Abstract

Gangguan Kesehatan Mental merupakan individu yang memiliki kriteria standar untuk didiagnosis oleh dokter, penderita gangguan mental kerap disalahartikan sebagai sosok yang cenderung berbuat negatif seperti melakukan tindakan kekerasan, pemberontakan, berjiwa bebas, kriminal, tidak bisa mengurus diri, bodoh, dsb. Meskipun kini masyarakat mulai aware terhadap isu pada kesehatan mental dibuktikan dengan banyaknya gerakan sosial, namun masih saja beberapa masyarakat beranggapan bahwa gangguan kesehatan mental adalah hal yang tabu dan remeh. Salah satu media yang dapat dijadikan akses untuk memenuhi kebutuhan informasi dan hiburan masyarakat adalah Film. Film juga mendekatkan cerita dengan realita yang ada atau bahkan ikut membentuk realita yang berkembang ditengah masyarakat. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis Film Kembang Api. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dan analisis film tersebut menggunakan metode yang digunakan yakni semiotika John Fiske. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa teori semiotika dengan kode televisi John Fiske dengan 3 level, yaitu level realitas menjelaskan bahwa Fahmi, Raga, Sukma, dan Anggun mengalami gangguan kesehatan mental akibat trauma masa lalu yang membentuk mereka menjadi perilaku yang tidak biasa pada orang lain hadapi. Lalu pada level representasi penggunaan set hanya dipakai satu tempat yaitu gudang kosong, dan pengambilan gambar dalam film Kembang Api ini antara lain: Long shot, medium shot, close up, high angle, low angle, eye level, dan slanted. Dan pada level Ideologi terdapat ideologi kelas dan pesimisme. Bahwa keempat pemeran utama ini Fahmi, Raga, Sukma, dan Anggun memiliki karakter dan pengalaman masa lalu yang buruk sehingga membentuk perilaku tidak biasa atau gangguan kesehatan mental.

Abstract

Pengaruh kebiasaan dan adat dalam kehidupan sehari-hari ada pada dunia perfilman. Genre film horor sangat populer di Indonesia karena sering dikaitkan dengan mistisisme. Film KKN di Desa Penari, yang menjadi film terlaris 2022, memanfaatkan unsur adat sebagai pembangun suasana horor dengan menggunakan benda-benda tradisi, rumah, baju, dan alunan musik sinden. Tujuan penelitian adalah menganalisis unsur tanda yang berkaitan dengan budaya atau adat dalam film KKN di Desa Penari. Dalam penelitian ini, digunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan studi pustaka melibatkan pemahaman dan pembelajaran teori-teori yang terdapat dalam berbagai literatur terkait dengan penelitian. Data dikumpulkan melalui pencarian sumber dan rekonstruksi dari beragam referensi. Dengan menggunakan teori semiotika John Fiske yang mengungkapkan analisis terhadap tiga tingkatan, yaitu tingkat realitas yang menjelaskan penampilan pakaian, lingkungan, dan perilaku, tingkat representasi yang meliputi teknik pengambilan gambar, pencahayaan, dan musik, serta tingkat ideologi yang menggambarkan konflik dan alur cerita yang ada dalam film. Hasil penelitian film dilakukan analisis terhadap setiap adegan yang mengacu pada unsur budaya yang terkandung dalam film tersebut. peneliti dapat mempelajari bahwa film tersebut mengandung makna ideologi konservatifme yang berusaha mengembalikan dan mempertahankan tatanan kehidupan yang didasarkan pada nilai nilai tradisional yang telah terbukti mampu memberikan kesejahteraan bagi masyarakat.

