Abstract

This research aimed to analyze the impact of corporate social responsibility (CSR) in increasing the profitability and stock price. This research used an explanatory research approach or a quantitative analysis. The sampling took thirteen companies registered in Sri Kehati Index at the period of 2011–2015. The developed model consists of three independent variables and two dependent variables. This research used the purposive sampling method. The analytical method used in this study was multiple regression analysis on annual data of 2011 to 2015 period. The results of this study indicated that the environmental CSR has no significant to the profitability (NPM), yet has a positively significant effect on stock price. In addition, economic CSR has no significant on profitability (NPM) and stock price, while social CSR has a positively significant effect on profitability (NPM) and has no significant effect on stock price. The correlation between the three CSR variables to profitability (NPM) and stock price is still relatively weak; i.e. 34.5% for profitability (NPM), and 27.3% for stock price, while the contribution of this variable to NPM is only 11.9%, and 7.5% to the stock price.Keywords: environment_CSR, economic_CSR, social CSR, NPM , and stock_priceAbstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis pengaruh investasi CSR dalam meningkatkan profitabilitas dan harga saham. Studi yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah explanatory research atau studi penjelasan dengan pendekatan Kuantitatif. Sampel yang digunakan adalah 13 perusahaan yang terdaftar pada indeks Sri Kehati periode 2011–2015. Model yang dikembangkan terdiri dari tiga varibel bebas dan dua variabel terikat. Metode yang dipakai dalam pengambilan sampel menggunakan metode purposive sampling. Analisis menggunakan model regresi berganda dan data tahunan periode 2011–2015. Hasil studi ini memperlihatkan bahwa CSR_lingkungan tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap profitabilitas(NPM), tetapi berpengaruh signifikan positif terhadap harga_saham. CSR_ekonomi tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap profitabilitas (NPM) dan harga_saham, sedangkan CSR_sosial berpengaruh signifikan positif terhadap profitabilitas (NPM) dan tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap harga_saham. Hubungan antara ketiga variabel CSR terhadap profitabilitas (NPM) dan harga_saham masih tergolong lemah yaitu 34,5% untuk profitabilitas (NPM) dan 27,3% untuk harga_saham, Adapun untuk kontribusi variabel ini terhadap profitabilitas (NPM) hanya 11,9% dan 7,5% terhadap harga_saham.Kata kunci: CSR_lingkungan, CSR_ekonomi, CSR_sosial, NPM, harga_saham

Abstract

The objective of this research is to find out about character education cares environment based on local knowledge. The studies method used is ethnographic with qualitative approach. This method is implemented because the research is related to the social, traditional ceremony, customary societies, and social as well as cultural phenomena. The data are gathered through in-depth interview, observation, and documentation. The selection of respondent as samples uses purposive sampling technique. The result is probed meticulously through technique triangulation. The result shows that Urug societies have created societies character for the environment both social and ecology environment through applicating and conserve the tradition of heritage namely picking must ask for permission. The tradition is conducted collectively as societies habit when they release cultivating of paddies. There are two sorts of ceremony cultural such as Harvesting traditional ceremony (seren taun) and alms to earth (sedekah bumi). Permiting tradition in picking paddies must be conducted  because they have the view that a person must admit to the god before planting paddies through alms to earth. When the time for harvesting coming, societies propose admitting again before collecting paddies in the field. Once after paddies have been stored, Urug societies held harvesting ceremony collectively as a form that they have been gratefully when they obtain paddies yield. The other is Urug societies avoid greedy principle, it enacts Urug societies avoid from the environment devastated typically land because they farm paddies only one time in a year rather than 3-4 periods in a year. Other is Urug societies have applicated environment ethics both ecocentrism and biocentrism perspective to preserve nature from ravage. They also select agriculture as their venue to survive because they think that farmer is honest person and vanish envy temper in their life. Farmer embedded cooperation, mutual assisting, and mutual supporting among them.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to investigate the community resilience based on Leuit (traditional storage of paddies) in Cipatat Kolot customary community in Bogor, West Java. The research method exerts an ethnographic qualitative approach. To assemble data, an in-depth interview with the Cipatat Kolot customary community leaders and observation and documentation was used. The primary information sources of the research come from the leaders of Cipatat Kolot. The result is that the Cipatat Kolot community conserves traditional storage, namely leuit as a traditional building to store paddies from disasters like flooding. It can strengthen cultural resilience because storing paddies in leuit is a traditional heritage from their forefather. Directly, the cultural value can be nurtured from vanishing amid environmental and cultural changes, which can encourage people’s resilience. When storing paddies, there are rules like people must keep half of the overall paddy yields in leuit, and a half of paddy yields must be store at home. People can directly adapt to climate, environmental issues, and eco-catastrophe because they have ample staple food in traditional storage and house.

