Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi oleh kesadaran masyarkat dalam menjaga kebersihan lingkungan. Pengabdian masyarkat ini telah dilaksanakan pada bulan Mei hingga Agustus 2022 pada masyarkat RW 021 (Perumahan Regata Batam Center, Oriana Batam Center dan The Monde Residence) yang berada dikawasan Batam Center. Pengabdian ini dilakukan dengan tujuan untuk meningkatkan kesadaran masyarakat terhadap kebersihan lingkungan sekitar mereka dan hal tersebut juga dilakukan agar terhindar dari berbagai macam penyakit. Pengabdian ini dilakukan dalam bentuk penyuluhan akan pentingnya kebersihan lingkungan, serta aksi seminar dan pemberian video edukasi untuk meningkatkan kesadaran masyarakat terhadap lingkungan sekitar. Setelah pengabdian kepada masyarakat selesai, tingkat kepedulian dan kesadaran sebagian masyarakat terhadap lingkungan sekitar mulai mengalami peningkatan. Hal ini dapat dilihat dari lapangan perumahan menjadi lebih bersih dari sampah plastik

Abstract

Kegiatan Pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini dilatarbelakangi oleh perkembangan zaman yang menyebabkan kasus bullying dan hate speech yang menyebar dimana saja melalui virtual atau secara langsung sehingga munculnya dampak buruk bagi korban. Kasus bullying dan hate speech banyak terjadi di lingkungan sekolah. Pada saat ini kegiatan mengambil tempat di SMA Negeri 3 Batam yang merupakan salah satu sekolah favorit di Kota Batam. Hasil observasi, wawancara, dan kuesioner terhadap murid SMAN 3 Batam terdapat kasus kecil bullying dan hate speech yang kurang dianggap serius bagi murid. Kondisi ini diperburuk dengan pemikiran murid yang kurang mementingkan perasaan, dampak, dan pemahaman mengenai bullying dan hate speech. Universitas Internasional Batam melakukan kegiatan Society Empowerment Program 2022 melalui tim yang terdiri dari dosen dan mahsiswa melaksanakan kegiatan antisipasi bullying dan hate speech pada SMAN 3 Batam. Metode pelaksanaan kegiatan dilakukan dengan pembagian video edukasi melalui media sosial, kegiatan kedua berupa pembagian buku saku yang berisi materi bullying dan hate speech, penjelasan materi, contoh kasus nyata dalam kehidupan, dan diakhiri dengan kuis untuk mengukur pemahaman murid mengenai nilai penting bullying dan hate speech. Tujuan pelaksanaan kegiatan agar murid menjadi lebih paham faktor penyebab, dampak serius yang dialami oleh korban serta membuka pemikiran murid menjadi lebih luas. Hasil dari implementasi kegiatan menunjukkan 80% murid menjadi lebih tahu mengenai tindakan yang termasuk bullying dan hate speech serta lebih berhati-hati dalam melakukan tindakan.

Abstract

B&W Collection is one of the MSMEs in Batam City that sells fashion products such as bags, wallets, and watches. Based on the results of observations and interviews with B&W Collection business owners, there are several problems faced by B&W Collection, namely in terms of brand awareness and marketing. The B&W Collection counter does not have an identification sign so customers will have difficulty finding the store or may visit the wrong store. As a result of the absence of a store identity, dissemination of names is quite difficult and very low. The marketing strategy at B&W Collection is also still conventional because it only serves and offers customers who visit Plaza Aviari directly so that the customer coverage is not too broad. Therefore, in carrying out this practical work will implement a digital marketing strategy and build brand awareness at the B&W Collection. The project output consists of creating logos, banners, brochures, catalogs, product photography, registration for Google My Business and Maps accounts, social media accounts, creating e-marketing content, and promotions. The results of implementing the project outcomes were considered quite good. It had a positive impact on the B&W Collection which can be seen from the increase in sales in the last two months, online sales through social media, being able to reach a broader range of customers, and being increasingly recognized by the public.

Abstract

UMKM Epok-Epok Ana merupakan UMKM yang berada di Bengkong, Batam memiliki permasalahan yaitu kurang maksimalnya pengelolaan manajemen risiko dan penerapan digitalisasi untuk mengembangkan usaha dikarenakan pelanggan yang datang hanya yang tinggal di sekitar lokasi UMKM dan hanya tersedia pemesanan secara langsung saja. Pelaku UMKM tersebut belum memaksimalkan manajemen risiko dalam upaya antisipasi risiko usaha yang terjadi. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Fokus dalam penelitian adalah analisis hubungan dari fenomena yang diamati menggunakan logika ilmiah. Penerapan manajemen risiko pada pelaku usaha Epok-Epok Ana direkomendasikan menitikberatkan pada eliminasi. Hal ini merupakan rekomendasi yang sesuai berdasarkan kondisi dan situasi UMKM saat ini.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the factors that influence customer loyalty in the use of cosmetic products. Data were collected through the distribution of online questionnaires through Google Forms with 430 respondents. The population of this research is people in Batam City who have used cosmetic products from brands that have CSR such as The Body Shop, L'Oreal, Estee Lauder, Kiehl's, Garnier, Innisfree, Wardah, Emina, Somethinc, Avoskin, Sensatia Botanicals, and BLP Beauty. This study utilizes a sampling technique with non-probability sampling and purposive sampling. The collected data will be processed using the Partial Least Squares research method. The study results are that customer satisfaction, customer trust, perceived product quality, perceived service quality, perceived cost, corporate social responsibility, and customer engagement all influence customer behavior in terms of loyalty.

