Abstract

Quality education is an important foundation for the progress of a society. However, the main challenge in the education system is to provide learning that is in accordance with the needs, interests, and potential of individual students. To overcome this, an inclusive learning approach is implemented, known as "Differentiated Learning". This learning emphasizes the recognition of diversity among students and efforts to adjust teaching methods to suit their needs. In addition, innovation in the use of learning models by teachers is important to create a pleasant learning climate and stimulate students to be more successful. The Community Partnership Program (PKM) aims to increase awareness of the Education community, especially teachers, of the importance of Differentiated Learning in improving the quality of education. Through a series of activities such as workshops on the preparation of tools and the implementation of Differentiated Learning in several schools as a method applied in this PKM to achieve significant results. The outcomes obtained include an increase in teacher understanding of the concept of Differentiated Learning, an increase in teacher competence in designing learning that suits student needs, and an increase in academic achievement and student welfare. With increasing teacher competence in preparing innovative and student-centered learning, it can have a positive and sustainable impact in creating an inclusive and diversity-oriented educational environment.

Abstract

Catfish (Pangasius sp.) is a freshwater fish commodity that is widely cultivated in the Indonesian fisheries sector. The aim of this research was to determine the effect of fortification of liquid probiotics bioprisma and biogan on the protein and fat of catfish meat in the biofloc aquaponics technology. The catfish used in this study was 7-8 cm in size. The research was carried out using a completely randomized design (CRD) method with 3 treatments and 3 replications, the treatments were as follows: P0 = without addition of probiotics, P1 = addition of bioprisma probiotics 0.15 mL/l,5 L of water, P2 = addition of biogan probiotics 0,15 mL/l,5 L of water. The data obtained were then processed and calculated using ANOVA at a 95% confidence interval if a significant effect was found, then continued with Duncan's further test. This study indicates that the addition of probiotic to catfish culture media can affect body protein, body fat, and water quality environmental condition (ammonia, nitrite, nitrate, DO) of catfish. The addition of probiotics in the P1 (addition of bioprisma probiotics 0,15 mL/l ,5 L of water) gave the best effect in increasing the growth of  catfish, 18,70% body protein and 8,73% body fat. The integration of biofloc with aquaponics technologies can eliminate geographical limitations and accelerate the urbanization of aquaculture.

Abstract

Strawberries are herbaceous plants originating from sub-tropical regions. In Indonesia, which is a tropical climate, Strawberries can adapt well to the highlands of more than 1000 meters above sea level. At present, not much is known about strawberry varieties that are able to adapt to the plains below 1000 masl, so it is necessary to do research to find strawberry varieties that are able to adapt to the plains below 1000 masl. This research was conducted on agricultural land at an altitude of 900 masl in the Ngesrepbalong Village area, Limbangan District, Kendal Regency from September to October 2022. The research design used was a Completely Randomized Design with different types of shading. The treatment used is shading in the form of 50% paranet and 70% paranet. Data will be analyzed statistically with ANOVA and descriptive qualitative analysis. The results showed that the four strawberry varieties were able to adapt to an altitude of 900 meters above sea level with 50-70% paranet shade.

Abstract

Digitalization transformation in learning refers to the use of information and communication technology to improve the learning and teaching process. In the digital era, teaching materials can be accessed in electronic form. One of the electronic teaching materials that can be used is e-catalog, which is an electronic-based catalog innovation, which is easier to learn anytime and anywhere, cheap and easy to share. However, teaching materials used in learning biology in high school are mostly textbooks that have not been digitized. Various environmental problems that currently arise are not entirely derived from the development of the industrial and technological sectors, but the weak level of human literacy, including attitudes and behaviors towards the environment. This causes the relationship between humans and the environment to be less dynamic. Good environmental education can help raise public awareness about the importance of protecting the environment. Education for Sustainable Development (ESD) is considered necessary to be integrated into the curriculum content and implemented into learning. The purpose of this study is to determine the implementation and effectiveness of ESD-oriented e-catalog-based learning digitalization transformation on the concept of environmental change can improve student learning outcomes. This research method uses a Research and Development (R&D) approach, adapting the ADDIE development model. The ESD-oriented e-catalog on the concept of environmental change has a validity value of 96.40% with a very valid category. The practicality value is 94.56% with a very practical category. The effectiveness value of the N-Gain score for cognitive learning outcomes is 75.12% with a fairly effective category. This ESD-oriented e-catalog can be implemented by being used as a comparison and reference material in developing innovative teaching materials to prepare students for the 21st century.

Abstract

The contribution of Saccharomyces cerevisiae is expected to accelerate the fermentation process and enhance the microbial population involved in eco-enzyme production. This study aimed to analyze the potential role of S.cerevisiae in improving eco-enzyme production. A true experimental method was employed using a completely randomized design with four treatments and three replications. The results, based on the average matrix similarity test using the Wilks’ Lambda Test, showed that the significance values for pH, DO, BOD, nitrite, and nitrate were < 0.05. Therefore, H0 was rejected, indicating that varying doses of S.cerevisiae had a significant effect. Furthermore, significant differences were observed among the treatments for each dependent variable. In conclusion, S.cerevisiae contributes to enhancing the overall quality of eco-enzymes by facilitating fermentation and accelerating the decomposition of organic matter.

Abstract

This study aims to investigate how various concentrations of rice-washed water influence the growth of Dendrobium sp. in the post-acclimatization phase. A Completely Randomized Design (CRD) with one factor and four treatments was used: P0 (0% rice-washed water), P1 (30% rice-washed water), P2 (40% rice-washed water), and P3 (50% rice-washed water). The statistical analysis was conducted using a One-Way ANOVA at a 5% level. If significant differences were found, further analysis was performed using Duncan's Multiple Range Test. The results of data analysis revealed that (1) There were no significant differences in plant height and root length of Dendrobium orchids across the treatments during the post-acclimatization phase; (2) Treatments P1 to P3 did not yield optimal results in terms of plant height, as these concentrations were not suitable for supporting the height growth of Dendrobium orchids in the post-acclimatization phase; (3) The P2 concentration resulted in the longest root growth at 2.39 cm, while the shortest root length was observed in the P0 concentration. Thus, although the different concentrations of rice washing water did not produce statistically significant differences, the P2 concentration showed potential for promoting root growth in Dendrobium orchids during the post-acclimatization phase.
