Abstract

This study aims to describe the ability of critical thinking with cognitive style by applying Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) learning model with visual media on the subject of environmental pollution in Islamic Junior High School Alhuda Sedayulawas Lesson Year 2016/2017. The subjects of this study are the seventh grade students of Islamic Alhuda Islamic Junior High School as many as 26 students, consisting of 5 students of reflective cognitive style, 5 students of cognitive impulsive style, 8 students with cognitive style accurately and 8 students cognitively slow inaccurate. Data collection techniques are critical thinking tests on the subject of environmental pollution referring to the Ennis (1985) indicator, for cognitive style tests using the Matching Familiar Figures Test (MFFT) test referring to Warli (2010). Data critical thinking techniques used nonparametric statistical analysis with Mann Whitney test (mann-whitnet test), for cognitive style data analysis obtained by Matching Familiar Figures Test (MFFT) test. Based on the results of research that has been done shows that children who have accurate cognitive style accurate way of critical thinking is better than other cognitive-style children. The conclusion is that cognitive-style students are accurately better than other cognitive-style students on the subject of environmental pollution through Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) learning models with visual media.

Abstract

Identification of DNA polymorphisms in teak is important. It is a first step to determine the presence of genetic varia-tion in teak. The information of genetic variation is needed for teak breeding development. RAPD is one of method which can be used for identification of DNA polymorphism. This study aim to get the RAPD primer which can detect the DNA polymorphism in teak. Benefits of this study are provide information about primer which can detect the DNA polymorphism in teak, DNA polymorphism data can be used for genetic variation analysis which needed for teak breeding development. The primers which used in this study shown the DNA polymorphism in teak. The primer are OPF6 (5'-GGGAATTCGG-3 '), OPF8 (5'-GGGATATCGC-3'), and OPF11 (5'-TTGGTACCCC-3 '). The highest DNA polymorphism is shown in DNA which amplified with OPF-8 primer.

Abstract

Sampah adalah bahan yang tidak digunakan lagi yang berbentuk padat maupun cair.Sampah akan menimbulkan berbagai masalah jika tidak ditangani secara baik Sampah-sampah di laut merupakan salah satu sumber pencemaran laut dan sebagai penyebab global berbagai dampak ekologis. sampah anorganik merupakan sampah yang sulit membusuk,seperti botol dan gelas plastik minuman,kertas,kayu dan sebagainya Sampah organik ,sampah yang cepat membusuk,seperti kulit buah-buahan,sayuran,sisa makanan,buah-buahan,daun -daun kering.Sampah organik ini dapat diolah menjadi kompos.Pengomposan dapat dilakukan dengan menggunakan biourine.Tujuan dari pelatihan ini mengetahui bahaya sampah organik dan memanfaatkan sampah organik menjadi kompos dengan bamtuan biourine.Metode yang digunakan adalah sosialisasi bahaya sampah organik,pelatihan dan worshop.Kesipulan dari pelatihan ini dari tanggapan peserta pelatihan mengenai bahan yang digunakan dalam pelatihan banyak tersedia di lingkungan tempat tinggal mereka,terutama bahan EM4,tetapi mereka tidak tahu penggunaannya.Keunggulan pelatihan ini,kompos dari sampah organik dengan bantuan biourine dapat mempercepat pertumbuhan tanaman dan juga pupuk ini ramah lingkungan.Namun pupuk ini memiliki kekurangan yaitu proses pembuatanya membutuhkan waktu yang lama.

Abstract

The period of the pandemic COVID-19 has affected educational activities in Indonesia so that the learning process that was previously carried out offline must be transferred to offline or online. This makes new changes for teachers by utilizing digital media or technology as alternative media in conveying information as e-learning learning. The practicum that was previously carried out offline must change to online by being carried out at their respective homes. The practicum continues but must be accompanied by a guideline as an organizer of the practicum. Thus the practical instructions are designed in a digital book to make it easier for students to access them via the internet. Based on this, a study was conducted to develop a practical guide flipbook on the validity of a learning solution during the COVID-19 pandemic. The development model used is 4-D (four D). The model only arrives at three stages because of the current conditions, namely the COVID-19 pandemic which includes the definition, design, and development stages. The technique of collecting data is by distributing instruments in the form of validation sheets to expert validators. The validator consists of 2 Biology teachers, 1 linguist, and 1 student. The validation sheet consists of five validity aspects, namely material/content aspects, presentation aspects, language aspects, graphic aspects, and evaluation. The results of the validation test are then averaged to find out the validity. Based on the results of the validation test, the average value was 81.5%. This value is categorized as very valid

