Abstract

Indonesia merupakan negara kepulauan yang memiliki keanekaragaman hayati dengan berbagai macam jenis flora dan fauna. Salah satunya adalah harimau sumatera (Panthera tigris sumatrae) yang keberadaan populasinya masuk ke dalam kategori status kritis terancam punah (critically endangered). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh dari sosialisasi fatwa MUI terhadap pengetahuan, persepsi dan sikap masyarakat melalui ceramah mengenai ilmu konservasi yang di sampaikan oleh ustadz yang sebelumnya telah mengikuti pelatihan di kawasan Bukit Rimbang-Baling. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu metode kuantitatif dengan alat uji statistik untuk mengetatahu pengaruh antara variabel X dan Y. Metode pengambilan sampel yaitu menggunakan purposive sampling. Sedangkan pengumpulan data dilapangan menggunakan instrumen penelitian berupa kuisioner yang dibagikan kepada masyarakat. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukan pengetahuan memiliki hubungan dengan niat aksi untuk konservasi lingkungan. Demikian hal dengan sikap dan persepsi memiliki hubungan terhadap niat untuk melakukan konservasi lingkungan. Penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa pengetahuan, persepsi dan sikap memiliki hubungan terhadap niat untuk melakukan kegiatan konservasi lingkungan

Abstract

The aim of this research to highlight the corelation among numerous of variable including attitute, knowledge, awarness toward behavior for protecting environment base on Islamic perspective. The method use is quantitative with simple regression testing. Respondents are collected by purposive action. The results are there is corelation between attitude to behavior for protecting nature. The value The results is there are relation among variable to behavior for protecting nature base on Islamic view. Base on testing show that attitude have positive relationship towards behavior with value of correlation about 0.112. While the regression value is abround 0.052 or about 5.2% attitudes affect student behavior. While awareness variable is positive related to behavior with value 0.289. If seen from the calculation of the regression coefficient, awareness affects attitude by 0.043. While the pearson correlation value for Knowledge is positive linkage to behavior with value 0.373. When viewed from the regression value, the value obtained is 0.332. In this variable have meaning that belief affects behavior by 33.2%.

Abstract

This study aims to find scientific, social and environmental learning before the covid outbreak. Another goal is to find learning strategies during the Covid-19 period and learning priorities and challenges faced by teachers and parents during online learning. The research method approach uses a descriptive qualitative approach. Data were collected by in-depth interviews with Dahlia's early childhood education school teacher. The sample was selected through a purposive technique. The results were carefully examined through triangulation and source triangulation techniques. The results showed that environmental learning was carried out to children through miniatures or animal sculptures in the classroom, then taking school children to the zoo to get to know the animals. When the teacher was in class, he asked again what he had seen in nature. The teacher also takes school children to nature to see the plants and animals in the surrounding environment. Meanwhile, to hone the social session, the teacher makes various games such as role-playing games to become a police officer so that there is a cooperation between students. Then, the teacher also uses outdoor games such as swings where there is social learning because they have to be done together. Another way is to play the role of a policeman and some other students play the role of criminals.

Abstract

This study aims to find the social impact, morals, and strategies for dealing with COVID-19 among students. Another goal is to find out the social, religious and psychological impact of COVID-19 on students at Ibn Khaldun University, Bogor. The research method approach uses a descriptive qualitative approach. Data were collected by in-depth interviews with the head of the student class. The sample was selected through a purposive technique. The results were carefully examined through triangulation. The results showed that students could not establish social relations between students and did not participate in campus social organizations. Another finding, the Covid-19 outbreak has an impact on student morals because online meetings are more difficult to foster student morals because teachers do not meet students. In addition, students experience various stresses due to piling tasks and online learning does not face various obstacles such as difficulty communicating with lecturers and not understanding the material. Students take various ways to overcome stress such as listening to favourite music, watching YouTube, playing games, getting enough rest, eating favourite foods such as eating meatballs, straightening intentions, and also strengthening worship and getting closer to God.

Abstract

There are several objectives of this research, namely the COVID-19 disaster to provide natural environmental learning or education to humans, including educating people in climate-friendly and low-emission behaviour, saving energy, saving water, and recognizing the ability of the universe. Another goal is to find the social, religious and psychological impact of COVID-19 that students at Ibn Khaldun University Bogor. The research method approach used a descriptive qualitative approach. Data were collected by in-depth interviews with the class leader of semester VI students. The sample was selected through a purposive technique. The results were scrutinized carefully through triangulation and source triangulation techniques. The results show that students have the view that the arrival of COVID-19 has taught humans to behave friendly to the climate because with the presence of COVID-19, students are no longer at campus, lecturers and campus officers. This method is classified as an action to reduce glass emissions as a cause of global warming. In addition, energy and water are used very little and even at the beginning of the lockdown, these natural resources were not used, thereby educating people to save energy and water through the campus. The use of energy also causes climate problems so that it can economically reduce emissions. After that, humans are taught to live cleanly because to cope with this disaster, humans must maintain the cleanliness of the environment, themselves and places of worship. Then, the COVID-19 outbreak has a social impact because students no longer have face-to-face contact with other students, disrupt religious activities such as religion and also make students psychologically stressed

