Abstract

This study aims to develop products in the form of Development of Children's Songs Using Musescore Applications in Learning Aspects of Early Childhood Development. This research is a Research and Development (R&D) model of ADDIE. The product trials were conducted by two expert namely material experts and media design experts with a valid category with a percentage of eligibility 75.5 and 78% respectively so that the product was eligible to be continued in small-scale trials. A small group trial was conducted on respondents totaling ten teachers and ten students. Furthermore, to find out the effectiveness of the use of songs in PAUD, an evaluation is carried out by means of pretest and posttest. The average pretest value obtained was 63%, while the average posttest value was 82% with effectiveness based on the n-gain formula of 0.68 in the medium category. In a large group trial, the average score of the pretest respondents was 42%, and the average post-test score was 81% with an effectiveness level of 0.67 in the medium category. So, it can be concluded that the Development of Children's Songs Using Musescore Applications in Learning Aspects of Early Childhood Development as valid, practical and effective is used by Early Childhood

Abstract

The main purpose of this study was to explore the belief that parents were able to perform or to manage tasks effectively related to parental involvement in educating elementary school children. 60 parents of elementary school children participated in this study, consisting of 20 fathers and 40 mothers. They were selected randomly from two public elementary schools and fulfilled informed consent showing they participated voluntarily in the study. The Parents Self Efficacy Scale which has been tested for validity and reliability administered to the parents. This self-report instrument, which consists of 68 questions asked parents to respond six aspects of the scale, namely the ability to parent children, communicate with the school/teacher, help children learn at home, become school volunteers, make decisions, and collaborate with the community. The results showed that parents have a high level of efficacy in all six aspects. However, among the six aspects, the higher level of parental self-efficacy was parenting children, communicating with the school/teacher, helping children learn at home. Abstract

Parental involvement had benefit for the education of elementary children. Yet, knowing parental efficacy was important factor to do such involvement. The purpose of this study was to design and examine a practical, valid, and reliable parental efficacy scale for measuring parents’ capabilities to involve in elementary education. A total of 402 parents of elementary children participated in this study, consisting of 114 fathers (28.36%) and 288 mothers (71.64%). They were selected randomly from 10 elementary schools and fulfilled informed consent showing they participated voluntarily in the study. A Parental Efficacy Scale which had been designed was tested for its practicality, validity and reliability. This self-report instrument asked parents to respond 67 items containing six aspects, namely their belief to be able parenting children, communicating with the school, helping children learn at home, becoming school volunteers, making decisions, and collaborating with community. The results showed that the scale fulfilled all of three requirements in all six aspects.

Abstract

This research was arisen by the lack of an assessment in the form of test items as an interactive assessment for Computer-Based Test (CBT) based on Learning Management System (LMS). Previously, only topic-based tasks were available, particularly lacking in leadership project courses. In practice, assessment mainly relied on tasks in leadership project courses for teacher professional education students (PPG), resulting in suboptimal data collection for measurement which made educators difficult to assess or measure student performance. The research method used was Research and Development (R&D) with the Miles & Huberman model. This study aims to develop effective and efficient measurement data in the form of interactive LMS-based mechanical assessments (CBT). The research involved students who enrolled in the Leadership Project course at PPG Unsri. The research object was the measurement tool results from the collection of data from answered assessment items, to be effectively and efficiently presented in the form of interactive LMS-based mechanical (CBT) assessments. Data collection begins with observation and the creation of item grids. Data analysis techniques use the Miles & Huberman model analysis, which includes four stages: data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. Data analysis was performed using SPSS. The results of this study indicate that the product in the form of LMS-based test items (CBT) is valid and reliable as an assessment tool in leadership project courses at the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, Universitas Sriwijaya.

