Abstract

Problem-based learning (PBL) aims to enhance students' engagement, creativity, and technological proficiency by offering them autonomous learning experiences. The comprehensive approach to PBL entails acquiring knowledge through collaborative project work and using real-life experiences. This method has demonstrated its ability to foster both academic and soft skills. The study aims to examine the role of a scientific-based problem-based learning model (PBL) in improving the higher-order thinking skills (HOTS) of students in vocational high schools. The study employed a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental method, with a total of 56 students in both experimental and control classes. The data was analyzed using the t-test and the n-gain test. The results of the study show that (1) the scientifically based problem-based learning model is effective in improving higher-order thinking skills in vocational high school students; (2) the knowledge transfer indicators in experimental classes have the highest scores, critical thinking indicators in medium categories, and problem-solving indicators in medium categories. In conclusion, PBL greatly contributed to improving students' 21st-century skills.

Abstract

Pengembangan media pembelajaran menjadi solusi inovatif untuk meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan sekaligus keterlibatan peserta didik dalam proses belajar. Salah satu media berbasis animasi adalah Powtoon. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan media pembelajaran berbasis video animasi Powtoon untuk materi ekonomi tentang pasar dan aktivitas ekonomi di SMA Negeri 6 Malang. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode pengembangan menggunakan model ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation), penelitian mencakup analisis kebutuhan, perancangan, pengembangan, implementasi, dan evaluasi. Hasil penelitian yaitu validasi media oleh ahli menunjukkan hasil baik pada aspek materi, bahasa, dan media, dapat dikatakan layak meski ada ruang perbaikan. Uji keefektifan menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan pada nilai siswa dari rata-rata pre-test ke post-test dengan tingkat efektivitas sangat tinggi. Media Powtoon terbukti layak serta dapat meningkatkan minat, motivasi, dan pemahaman siswa melalui penyajian visual yang menarik dan interaktif. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa video animasi merupakan media pembelajaran yang relevan dan efektif dalam mendukung pengalaman belajar yang menyenangkan dan bermakna, sejalan dengan penerapan Kurikulum Merdeka untuk pendidikan yang berkualitas.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to examine and analyze the Effect of Production Costs, Operational Costs, Capital Structure, and Liquidity on Profitability. 18 (eighteen) food and beverage sub sector manufacturing companies listed on the IDX became the population in this study, with 11 companies as samples. The sampling technique uses puposive sampling method. The data used are secondary data in the form of financial statements and annual food and beverage companies for the 2014-2017 period which can be accessed through www.idx.co.id. This study uses multiple linear regression analysis techniques, which previously tested classical assumptions and hypothesis testing using simultaneous tests (F test), partial tests (t test), and the coefficient of determination (R Square). The results of this study indicate that Production Costs, Operational Costs, Capital Structure, and Liquidity simultaneously affect Profitability. And partially only Operating Costs that affect Profitability, while Production Costs, Capital Structure, and Liquidity do not affect partially Profitability.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji dan menjelaskan pengaruh Pengawasan Keuangan dan Penyajian Laporan Keuangan terhadap Kinerja Pemerintah Berkonsep Value For Money Kota Malang. Model analisis data yang digunakan yaitu regresi linear berganda. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan metode purposive sampling yaitu pengambilan sampel yang didasarkan atas kriteria tertentu untuk dijadikan responden dalam penelitian ini. Pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan kuesioner yang dibagikan kepada pegawai Badan Pengelola Keuangan dan Aset Daerah yang berjumlah 46 kuesioner atau (92%). Pengujian asumsi klasik meliputi uji multikolinearitas, uji heteroskedastisitas, uji autokorelasi dan uji normalitas. Pengujian hipotesis menggunakan uji F dan uji t. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian analisis data dengan bantuan SPSS 16.00 menunjukkan bahwa 1) Terdapat pengaruh secara signifikan antara Pengawasan Keuangan dan Penyajian Laporan Keuangan terhadap Kinerja Pemerintah Berkonsep Value For Money. 2) Terdapat pengaruh yang positif dan signifikan antara Pengawasan Keuangan terhadap Kinerja Pemerintah berkonsep Value For Money. 3) Terdapat Pengaruh yang positif dan signifikan antara Penyajian Laporan Keuangan terhadap kinerja pemerintah berkonsep value for money.

