Abstract

Latar belakang penelitian ini berangkat dari tantangan pendidikan karakter di era modern yang semakin kompleks, di mana peran guru sebagai pembina dan desain program sekolah menjadi faktor penting. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis sinergi antara pembinaan guru dan penerapan model full day school dalam pembentukan karakter siswa di SMA Negeri 1 Sidomulyo. Jenis penelitian ini adalah kualitatif dengan desain studi kasus. Data primer diperoleh melalui wawancara dengan guru, kepala sekolah, dan siswa, serta observasi kegiatan di kelas maupun lingkungan sekolah. Data sekunder didapatkan dari dokumen sekolah, pedoman kurikulum, dan literatur terkait. Teknik analisis data meliputi reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Untuk menjaga keabsahan data digunakan triangulasi sumber dan teknik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pembinaan guru di SMA Negeri 1 Sidomulyo dilakukan melalui pelatihan berkelanjutan, pendampingan, serta kolaborasi antarguru. Penerapan full day school memberikan lingkungan belajar yang lebih panjang sehingga tidak hanya mendukung aspek kognitif, tetapi juga penguatan moral dan sosial siswa. Sinergi antara pembinaan guru dan full day school terbukti berpengaruh signifikan dalam meningkatkan karakter siswa, terutama dalam hal tanggung jawab, kedisiplinan, kerja sama, dan religiusitas. Kesimpulan penelitian ini menegaskan bahwa pembinaan guru dan penerapan full day school dapat menjadi strategi efektif dalam membentuk karakter siswa. Meski demikian, tantangan seperti beban kerja guru, kejenuhan siswa, dan keterlibatan orang tua perlu diatasi agar hasil yang dicapai lebih optimal.

Abstract

Implementasi Penguatan keberagaman di pesantren masih sering bersifat parsial dan belum terintegrasi dengan karakteristik lembaga. Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan strategi penguatan moderasi beragama di Pondok Modern Darussalam Gontor kampus 7 Lampung. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif. Kemudian Teknik pengambilan data melalui wawancara mendalam, observasi partisipatif, dan studi dokumentasi terhadap pengurus pondok, ustaz, dan santri. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa strategi penguatan moderasi Bergama di Gontor kampus 7 diimplementasikan secara holistik melalui empat strategi utama: kurikulum terpadu yang mengenalkan keragaman mazhab, kegiatan kultural yang membentuk sikap moderat, pembiasaan hidup bersama di asrama yang menumbuhkan toleransi, serta relasi sosial yang akomodatif terhadap budaya lokal. Temuan ini menegaskan bahwa moderasi beragama di pesantren modern memerlukan pendekatan kontekstual dan integratif dalam membentuk santri yang toleran, terbuka, dan berkarakter moderat.

Abstract

Educational institutions are increasingly required to strengthen quality, innovation, accountability, and competitiveness in response to policy changes, technological transformation, and growing public expectations. This study aims to analyze and synthesize recent empirical findings on educational strategic management in improving the quality and competitiveness of educational institutions. An integrative literature review was employed by examining peer-reviewed empirical articles published between 2024 and 2026. The selection process began with 86 identified articles, followed by year-based screening, duplicate removal, title and abstract screening, methodological eligibility assessment, and journal indexing verification, resulting in seven final articles that met the inclusion criteria. The analysis was conducted through thematic synthesis by extracting key information related to research focus, institutional context, method, major findings, contribution to quality improvement, and contribution to institutional competitiveness. The findings reveal that educational strategic management contributes to institutional quality and competitiveness through several interconnected dimensions, namely strategic planning, quality culture, principal leadership, human resource management, school-based management, digital transformation, institutional differentiation, accreditation, and continuous evaluation. The synthesis indicates that educational quality is not merely determined by administrative compliance or academic outcomes, but by the institution’s capacity to build sustainable quality culture, professional teacher performance, adaptive governance, innovation, and public accountability. Institutional competitiveness is also shaped by the ability to create distinctive, relevant, and sustainable educational value. The implication of this study is that school leaders, education managers, foundations, supervisors, and policymakers need to design strategic management practices that are integrated, data-informed, participatory, adaptive, and oriented toward continuous quality improvement.

Abstract

This study aims to synthesize the literature on data-driven strategic management and digital transformation in improving educational quality. This review is important because educational institutions are increasingly required to make evidence-based decisions, integrate information systems, and transform data into impactful improvement strategies. The method employed was a Systematic Literature Review by adapting PRISMA 2020 and PRISMA-S. The literature search was conducted through Scopus, Web of Science, ERIC, DOAJ, Crossref, Google Scholar, Garuda/SINTA, and official Indonesian policy sources using keywords related to data-driven decision making, data-based planning, strategic educational management, digital transformation, Rapor Pendidikan, and educational quality. From 773 initial records, 153 duplicates were removed, 620 documents were screened, 144 full-text documents were assessed for eligibility, and 35 core documents were thematically analyzed. The findings indicate that data-driven educational quality improvement requires the integration of quality diagnosis, data interpretation, strategy formulation, digital program implementation, impact evaluation, and continuous correction. Key enabling factors include digital leadership, teachers’ data literacy, collaborative culture, data validity, technological infrastructure, and policy support. The main barriers include administrative orientation, fragmentation of information systems, gaps in analytical capacity, organizational resistance, and data ethics risks. This review proposes the SIGAP-DIGITAL model as a conceptual contribution to evidence-based educational quality governance.