Abstract

Background: Telah diamati khususnya di beberapa pengajar Taman Kanak-kanak (TK) Kabupaten Lahat masih kurang dalam hal kreativitas dan motivasi dalam menciptakan media untuk tujuan pendidikan. Selain itu, guru awal yang memanfaatkan media tidak menyesuaikan dengan fungsi dan kegunaannya. Berdasarkan hasil dari permasalahan tersebut, maka tim pengabdian masyarakat Prodi PG-PAUD FKIP UNSRI melatih dan mendampingi guru-guru TK di Kabupaten Lahat dalam mengembangkan perangkat pembelajaran berbasis holistik integratif yang menyesuaikan dengan kurikulum yang digunakan dan selanjutnya dapat digunakan dalam pelaksanaan pembelajaran. Metode: Kegiatan Pengabdian Pada Masyarakat (PPM) melibatkan 20 Guru TK di Kabupaten Lahat, Provinsi Sumatera Selatan. Tahapan kegiatan PPM terbagi menjadi 3, yaitu, Perencanaan, Pelaksanaan, dan Evaluasi. Analisis data secara kuantitatif inferensial dan Indikator keberhasilan kegiatan PPM berupa jumlah rata-rata nilai tes (pre-test dan post-test) pada peserta kegiatan. Hasil: Terdapat peningkatan kemampuan Guru PAUD di Kabupaten Lahat dalam membuat media Pembelajaran Berbasis Holisik Integratif dengan hasil pre-test dan post-test sebesar 30,5 poin serta nilai N-gain sebesar 75,77% dengan kategori Efektif. Kesimpulan: Kegiatan Pengabdian Pada Masyarakat berupa pelatihan dan pendampingan pembuatan media pembelajaran berbasis holistik integratif terlaksana secara efektif, mendapatkan respon positif, dan meningkatkan pengetahuan baru bagi Guru PAUD di Kabupaten Lahat.

Abstract

In the current era of globalization, parents, teachers, and all elements of society who are in the environment around early childhood learn to provide stimulation that is following the development of children. The wider and more open parenting science that can be accessed by parents, teachers and the community requires appropriate guidelines as a reference source to detect and stimulate children's development based on facts in the field. This is the background for researchers to develop and produce a book on stimulation and early detection of ICT-based early childhood development that is valid and practical. The research method used is Research and Development with the ADDIE model with requirements analysis procedures, prototype design, development, and evaluation implementation. The evaluation technique used is the Tessmer evaluation. Data collection techniques using observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of the research from experts, namely material experts and media design experts with very valid categories with proportions of 95.45% and 89.58% respectively, so that the product is feasible to be continued on a small-scale trial. So that the development of a guidebook for stimulation and early detection of growth for children aged 0-6 years is very valid to be tested as a guidebook for teachers and parents in stimulating and detecting the growth of children aged 0-6 years.

Abstract

Exclusive breastfeeding (ASI) provides many benefits for breastfeeding mothers and the growth and development of children who receive breast milk from infancy. Such as increasing antibodies, protection from infection, and other benefits that can support the development of the child's brain and immune system. This research aims to explore exclusive breastfeeding for the health and development of babies and mothers. The research method used is a literature study which involves analysis of various previous studies on the benefits of breast milk. The initial data was 60 articles, then after analysis it became 23 articles for primary data, both national and international. Research results show that breast milk not only provides the necessary essential nutrients but also strengthens the baby's immune system, because it not only promotes growth and development, but also contains protective substances and antibodies that protect the baby from various diseases and infections. The conclusion confirms that the practice of exclusive breastfeeding during the first six months of a baby's life is essential to ensure that each baby gets the full benefits of breast milk and grows up healthy and strong, while also providing important health benefits for the mother. Thus, this research underscores the importance of supporting and promoting exclusive breastfeeding practices to improve health and well-being in babies, mothers, and in society. Keywords: Benefits Of Exclusive Breastfeeding; Baby's Health; Breastfeeding Mother   Abstrak Pemberian ASI Eksklusif (ASI) memberikan banyak manfaat bagi ibu menyusui dan  tumbuh kembang anak yang mendapat ASI sejak bayi. Seperti peningkatan antibodi, perlindungan dari  infeksi, dan  manfaat lainnya yang dapat mendukung perkembangan otak dan sistem kekebalan tubuh anak. Penelitian ini memiliki tujuan untuk mengeksplorasi ASI eksklusif bagi kesehatan dan perkembangan bayi serta ibu. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah studi literatur yang melibatkan analisis berbagai penelitian terdahulu tentang manfaat ASI. Adapun data awal yaitu 60 artikel kemudian setelah dianalisis menjadi 23 artikel untuk data primer, baik nasional maupun internasional. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ASI tidak hanya menyediakan nutrisi esensial yang diperlukan melainkan memperkuat sistem kekebalan bayi, karena tidak hanya mendorong pertumbuhan dan perkembangan nya saja, tetapi juga mengandung zat pelindung dan  antibodi yang  melindungi bayi dari berbagai penyakit dan infeksi. Kesimpulan menegaskan bahwa praktik menyusui eksklusif selama enam bulan pertama kehidupan bayi sangat penting untuk memastikan bahwa setiap bayi mendapatkan manfaat penuh dari ASI dan tumbuh dengan sehat dan kuat, sementara juga memberikan manfaat kesehatan yang penting bagi ibu. Dengan demikian, penelitian ini menggarisbawahi pentingnya mendukung dan mempromosikan praktik menyusui eksklusif untuk meningkatkan kesehatan dan kesejahteraan pada bayi, ibu, dan pada masyarakat. Abstract

