Abstract

Persatuan dan kesatuan bangsa sangat penting dalam sebuah negara bangsa (nation state). Indonesia dihadapkan pada persoalan heterogenitas suku, bahasa, ras, agama, dan kedaerahan yang menjadi tantangan dalam membangunan budaya politik nasional. Oleh karena itu tujuan artikle ini adalah untuk mengkaji ikatan primordial dalam proses national and character building. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi literatur. Sementara teknis analisanya menggunakan analisis isi. Kebutuhan data diambil dari berbagai sumber, baik buku, jurnal, maupun dokumen cetak dan digital. Temuan penelitian menunjukan bahwa (1) Primordialisme menjadi unsur yang paling penting dalam kenakaragaman bangsa dan berperan dalam menumbuhkan patriotisme, namun menjadi tantangan ketika membangun budaya nasional, (2) negara melakukan berbagai upaya dalam mempersatukan keragaman memalui berbagai kebijakan seperti monitisasi ideologi yang cenderung mengarah ke totaliter. Hal tersebut berimplikasi pada marginalisasi dan eliminasi yang menghambat kebebasan yang penting dalam membangun kreativitas dan inovasi dalam negara demokrasi.           Unity and diversity is the most urgent thing in a nation-state (nation-state). Indonesia is faced with the problem of ethnic, linguistic, racial, religious, and regional heterogeneity which is a challenge in building a national political culture. Therefore, the purpose of this paper is to examine primordial bonds in the process of national and character building. This study used a qualitative approach with a systematic literature method. While the technical analysis used content analysis. Data needs were taken from various sources, books, journals, and documents, both printed and digital. The research findings show that: (1) Primordialism is the most important element in the diversity of the nation and play a role in fostering patriotism, but it becomes a challenge when building a national culture. (2) The state makes various efforts to unite diversity through various policies such as ideology uniformity which tends to lead to totalitarian. This has implications for marginalization and elimination that hinder freedom which is important in building creativity and innovation in a democratic country.

Abstract

This research aims to look at the supervision carried out by the Malang City DPRD in the handling of the COVID-19 pandemic in the Malang City Government. DPRD supervision is carried out to ensure the implementation of the policies and plans that have been set, and the objectives of handling COVID-19 can be achieved effectively and efficiently. The use of surveillance theory became particularly appropriate in this study. This research method uses qualitative descriptive methods. The data sources obtained are primary data and secondary data. Primary data is obtained from interview results, while secondary data is obtained from literature studies, laws, and other important documents. This research concluded that supervision by the DPRD is needed to control the performance of local governments in handling COVID-19, especially when the handling of COVID-19 is not yet maximal. The views and recommendations of the DPRD are needed to be in harmony with the expectations of people who want the pandemic problem to be quickly resolved.

Abstract

Equitable quality infrastructure development is a driving factor and a challenge that must be implemented by the Department of Housing and Settlement Areas in terms of fulfilling urban or residential infrastructure needs and access to basic infrastructure such as residential environmental infrastructure. The purpose of this study was to analyze the efforts of the Department of Housing and Settlement Areas in equitable distribution of infrastructure development for access roads to settlements in Batu City. The type of research used was descriptive research with a qualitative approach. Data collection techniques through interviews, observation, and documentation. The subjects in this study consisted of the Head of the Infrastructure Section, and the Infrastructure Implementing Staff. The research was conducted at the Department of Housing and Settlement Areas of Batu City. Data analysis techniques used in this study consisted of data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results showed that the area in Batu City that had been paved was about 40% in Bumiaji District, 50% in Batu District and 70% in Junrejo District. In addition, the inhibiting factors for the development of paving road access infrastructure for settlements are often overlaps in handling development between the City government and the Village government and the role of the community is not yet optimal. Following up on the findings of this study, the equitable distribution of infrastructure development for residential road access should be optimized.

