Abstract

The study focuses on analyzing business strategies to enhance sales in 24-hour coffee shops (warkop24h) in Indonesia, considering their unique challenges and opportunities. Conducted through supportive activities in Karangasih Village, Bekasi, the research employs various methodologies including surveys, discussions, and practical tutorials aimed at providing comprehensive reviews and innovative strategies. Key findings indicate that these coffee shops need to improve promotional efforts and address supply chain issues, particularly with essential ingredients like ice, to bolster customer satisfaction. By developing unique menu offerings and leveraging digital marketing, these businesses can capture the attention of the younger demographic, particularly Gen Z, who view warkop as social and creative spaces. The study concludes that implementing strategic adaptations in response to market trends and customer preferences can significantly bolster the viability and growth of coffee shop businesses in competitive environments. This research highlights the critical role of micro, small, and medium enterprises (UMKM) in contributing to the broader economic framework of Indonesia.

Abstract

The potential for halal tourism in Indonesia is considered to continue to grow, supported by the increasing needs of the Muslim community, both men and women, who can now be considered as one unit. This also indicates an increase in recognition and acceptance of Islamic socio-cultural practices, both in Indonesia and globally, which shows that Muslims are starting to receive attention in developed countries. Of course, this development aims to produce a multiplier effect, one of which is strengthening the economy. Optimizing waqf funds for halal tourism can be a solution to stimulate the Indonesian economy. This research aims to determine the extent to which waqf funds can develop in Indonesia. The method used in this research is a qualitative method by carrying out FGDs with experts in the field of waqf initiated by Wacid. The research results show that the potential for waqf funds in Indonesia can still be developed, but this is only limited by the knowledge of the Indonesian population about waqf itself, so in-depth socialization is needed to support literacy about waqf in Indonesia.

Abstract

Entrepreneurship is a strategic issue in community service due to its role in reducing unemployment and promoting innovation-driven economic growth. Universitas Islam Bandung, through the Management Study Program, implemented the Entrepreneurship Development Program (PPK) to address students’ low entrepreneurial interest and readiness. Designed with a participatory and collaborative approach, the program involved students actively in recruitment, training, and intensive business mentoring. A distinctive feature of this program was the integration of artificial intelligence (AI) as a supporting tool. Applications such as ChatGPT and Bard were used for market research and business idea validation, while Canva, Pictory.ai, and Gamma.app supported digital content creation to enhance branding and customer engagement. The program achieved notable results: all participating tenants successfully obtained business legality (NIB and certification), produced intellectual property-protected products, and published scientific articles with media exposure. The initiative was further strengthened by collaboration with HIPMI PT, contributing to the development of a campus-based entrepreneurial ecosystem. These outcomes demonstrate that a practice-based approach combined with continuous mentoring is effective in improving students’ entrepreneurial motivation, readiness, and intention, while also supporting the achievement of key performance indicators at the university level.

The main data used in this research comes from interviews and data collection methods for 100 respondents using Accidental Sampling in the millennial population of the Bekasi area.
