Abstract

This research is motivated by the importance that students have the ability to anticipate. The anticipation skill is needed by students to complete fractal batik designs (Sierpinsky) by using maple so that the resulting ideas matches the original expected ideas. The purpose of this research is to enable students to use maple to design Sierpinsky square batik. Data in this research were collected by tests, interviews and observations. The results showed that students frequently used analytical and exponential anticipation skills. Keywords: Analytic Anticipation, Exploratory Anticipation, Sierpinsky, Sierpinsky Batik.

Abstract

AbstrakTujuan. penelitian. ini yaitu untuk mengembangkan perangkat pembelajaran matematika berbasis. hybrid-caring community yang valid, praktis. dan efektif. yang terdiri dari rencana pelaksanaan pembelajaran (RPP), lembar kerja. peserta didik. (LKPD) dan tes. hasil belajar. (THB) dan menguji.dampaknya terhadap kemampuan koneksi matematika pada materi sistem persamaan linier dua variabel (SPLDV). Metode penelitian ini menggunakan.  metode penelitian. pengembangan (R&D) dilanjutkan. penelitian. eksperimen. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan observasi aktivitas siswa, angket respon siswa dan tes hasil belajar untuk mengetahui kemampuan koneksi matematika siswa. Hasilvalidasi RPP, LKPD, dan THB memenuhi kriteria valid. Kepraktisan perangkat dibuktikan dari hasil observasi pelaksanaan perangkat. pembelajaran kategori. “sangat. praktis” dengan persentase.  96%. Kriteria. Keefektifan. perangkat. pembelajaran. dilihat. dari skor lembar observasi. aktivitas peserta. didik, angket respon peserta didik, dan ketuntasan. THB. yang memenuhi kriteria efektif. Berdasarkan t-test pada penelitian eksperimen, dihasilkan perangkat pembelajaran matematika berbasis hybrid-caring community materi SPLDV memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap kemampuan. koneksi. matematika. AbstractThe purpose of this research is to develop valid, practical and effective hybrid-caring community-based mathematics learning tools consisting of learning implementation. plans, student worksheets and learning achievement tests. and test their impact on connection ability. mathematics on the material system. of two-variable. linear equations. Data collection techniques in this study used observation of student activities, student response questionnaires and learning achievement tests to determine students' mathematical connection abilities. The practicality of the device is proven from the results of observing the implementation of the learning device in the "very practical" category with a percentage of 96%. The criteria for the effectiveness of the learning device can be seen from the score of the student activity observation sheet, the student response questionnaire, and the completeness of the learning achievement tests. which meets the criteria for being effective. Abstract

Carrying out teaching and learning activities is not valid if it is not equipped with learning tools. This made the Minister of Education, Culture, Research and Technology, Mr. Nadim Makarim, simplify the existing learning tools with one sheet of lesson plans. However, even though the name is 1 sheet, many teachers still feel doubtful and uncertain about whether there is really only 1 sheet. This is a problem for teachers at SMK Plus Al Mujahidi Gumukmas Jember. The school principal, through the head of the curriculum, invited the team to this activity. The methods used lecture, question and answer, discussion and practice. The results obtained from this activity are the teachers' understanding of how the 1 sheet RPP, LKPD, assessment and scoring rubric work. The practice carried out in this activity refers to one-on-one mentoring between the teacher and the service team

The program This education mentoring program is an ongoing effort in which different stakeholders work together to achieve the goal of better education for the community. for the Community The school curriculum based on the project of strengthening the profile of pencasila learners (P5) has been implemented in the aftermath of the pandemic. It is necessary to provide assistance in making tools to prospective teachers. Abstract

Berpikir kritis memiliki peranan krusial pada potensi memecahkan persoalan sampai penarikan kesimpulan. Proses berpikir peserta didik dipengaruhi oleh tipe kepribadian yang berbeda. Oleh karena itu, tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis tingkat berpikir kritis siswa dalam menyelesaikan masalah persamaan lingkaran ditinjau dari kepribadian DISC. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Subjek penelitian ini adalah 4 siswa dari masing-masing tipe kepribadian. Berdasarkan penelitian yang telah dilakukan hanya tipe kepribadian Steadiness dan Compliance yang memiliki kemampuan berpikir kritis sedangkan tipe kepribadian Dominance dan Influence tidak.

