Abstract

Ruang Terbuka Hijau Kawasan Perkotaan (RTHKP) berperan penting dalam mengatasi masalah degradasi lingkungan seperti: menurunkan kadar CO2, meningkatkan kadar O2, area resapan air, serta sebagai tempat interaksi masyarakat.. Salah satu ruang terbuka hijau di Kota Kediri adalah taman kota yang sebagian besar vegetasinya berupa pohon dan setiap spesies memiliki arsitektur khas.. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui model arsitektur pohon yang ada di taman Kota Kediri. Penelitian dilakukan pada bulan Juni 2022 dengan metode jelajah dan kajian literatur pada tiga taman di Kota Kediri yaitu Taman Sekartaji, Taman Hutan Joyoboyo dan Taman Ngronggo.. Hasil dari penelitian ini didapatkan 33 jenis pohon, 17 suku dengan 11 model arsitektur pohon yaitu: model Rauh, Troll, Corner, Roux, Scarrone, Attims, Aubreville, Leeuwenberg, Massart, Prevost dan Tomlinson

Abstract

The community of Kemlaten village has a habit of using wild plants as food and medicine. The purpose of this study was to describe the types of wild plants used by the Kemlaten village community, Parengan District, as food and medicine and as well as their morphology. This quantitative descriptive study was conducted in March-April 2022 in the Kemlaten village area. The results of the study showed that there were 25 species of wild plants used as food and medicine by the Kemlaten villagers. Of the 25 wild plant species, 32% are used as food and 68% as medicine. The results of the morphological analysis of wild plants used as food and medicine by the villagers of Kemlaten are dominated by single-leaf plants and woody stems. The morphology of these wild plants differs from one another according to the type or family of these wild plants.

Abstract

So far, cognitive style-based critical thinking, collaborative, and communication skills have yet to be utilized optimally. Additionally, there has been no research on optimizing 21st-century skills in cognitive style through the implementation of Figma Contextual Teaching Learning Learning Media (Figma-CTLLM). The research aims to optimize critical thinking, communication, and collaboration skills based on reflective and impulsive cognitive styles by implementing Figma-CTLLM in Poaceae diversity learning. The type of research is quantitative descriptive research. The research subjects consisted of 26 students. Research instruments include MFFT sheets, critical thinking and communication skills in written form test sheets, and collaboration skills observation sheets, all of which had been validated and proven reliable for use. The data analysis technique was carried out descriptively and quantitatively in three stages. The research results showed that eight students had a reflective cognitive style, and eight had an impulsive one. The results of the analysis of each skill show that there is no significant difference in critical thinking, communication, and collaboration skill scores between students with a reflective and impulsive cognitive style. This is proven by the average percentage value for each skill in the same category, which is very high among students with a reflective cognitive style and impulsiveness. This was also confirmed by the Mann-Whitney U test for each skill with a significance value (p) above 0.05 (p>0.05). Based on the results, the implementation of figma-CTLLM can optimize critical thinking, communication, and collaboration skills in students with reflective and impulsive cognitive styles in Poaceae diversity learning.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendesain dan menguji validitasl LKPD yang terintegrasi dengan CTL untuk meningkatkan berpikir kritis pada materi sistem koordinasi sehingga akan memudahkan peserta didik mengaitkan materi ajar dengan kehidupanl sehari-hari. Model pengembangan 4-D untuk menghasilkanl produk LKPD. Teknik pengumpulanl data yaitu dengan metode kuantitatif menggunakan hasil instrumen lembar validasi LKPD yang dilakukan oleh tiga validator ahli, yaitu tiga guru biologi. Aspek yang dinilai dalam instrumen validasi LKPD meliputi; organisasi LKPD, prosedur, pertanyaan masalah, kebahasaan dan kegrafisan. Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa hasil uji LKPD aspek organisasi sebesar 97,2%, aspek prosedur 91,7%, aspek masalah 95,8% dan aspek kebahasaan 89,6% sehingga  hasil rata-rata uji validitas LKPD adalah 93,8% dengan kriteria sangat valid. Kesimpulan dari validitas LKPD materi sistem koordinasi terintegrasi dengan pembelajaran CTL untuk meningkatkan berpikir kritis peserta didik adalah 93,8%. Oleh karena itu, dapat dikatakan bahwa LKPD materi sistem koordinasi terintegrasi dengan pembelajaran CTL yang dikembangkan telah sangat valid.

