more productive than Nigeria in leading sharia tourism. Thus, the tourism sector plays an important role in the world economy because it is considered one of the contributors to economic growth in Indonesia and Nigeria.

Abstract

Non-bank Islamic financial industry (IKNB Sharia) in Indonesia continues to increase very good. Visible IKNB growth seen in the number of Islamic sharia IKNB assets in 2010, 9333 billion rupiah in the year rose to 46 895 billion rupiah. With an average growth rate of 62.29%. Thus the development of sharia IKNB must be balanced with sufficient resources and qualified. OJK has made  efforts  in  improving  the  quality  of  human  resources  in  Islamic  IKNB  with  two  major strategies. This research uses descriptive qualitative limitations in this paper focused on the OJK in improving the human resources that exist IKNB Shari'ah. The need for the application of celestial management for human resources in IKNB sharia. The results of this paper that the OJK has set two strategies in an effort to improve the quality of human resources in IKNB sharia. Then the need for the application of celestial management for human resources in IKNB sharia to create good quality. Because IKNB sharia is a business institution that is inseparable from the rule of religion or spiritual aspect. Thus requiring an appropriate concept in improving the quality of its human resources.

Abstract

This study’s purpose is to describe the development of research related to Islamic banks during the Covid-19 pandemic. Various published national standard studies on the theme of sharia banking during the Covid-19 pandemic. This research uses the Publish or Perish (POP) application to explore various related studies sourced from Google Scholar. The data used is for 3 years, namely the period from 2020 to 2022. The keywords used in the article search are sharia banking during the Covid-19 pandemic. From the search results, the articles obtained will be inputted into the Vosviewer application, for descriptive analysis, an analysis of the results obtained after being shown by the application is carried out. Then input was carried out in the VOSviewer application, then the results were found from research for three years with the theme of sharia banking during the Covid-19 pandemic. The results showed that from the Vosviwer application, there were 38 articles obtained from the publish or perish (PoP) application, the results of Network Visualization, Overlay Visualization, and Density Visualization. There are 8 clusters, with various items from each cluster. For the literature review, 7 research themes related to sharia Banking during the Covid-19 Pandemic were found.

Abstract

Zakat is an obligation for every Muslim because zakat is one of the pillars of Islam. The benefits of tithing include two dimensions, namely the spiritual dimension and the social dimension. A spiritual dimension is a form of obedience in carrying out religious orders, while the social dimension is the implementation of a caring attitude among fellow Muslims. Zakat is very useful to ease the economic burden of the poor. The distribution of zakat is not only to meet the needs of daily life but can also be distributed in the form of working capital assistance so that zakat funds can be productive. Management of zakat funds will be productive if it can be managed professionally. Therefore, to realize this goal, we, from the Department of Sharia banking, Faculty of Economics and Islamic Business, State Islamic University, Makassar, are moved to carry out community service activities that are packaged in the form of empowerment activities and business management assistance. The method used in community service activities with the theme of Empowerment of Productive Zakat as an effort to strengthen the economy of the community who are members of the Blessings group under the guidance of the Indonesian Zakat Initiative in Makassar. Stages of activity, first conducted observations to obtain initial information related to the condition of the target group. The next stage is to draw up a plan for empowerment and mentoring activities. Next, conduct education through lecture methods, discussions, and consultations related to business management. Speakers describe business management and market-building strategies. The next stage is to assist by conducting regular consultation visits every month. The results of these activities can help provide solutions to various problems in business management, both in terms of financial management and marketing aspects.

Abstract

Shariah banking has had a strong legal law in the presence of shariah banking Act number 21 of 2008. The presence of shariah banking in Indonesia are increasingly in demand by the public. Currently the market share of shariah banking has translucent 5%, and the asset side continues to rise well. Shariah banking attached profit and loss sharing system, only financing products in shariah banking still dominated by the sale and purchase murabahah financing. Murabahah financing accounted for 60, 725%. While the contract for the results contribute only 39.275%. Shariah banking are part of Islamic economics can not be separated, so that all the products of shariah banking should be in line with the concept of building an Islamic economy. The aim of research to determine the development of financing in shariah banking and Islamic economics implemtasi building on the product of financing in shariah banking. The results of this paper shows the development of financing products in the development of shariah banking was minimal. With an average growth of only about 3,326%. Thus need support in order to continue to be developed. Products of financing has fulfilled the concept of building an Islamic economy, only one thing that does not fit that assurance requirements specified on the product of financing in Islamic banks, is considered unfair to customers  funds.[Perbankan syariah telah memiliki payung hukum yang kuat dengan hadirnya UU perbankan syariah nomor 21 tahun 2008. Keberadaan bank syariah di indonesia makin diminati oleh masyarkat. Saat ini pangsa pasar bank syariah telah tembus 5 %, dan sisi aset terus meningkat dengan baik. Bank syariah melekat dengan sistem bagi hasil, hanya saja produk pembiayaan di bank syariah masih didominasi oleh pembiayaan jual beli murabahah. Pembiayaan dengan akad murabahah berkontribusi sebesar 60, 725 %. Sedangkan akad bagi hasil hanya berkontribusi 39,275 %. Bank syariah bagian dari ekonomi islam yang tidak bisa dipisahkan, sehingga semua produk bank syariah harus sejalan dengan konsep bangunan ekonomi islam. Tujuan penelitian untuk mengetahui perkembangan pembiayaan mudharabah di bank syariah dan implemtasi bangunan ekonomi islam pada produk pembiayaan mudharabah di bank syariah. Hasil dari tulisan ini menunjukkan adanya perkembangan produk pembiayaan mudharabah di bank syariah perkembangannya sangat minim. Dengan rata-rata pertumbuhan hanya sekitar 3,326 %. Sehingga butuh dukungan agar terus dikembangkan. Produk pembiayaan mudharabah telah memenuhi konsep bangunan ekonomi islam, hanya saja ada satu hal yang tidak sesuai yaitu persyaratan jaminan yang ditetapkan pada produk pembiayaan mudharabah di bank syariah, dianggap tidak adil bagi nasabah pengelolah dana.]

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to analyze the effect of brand image, promotion, and location partially or simultaneously and which of the three factors has the most influence on the saving decision of Bank Syariah Indonesia customers in Makassar City. This research is a quantitative research with a correlational approach. The type of data and data sources used are primary data obtained through questionnaire tabulation of 71 respondents who are customers of Bank Syariah Indonesia in Makassar City. The data analysis method used is multiple linear regression analysis. The results of the study reveal that brand image, promotion, and location partially or simultaneously have a positive and significant effect on the saving decisions of Bank Syariah Indonesia customers in Makassar City. Furthermore, the brand image with the largest coefficient of influence and significant value is the factor that most influences the saving decision of Bank Syariah Indonesia customers in Makassar City. This research is expected to be able to provide information to Bank Syariah Indonesia and other parties regarding which factors have the greatest influence on the decision to save at Bank Syariah Indonesia