Abstract

Kelompok Tani Melati Green 1 adalah kelompok pemberdayaan perempuan yang berada di bawah naungan Kelurahan Purbayan. Permasalahan yang terjadi Kelurahan Purbayan, antara lain belum optimalnya budidaya tanaman herbal di kelompok tani Melati Grenn 1. Pelatihan ini bertujuan untuk menciptakan produk unggulan khas Kerajaan Mataram Islam yang berdampak pada peningkatan pengetahuan dalam budidaya jamu berbasis tabulampot, peningkatan pendapatan masyarakat, pelestarian budaya dan literasi digital menuju eduecotourism. Metode pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini adalah sosialisasi dan pelatihan yang dilaksanakan secara luring dengan peserta berjumlah 20 orang. Hasil pelatihan budidaya tanaman herbal antara lain, pembuatan lahan sebagai media edukasi untuk menciptakan Eduecotourism, jenis-jenis jamu khas Kerajaan Mataram. Branding produk yang dilakukan yaitu dengan membuat kemasan produk jamu yang siap dijual dengan desain yang menarik. Digital marketing yang tepat  dilakukan untuk mengenalkan produk jamu lebih luas yaitu dengan melakukan pemasaran melalui online. Berdasarkan hasil yang diperoleh terdapat peningkatan rerata hasil test dari pelatihan yang diberikan. yang telah dilakukan dapat diketahui bahwasannya terdapat peningkatan pemahaman masyarakat terkait pembuatan branding produk dan penggunaan digital marketing dalam pemasaran produk secara online.   Herbal plant cultivation training for Farmer Groups Melati Green 1 Purbayan towards eduecotourism   Abstract: Melati Green 1 Farmer Group is a women's empowerment group under the auspices of Purbayan Village. This training aims to create superior products typical of the Islamic Mataram Kingdom, which have an impact on increasing knowledge in Tabulampot-based herbal cultivation, increasing community income, cultural preservation, and digital literacy towards eduecotourism. The method of this community service is socialization and training, which is carried out offline with 20 participants. The results of the herbal plant cultivation training include the creation of land as an educational medium to create Eduecotourism, a type of herbal medicine typical of the Mataram Kingdom. Product branding is done by making herbal product packaging ready to be sold with an attractive design. Digital marketing is done to introduce herbal products more widely, namely online marketing. Based on the results obtained, there is an increase in the average test results from the training provided. It can be seen that there is an increase in community understanding regarding product branding and the use of digital marketing in online product marketing.

Abstract

This community service aims to strengthen The Purbayan Tourist VIillage about cooperation proposals and tour guides. The Purbayan Tourist Village boasts a diverse range of tourism potential, spanning from craft tourism, historical tourism, culinary tourism, to exploring cultural heritage sites. This diverse tourism potential necessitates effective management of the Purbayan Tourist Village. The existing challenge lies in relying on tourists to visit the Purbayan Tourist Village and a lack of understanding in the tour guiding process. Community engagement is targeted towards the Purbayan Tourist Village management to be more proactive in attracting tourists by offering collaboration proposals to potential agencies and implementing added value through tour guides. The community engagement methodology began with preparation and socialization on August 5, 2023. It was followed by a collaboration proposal-making training on August 12-13, 2023. Next was the tour guide training on September 29, 2023, culminating in an evaluation for improvement and performance enhancement in the future. The results of the conducted training showed an increase in understanding the collaboration proposal-making process and tour guiding. Both trainings received positive responses from the Purbayan Tourist Village management, with an understanding increase of 58.21% for the collaboration proposal-making training and 46.05% for the tour guide training. With these two trainings, the Purbayan Tourist Village management will be better prepared to develop the existing tourism potential in the Purbayan Sub-district and drive the local economy for the surrounding community.

Abstract

The rise of various da’wah content on Instagram explains the emergence of Muslimah movement to deliver Islamic messages through social media. Through Instagram, the Muslimah community becomes an agent for transforming Islamic knowledge in carrying out da’wah. This study aims to explain how the illustration artworks produced by the Muslimah community become visual communication media and provide their nuances in da’wah through Instagram. With a virtual ethnographic approach, this research is a qualitative study involving 15 illustrators who are members of the Hijabographic virtual community. This study reveals that the embodiment of the illustration artworks shows distinctive style and shape, which makes the Hijabographic community have its own positioning as a virtual community that produces illustration artworks for da’wah content. As visual communication media, the illustration artworks created by Hijabographic community members contain iconic meanings that emphasize aesthetic principles. The creativity of Hijabographic community members in producing illustration artworks is not an individual phenomenon but a structured cultural system that is adaptive to the demands of technological development. Hijabographic community illustration artworks present a new way of performing da’wah through virtual space.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to determine the meaning contained in the McDonald's Father's Day series advertising posters. The type of this research is descriptive with a qualitative approach. The researcher uses Charles Sanders Peirce's semiotic analysis, which focuses on signs and markers, to determine the meaning contained in the poster. According to the research results, the McDonald's poster series Father's Day celebrates Father's Day through the Burger Buns image, which represents a father figure. The text "Happy Father's Day," which indicates that McDonald's is celebrating this special occasion. The yellow M logo is McDonald's identity, as well as the red background represents the primary way McDonald's products are presented.

Abstract

Sexual violence is a very troubling phenomenon in society because it can cause physical, sexual, and psychological suffering for victims. In Indonesia, several films have raised the theme of sexual violence inspired by true stories, one of which is a teen drama film entitled Like & Share. This study aims to understand how the audience interprets and responds to sexual violence in the movie. The method used is descriptive semi-structured qualitative research with Stuart Hall's reception analysis. Data were collected through interviews and documentation from ten informants aged 18-24, who were classified into three reception categories: dominant hegemonic position, negotiated position, and oppositional position. The results showed that five informants were in the dominant hegemonic position category, which means they agreed with the movie's message regarding sexual violence. Three informants were in the negotiated position category, indicating they agreed but added personal views. Two informants were in the oppositional position category, showing their disagreement with the movie's message.