Abstract

The 21st Century is an era of knowledge because knowledge becomes the main foundation of all aspects of life. Knowledge era is an era with the demands of a more complex and challenging, where this era of enormous influence on education. Therefore, education is faced with the challenge to produce quality human resources in meeting the challenges and demands of a competitive nature. For that skills such as acting and thinking critically, creatively, work collaboratively, cross-cultural understanding, communication, computer controlled, career and learning to accept required on this knowledge era. Entering the era of knowledge, education in Indonesia is preparing for the educational system in order to prepare skilled and skilled labor needed in the process of industrialization, and foster and develop a mastery of the various branches of science and technology expertise. Abstract

Education has an important role in the information age and knowledge, which in this era of rapid change in many areas of life. Mind, knowledge, and the organization is a prominent factor in the era of information and knowledge. Educational institution should be able to prepare the profile of graduates who have the competencies relevant to the new age or information age. Some of the competencies necessary to be able to survive in the information age and knowledge are: 1) critical thinking ability and willingness to work hard, (2) creativity, (3) kalaborasi, (4) cross-cultural understanding, (5) communication, (6) operates a computer, (7) ability to learn independently. In this regard it is in science education should be reinforced with mathematics as a way of thinking of science, science laboratories equipped, the education of creativity, development of digital education.

Abstract

The success of reclamation is largely determined by many things including the fertility of the planting media. The fertility of the planting media is related to fertilizer, from the litter found in post-mining land that can be utilized for making organic fertilizer. The purpose of this study is to examine the ecological and economic aspects of leaf litter as organic fertilizer in the reclaimed land of limestone mining. Method: Laboratory experimental research with method Bokhasi Results from this study proved that there are differences in the nutrient content of P, C and N in the reclamation land in 2010, 2014 and 2016. Processing leaf litter into organic fertilizer can provide ecological and economic benefits for the company and for the surrounding community.

Abstract

Training in researching e-resources for the preparation of scientific articles for teachers in the Tuban district has been carried out. Teachers in the Tuban district have received training in researching e-resources for the preparation of scientific articles. This activity is carried out as an effort to improve teacher professionalism in writing scientific articles. This training aims to provide understanding and skills in researching e-resources for the preparation of scientific articles for teachers in Tuban Regency. This training participant is limited to 15 people, considering that they are still in a COVID-19 condition. The method used is a lecture combined with a discussion during the socialization. The demonstration method is carried out during the e-resources research activities. Meanwhile, to record the activities of training participants through documentation. Based on the assignment to search for articles from Science Direct, Google Advance, Garuda, Library Genesis, Sinta, DOAJ, and Scopus, the results showed that all participants scored above 90 on average. Resources for finding scientific articles of research results are very good.

Abstract

Project-Based Learning is one of the learning approaches that can improve students' critical thinking skills. The aims of this study are to 1) design a Project-based e-worksheet in Biology to improve students' critical thinking skills, and 2) describe a Project-based e-worksheet in Biology to improve students' critical thinking skills. The model used in this study is a 4-D development model which has 4 stages, namely: 1) the definition stage, 2) the design stage, 3) the development stage, and 4) the disseminate stage. However, this research only reached the development stage, namely the expert validation stage due to limitations in the study. Validity assessment criteria include the appropriateness of content, systematics, graphics, and language. The data on the validity of the e-worksheet were obtained from the results of the assessments of three expert validators, namely one biologist and two biology subject teachers. The results showed that the average obtained in the aspect of content feasibility was 79.6%, systematic feasibility was 88.1%, graphic feasibility was 98.3%, and language feasibility was 83.3%. The overall average percentage of Project-based e-worksheets on Biology subjects to improve students' critical thinking skills is 87.3%. with very valid categories based on the eligibility criteria of content, systematics, graphics, and language. because the percentage score is above 70%. Thus, it can be concluded that the Project-based e-worksheet on Biology subjects to improve students' critical thinking skills has been designed to meet the validity criteria

Abstract

Several studies have been carried out related to fish smoking processing centers that have caused environmental problems, but none have linked the green ergonomics factor as a solution to these problems. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between the influence of ergonomic factors on physical environmental conditions and processing efficiency at the Fish Smoking Center of Plaza Ikan Karangsari Tuban. This study used the PLS-SEM analysis technique to describe the relationship between the influence of green ergonomic factors on physical environmental conditions and processing efficiency. The data were analyzed using the SmartPLS technique to evaluate the measurement model and structural model. According to the data analysis, it was found that at Plaza Ikan Karangsari Tuban, the ergonomic factors do not have significant effect on processing efficiency with a statistical t value of 0.422. The ergonomic factors have a significant effect on the work environment with a t statistic of 5.305 and processing efficiency with a t statistic of 2.608. Thus, it can be concluded that the green ergonomic factors in the fish smoking center at Karangsari Tuban do not have significant effect on processing efficiency and have a significant effect on physical working environment conditions.