Aktivitas fisik yang melibatkan anak bergerak aktif melalui permainan outdoor seperti mini outbound masih jarang disediakan di Lembaga Taman Kanak-kanak. Selain karena faktor tempat, faktor biaya juga menjadi penyebab sulitnya menyediakan fasilitas permainan outbound meskipun dengan versi sederhana. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengungkapkan perspektif guru Taman Kanak-kanak terhadap kegiatan outbound dalam mengembangkan kognitif anak usia dini.  Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian survey dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Populasi dan sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah guru Taman Kanak-kanak di Kecamatan Indralaya, Palembang yang berjumlah 25 orang. Teknik sampel yang digunakan adalah purposive sampling. Angket yang digunakan untuk memperoleh data di susun menggunakan skala likert. Data penelitian di analisis menggunakan analisis proporsi dan analisis mode. Hasil penelitian menunjukan interpretasi perspektif guru terhadap kegiatan outbound sangat penting diterapkan di Lembaga sebagai salah satu alternatif permainan outdoor yang dapat menstimulasi perkembengan kognitif anak. Kemampuan berpikir kritis, kemampuan penalaran, dan kemampuan menganalisa anak dapat terasah melalui permainan outbound, serta kemampuan kolaborasi anak dalam bekerja sama dapat berkembang.

Abstract

Pembelajaran matematika sering kali dianggap menakutkan bagi semua kalangan termasuk anak usia dini. Untuk itu perlu nya media dalam menunjang pembelajaran agar optimal dan mudah dalam menyampaikan materi kepada peserta didik. Namun, guru sering kali kesulitan dalam menjumpai dan memvariasikan media untuk pembelajaran matematika. Untuk itu penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menciptakan sebuah inovasi media pembelajaran berupa media pembelajaran berbasis buku cerita materi geometri untuk anak usia dini yang valid dan praktis. Metode yang digunakan dalam melakukan penelitian yaitu penelitian R&D dengan model Rowntree. Model Rowntree memiliki 3 tahap yaitu perencanaan, pengembangan dan Evaluasi. Evaluasi peneliti mengadopsi tahap dari model evaluasi formatif Tessmer yang terdiri dari tahap self evaluation, expert review, one-to-one evaluation, dan small group evaluation. Hasil penelitian menyatakan produk berupa media pembelajaran berbasis buku cerita materi geometri dinyatakan valid secara ahli dan juga dan praktis secara pengguna yaitu guru dan anak.

Abstract

Background: Kurikulum merdeka belajar merupakan wujud pengembangan kurikulum yang memudahkan peserta didik dalam pembelajaran. Proses pembelajaran berpusat pada materi yang mendasar untuk menumbuhkan keunikan dan meningkatkan keahlian serta kemampuan peserta didik. Pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan meningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan guru di Kabupaten Lahat. Metode: Pengabdian dibuat dalam bentuk workshop /pelatihan, coaching clinic dan pendampingan dalam membuat Projek Penguatan Profil Pelajar Pancasila (P5). Hasil: Adanya peningkatan dari pengetahuan terlihat berdasarkan pre-test dan post-test yang telah diberikan dimana hasil pre-test mendapatkan rata-rata sebesar 55,5 dan rata-rata post-test peserta sebesar 85 dengan rata-rata kenaikan sebanyak 31. Kesimpulan: Adanya peningkatan pengetahuan peserta terkait kurikulum merdeka dan penyusunan modul ajar berbasis P5.