Abstract

Global uncertainty driven by digital disruption, artificial intelligence, ecological risk, social polarization, and shifting skills demand requires schools to move beyond routine annual planning toward anticipatory and future-oriented management. This systematic literature review synthesizes studies on strategic foresight in educational management for building future-ready schools. The review covers publications from 2015 to 2025 and adapts PRISMA 2020 and PRISMA-S principles. Searches were conducted across Scopus, Web of Science Core Collection, ERIC, Google Scholar, and complementary policy sources from OECD and UNESCO. From 1,240 initial records, 286 duplicates and 24 non-target records were removed before screening. After title-abstract screening, full-text eligibility assessment, and quality appraisal, 42 documents were included in the qualitative thematic synthesis. The findings show that strategic foresight in educational management is constructed as an anticipatory capacity rather than a linear prediction mechanism. Key practices include horizon scanning, weak signal analysis, scenario planning, strategy stress-testing, future visioning, professional learning, and adaptive governance. The publication trend indicates two major waves: a foundational phase in 2015 and a policy consolidation phase in 2025. The review proposes the FORESIGHT-SCHOOL model as a conceptual framework for integrating foresight into school planning, implementation, evaluation, and organizational learning. The study contributes to strategic educational management by positioning foresight as a core capability for building adaptive, resilient, and future-ready schools.

Abstract

This study examines the role of transformational leadership in improving educational quality, with particular emphasis on teacher motivation and commitment in Islamic educational institutions. The research employs a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) following PRISMA guidelines to analyze 28 peer-reviewed journal articles published within the last ten years. The selection process was based on relevance to transformational leadership, educational quality, and Islamic educational contexts. The analysis focuses on four core dimensions of transformational leadership: idealized influence, inspirational motivation, intellectual stimulation, and individualized consideration. The findings reveal that these dimensions consistently contribute to increased teacher engagement, stronger organizational commitment, improved professional development, and a more positive school climate, all of which are critical indicators of educational quality. The study also highlights that integrating transformational leadership practices with Islamic educational values strengthens institutional identity while responding to contemporary educational challenges. This research contributes by synthesizing recent scholarship into a structured conceptual understanding of how transformational leadership supports educational reform in Islamic institutions. It further recommends the development of targeted leadership training programs to enhance strategic leadership capacity and sustain long-term educational improvement.

Abstract

This study is motivated by the increasing moral degradation among children and adolescents in the digital age, which calls for the strengthening of religious character education within the family environment. The family, as the primary educational environment, plays a strategic role in shaping children’s values, attitudes, and behaviors through appropriate parenting practices. This study aims to examine the role of Islamic parenting in the formation of children’s religious character from an Islamic educational perspective. The method used is a qualitative approach employing library research, with data sources consisting of relevant books and scientific journal articles. Data collection was conducted through documentation, while data analysis utilized descriptive analysis and content analysis through the stages of data reduction, classification, and interpretation. The results of the study indicate that the formation of children’s religious character in Islamic parenting is carried out through four main components: instilling tauhid, parental role modeling, fostering the habit of worship, and moral education. These four aspects are mutually integrated in shaping children’s internal religious awareness. However, their implementation faces challenges such as parents’ time constraints, weak parental role modeling, and the influence of digital technology. Thus, consistent Islamic parenting based on role modeling significantly contributes to shaping a strong and sustainable religious character in children. ABSTRAK Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh meningkatnya degradasi moral pada anak dan remaja di era digital, sehingga menuntut penguatan pendidikan karakter religius dalam lingkungan keluarga. Keluarga sebagai lingkungan pendidikan pertama memiliki peran strategis dalam membentuk nilai, sikap, dan perilaku anak melalui pola pengasuhan yang tepat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji peran Islamic parenting dalam pembentukan karakter religius anak dalam perspektif pendidikan Islam. Metode yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian studi kepustakaan (library research), dengan sumber data berupa buku dan artikel jurnal ilmiah yang relevan. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui dokumentasi, sedangkan analisis data menggunakan analisis deskriptif dan analisis isi melalui tahapan reduksi, klasifikasi, dan interpretasi data. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pembentukan karakter religius anak dalam Islamic parenting dilakukan melalui empat komponen utama, yaitu penanaman tauhid, keteladanan orang tua, pembiasaan ibadah, dan pendidikan akhlak. Keempat aspek tersebut saling terintegrasi dalam membentuk kesadaran religius anak secara internal. Namun, implementasinya menghadapi tantangan berupa keterbatasan waktu orang tua, lemahnya keteladanan, serta pengaruh teknologi digital. Dengan demikian, Islamic parenting yang konsisten dan berbasis keteladanan berkontribusi signifikan dalam membentuk karakter religius anak yang kuat dan berkelanjutan.