Abstract

Science Process Skills (SPS) need to be developed to improve teacher quality in teaching. The existence of the Covid-19 pandemic caused Biology teachers to be unable to carry out practicums so the SPS were helpless. This study aims to analyze the science process skills of biology teacher candidates in vertebrate zoology courses. The research method used is descriptive quantitative through survey techniques. This research was conducted at the PGRI Ronggolawe University and involved 21 participants. This study uses an instrument in the form of an observation sheet to measure scientific process skills. The SPS indicators that are measured are the skills of observing, measuring, compiling tables, and obtaining and processing data. The data obtained is then interpreted into very high, high, low, and very low categories. The percentage of students in each category is then calculated as a map of their science process skills through analysis of quantitative descriptive data. The results showed that 65.5% of prospective biology teachers had SPS scores that were in the very high, high, low, and very low categories. 7.5% has an SPS value which is included in the very low category. In general, biology teacher candidates tend to have very high levels of competency in performing science process skills.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian dan pengembangan ialah mendeskripsikan validitas LKS elektronik berorientasi problem based learning dalam mengembangkan berpikir kritis siswa berdasarkan penilaian validator, dengan desain model ADDIE. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan lembar validasi. Pemaparan data kevalidan dengan cara menganalisis data. Hasil kevalidan produk dinilai oleh ketiga validator dengan kriteria isi, sistematika, kegrafisan, dan bahasa.  Presentase kriteria isi dari validator I sebesar 75%, validator II 86,1%, dan validator III sebesar 86,1% dengan skor rata-rata presentasi 82,4% yang menunjukkan kriteria isi yaitu valid. Untuk kriteria sistematika dari validator I bernilai 91,7%, validator II sebesar 95,8%, dan validator III sebesar 95,8% dengan skor rata-rata sebesar 94,4% yang artinya sangat valid. Sedangkan untuk kriteria kegrafisan pada validator I sebesar 75%, validator II sebesar 85%, dan validator III bernilai 90%, dengan rata-rata presentase 83,3% yang artinya valid. Kriteria bahasa pada validator I bernilai 75%, validator II bernilai 81,3%, dan validator III bernilai 100%, dengan rata-rata presentase sebesar 85,4% dengan kategori valid. Secara umum, berdasarkan dari hasil validasi oleh ketiga validator yang meliputi kriteria isi, sistematika, kegrafisan, dan bahasa memiliki rata-rata presentase sebesar 86,4%. Dengan demikian, LKS elektronik berorientasi problem based learning untuk mengembangkan berpikir kritis siswa dinyatakan valid.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the density of stomata and stomatal structure on Mango leaves in each ring of the cement factory area. The research is descriptive analysis. Sampling was done through a random survey in the Indonesian cement industry Tuban factory which was divided into 3 rings, namely Ring 1 Ring 2 and Ring 3. The parameters observed were stomatal density and damage. The results showed that the density of stomata in Ring 1 showed a percentage of 0.162 which showed a low density while Ring 2 was 371, 91 which showed a medium density and Ring 3 was 449.07 which showed a medium density. The results presented in Table 2 on the level of stomatal damage show a difference in the percentage of stomatal damage on mango leaves (Mangifera indica) located in Ring 1 and Ring 2. In stomata in Ring 1 with a greater percentage of stomatal damage, which is 34.7% compared to stomatal damage to mango leaves located in Ring 2 by 20.7% and Ring 3 by 11%. The conclusion of this study shows that the density and damage to the stomata of mango leaves (Mangifera indica) can be influenced by the concentration of pollutants. the level of density and stomatal damage in the Semen Indonesia Tuban area shows that the closer to the factory area the higher the level of air pollution which causes the nearest area to have high stomatal damage and high stomatal density.

Abstract

Background: Bektiharjo tourism object is a natural tourism object with abundant potential for biodiversity, unspoiled environmental conditions, and diverse socio-economic interactions of the community. This study aims to describe the use of Bektiharjo tourism objects as a source of learning through studies on the abundance of biodiversity, environmental feasibility conditions, and socio-economic conditions in Bektiharjo tourism objects. Methods: This study uses a quantitative descriptive. The instruments used in this study were observation sheets and questionnaires. Observation sheets can use to obtain data on biodiversity abundance and tourism objects' environmental feasibility conditions. Questionnaires were used to obtain data on the socio-economic conditions of the community. Data is collected with analysis descriptively. Results: The results showed that Bektiharjo tourism object has an abundance of biodiversity in the category of high diversity, high evenness, stable community, and relatively moderate species dominance, environmental feasibility conditions are categorized as excellent, and socio-economic conditions are categorized as excellent. Conclusion: Bektiharjo tourism objects can be a learning resource for biology education students. From the results of this study, it is hoped that it can be an alternative to using tourist objects as a source of learning that various levels of education can use.

Abstract

Developing critical thinking considered as an important goal of education. Critical thinking skills could help students to overcome the problems faced by students. This research aimed at developing a problem-based learning model integrated with Quizizz media to improve students' learning interest and critical thinking skills. This study applied the Research & Development (R&D) technique and the ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation) development model. The resulting product is a problem-based learning model design integrated with Quizizz, a teaching module, and Quizizz media. The design was validated by validators. The validation results of the development that related to content are assessed from nine aspects having an average value of 88.84%, with the category very valid or used without improvement. The validation results in terms of model constructs have an average value of 87.21% with the criteria very valid or used without improvement. The practicality test of the learning model was carried out by implementation observations, it had average value of 93.75% with the category of very practical or used without improvement. The Effectiveness Test using the Mann-Whitney test obtained an Asymp Sig (2-tailed) value of 0.020<0.05 and U count 8<U table 10. It showed that there was significance difference between the increase in students' critical thinking abilities with impulsive and reflective cognitive styles. The results of the survey showed that the responses of students with an impulsive cognitive style to learning model activities were 84.67% and the responses of students with a reflective cognitive style were 91.49%. it can be concluded that the problem-based learning model integrated with Quizizz media can improve students' learning interest and critical thinking skills.

Abstract

Critical thinking skills and science process skills are an important part of 21st century competencies that must be possessed by students. One of the efforts that can be done to improve these abilities is by utilizing learning media designed in accordance with the right learning model. This study aimed at developing E-LKPD integrated with the Problem Based Learning model, to improve students' critical thinking skills and science process skills. The research was development research using the Plomp model, through the stages of initial investigation, design in the form of E-LKPD based on the Live Worksheet Platform, so that it was interactive and can be accessed online. The research on this E-LKPD was carried out through validity, practicality, and effectiveness tests. The results showed that the E-LKPD integrated with Problem Based Learning has a high level of validity both material validity and media validity. The effectiveness test is proven to improve critical thinking skills and science process skills. Thus, The E-LKPD is suitable to be used as learning media in teaching science in junior high school.
