Abstract

Public services become the main face of the government as a bureaucratic organizer, poor public services from the government will get negative views from the public. The Office of Information and Communication of the City of Kediri as one of the government agencies implements the E-Suket (Electronic Certificate) as an innovation that was sparked to answer the problems of public services that exist in the people of the City of Kediri. The method used is descriptive qualitative method, the research subjects were conducted with the Kediri City Community and the Head of the Communication and Information Resources Development Division of the City of Kediri Communication and Information Office. Basuki Rahmat No. 15, Pocanan, Kediri City. Public service innovation E-Suket (Electronic Certificate) is an increase in public services in the City of Kediri, the change of public services from a manual system to an online service system. The existence of E-Suket as an innovation of the City Government of Kediri has not been able to overcome the existing problems, the problem is in the human resources sector in the field of informatics engineering for application administration in each village, the need for improvement and supervision of the system by the City Government of Kediri in order to provide the citizens of the City of Kediri smooth access in submitting applications application for letter through E-Suket.

Abstract

This research aims to look at the supervision carried out by the Malang City DPRD in the handling of the COVID-19 pandemic in the Malang City Government. DPRD supervision is carried out to ensure the implementation of the policies and plans that have been set, and the objectives of handling COVID-19 can be achieved effectively and efficiently. The use of surveillance theory became particularly appropriate in this study. This research method uses qualitative descriptive methods. The data sources obtained are primary data and secondary data. Primary data is obtained from interview results, while secondary data is obtained from literature studies, laws, and other important documents. This research concluded that supervision by the DPRD is needed to control the performance of local governments in handling COVID-19, especially when the handling of COVID-19 is not yet maximal. The views and recommendations of the DPRD are needed to be in harmony with the expectations of people who want the pandemic problem to be quickly resolved.

Abstract

Technology has helped make it easier for people to connect without meeting in person. Social media makes it easier for humans to interact without the need to meet in person. Information that is spread via social media can also apply quickly. This study aims to determine prospective candidates' popularity through social media as a campaign stage for the 2019 General Election. The research method used is descriptive, with a qualitative approach. This study's data sources are primary and secondary. Data collection techniques used are observation, documentation, and literature study. The data analysis technique used is a qualitative descriptive analysis model. The research findings show that social media helps prospective candidates use it as a campaign tool. In addition, social media, as prospective candidates, use a platform to increase their popularity by sharing activity posts featuring promotions or career paths from prospective candidates through their social media. This influence has a good impact on society. Young people, in particular, seem to be drawn to politics via social media.

Abstract

Kepuasan pasien adalah metrik kinerja utama dalam industri layanan kesehatan. Yang menentukan puas atau tidaknya seorang pasien terhadap pelayanan yang diterimanya di suatu fasilitas kesehatan adalah umpan balik yang mereka berikan mengenai kinerja fasilitas tersebut. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui persepsi pasien BPJS terhadap kualitas pelayanan yang diterimanya di bagian pendaftaran Rawat Jalan Rumah Sakit Umum Universitas Kristen Indonesia. Penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif dan kuesioner sebagai alat pengumpulan data. Partisipan penelitian berjumlah 96 orang. Skor Ideal (Kriteria) digunakan untuk mengevaluasi kualitas 5 aspek berbeda dari layanan pendaftaran rawat jalan: kepuasan pasien padaTampilan fisik (Tangibles) sebesar 82,2%, Keandalan (reliability) 89,9%, Ketanggapan (responsiveness) 90,5%, Jaminan (assurance) 90,1% dan Empati (empathy) 90,9%. Dari ke lima dimensi mutu bahwa presentase tingkat kepuasan sebagian besar sudah berada diatas standar pelayanan Rumah Sakit. Adapun tingkat ketidakpuasan pasien terbesar terdapat pada banyaknya pasien yang mengeluhkan fasilitas yang ada diruang tunggu pendaftaran sebesar 28,1% dan lamanya waktu tunggu dibagian pendaftaran sebesar 22,9%. Abstract

Berbagai dampak signifikan terhadap kehidupan manusia terjadi akibat perkembangan teknologi dan informasi. Masyarakat saat ini semakin terhubung dalam jaringan digital yang kompleks, menghasilkan arus informasi yang cepat dan luas. Bagi masyarakat pedesaan digitalisasi tek seringkali melahirkan gagap teknologi.  Tujuan kegiatan pkM ini adalah meningkatkan kecakapan digital masyarakat Desa Cikedokan melalui kegiatan literasi digital karena kecakapan digital menjadi kunci utama dalam mempersiapkan masyarakat untuk menghadapi era globalisasi. Metode literasi digital yang digunakan adalah pendekatan individual dan seminar literasi digital. Melalui kegiatan literasi digital masyarakat Desa Cikedokan lebih dikenalkan dengan dasar-dasar digital dan pemanfaatan gadget, pembuatan email untuk berbagai keperluan, pengenalan aplikasi untuk pembelajaran digital, pemahaman tentang keamanan digital hingga pemahaman tentang etika di Media Sosial.

