Abstract

Equitable quality infrastructure development is a driving factor and a challenge that must be implemented by the Department of Housing and Settlement Areas in terms of fulfilling urban or residential infrastructure needs and access to basic infrastructure such as residential environmental infrastructure. The purpose of this study was to analyze the efforts of the Department of Housing and Settlement Areas in equitable distribution of infrastructure development for access roads to settlements in Batu City. The type of research used was descriptive research with a qualitative approach. Data collection techniques through interviews, observation, and documentation. The subjects in this study consisted of the Head of the Infrastructure Section, and the Infrastructure Implementing Staff. The research was conducted at the Department of Housing and Settlement Areas of Batu City. Data analysis techniques used in this study consisted of data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results showed that the area in Batu City that had been paved was about 40% in Bumiaji District, 50% in Batu District and 70% in Junrejo District. In addition, the inhibiting factors for the development of paving road access infrastructure for settlements are often overlaps in handling development between the City government and the Village government and the role of the community is not yet optimal. Following up on the findings of this study, the equitable distribution of infrastructure development for residential road access should be optimized.

Abstract

In a general election, political marketing as a strategy for political parties plays a very important role because it is part of the strategy of persuasion activities in the political marketing approach. This paper aims to explain the political marketing strategy of the Gerindra Party in facing the upcoming 2024 legislative election. In order to approach this problem, Adman Nursal's political marketing theory reference is used. The method used in this research is qualitative research with a qualitative descriptive approach. The data were collected through field studies and literature studies. Field studies to obtain primary data by conducting interviews. While library research to obtain secondary data based on books or other readings related to the research and then analyzed qualitatively. The results of this study indicate that the Gerindra Party of Jombang Regency has prepared a strategy in dealing with the 2024 General Election by conducting political research before carrying out the campaign, and the party machine through the structures in the Gerindra Party Branch Executive Board in Jombang Regency.

Abstract

In accordance with the 2013 Law on Community Organizations (Article 40) it is emphasized that the Government and Local Governments are required to empower Community Organizations to improve performance and maintain the survival of Community Organizations. The main focus of this research is to find out how to optimize the National Unity and Political Agency of Malang City in an effort to empower Community Organizations in Malang City, and what are the obstacles in its implementation. In this study using qualitative research methods with a descriptive approach. Based on the research that has been carried out, through the National Unity and Political Agency of Malang City, it is in line with the objectives of the Regional Regulation related to the empowerment of Community Organizations, namely maintaining the survival of Community Organizations, improving the performance of Community Organizations, strengthening the institutional capacity of Community Organizations, and improving the quality of human resources of Community Organizations. In optimizing the empowerment of Community Organizations carried out by the National Unity and Political Agency of Malang city, the target to be achieved in increasing the capacity of Community Organizations is to improve the quality of human resources (HR) of Community Organizations, Then strengthen capacity in improving the performance of Community Organizations. As well as increasing the capacity of Community Organizations in maintaining the survival of Community Organizations through their existence.

Abstract

Considering the role and function of DPRD, one of which is DPRD Malang City, it is very important, then the political communication of DPRD as an institution to the community cannot be ruled out, the aim is none other than to increase the role of the legislature itself. The DPRD's political communication in enhancing the legislative role in Malang City is no exception. Political communication carried out by the Malang City DPRD in increasing the legislative role in Malang City, is carried out by communicating directly with the public who are usually represented by certain elements of society. The strategy used in delivering political communication is carried out in various ways, starting from planning, delivering messages, and managing political communication media. In managing political communication messages, the management of strategic political issues is still minimally carried out by the Malang City DPRD, they also rarely appear in the mass media and news about the Malang City DPRD is also very minimal. To overcome this, the Malang City DPRD uses social media to communicate that is not conveyed through the mass media. Meanwhile, the media used in delivering political communication to the Malang City DPRD is carried out in various ways, either directly, using mass media which are considered to be able to reach the community. wider. Malang City DPRD also has official communication media such as Website, Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter. Through these media, Malang City DPRD conveyed information related to their legislative function as people's representatives.
