Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menghasilkan indikator 4C’s yang selaras dengan kurikulum SMA/MA yang digunakan di Indonesia yaitu kurikulum 2013 pada mata pelajaran matematika SMA kelas X semester 1 yang terdiri dari 3 bab yaitu: sistem persamaan dan pertidaksamaan linier satu variabel yang memuat nilai mutlak, SPLTV, dan fungsi. Kegiatan penelitian dimulai dari analisis masalah kurikulum di Indonesia dan menganalisis literatur kemampuan 4C’s menurut Partnership 21th Century Learning (P21). Kegiatan selanjutnya adalah merancang Indikator 4C,s yang selaras dengan kurikulum 2013 pada mata pelajaran matematika SMA/MA kelas X semester 1. Produk yang dihasilkan yaitu Indikator 4C’s yang selaras dengan kurikulum 2013 disajikan dalam vorum diskusi (kolokium). Kemudian produk tersebut direvisi berdasarkan saran dari peserta kolokium. Kegiatan terakhir yaitu membagikan produk yang valid kepada peserta kolokium sebagai panduan penyusunan rencana pembelajaran. Penelitian ini menghasilkan indikator 4C’s yang selaras dengan kurikulum di Indonesia yaitu kurikulum 2013.

Abstract

Creative thinking capability is a capability to deliver a new idea by varied means in solving problem. This research aims to describe creative thinking capability in solving square and rectangle problem reviewed by van Hiele’s thinking level of 4th grade students of SDN Kejayan 1 Bondowoso. This research type is descriptive research with qualitative approach. Data collecting method using test and interview. The used test is van Hiele’s geometry thinking test and creative thinking capability test related to square and rectangle. Research output shows that student at pre-visualization phase has less creative and sufficient creative thinking capability. Student at visualization phase, has sufficient creative and less creative thinking capability. Student at analysis level has sufficient creative thinking capability.

Abstract

Abstract. The purpose of this study is to explore ethnomatematics in the activities of cocoa farmers to create the teaching materials for students in the form of the packages of test. The type of research was qualitative research with ethnographic approaches. The data collection method used were observation and interview. The research subjects were six people. The ethnomatematics included the activity of counting, measuring, and designing. This study focused on determining the estimated number of trees based on its distance and area by using stakes (patok), determining the fertilization model based on the fertilization time and the planting age, determining the number of workers based on the land area, and estimating yields. Abstract

Abstract: A culture is born from the local community so as to produce works that become the characteristic of the culture. This culture is rooted and develops over time. One result of cultural work is Banyuwangi solok weaving. Education appreciates local culture in order to participate in preserving through the teaching and learning process. Weaving Solok Banyuwangi can be included as a medium for student learning in schools. Mathematics is one branch of science that studies symbols with logical reasoning. So there are estimates of the mathematical elements found in the Banyuwangi solok weaving motif. Mathematical elements found in Banyuwangi solok weaving include points, lines, triangles, quadrilaterals, hexagon, folding symmetry, rotary symmetry, congruence and similarity. Abstract

In an accuracy required to solve problems. One way to help students achieve the accuracy that is by directing students on analytical anticipation. The purpose of this study was to look at the characteristics of analytic anticipation of students in solving integrals. This study, data were collected by the method of tests and interviews. Test form about the area polynomial of degree two. Interviews were conducted to class XII student who has received the integral material. Results of this study are (1) the students read about the more than 1 times, (2) students find things that are known and things that asked, (3) students to describe matter in detail, (4) students combine kritria-criteria which are known in the matter, (5) students can find the link between things that are asked and things are known, (6) the students do the problems carefully, and (7) the students consider other alternative answers.

Abstract

Abstract: The purpose of this study is to describe the profile of algebraic thinking in junior high school students in solving mathematical problems in terms of cognitive style (reflective and impulsive). The subjects used were class VIII B Arjasa 1 Junior High School as many as 25 children. Data collection in this study used two test questions, namely the MFFT test (Matching Familiar Figure Test), algebra test and interviews with four students representing different cognitive styles (reflective and impulsive) . In this study students who have reflective cognitive style and students who have impulsive cognitive style can fulfill five indicators of algebraic thinking, namely generalization, abstraction, analytical thinking, dynamic thinking, and modeling. Abstract

Abstract: The ability of mathematical representation is very important to solve mathematical problems, because every solution must use mathematical representation. This research was conducted at Thailand's Streesmutprakan School because according to the results of the 2015 PISA test, mathematical representation skills also affected the execution of the PISA test. The PISA test results in 2015 showed that the Mathematics ability of Thai students was ranked 54th out of 70 countries with an average score of 415. While the average score for Mathematics from all countries taking the PISA test was 490. The results showed that Thailand was still in in a position below the average. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative, by giving PISA questions about shape and space content. The results of this study indicate that students with high abilities are superior in visual mathematical representation. This can be seen from the number of cube nets that can be drawn with different models. The indicator of mathematical expression is only one of six students who can meet the indicator and answer correctly. For indicators of the ability to represent in words or written texts, students with high abilities are also more prominent because they have a reason for each answer, whereas for students with medium and low abilities only guess even silence during interviews. Abstract

Abstract.Ethnomatematics is the practice or daily activities of a society that has become a culture and there is the application of basic mathematical concepts. The purpose of this research is to describe ethnomatematics on the activities of hatching process of semi-natural green turtle eggs in Sukamade, Meru Betiri National Park to make teaching materials for students in the form of test questions and calculate the fractal dimensions on sand used for hatching the eggs of green turtle. This type of research is qualitative research with an ethnographic approach. The data collection methods used are observation and interviews. The research subjects were the UPKP (Turtle Conservation Management Unit), MMP (Gamekeeper Partner Community) and Facilitators. This study focuses on the activities to calculate, measure, and design. The mathematical concepts that arise are arithmetic operations, value comparisons, arithmetic series and geometric shapes. Fractal dimension calculations on natural and semi-natural sand in the process of hatching green turtle eggs with MATLAB aid program obtained the fractal dimensions on natural sand was 1.7252 and on semi-natural sand was 1.7273. Abstract

Profil pemecahan masalah merupakan gambaran secara umum mengenai kegiatan memecahkan masalah matematika yang dilakukan oleh siswa dengan menggunakan lima tahapan pemecahan masalah model IDEAL, yaitu mengidentifikasi masalah, mendefinisikan masalah, mencari solusi, melaksanakan strategi, dan mengkaji kembali serta mengevaluasi pengaruhnya. Hal tersebut menjadi menarik ketika dikaitkan dengan kemampuan matematika. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan profil siswa berkemampuan matematika tinggi dalam memecahkan soal cerita pokok bahasan Aritmatika Sosial. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif. Siswa berkemampuan matematika tinggi diberi dua soal tes pemecahan masalah, kemudian dilakukan wawancara untuk mengetahui lebih dalam proses dalam memecahkannya. Hasil yang diperoleh adalah siswa berkemampuan matematika tinggi mampu memenuhi semua indikator dari setiap tahap pemecahan model IDEAL. Hal ini terlihat dari hasil pekerjaan yang diberikan dan wawancara yang dilakukan oleh peneliti terhadap siswa tersebut.