Abstract

Abstract Purbayan tourist village has diverse tourism potential, ranging from religious, cultural, historical, and culinary tourism. These various tourist attractions have an attraction for domestic and foreign tourists. Various tour packages have been developed, including cultural tour packages, craft tour packages, and educational tour packages. Unfortunately, until now, few tourists know about and want to visit these attractions because people still need to learn more about tourist attractions in Purbayan. Various activities can be carried out to attract tourists, including collaborating with various agencies, institutions, schools, and tour travel agents. The problem faced by the management of the Purbayan tourism village is the need for more understanding of the village administrators in preparing proposals to offer cooperation to related parties in educational tourism and other tourism activities. Based on these problems, it is necessary to have training activities in preparing proposals for institutional cooperation offers for the management of the Purbayan tourist village. The purpose of this community service activity is to increase partners' knowledge in preparing cooperation proposals so that there is an increase in the capacity of institutional cooperation. This community service activity was conducted using an offline training method with target partners, namely the management of the Purbayan tourist village, a total of 12 people. This activity is carried out through socialization, training, and evaluation stages. The training activities were held on 12-13 August 2023. This community service activity has gone well and has provided an output or impact in the form of increasing the knowledge of the training participants regarding the preparation of cooperation proposals by 32,5%. Partner knowledge, which was initially 55,83%, increased to 88,33%. With this increase in knowledge, it is hoped that the cooperation of the Purwayan Tourism Village Institute will continue to increase to bring in more tourist visits. Abstrak Kampung wisata Purbayan memiliki potensi wisata yang beragam, mulai dari wisata religi, wisata budaya dan sejarah, serta wisata kuliner. Berbagai tempat wisata tersebut memiliki daya tarik bagi para wisatawan domestik maupun mancanegara. Berbagai paket wisata telah dikembangkan diantaranya paket wisata budaya, paket wisata kerajinan, dan paket wisata edukasi Sayangnya, sampai saat ini masih sedikit wisatawan yang mengetahui dan mau berkunjung ke tampat-tempat wisata tersebut. Hal ini dikarenakan masyarakat masih belum banyak mengetahui tempat-tempat wisata di Purbayan. Berbagai kegiatan dapat dilakukan untuk menarik para wisatawan, salah satunya adalah melakukan kerjasama dengan berbagai instansi, lembaga atau sekolah dan agen tour travel. Permasalahan yang dihadapi oleh pengurus kampung wisata Purbayan adalah kurangnya pemahaman para pengurus kampung wisata dalam menyusun proposal untuk menawarkan kerjasama kepada pihak terkait dalam kegiatan wisata edukasi maupun kegiatan wisata lainya. Berdasarkan pada permasalantersebut maka perlu adanya kegiatan pelatihan penyusunan proposal penawaran kerjasama lembaga kepada pengurus kampung wisata Purbayan. Tujuan dari kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan mitra dalam menyusun proposal kerjasama sehingga terjadi peningkatan kapasitas kerjasama lembaga. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini dilakukan dengan metode pelatihan secara offline dengan sasaran mitra yaitu pengurus kampung wisata Purbayan yang berjumlah 12 orang. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan melalui tahapan sosialisasi, pelaksanaan pelatihan, dan evaluasi. Kegiatan pelatihan dilaksanakan pada tanggal 12-13 Agustus 2023. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini telah berjalan dengan baik dan memberikan luaran atau dampak berupa peningkatan pengetahuan para peserta pelatihan mengenai penyusunan proposal kerjasama sebesar 32,5%. Pengetahuan mitra yang semula 55,83% meningkat menjadi 88,33%. Dengan meningkatnya pengetahuan tersebut, diharapkan kerjasama lembaga kampung wisata purbayan akan terus meningkat sehingga mendatangkan kunjungan wisata yang lebih banyak lagi.

TikTok already has the power to spread news apart from providing entertainment content. The emergence of TikTok is very massive and is used by many groups. TikTok brings a novelty with its content which is not only entertaining like lots of challenge videos and also often informative because many news channels have started to use TikTok as their media platform. One of them is the Bikini Bottom News TikTok account which actively reports the latest information on both socio-political issues and issues of international celebrities. The expertise of journalists and the credibility of TikTok, which started as an entertainment platform, come into question when we talk about news. This study analyzes the expertise and credibility of participatory online news in the visual community or citizens. Using case studies by conducting literature reviews and discussions with informants who have the same background, namely students regarding the bikini.bottom.news account, the authors obtain data that the TikTok platform, especially on the bikini.bottom.news account has two acceptances, which are considered to have met the skill requirements of a journalist to be trusted for the credibility of the news content and are considered not in accordance with the provisions of the expertise of a journalist and the content is considered not credible.
