Abstract

This research investigates the influence of operational discipline, job satisfaction, and professional competence on employee performance within the aviation sector, focusing specifically on Airport Operational Support Services. A quantitative causal-explanatory method was employed, using Structural Equation Modeling with the Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS) technique. The sampling process applied a stratified random method, involving 338 participants from different job levels. The findings reveal that both operational discipline and professional competence have a significant and positive impact on employee performance. Conversely, job satisfaction was found to have a negative effect. Theoretically, this study deepens the understanding of the interplay between these variables within high-risk work environments. On a practical level, it offers strategic insights for improving performance through targeted initiatives in discipline and competency enhancement. The study also provides a valuable contribution to the formulation of more comprehensive and contextually appropriate human resource management strategies in the airport support services industry.

Abstract

Human resources play an important role for an organization or company. Employees as one of the drivers in achieving organizational goals must of course have their needs met so that these employees can provide good reciprocity to the organization. Employees as the main resource for the organization must also be considered for their quality in order to create superior and competent human resources. This study aims to determine the level of work from home and work life balance on job performance in employees and to determine the effect of work from home, work life balance and job performance on PT Rata Indonesia employees. The method used in this research is quantitative and then to describe the research results using descriptive data analysis techniques. The data collection method in this study was by distributing questionnaires. This study uses a Likert scale with a total of 30 statements. The population in this study amounted to 129 employees and the sample in this study used non-probability sampling with saturated sampling technique which sampled the entire population. The findings suggest that companies should support employees in achieving a healthy work-life balance and provide adequate resources for effective work-from-home arrangements to maximize productivity. This study contributes to the understanding of how work arrangements and work-life balance affect employee performance, providing insights for future research and practical implications for human resource management.

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to analyze the influence of compensation and organizational culture on employee work motivation in multinational companies. Work motivation is a crucial factor that can drive optimal employee productivity and performance. This study employed a quantitative approach with the Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) analysis method. The sampling technique used the Lemeshow formula, with 115 respondents and data collection was conducted through the distribution of questionnaires with a Likert scale to predetermined respondents. The results show that compensation has a positive effect on work motivation, but this effect is at the threshold of significance. This means that adequate compensation can indeed boost work motivation, but its contribution is not dominant. Conversely, organizational culture has been shown to have a positive and significant influence on employee work motivation. A strong organizational culture, characterized by the implementation of positive values, norms, and collective behavior, can create a work environment that supports increased employee morale and motivation.

Abstract

Mekarmaju Village in Bandung Regency is a center for traditional blacksmithing, with hundreds of craftsmen producing various metal products with a turnover of nine billion rupiah per month. However, most of this expertise is still tacit and at risk of being lost as the generations change. The community service program on 15 July 2025 provided knowledge management training to 52 participants, including craftsmen, village officials, and residents involved in the blacksmithing ecosystem. During the 30-minute session, participants were introduced to the basic concepts of knowledge management, the difference between tacit and explicit knowledge, and the importance of systematic documentation. The assessment results showed an increase in participants' understanding, with the average score rising from 64.1 to 86.5 and the completion rate from 57% to 83%. The satisfaction evaluation recorded very positive responses (average 3.69 out of 4.00). The program also highlighted sustainability challenges, as younger generations tend to choose other professions, although some university graduates showed interest in contributing through design innovation and digital marketing. Practically, this training plays an important role in preserving traditional blacksmithing knowledge and supporting the continuity of local culture.