Abstract

 This research is based on the phenomenon of selling goods with live broadcasts on social media since the Covid-19 pandemic to know several factors that influence purchase intentions on live streaming shopping on the sale of used goods in Batam City. The study was conducted by collecting 330 samples obtained by distributing questionnaires to people who had watched live broadcasts of used clothes on social media. The data is processed using Smart PLS version 26. The results of this study indicate that Social Interaction does not affect Purchase Intention, followed by Social Interaction which affects Trust. Consumer involvement has a significant effect on trust, followed by perceived economic benefits which have a significant effect on trust, subjective norms and perceived prices have a significant effect on purchase intention. Meanwhile, Subjective Norm does not affect Purchase Intention. For the moderating effect, trust has a significant effect on purchase intention. Through this research, it is hoped that it can provide a view to the public that selling through live broadcasts is the best marketing system

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisa faktor yang dapat mempengaruhi purchase decision involment pakaian merk nasional melalui e-wom. Populasi yang menjadi target pada penelitian ini adalah masyarakat yang ada di Kota Batam yang menggunakan pakaian merek nasional The Executive, Erigo, Major Minor dan Elhaus. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian kausal komparatif (Causal-Comparative Research) atau biasa disebut juga dengan penelitian sebab akibat dengan teknik analisis statistic deskriptif. Sample yang digunakan pada penelitian ini yaitu sebanyak 350 responden yang didapatkan dari penyebaran kuesioner melalui google form. Teknik analisa data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu dengan menggunakan SEM PLS, perangkat lunak pengolahan data SmartPLS. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa Emotional Experience dan CSR berpengaruh negatif dan tidak signifikan terhadap e-WOM dan Purchase Decision Involment. Sementara untuk Service Quality, Customer Satisfaction, Customer Endorsement berpengaruh positif terhadap e-WOM dan Purchase Decision Involment.

Abstract

This article was written to design a social-based business idea project that creates organic fertilizer products from processed coffee grounds. Seeing the trend of increasing consumption of coffee drinks in various circles encourages business opportunities for coffee shop businesses, especially in Batam City. The waste generated by the coffee shop is coffee grounds from the brewing process which will be disposed of after the product extraction process. Coffee grounds are known to have benefits as plant fertilizer. The result of this business idea design is a product called PUBUK (Pupuk Powder Kopi). The research method applied in writing this article is a qualitative research method, the data used is in the form of descriptive and narrative which is processed into a narrative form, as well as the data analysis technique used in this study, namely inductive data analysis. The results of this research are that the PUBUK project has succeeded in creating organic fertilizer products. This project has fulfilled the three variables contained in the Project Management Triangle, namely time, cost, and scope to produce good quality products. The next stage that needs to be carried out in this project is sustainable marketing related to PUBUK products on social media.

Abstract

This activity the author did with the aim of increasing revenue and customer visits and increasing public understanding of the existence of these food stalls. Warung Makan Mak Oteh is located at Pasar Angkasa, Nagoya Blok CC No 1 Batam, Riau Islands. As for some of the obstacles faced by restaurants, namely locations that are less strategic and only rely on the community around the location of the food stalls, so that customer knowledge about the existence of the restaurant is still weak and there is also no social media. accounts for sale so that no marketing promotions are carried out at the food stalls. or Mak Oteh's advertisements to attract customers to come shopping even though the products served are delicious. The implementation of the activities will take place from the beginning of October to the end of November 2022. The author has compiled several work plans that will be carried out on the implementation of activities related to digital marketing, namely the implementation of promotions in digital form that will be implemented, are already running and can be used for long-term performance. The initial stage that the author will do is to investigate the problems that occur in the business, find solutions to existing problems, design a more efficient system for the business, implement a new system plan in the business and explain the results obtained when operating the system. The activities carried out by the author have resulted in digital promotions that adapt to the problems faced by entrepreneurs such as a less strategic location. By implementing digital marketing, such as running promotions through their own social media accounts, digital marketing through paid advertising, and setting up a Google account business for Google Maps. The implementation of this new promotion system has a positive impact and also contributes to sales.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to find out what factors among purchase risk, purchase benefit & purchase value is most influence Batam citizens in purchasing events that enhance skills. This study uses non-probability sampling with a purposive sampling method with a total of 256 respondents and manages to find out the relationship between purchase benefit , purchase risk & purchase value have positive influence to the purchase intention and purchase benefit influence Batam citizens on purchasing event the most.