Abstract

Rutinitas cara berpikir siswa saat menangani permasalahan persegi menjadi data utama dalam penelitian kualitatif ini. Siswa kelas VIII SMPN 8 Probolinggo berpartisipasi dalam penelitian ini. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan proses berpikir siswa kelas VIII SMPN 8 Probolinggo ditinjau dari gaya kognitif field dependent dan field independent dalam penerapannya pada penyelesaian permasalahan persegi. Studi ini menyoroti pentingnya kebiasaan berpikir seperti ketekunan, refleksi pada pemikiran sendiri, fleksibilitas pikiran, dan ketepatan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif. Tes dan wawancara dapat digunakan sebagai alat pengumpulan data. Pada tahap persisting, siswa dengan tipe kognitif field dependent dan field independent dapat menilai dengan baik informasi apa yang ada dalam masalah, yang mendukung temuan penelitian. Siswa dengan tipe kognitif yang bergantung pada lingkungan atau field dependent dan tidak bergantung pada lingkungan atau field independent dapat dengan benar menghitung solusi untuk masalah persegi dalam fase "berpikir tentang berpikir" dan "berpikir fleksibel". Siswa dengan gaya kognitif field independent mampu menarik kesimpulan untuk memecahkan masalah, memeriksa kembali pekerjaannya, dan memberikan bukti pendukung bahwa jawabannya benar pada tahap mengupayakan keakuratan proses pembelajaran, sedangkan siswa dengan gaya kognitif field dependent tidak dapat melakukan hal-hal ini.

Abstract

Abstract.The process of thinking is mental activity that experiences disequlibrium, assimilation, accommodation or equilibrium to define, determine decisions and draw conclusions on a geometric problem. The purpose of the study was to determine the thinking process of quadruple cerebral palsy students to define geometric space. This research is a type of descriptive research through a qualitative approach. Data collection methods used are worksheets and interviews. The subject of the study was carried out to 2 students with cerebral palsy who were sitting in class VIII of the Extraordinary Daksa Middle School of the Disabled Children (SMPLB-D YPAC) Kaliwates-Jember. The results showed that both subjects experienced disequilibrium on topic I students' initial knowledge of geometrical space (prisms, beams and cubes), and assimilation on topic II related to similar examples of geometrical space (prisms, beams and cubes), before finally accommodation when paused before answering correctly the questions from the researcher and before retelling the answers that have been written when answering the questions on topic III which is the core of this research, that is knowing the thinking process of students tundaksa cerebral palsy in defining geometric space constructs (beam prisms and cubes). Abstract

The purpose of the research are to describe the types of students’ errors based on Watson's criteria assessed from their mathematical ability and gender, and examine the causes of students’ errors. This type of research is descriptive with a qualitative approach. Data collection methods used are observation and interviews. The subjects of the study were 6 students consisting of 3 male students and 3 female students of class VIIIB of SMP 4 Jember which each students represented a high, medium, and low level of mathematics ability. Based on the results obtained, many students experience errors when working on the Two Variable Linear Equation System problem, both for male and female students at the level of high, medium, and low mathematical abilities. Abstract

Abstract. The purpose of this study was to explore ethnomatematics on Bayat pottery, production of Bayat Pottery and produce student teaching materials in the form of test packages. This research is qualitative research with ethnographic approaches. The methods of data collection used are observation and interview. 3 people were chosen as research subjects. The ethnomatematics include counting activities, numerical activities, and measuring activities. This study focused on determining the amount of base material for making mixtures or lempung, determining the size of the pottery, determining the ratio of the diameter of the base and lid, determining the shape. Mathematical concepts that emerge are the concept of direct proportion, number sequence, similarity, congruence, and space. Keywords: ethnomatematics, bayat pottery, teaching materials.

Abstract

Geometry is one of the material in mathematics that is studied by students. In measuring students' geometry abilities, one of the efforts can use van Hiele's theory. This research is a descriptive study with the subject of the research is grade IX D students of SMP Negeri 2 Jember. The purpose of this study is to describe the characteristics ofthinking geometry students'at the level of visualization, analysis, and informal deduction. Research subjects were 5 students with 2 students at the visualization level, 2 students at the analysis level, and 1 student at the level informal deduction. The results of this study indicate that (1) Visualization subjects can identify, classify, compare and determine the types ofshapes quadrilateralbased on their visual appearance and can draw with labeling simple. (2) The subject of analysis can identify, analyze, classify, define and compare quadrilateral shapes according to the relationship between their properties. (3) The subject of informal deduction can define and compareshapes quadrilateralby looking at the relationship between quadrilateral shapes