Abstract

AbstrakPerforma partai-partai Islam di Indonesia pada setiap pemilihan umum senantiasa stabil meskipun mengalami penurunan jumlah suara. Dalam tulisan ini, kami berupaya menginvestigasi sosialisasi politik kelompok religius (NU) dalam partai Islam (PKB).Telah diketahui secara luas bahwa santri (Muslim taat menurut Geertz) baik yang tradisional maupun yang modern sedang mengalami penurunan dalam demokrasi di Indonesia. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis faktor-faktor yang menyebabkan melemahnya hubungan antara kelompok agama dan partai. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode kualitatif. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui teknik observasi, wawancara dan Focus Group Discussion. Hasil studi ditujukan bahwa NU dan Muhammadiyah tidak mendukung lagi PKB dan PAN. Sejak kelompok Islam bentuk bebas politik kesejajaran, Santri pemilih yang sekarang, lebih pragmatis dan cairan dalam pemilihan. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa NU dan Muhammadiyah tidak lagi mendukung PKB dan PAN. Sejak kelompok Islam mendapat kebebasan dalam berpolitik, santri pemilih lebih pragmatis dan fleksibel dalam menentukan pilihannya pada pemilihan umum.Kata kunci: Kelompok agama, Muhammadiyah, NU, partai politik, pemilu. AbstractThe Performance of Islamic parties in Indonesia form one election to the next, despite are going to decrees but still exist. In this paper we investigate the political sosialization of religious Group (NU) on Islamic Parties (PKB). It is widely recognized that Santri (devout Muslim as categorized Geertz) both traditional and modernism is declining in Indonesian democracies. This study aims to analyze the factors caused the weakening of the relation between religious group and the party. The method used is a qualitative research. Technique data collection likes observation, interview and Focus Group Discussion are used. The results of the study addressed that NU and Muhammadiyah do not Support any more to PKB and PAN. Since Islamic group free form political alignment, Santri voters are now, more pragmatic and liquid in the election.Key Words: Election, Muhammadiyah, NU, Political Parties, Religious Group

Abstract

Since its inception, Golkar is a party that is carried by various functional groups with the aim of building political power to challenge the PKI. Since the reform era, Golkar has been abandoned by many of its support groups that have formed factionalism. The purpose of this study is to analyze the change of factionalism in the internal of Golkar in the post-New Order. The research method used is qualitative descriptive. The data used are secondary data derived from journals, books, and internet. The results show that: Golkar post-New Order experienced many changes in term of factionalism; factionalism that occurred during the New Order period stemmed from functional groups, while after the reforms became a factionalism based on personalism.

Abstract

In a general election, political marketing as a strategy for political parties plays a very important role because it is part of the strategy of persuasion activities in the political marketing approach. This paper aims to explain the political marketing strategy of the Gerindra Party in facing the upcoming 2024 legislative election. In order to approach this problem, Adman Nursal's political marketing theory reference is used. The method used in this research is qualitative research with a qualitative descriptive approach. The data were collected through field studies and literature studies. Field studies to obtain primary data by conducting interviews. While library research to obtain secondary data based on books or other readings related to the research and then analyzed qualitatively. The results of this study indicate that the Gerindra Party of Jombang Regency has prepared a strategy in dealing with the 2024 General Election by conducting political research before carrying out the campaign, and the party machine through the structures in the Gerindra Party Branch Executive Board in Jombang Regency.