Abstract

Climate change is characterized by several elements, namely unpredictable rainy and dry seasons, floods and unpredictable droughts. This study aims to determine the indigenous peoples’ local wisdom in adapting to climate change, which includes screening process of local paddy seeds, the use of organic fertilizers, and traditional harvest management strategies. The method used in this research is the qualitative research method combined with the ethnographic approach. This method is applied based on the consideration that the topic of this research is related to the culture and social of indigenous peoples. The data was collected by means of in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation. Informants were selected by using the purposive sampling technique. The results were scrutinized carefully by means of the triangulation process. The results of the study show the facts that the way indigenous peoples deal with climate change is by physically and physiologically selecting seeds and storing seeds for three months so that the seeds will grow stronger. In addition, they only selects paddies that has reached a full state of growth, that is mature to avoid going rotten even though the climate change occurs. Then, they have the traditional rice dryers to get rice dried, thereby enabling those to be more climate-resistant. They also use the organic fertilizer to reduce the production of emissions as a cause of global climate change. Perubahan iklim dapat diamati mulai dari musim penghujan dan musim kering yang tidak menentu, bencana banjir, dan kekeringan yang sulit untuk diprediksi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kearifan lokal pada masyarakat adat dalam beradaptasi terhadap perubahan iklim mulai dari seleksi benih padi lokal, penggunaan pupuk organik, dan manajemen panen secara tradisional. Metode yang digunakan adalah kualitatif dengan pendekatan etnografi. Metode ini diterapkan karena penelitian berkaitan dengan budaya dan sosial masyarakat adat. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui wawancara mendalam, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Pemilihan informan menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Kemudian, hasil pengumpulan data diteliti dengan cermat melalui triangulasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa masyarakat adat mengatasi perubahan iklim dengan melakukan seleksi benih secara fisik dan fisiologi dan menyimpan benih sampai dengan 3 bulan agar benih kuat dalam pertumbuhannya. Disamping itu, petani adat harus memanen padi matang sehingga padi tidak mengalami pembusukan meskipun terjadi perubahan iklim. Kemudian, masyarakat menggunakan mengelola hasil panen dengan alat pengering padi tradisional sehingga hasil panen padi lebih tahan iklim. Setelah itu, masyarakat adat menggunakan pupuk organik sebagai cara untuk memperkecil produksi emisi sebagai penyebab perubahan iklim secara global.

Abstract

The objective of this research to investigate traditional agricultural irrigation based on indigenious knowledge of  customary  urug societies in Bogor West Java. The research method use is Ethnoecology qualitative approach. This method is implemented because research have conection among human (cultural & social) and environment including traditional agriculture water management as well as the knowledge about environment. Data are collected by in-depth interview, observation and documentation. In order to determine respondents as major sources information use purposive sampling technique. The outcome is analized with combination numerous of method such as in-dept interview, observation, and documentation (triangulation data). There are some results including rice paddy field in Urug societies exert traditional terrascering for inventing land for cultivating of paddy because geograhpycally location of wet land paddy is mountainious. The another is traditional irrigation of Urug slue river water (main sources of irrigation) to to susukan (traditional reservoir). After that water is flowed to Selokan and continue to rice paddy field. The person who have mandatory for water agriculture management is mentioned as Ulu-ulu. Ulu-ulu is pivotal person because have chores for ensuring all farmer received water from river, Susukan and selokan. The other finding is Urug customary  societies applicate gotong royong (mutual cooperation) among member of societies typically in traditional agriculture irrigatin activity. Keywords: Indigenious Knowledge, Susukan, Ulu-ulu, Traditional irrigation, traditional agriculture

Abstract

The objective of this research was to investigate home garden value for rural development in Situ Udik Bogor West Java. The research method used ethnographic qualitative approach. This method was related to community, social and environment. The data were collected through in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation. The selection of sample as informant exert purposive sampling technique. The result was probed meticulously through triangulation technique. The result showed that chief of village play imperative role to flourish rural community for program namely one banana trees in each home garden of society. The other was the home gardening impact on economic value. Society in the village can gain numerous merits of one banana trees which is cultivated in yard including community can exert outcome of banana yield for paying property taxes, add household income and allocate for school fee children. The other is to release ecology value. Home gardening has some function including protecting water from the surface flow and avoids environment from flooding disaster, reducing emission which is caused by global warming or climate change, produce oxygen and safeguard of soil fertility. Islam pledge to the person who conserves the natural environment like cultivating trees refers to produce alms and worship.

Abstract

Birds are animals that are very closely related to human life, both to be used as food or to be distributed as a hobby. However, at this time the existence of birds in nature is increasingly experiencing a decline in diversity and is even threatened with extinction. The purpose of this study was to determine the types of birds traded in the city of Pontianak and Kubu Raya regency along with their IUCN status and trade status (CITES). This research was conducted in March-April 2021. The method used was direct observation (recording) and conducting interviews with bird shop owners. The data obtained were analyzed using qualitative descriptive analysis. Based on the results of research that has been done, the number of shops in Pontianak Cityis19 bird shops. Meanwhile, the number of shops in Kubu Raya Regencyis nine bird shops. The most common birds found in stores are from the Muscicapidae family, 48 species of birds traded with least concern (LC) status, five species of near threatened (NT), eight species of vulnerable (VU), and two species of critically endangered (CR). 58 bird species are not included in the CITES appendix list, one species is included in Appendix I, namely Zosterops palpebrosus, and four species are included in Appendix II, namely Leucopsar rothschildi, Garrulax canorus, Pycnonotus zeylanicus, and Melopsittacus undulates. Meanwhile, the majority of the birds (91%) found in the stores come from the wild compared to those from livestock (9%). The results also showed that wild birds were obtained by traders through hunting and buying from others.