Abstract

Tujuan atas penelitian ini yakni menjelaskan serta menganalisis bagaimana pengaruh kepemilikan manajerial, kepemilikan institusional, profitabilitas dan manajemen laba terhadap kualitas laba. Jenis penelitian yakni digunakan data kuantitatif. Populasi yang digunakan pada penelitian ini ialah perusahaan manufaktur sektor industri barang konsumsi yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia periode 2017-2019. Sampel yang digunakan ialah 20 perusahaan dengan periode pengamatan selama 3 tahun. Motode dalam penentuan sampel yakni digunakannya motode purposive sampling. Analisis pengelolaan data yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah regresi linear berganda menggunakan spss versi 22. Hasil analisis telah memberikan simpulan yakni kepemilikan menejerial, kepemilikan institusional, profitabilitas dan manajemen laba secara simultan mempengaruhi kualitas laba. kepemilikan manajerial tidak memengaruhi terhadap kualitas laba, kepemilikan institusional negativ mempengaruh kualitas laba, profitabilitas secara persial mempengaruh kualitas laba, menejemen laba secarah parsial berpengaruh terhadap kualitas laba.

Abstract

In recent years, scientific audit quality output has increased. However, there is still a scarcity of research that provides a comprehensive picture of the situation. This research aims to spot trends in audit quality research and scientific production, such as sources, authors, and documents, across time. A total of 1356 papers published between 1968 and 2024 were analyzed using bibliometric analysis. Audit quality is a query used in article titles to get metadata from the Scopus bibliographic database. The analysis was built using biblioMagika for frequency analysis, VOSviewer for data visualization, and Harzing's Publish or Perish for citation metrics and research. The findings reveal an increase in audit quality literature from 1968 to 2024, with a notable increase since 2013. Various studies on audit quality incorporating multi-author collaboration have been published in various languages, with 160 writers from 104 countries and 160 organizations. The United States, the United Kingdom, Australia, China, and Indonesia were the top contributors to this study, and these data may aid future research into the global overview of audit quality studies over time.

Abstract

Hasil belajar mata pelajaran ekonomi siswa kelas X di SMAN 6 Malang merupakan output dari interaksi berbagai faktor internal dan eksternal, seperti pemanfaatan media pembelajaran digital, kreativitas siswa, serta perhatian orang tua. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis pengaruh penggunaan Canva Infografis, kreativitas siswa, dan perhatian orang tua terhadap hasil belajar mata pelajaran ekonomi. Metode yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif dengan pendekatan asosiatif kausal. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi pembelajaran, kuesioner untuk mengukur kreativitas siswa dan perhatian orang tua, serta tes dan dokumentasi nilai hasil belajar. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Canva Infografis efektif membantu menyederhanakan konsep ekonomi yang abstrak sehingga meningkatkan minat dan keterlibatan siswa. Kreativitas siswa terbukti berperan dalam memahami dan memecahkan permasalahan ekonomi, sementara perhatian orang tua memberikan dukungan emosional dan kontrol belajar di rumah. Secara simultan, ketiga variabel tersebut berpengaruh signifikan terhadap peningkatan hasil belajar ekonomi. Integrasi media digital, kreativitas, dan dukungan keluarga menjadi faktor kunci keberhasilan pembelajaran ekonomi.

Abstract

This study was motivated by the importance of instilling values of tolerance and positive social behavior in elementary school students amid cultural diversity. The use of interactive visual learning media is necessary to help students in the concrete operational phase understand these abstract concepts. This study aims to examine the effect of the Light-Up Map Media on students' social behavior, both directly and through Diversity Awareness Score as a mediating variable. This study uses a quantitative approach. The research subjects are all 54 fifth-grade students at SDN Kedungdalem II. Data collection techniques use a Likert scale questionnaire. Data are analyzed using Partial Least Square (PLS)-based Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) techniques with the help of SmartPLS 4 software.The results show that the Light-Up Map Media does not have a significant direct effect on students' social behavior. However, this media has a significant effect on diversity awareness, which in turn affects students' social behavior. This proves that diversity awareness acts as a full mediator. These findings conclude that the effectiveness of learning media in changing students' social behavior is highly dependent on the success of the process of internalizing the value of diversity awareness.

Abstract

The low level of student engagement in Integrated Science (IPAS) learning at the elementary school level indicates the need for instructional approaches that foster deep cognitive and social involvement. This study aims to examine the effect of implementing a Deep Learning approach through the Problem-Based Learning (PBL) model on the learning engagement of fifth-grade students. This research employed a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental design, specifically a pretest–posttest nonequivalent control group design. The participants consisted of 27 students in the experimental group and 28 students in the control group. Data were collected using a student engagement observation sheet and analyzed using Analysis of Covariance (ANCOVA). The results revealed a significant difference in student engagement between the experimental and control groups after controlling for initial ability (p < 0.001), with an effect size of η² = 0.275, which falls into the large category. These findings indicate that the implementation of a Deep Learning approach through the PBL model is effective in enhancing elementary students’ engagement in IPAS learning. Therefore, this approach can serve as a relevant instructional strategy alternative in the implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum.