Abstract

In accordance with the 2013 Law on Community Organizations (Article 40) it is emphasized that the Government and Local Governments are required to empower Community Organizations to improve performance and maintain the survival of Community Organizations. The main focus of this research is to find out how to optimize the National Unity and Political Agency of Malang City in an effort to empower Community Organizations in Malang City, and what are the obstacles in its implementation. In this study using qualitative research methods with a descriptive approach. Based on the research that has been carried out, through the National Unity and Political Agency of Malang City, it is in line with the objectives of the Regional Regulation related to the empowerment of Community Organizations, namely maintaining the survival of Community Organizations, improving the performance of Community Organizations, strengthening the institutional capacity of Community Organizations, and improving the quality of human resources of Community Organizations. In optimizing the empowerment of Community Organizations carried out by the National Unity and Political Agency of Malang city, the target to be achieved in increasing the capacity of Community Organizations is to improve the quality of human resources (HR) of Community Organizations, Then strengthen capacity in improving the performance of Community Organizations. As well as increasing the capacity of Community Organizations in maintaining the survival of Community Organizations through their existence.

Abstract

E-Voting is an innovation in the village-level electoral (Pilkades) process carried out simultaneously in Magetan Regency for the first time in 2019. The purpose of this study was to describe the implementation of E-Voting elections using the theory of Merilee S. Grindle and taking the locus in Selotinatah Village, Ngariboyo District, with rationalization as the village with the largest population and the most significant area. This research method uses descriptive qualitative research with primary and secondary sources. The results of this study indicate that the implementation of E-Voting in Selotinah Village has been going well. It can be seen from the process that it is concluded that it is efficient and effective in accommodating the political participation of villagers. However, as a new process, socialization and technology quality constraints are again a problem. This is a classic problem in the implementation of public policies in Indonesia, so improvements are needed, especially in the bureaucracy's capacity and the security of the technology adopted.

Abstract

Perkembangan Covid-19 yang melanda Indonesia ternyata berdampak terhadap kepada beberapa sektor, salah satunya adalah sektor ekonomi. Pemerintah yang memiliki wewenang dan tanggungjawab penuh terhadap penanganan covid-19 di Indonesia melalui bantuan sosial ternyata menyimpan beberapa permasalahan ketika penyaluran bantuan sosial dilaksanakan. Desa Kerjo, Kabupaten Trenggalek merupakan salah satu desa yang terdampak sektor ekonominya akibat pandemi covid-19 Permasalahan yang terjadi, Kabupaten Trenggalek ini disebabkan oleh ketidakvalidan data penerima bantuan sosial. Ketidakvalidan data yang terjadi di Desa Kerjo ini disebabkan karena tidak adanya pembaharuan data secara berkala. Permasalahan selanjutnya disebabkan oleh adanya tumpang tindih kebijakan yang dilakukan oleh Pemerintah Pusat. Dimana masih ditemukannya pembuatan sebuah kebijakan yang tidak terkoordinasi dengan baik antara Pemerintah Pusat dan Pemerintah Daerah. Kurangnya sosialisasi tentang bantuan sosial kepada masyarakat mengakibatkan ketidaktahuan mereka tentang bantuan sosial yang mereka dapatkan. Dalam penelitian ini penulis menggunakan metode studi pustaka. Metode studi pustaka ini mengambil dari berbagai sumber kepenulisan ilmiah. Penulis juga mengambil data primer yang berasal dari hasil observasi langsung di Desa Kerjo, Kabupaten Trenggalek. Sedangkan data sekunder diambil dari berbagai sumber literatur.

Abstract

Good local governance can be realized by the implementation of the function of both the government and the Regional Representative Council (DPRD). To realize good national development results, it is necessary to supervise its implementation. The purpose of this study is to describe the supervision of DPRD in the implementation of development in Malang City. The research method used is the descriptive qualitative research method, where the research is carried out in the field in accordance with the existing facts. The research location is located in the office of Commission C of the Malang City DPRD and in the Malang Creative Center project. The results showed that the supervision carried out by the Malang City DPRD in the construction of the Malang Creative Center was carried out by going directly to the field. The implementation of the development goes according to the targets and requirements agreed upon in the contract agreement. Given the importance of supervision, the DPRD must always involve in the implementation of development in Malang City. Broadly speaking, Commission C of the Malang City DPRD did not get any problems from participants who participated in the construction of the Malang Creative Center.