Abstract

The research is aimed at identifying the current electoral fraud that, in this study, is believed to disrupt the stability of the most democratic states from 2019 to 2024. The research method used in this study is a systematic literature review based on the use of 269 scientific articles sourced from the Scopus database that have been organized and restricted according to the context of related topics. The article review process was carried out using the Vosviewer application. Of the 269 scientific articles on electoral fraud that have been processed, it was revealed that from 2019 to 2024, there has been a decline in the interest in research on electoral fraud, which can be proved by the number of articles that are less stable in the scopus database. The results of this research have contributed to the development of political science that specifically deals with various electoral fraud practices. The research has the limitation that the data analyzed only comes from the Scopus database, so the findings of this study cannot comprehensively describe electoral fraud studies around the world. Further research needs to be balanced with the use of scientific articles, which are not only sourced through the Scopus database but also from internationally renowned databases such as the Web of Science and Dimensions Scholars.

Abstract

This study aims to investigate the decline of Islamic parties in post-Suharto Indonesia and its correlation with changes in the electoral system. Using a mixed method, data on the post-Suharto election was analyzed quantitatively using the Pedersen formula, supplemented with a qualitative review of scholarly sources, such as journals, books, and proceedings. The results showed that the changing electoral system triggered dynamics in the party system, leading to a decline in the number of votes for incumbent parties, particularly Islamic parties. This decline led to electoral volatility, where voters were more willing to switch their support from one party to another. Moreover, the decline of Islamic partiess’ electoral performance prevailed, as they could not reclaim their positions. This study offers insight into the workings of political party systems in developing democracies, showing how modifications to the electoral process can influence the political environment. These results add to the growing body of knowledge on party systems and electoral politics, not only in Indonesia but also in comparable contexts around the globe.

Abstract

This research is motivated by an analysis of business networks, marketing and production in the business world which creates very tight competition. To respond to this, the author conducted business network analysis research, marketing and production carried out by the UMKM Roll Cake "On a Roll". The objectives that must be achieved in this research include: (1) to find out what products are produced by Roll Cake "On a Roll" (2) To find out which business networks are suitable for Roll Cake "On a Roll" products, (3 ) to find out the production process of Roll Cake "On a Roll", (4) to find out how the marketing process of Roll Cake "On a Roll", (5) to find out the financial reports of the Roll Cake "On a Roll" business. This research was conducted directly with the founder of Roll Cake "On a Roll". This research looks for business networks, marketing processes and production processes carried out by Roll Cake "On a Roll" entrepreneurs to make decisions regarding the development carried out from the product being marketed to the hands of consumers. This research uses qualitative methods, namely interviewing Roll Cake "On a Roll" entrepreneurs regarding business networks, marketing, production, sales and financial reports carried out to gain profits.

Abstract

Desa Mojorejo Kecamatan Pendem Kota Batu merupakan salah satu desa yang masyarakatnya sebagian besar belum memiliki kesadaran politik yang kritis. Hal ini terlihat dari apatisme yang tinggi pada isu-isu politik termasuk soal pemilu 2024. Dalam hal alasan memilih masyarakat juga belum menggunakan pendekatan rasional dan kritis sehingga sulit menghasilkan kepemimpinan politik yang berkualitas. Karena itu Pelatihan mengenai pendidikan politik menjadi penting untuk dilakukan dalam bentuk pengabdian. Pengabdian ini bertujuan memberikan pendidikan politik kepada Karang Taruna Desa Mojorejo agar nantinya bisa menjadi kelompok yang dapat membantu masyarakat di desa Mojorejo memiliki kesadaran dan partisipasi politik yang tinggi dan berkualitas. Hasilnya pengabdian ini mampu meningkatkan pemahaman dan kesadaran untuk pentingnya partisipasi politik yang berkualitas bagi masyarakat khusunya dalam menghadapi momen pemilu 2024. Dengan memahami manfaat partisipasi politik yang kritis muncul kesadaran bagi Karang Taruna Desa Mojorejo untuk bertindak sebagai salah satu agen dalam penyadaran politik di tengah masyarakat desa.

Abstract

This article highlights the strategies employed by the General Election Commission (KPU) to address the issue of double data that emerged during the registration process of the 2024 General Election participants in Mojokerto City. This issue stems from the ineffectiveness of the Political Party Information System (SIPOL), evidenced by thousands of double data on party membership. Double data issues can pose a severe threat to the integrity of democratic elections. Hence, this research focuses on the KPU's efforts or strategies to maintain the accuracy and reliability of data. The formulation of these strategies prioritizes the implementation of the Electoral Governance Theory, with the primary focus on analyzing and finding solutions to existing issues. This research applied a qualitative approach with a case study model. Data was collected through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. The results of this research indicate that based on Decree No. 260 of 2022, KPU has conducted Administrative Verification to identify potential cases of dual memberships and ineligible memberships. This process involves four main stages, including registration, administrative verification, factual verification, and determination. This research also aims to discover the issues faced by the General Election Commission (KPU) of Mojokerto City during the verification process.
