Abstract

This study aims to analyze students' environmental care character and the obstacles faced by the Adiwiyata school. This study employed the descriptive qualitative method with the case study approach. The researchers analyzed the students' environmental care character with the Adiwiyata program, specifically SMAN 1 Dukuntang. In the aspect of classroom hygiene management, the school was in the very good category. Next, in the environmental education management aspect, the school was also in the very good category. The school also foster students' creativity through the DLS program by creating environmentally friendly products with economic value. The obstacle faced by the Adiwiyata school in shaping the students'  environmental care character was the need for free time for students to participate in environmental activities outside of school during the implementation of the SBL program.

Abstract

The purposes of this research were examining students' self-efficacy in pollution and environmental change learning; assessing the level of students' environmental literacy in pollution and environmental change learning, and analyzing the relationship between self-efficacy and environmental literacy in pollution and environmental change learning. The sample was determined using the purposive sampling technique. This research was a descriptive quantitative research with a single paradigm correlation design. The data collection techniques used were tests, questionnaires, and documentation. The results showed that students’ self-efficacy was in the strong category with an average score of 73; students’ environmental literacy was in the moderate category with an average score of 60. 2. The correlational value between self-efficacy and environmental literacy was 0.572 in the moderate category. The correlational value of the two variables was in a positive direction. Good self-efficacy tends to produce good environmental literacy.

Abstract

This research aimed to describe students’ activities, the improvement differences of students' critical thinking skills, and explain students' responses toward the internalization of religious values using the Argument-Driven Inquiry model on reproductive system material at eleventh-grade students of MAN 1 Kuningan. The method used in this research was the quantitative method with the experimental pretest-posttest control group design. This research population was all eleventh-grade students of MAN 1 Kuningan, which consisted of eight classes, five science classes, and three social studies classes. The research sample was taken using a random sampling technique. This research sample was class XI IPA 1 as the experimental class (35 students) and XI IPA 3 as the control class (34 students). The data collection techniques employed were observation, tests, and questionnaires. The data was analyzed using SPSS v.25 software. The results obtained showed that the highest learning activity was at the data collection stage. There was an improvement in students’ critical thinking skills in the experimental class and the control class. The average N-Gain of the experimental class was 0.69, and the control class was 0.33. The sig statistical test results were 0.000 <0.655, meaning that H0 was rejected and Ha was accepted. Thus, there was a significant improvement in students' critical thinking skills between the experimental and control classes.

Abstract

The study objectives are to 1) characterize the state of laboratory carrying capacity, 2) analyze laboratory utilization, and 3) identify the challenges and solutions to laboratory carrying capacity utilization. The descriptive qualitative research method was used. According to the research findings, the carrying capacity of laboratories in MAN A was in a moderate category with an average of 56%, MAN B was in a moderate category with an average of 58,5%, and MAN C was in a high category with an average of 65%. The overall carrying capacity of laboratories in MAN Cirebon was 59,8%. The use of laboratories to enhance biology learning has yet to be well implemented. The challenges in utilizing laboratory carrying capacity include inadequate facilities and infrastructure and ineffective management. The problem can be solved by submitting budget proposals to the principal and the school committee and requesting laboratory development funding support from the appropriate parties.ABSTRAK: Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu: 1) mendeskripsikan kondisi daya dukung laboratorium; 2) menganalisis pemanfaatan laboratorium; dan 3) mendeskripsikan kendala dan solusi yang dihadapi dalam pemanfaatan daya dukung laboratorium.
