Abstract

This study aims to analyze the impact of digital technology adoption on the performance of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in Indonesia, by considering the mediating roles of innovation capability, financial access, and business trust. MSMEs play a strategic role in the national economy, yet they continue to face various challenges in enhancing competitiveness and business performance. Digital technology adoption has emerged as a key strategy to drive operational transformation, expand market reach, and improve efficiency. This research adopts a quantitative approach using the Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) method to examine the relationships among variables. The findings indicate that digital technology adoption significantly affects MSME performance, both directly and through the enhancement of innovation capability and financial access. Furthermore, business trust also plays an important role as a psychological factor that reinforces commitment and business sustainability. These findings highlight the importance of policy support, digital infrastructure, financial literacy, and innovation capacity in strengthening the competitiveness of MSMEs in the digital economy era. This study provides both theoretical and practical contributions to the development of a digital-based MSME empowerment model in Indonesia.

Abstract

This study examines the causal relationship between Customer Involvement, Co-Creation Value, Satisfaction, and Loyalty in the context of collaboration-based customer relationship management. The main objective of this study is to understand how customer involvement in the service process can influence perceptions of shared value, increase satisfaction, and ultimately form strong customer loyalty. The theoretical approach used refers to Service-Dominant Logic, which places customers as active partners in value creation, not just recipients of services. Through a quantitative approach and structural equation modeling, this study finds that customer involvement plays an important role in creating more relevant and meaningful experiences, which in turn have a positive impact on satisfaction and loyalty. The practical implications of the results of this study emphasize the importance of participatory and interactive strategies, including the use of digital technology, to increase customer engagement. By building a more inclusive and responsive service system, companies can create long-term, mutually beneficial relationships with customers and increase competitive advantage in the digital economy era.

Abstract

Digital transformation has changed the way companies establish relationships with consumers, including in communicating social responsibility activities through Digital Corporate Social Responsibility (DSR) strategies. This study aims to analyze the effect of DSR on brand loyalty and purchase intentions of Generation Y consumers in Indonesia, using the Social Exchange Theory approach. Data were collected from 385 Generation Y respondents who actively use social media and have been exposed to digital CSR activities, using a 5-point Likert scale questionnaire. The analysis method used is Partial Least Squares - Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) through SmartPLS. The results of the study indicate that DSR has a significant effect on brand loyalty and purchase intentions. Brand loyalty is also proven to mediate the relationship between DSR and purchase intentions. These findings indicate that DSR not only has a reputational impact, but also contributes to shaping consumer loyalty and purchasing decisions. This study provides theoretical implications for the development of Social Exchange Theory in a digital context, as well as practical implications for companies in designing communication strategies based on social values. Further research is recommended to explore the moderating role of brand trust or perceived authenticity in the relationship between DSR and consumer behavior.

Abstract

Aims and Methods: This study aims to analyze the effect of data capability and supply chain capability on the operational efficiency of MSMEs in Lampung Province. The method used is a quantitative approach and multiple linear regression analysis involving simulated data from 200 respondents to test the relationship between variables.Results: The results of the analysis show that supply chain capability has a more dominant and significant influence on operational efficiency compared to data capability. Data capability contributes positively and significantly to improving operational efficiency, especially when integrated into the supply chain management process. The R Square value of 0.497 indicates that almost 50% of the variation in operational efficiency can be explained by the two independent variables. The results of the study support the Resource-Based View (RBV) perspective that internal resources such as data and efficient supply chain systems are determining factors for the competitiveness of MSMEs.Conclusion: The practical implications of this study encourage the need for a digitalization strengthening program and data-based logistics systems to support local MSMEs to be more adaptive in facing market competition. This study also recommends further studies with sectoral and longitudinal approaches to understand the long-term impact of digital integration on MSME business performance.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of hybrid work, digital readiness, and business leadership on management innovation among MSMEs in Lampung Province. The background of this study is based on changes in post-pandemic work patterns that require MSMEs to transform structurally and managerially to remain competitive. The study used a mixed methods approach, with quantitative data obtained from 150 MSME respondents through questionnaires and qualitative data through in-depth interviews. Analysis was conducted using multiple linear regression and data triangulation. The results show that all three independent variables (hybrid work, digital readiness, and business leadership) have a positive and significant effect on management innovation, with hybrid work being the most dominant variable. Furthermore, work efficiency emerged as an important mediating pathway in the relationship between hybrid work and management innovation. The qualitative findings reinforce that successful innovation depends on work system flexibility, technological readiness, and a participatory leadership style. This study recommends increasing digital capacity and adaptive leadership as policy strategies for MSME development based on management transformation.

Abstract

In light of the moderating effects of organizational readiness (OR) and digital literacy (DL), this study attempts to examine how business intelligence (BI) affects the sustainable performance and decision-making quality of SMEs in Lampung Province.  This study used a convergent parallel design and a mixed methods approach, integrating both qualitative and quantitative data to offer a thorough insight.  In-depth interviews with 15 important informants provided qualitative data, while purposive sampling was used to choose 200 SMEs as respondents for quantitative data. The outer and inner models were evaluated in a quantitative study using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM), and thematic analysis was used to examine the qualitative data. The findings demonstrated that BI significantly influences sustainable performance (β=0.24, p<0.001) and decision quality (β=0.65, p<0.001), both directly and via decision quality mediation (β=0.58, p<0.001). The association between BI and decision quality was found to be strengthened by OR and DL.  SME players stress the significance of rapid, precise, and integrated data access in enhancing the precision of company strategy, and qualitative findings corroborate the quantitative findings. This study offers useful suggestions for boosting SMEs' competitiveness in the age of digital transformation.

