Abstract

One of the most serious complications of ARI is pneumonia, where this disease causes sufferers to experience pain when breathing and limited oxygen intake. According to the World Health Organization (WHO), pneumonia is classified as a life-threatening disease due to the high mortality rate caused. To be able to diagnose this disease, patients usually undergo various medical examination methods, one of which is through chest radiography. However, the challenge in diagnosing pneumonia generally lies in the complexity and uncertainty in interpreting the results of these methods. Therefore, this study was conducted with the aim of building an image classification model based on the Chest radiography dataset from toddler patients using the ResNet-50 architecture, which is a variant of the Convolutional Neural Networks (CNN) algorithm. The combination of the two methods is applied to analyze and process images and obtain pattern recognition with high accuracy. The research methods used include the application of data augmentation, CNN architecture design, model training, and performance evaluation. The evaluation results show that the model has quite good performance with an accuracy of 85%, which indicates the model's ability to classify images with a fairly high level of accuracy, and has the potential to help the pneumonia diagnosis process more efficiently and accurately.

Abstract

The recommendation system has been implemented in digital marketing used in marketing products and services. The recommendation system is used to provide offers of goods and services in accordance with customer habits and interests in the proposed products and services, but in practice the right product offering for customers leads to the idea of developing a product recommendation system. Purchase data obtained from customers can be used to analyze customer needs and product preferences. In the recommendation system, Collaborative Filtering is one of the most commonly used algorithms. The purpose of this study is to find out how accurate the recommendation system is based on the purchase of similar goods between consumers using User-based Collaborative Filtering. Based on the results of the study, User-based Collaborative Filtering using Cosine Similarity calculations can be applied and produce 10 product recommendations with an RMSE value of 0.9.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk menganalisis efektivitas penyelesaian proyek pengaspalan jalan milik PT Kopjasa Keahlian Teknosa oleh CV Dinar Lestari di Kecamatan Rancabali Kabupaten Bandung. Latar belakang penelitian ini adalah berdasarkan masalah dominan yang diidentifikasi meliputi kesenjangan antara jadwal rencana dan realita lapangan, tumpang tindih pekerjaan, serta ketidaksesuaian hasil akhir proyek dengan standar kualitas yang ditetapkan. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menilai efektivitas proyek berdasarkan ketiga faktor tersebut serta mengidentifikasi hambatan dan upaya untuk mengatasinya. Penelitian ini menggunakan teori efektivitas yang dikemukakan oleh Syarif dalam Siagian. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode kualitatif dengan jenis studi kasus. Informan penelitian ditentukan secara purposive, mencakup perwakilan dari PT Kopjasa, CV Dinar Lestari, pemerintah kecamatan, perangkat desa, dan masyarakat setempat. Teknik pengumpulan data meliputi observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Data dianalisis secara deskriptif kualitatif. Temuan dominan dari penelitian ini adalah ketidakpastian cuaca sering menghambat progres proyek dan berdampak negatif pada kualitas jalan yang dihasilkan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa proyek ini efektif dari segi waktu, jumlah hasil, dan mutu pekerjaan, meskipun terdapat hambatan seperti ketidakpastian cuaca dan keterbatasan peralatan. Upaya yang dilakukan untuk mengatasi hambatan ini termasuk pengaturan jadwal yang fleksibel dan peningkatan koordinasi antar pihak. Kesimpulan penelitian ini menegaskan pentingnya perencanaan yang matang dan koordinasi yang efektif dalam menyelesaikan proyek infrastruktur. Saran yang diajukan mencakup penelitian lebih lanjut tentang manajemen proyek dan kebijakan pemerintah untuk mendukung proyek konstruksi.

Abstract

This paper is based on the results of a study entitled “Study of the Influence of Paramadina Life Value Lecture (NHP) on Student Character and Behavior”. The study was driven by concerns about rising intolerance and radicalism as well as counterproductive tensions between Islam and nationality among young people and students. This condition of course has the potential to threaten the disintegration of people and the nation in general. From the results of descriptive statistical analysis shows that there is a strong correlation and significant influence between NHP lecture learning and the perception and attitude of students towards Islamic and Indonesian values. This research program is designed by conducting training and workshops for a number of students who have strategic and important in the formation of understanding and moderate religious attitudes. Dissemination of the idea of religious moderation is carried out, among others, through training and development of Islamic values that are one breath with national values (Indonesianness) and socialization of moderate religious understanding is one of the long-term deradicalization strategies at the upstream level.