Abstract

The objective of this research to investigate about rareongan sarumpi for rural development in Situ Udik Village Bogor West Java. The research method used qualitative approach. The data are gathred through in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation. The selection of sample as informant exert purposive sampling technique. The result is the leader of village exert non hierarchy and range between society and chief of village. The impact is leader and society are mutual support. The other is community development in Situ Udik village use bottom-up action like rereongan serumpi for society. The resources come from society and give back again result to society. The other is rereongan serumpi conserve gotong royong as cultural. The implementation of rereongan serumpi utilize mutual cooperation (gotong royong). People applicate togetherness, willing to help another people as well as conserve charity for assisting people. Lastly, rereongan serumpi is related to social capital. Individual and other person in inside group have strong social binding as well as society build social connection outside of local people

Abstract

This study aims to determine disaster education to increase environmental and disaster literacy, the role of the Disaster Agency in increasing knowledge about disasters. Another objective is to determine the behavior of student mothers in dealing with disasters through disaster literacy. The method used is qualitative with descriptive analysis. This method is applied because the research is related to the survey. Data collection was carried out through questionnaires, interviews, observation and documentation. Selection of informants using purposive sampling technique. The results are scrutinized through analysis of percentages. The results showed that the students' mothers were involved in disaster education so as to improve attitudes, knowledge and behavior. Another finding is that the students know about the role and function of disaster institutions to increase their literacy, usually information about disasters. Lastly, the behavior of the student's mother that has not been implemented properly, such as disaster risk reduction and environmental improvement of the house, includes not harvesting rainwater properly, less behavior in cultivating plants and fruit trees. At the same time, they have not created catchment areas for storing rainwater.Rsearch have contribution to goverment to create disaster literasy policy as well as the private sector which participate in disaster literacy

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to identify the Islamic religious values contained in the Betawi tradition, namely the Nyorog tradition. The nyorog tradition is a tradition that delivers food between family and neighbors which is usually carried out by Betawi residents at the time of Eid al-Fitr. This research uses qualitative research. The research approach used is Ethnographic Field research. The sample collection technique in this study used the purposive sampling technique. The results of the study show that Nyorog is a tradition in Betawi society that still survives despite experiencing many forms of change. Another finding is that there are social values in the nyorog tradition including the value of friendship between friends because it is a place to build social relationships. Family relationships are also built socially between young people and older people. In addition, nyoroh also contains the value of social assistance because nyorog makes the community close so that if there is a disaster in the family, the family and neighbors will help. There is even a value of social approach to nyorog where when there is a new bride, both parties visit each family from the female and male sides. Nyorog also contains religious values, especially Islam because the behavior in Nyorog activities is in accordance with Islamic teachings.

Abstract

This research aims to investigate the tradition of cleaning value for education. The research method uses an ethnographic qualitative approach. This method is implied because this research is related to society and culture as well as the tradition of community. To gather data was used as an in-depth interview. Sample are selected through purposive technique. The result is probed meticulously through triangulation technique and triangulation sources. The result shows the societies still preserve tradition cleaning to tighten social connection and save the societies from an ailment which is impacted by poor hygiene as well as avoiding from a natural disaster. Another is societies make garbage bank as the method to reduce an-organic sewage and decline organic garbage because the societies bury organic sewage in biopori hole. As a result, It can combat nature disaster. The other is there is social education because the tradition as exemplary to young generation to continue this habit in the future and as a model to build social solidarity among societies. It also has environmental education because the societies have to learn to care about nature environment and religion value because religion teaches the societies to perform hygiene in environment, body, house and the place for worship