Abstract

Sustainable tourism aims to maximize the potential of travel destinations while maintaining a careful balance between social, economic, and environmental factors, and coastal tourism such as that found at Mutun Beach in Lampung illustrates both the promise and the urgency of this approach. Coastal tourism is one of the fastest-growing segments of the global travel industry, offering visitors natural beauty, recreational activities, and cultural experiences that generate significant income for local economies. In Indonesia, beaches are major attractions that can boost regional development through job creation, small business opportunities, and improved infrastructure. Mutun Beach, a well-known coastal destination on the southern coast of Sumatra, contributes greatly to the Regional Original Income (PAD) of Lampung Province and provides livelihoods for surrounding communities. Yet despite its popularity, the area continues to face persistent problems such as weak administrative management, limited community participation, inadequate facilities, and signs of environmental degradation, all of which threaten its long-term sustainability. This service project therefore focuses on designing a comprehensive plan for sustainable tourism growth at Mutun Beach for the 2025–2030 period. A participatory strategy is employed through Focus Group Discussions (FGD) involving local government, tourism stakeholders, community members, academics, and potential investors to ensure inclusive decision-making. The resulting five-stage roadmap emphasizes strengthening tourism regulations, constructing eco-friendly infrastructure, empowering residents with training and entrepreneurial opportunities, creating tourism products that highlight environmental and cultural values, and adopting digital marketing to reach broader audiences. Success indicators include increased regional revenue, rising visitor numbers, higher tourist satisfaction, and measurable improvements in coastal environmental health. Implementing this roadmap is urgent because coastal tourism directly supports economic growth, provides steady employment, and safeguards natural resources, ensuring that Mutun Beach remains both competitive and environmentally resilient for generations to come.

Abstract

Pempek Central 19 adalah usaha kuliner di Lampung yang memiliki potensi besar di Pasar Indonesia. Dalam beberapa tahun terakhir, perkembangan teknologi informasi telah membawa perubahan signifikan dalam cara perusahaan memasarkan produk mereka. Pemanfaatan teknologi digital dalam pemasaran menjadi hal yang sangat penting bagi kelangsungan bisnis. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis strategi pemasaran digital Pempek Central 19 dan pengaruh inovasi digital terhadap preferensi konsumen. Melalui metode pengabdian kepada masyarakat, tim pengabdian memberikan edukasi dan implementasi teknologi pemasaran digital yang inovatif untuk membantu meningkatkan daya saing usaha ini. Hasil dari pengabdian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan platform digital yang efektif, seperti media sosial dan pemasaran online, berhasil meningkatkan interaksi dengan pelanggan serta memperluas jangkauan pasar.

Abstract

Pemanfaatan media sosial berbasis video pendek seperti TikTok menjadi strategi potensial dalam meningkatkan visibilitas UMKM berbasis budaya lokal di kalangan Generasi Z. Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan mendampingi UMKM Sami Sutra dalam produksi dan publikasi konten promosi berdurasi 2 menit 21 detik yang mengangkat nilai-nilai budaya tapis Lampung melalui pendekatan naratif. Metode Participatory Action Research (PAR) digunakan dalam tiga tahap: identifikasi kebutuhan, produksi konten, dan evaluasi awal. Konten yang diunggah pada 5 Mei 2025 pukul 23.16 WIB menunjukkan performa menjanjikan dalam 24 jam pertama, dengan 1.193 tayangan, total waktu tonton 6 jam 53 menit 58 detik, dan rata-rata durasi tonton 16,6 detik. Meskipun tingkat completion rate sebesar 1,63% tergolong rendah akibat durasi panjang, video ini tetap menunjukkan interaksi positif berupa 85 likes, 9 komentar, 61 shares, serta menghasilkan 13 pengikut baru. Temuan ini menegaskan bahwa strategi konten berbasis budaya lokal dapat meningkatkan ketertarikan audiens dan memperkuat keterlibatan digital. Rekomendasi lanjutan mencakup penguatan storytelling visual, konsistensi produksi, dan eksperimen durasi konten untuk menyesuaikan dengan karakteristik perilaku konsumsi Generasi Z di TikTok.

Abstract

The advancement of information technology, telecommunications, and the internet has resulted in the emergence of various internet-based business applications. Bank Central Asia (BCA) is one such institution that leverages internet technology to serve its customers through its mobile application, MBca Mobile. This research investigates whether the variables of satisfaction and usability influence customer loyalty and subsequently generate positive word of mouth among MBca users. This study aims to determine the effect of satisfaction and usability on loyalty and its impact on positive word of mouth among MBca users. A sample of 150 participants was analyzed using multiple linear regression. The results indicate that satisfaction significantly mediates the relationship between usability and loyalty, which in turn has a substantial positive impact on word of mouth. Consequently, all hypotheses in this study are accepted. It is suggested that BCA enhance the MBca service connection to prevent transaction failures by collaborating with telecommunications providers to ensure reliable internet connections. Additionally, improving operator capabilities through training can increase the speed and accuracy of the service.