Abstract

Public speaking merupakan aspek penting dalam berkomunikasi khususnya untuk para santri di Pesantren Tasdiqul Qur’an. Pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk memberikan pemahaman kemampuan dari public speaking pada para santri-santri yang berada di lingkungan Pesantren Tasdiqul Qur’an. Pemahaman terkait public speaking bisa membantu para santri untuk lebih berani dalam menyampaikan pendapat baik dalam bidang akademis maupun non akademis di lingkungan pesantren. Metode yang digunakan yakni pendampingan, pelatihan dan fasilitasi pada para santri. Hasil kegiataan pengabdian ini diharapkan para santri pesantren Tasdiqul Qur’an mampu mamahami dan menguasi public speaking dengan baik karena kegiatan ini sebagai motivasi bagi para santri agar tidak lost motivation dan meningkatkan kemampuan berkomunikasi di depan khalayak umum dan khususnya di lingkungan pesantren itu sendiri.

Abstract

Abstract: Purpose- This study aims to reinterpret Ali ‘Abd al-Raziq’s thoughts on the separation of religion and politics within the framework of Indonesian democracy, offering fresh perspectives on the relationship between religion and the state in a pluralistic society. Design/methods/approach- The research adopts a library research method using a descriptive qualitative approach, analyzing primary texts by al-Raziq alongside relevant literature on Indonesian democratic principles and political theology. Findings- The study finds that al-Raziq’s arguments—particularly his rejection of the caliphate as a religious obligation and his emphasis on politics as a human construct—resonate with Indonesia’s foundational philosophy of Pancasila. His thought affirms the necessity of a state independent from religious authority while upholding the moral value of religion in social life. Research Implications- This reinterpretation highlights the continuing relevance of al-Raziq’s secular political theology in contemporary Muslim-majority democracies. It provides conceptual support for democratic systems that separate state governance from religious institutions while maintaining space for ethical-religious influence in public discourse.

Abstract

This article will explore Asghar Ali Engineer’s ideas on the significance of religious harmony and examine how this concept is manifested through his formulated theology of peace. The research method used in this study is literature review with a philosophical approach using hermeneutic and text analysis techniques through verstehen. The results of this study explain that the theology of peace sees religion as a source of values and spirit that encourage humans to live together in peace and harmony. Asghar Ali Engineer suggests that Muslims prioritize the principles of peace, such as the understanding of Islam, the meaning of jihād, movement, and the application of justice. In addition, according to Asghar Ali’s perspective, Muslims must cultivate values that can realize religious harmony and peace, such as anti-violence, justice, truth, tolerance, love, and compassion.

Abstract

The understanding of religious texts in contemporary Muslim communities is often dominated by a rigid literal approach that overlooks the inner dimensions and social contexts. In facing the challenges of modernity, pluralism, and the complexities of urban life, an alternative interpretation that is more inclusive and flexible is needed. Ibn Arabi, a Sufi and Islamic philosopher, offers profound hermeneutics through the power of imagination, symbolism, ‘irfani epistemology, and his mystical system of knowledge. This study aims to explore Ibn Arabi’s hermeneutical concepts as an alternative religious interpretation relevant to contemporary urban Muslim communities. The method employed is a literature review using a hermeneutical approach, involving an in-depth analysis of Ibn Arabi’s major works, such as al-Futuhat al-Makiyyah and Fusus al-Hikam, along with modern interpretations of his intellectual legacy. The findings reveal that Ibn Arabi’s hermeneutics provide a strong foundation for understanding religious texts more holistically, integrating the inner and outer dimensions through methods such as ta’wil, kashf, and mushahadah. Ibn Arabi’s approach is relevant for urban communities as it bridges tradition and modernity, fostering a spiritual, inclusive, and contextual understanding of religion. His intellectual legacy not only addresses the challenges of modern religious interpretation but also opens up spaces for dialogue between Islamic traditions and contemporary societal needs.

Abstract

Society's stigma regarding the role of women in the erroneous interpretation of religious texts makes women a creature that occupies the second position after men. The discriminatory interpretation of religious texts has limited the scope for women. One movement that pays attention to women's issues is the Indonesian Women's Ulema Congress (KUPI). KUPI formulates issues such as sexual violence, child marriage, and environmental damage. This research examines two issues, namely fighting sexual violence and child marriage with an analytical study of the movement of the Indonesian Women's Ulama Congress. This type of qualitative research uses descriptive-analytical and descriptive-interpretive methods, describing and explaining the consequences of sexual violence and child marriage. The results of this study indicate that sexual violence and child marriage are not at all good for anyone, instead they are bad. Therefore, these two things must receive serious attention from various parties in prevention efforts.

Abstract

Character education has become increasingly crucial in facing the complexity of challenges in the 21st century. Education serves as one of the fundamental pillars in shaping individual character and personality. Amidst the growing religious and cultural pluralism, values-based education becomes more relevant in cultivating a generation with global awareness and inclusive attitudes. The purpose of this research is to delve into the implementation of Living Values Education (LVE) approach that integrates character values with the principles of religious moderationtn the Madania educational environment. This study uses a type of qualitative research method with a case study approach. The findings indicate that Madania School adopts the Living Values Education (LVE) approach by integrating an understanding of religious moderation to create an inclusive, multicultural learning environment that focuses on character development. This approach engages educators as role models in applying character values and encourages students to internalize these values through various daily activities and interactions.