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menemukan modal sosial pada masyarakat dan nilai-nilai agama untuk mengatasi covid-19. Metode penelitian menggunakan pendekatan pendekatan etnografi. Metode ini digunakan karena berkaitan dengan tradisi tolong menolong dan masyarakat. Untuk mengumpulkan data yang digunakan sebagai wawancara mendalam. Sampel dipilih melalui teknik purposive. Hasilnya diteliti dengan cara teknik triangulasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa modal sosial masyarakat yaitu adanya kedekatan secara sosial sehingga memperkuat masyarakat untuk menghadapi wabah covid-19. Ditambah lagi dengan jaringan sosial antara masyarakat dan lembaga pemerintah untuk menanggulangi covid-19 sehingga masyarakat mampu bertahan menghadapi wabah covid-19. Selain itu, modal sosial seperti saling membantu membantu, saling bahu-membahu dan saling berbuat baik menjadi tradisi pada masyarakat menghadapi covid-19. Nilai ini terkoneksi dengan ajaran Islam sebab agama memotivasi untuk berbuat kepada tetangga dan kepada orang lain. Masyarakat menjadi tangguh karena nilai agama menjadi prinsip dalam hidup. Bagi masyarakat musibah covid-19 sebagai ujian yang datang dari Allah. Manusia tidak boleh mengeluh dengan ujian tersebut dan manusia harus sabar menghadapi wabah covid-19. Kemudian, masyarakat beradaptasi untuk menanggulangi covid-19 dengan cara tidak menggunakan pertemuan face-to face atau membatasi jumlah anggota yang datang

Abstract

Culture and traditions have started to become extinct so it needs to be investigated further to save the values of tradition and culture. This study aims to find social and cultural capital as well as the economic value of angkringan. The research method used is descriptive qualitative method. While the sampling was done by purposive technique. The results showed that there were social values in the angkringan culinary tradition because the traders or owners interacted socially with consumers from various groups. Even consumers between consumers can say hello and between consumers and angkringan owners. In addition, there is the value of mutual help because the prices of food and drinks at angkringan are very affordable so that they can help consumers who lack funds during the Covid-19 period. In addition, there is a health value because the drinks served at angkringan include ginger drinks and wedang uwuh which are useful for maintaining health, especially during the covid-19 period. Then, angkringan is a cultural element that must be maintained through the traditional food and beverage. Angkringan also using social media to adapt the outbreak of covid-19. Lastly, to maintain the quality of the food, the cook should not change so that it does not change in terms of taste

Abstract

Penelitian bertujuan menemukan nilai-nilai sosial dan perilaku lingkungan pada kegiatan jumat berkah, muludan dan kerjabakti. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu kualitatif. Pengambilan data dengan teknik purposive. Sedangkan pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan wawancara mendalam dengan responden. Hasil penelitian dianalisis dengan teknik triangulasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa masyarakat bekerjasa dengan anggota masyarakat yang lain pada kegiatan acara muludan dan saling membantu kepada anggota masyarakat yang sedang sakit. Nilai sosial dan pahala juga terdapat pada jumat berkah dimana hari ini dianggap momen terbaik untuk bersedekah. Pada saat acara muludan, social capital nampak ketika ibu-ibu sangat kompak untuk melaksanakan kegiatan muludan terutama pada saat menyediakan konsumsi dan perencanaan kegiatan muludan. Disamping itu, ada social networking pada masyarakat sebagai jembatan penghubung secara sosial kepada dunia luar untuk mendapatkan ustad yang berpotensi sebagai penceramah. Pada saat ini terjadi pemilihan sumberdaya manusia yang berkualitas karena atas rekomendasi dari anggota masyarakat yang mengenal calon yang mengisi acara muludan. Pada saat itu juga terdapat nilai-nilai pemberdayaan gender menjadi bagian dalam kegiatan ini karena peran perempuan dan laki-laki bisa optimal. Disamping itu, kegiatan kerja bakti juga dilakukan oleh pemuda untuk bersih-bersih sungai-sungai agar terhindar dari bencana dan lingkungan
