Abstract

Objective: Stroke is a condition that occurs when the blood supplay to a part of the brain is suddenly interrupted, because some brain cells die due to disruption of blood flow due to blockage or rupture of brain blood vessels. Death of brain tissue can lead to loss of fungtions controlled by that tissue. Stroke is the main cause of fungtional disorders, where 20% of patients who survive still require treatment at a health institution after 3 months and 15-30% of sufferers experience permanent disability. The introduction of risk factors for stroke is very important, beacause many patients have more than one risk factor and are sometomes ignored, so that the incidence of stroke cannot be avoided. Practical strategies in dealing with the burden of stroke should focus on prevention and treatment based on risk factors. This study is an observational analytic study with a cross-sectional design to determine the relationship between risk factors and the level of risk of stroke patients hospitalized at RSUD dr. Harjono S Ponorogo. This type of research is non-experimental research. This study was conducted in the stroke patient inpatient room.Methods:. The research design used (crosssectional), this sampling technique used consecutive sampling and tabulated data. The sample is 60 respondents. The research instrument uses medical records to view the respondents basic data and medical diagnosis, and the stroke risk scorecard to obtain the results of the assessment of stroke risk factors and the risk level of stroke patients. Results: The results of the study from 60 medical records of stroke patients, risk factors that were proven to have a significant relationship with the level of stroke risk were blood pressure, smoking history, cholesterol levels, history of diabetes. Meanwhile, based on the stroke risk scorecard, the risk level for stroke is mostly high risk. Conclusion: The risk factors that were shown to have a significant relationship with the level of stroke risk based on the results of the distribution table were blood pressure, smoking history, cholesterol levels, history of diabetes. Meanwhile, based on the Stroke Risk Scorecard, the level of stroke risk in stroke patients at Dr. Harjono S Ponorogo Hospital is mostly high risk.

Abstract

Cancer disease is a devastating disease that could change someone’s life and relationship drastically. Cancer have been seen as a disease that revolves around strong donation interest. By donating to certain organization or community, the cancer patient could get a help from them. Using social media is their strong method to communicate their purpose and agenda to reach the donation candidate or those who can help and expand the attention of cancer disease. In Indonesia, disease is strongly influenced by religious and mystical figure and myths, thus, their method still crossing each other with actual medical workers, it is why Kanker_Fighter account still also has some PR blunder in their Instagram account. These phenomenon serves as Therapeutic Communication interference for actual medical worker in the field. With the strong donation biased method, lack of research, and Therapeutic Communication interference, it could stagnate the cure for cancer patients.

Abstract

The exploration of collaborative research in healthcare is a dynamic and multifaceted endeavor, as evidenced by analysis of influential articles, citation patterns, and keyword frequencies. Davenport and Prusak's seminal work on knowledge management serves as a foundational foundation, emphasizing the critical role of effective knowledge utilization and sharing in collaborative healthcare research. This research explores linkages with other influential articles, including Scott's examination of social network analysis, Star and Griesemer's insights on institutional ecology, and Tranfield et al.'s methodology on evidence-based knowledge management. Further analysis extends to works on thematic analysis, inter-organizational collaboration, cancer genomics, and qualitative research methods, all of which contribute to a rich tapestry of collaborative healthcare research. Keyword analysis revealed thematic priorities, with a major focus on "Care" and "Experience", emphasizing the human dimension of healthcare. Challenges, technology and organizational aspects emerged as prominent themes, reflecting a holistic approach to collaborative exploration. The interplay between keywords such as "Dynamic", "Mechanisms", and "Performance" underscores the evolving nature of collaborative efforts and the need for strategic mechanisms to address challenges and improve performance. The analysis also highlights contemporary concerns, including the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, barriers to collaboration, and the intersection of mental health and social media.

Abstract

This study employs bibliometric analysis using VOSviewer to map the landscape of health promotion research from 2004 to 2014. By analyzing research publications in this field, we identify thematic clusters, research trends, and emerging opportunities for future investigations. Our analysis reveals several thematic clusters central to health promotion, including health education, empowerment, community engagement, and the role of healthcare professionals. A temporal analysis of the research trends indicates a shift in focus from basic educational and community engagement strategies to more specialized areas, with a notable increase in research on mental health towards the end of the period studied. The examination of less illuminated areas within the network visualization highlights underexplored topics such as the roles of community pharmacists and integrative reviews, suggesting them as potential rich fields for future research. The study underscores the evolution of health promotion over the decade and points to new directions for comprehensive health strategies, aiming to bridge research gaps and foster interdisciplinary collaboration.

Abstract

This research explores the dynamic interplay between education, income, access to health services, and the quality of life among the elderly in West Java. Utilizing a sample of 120 individuals, the study employs Structural Equation Modeling (SEM-PLS) to analyze the relationships between these key variables. The results reveal that education emerges as a robust predictor, exerting the strongest positive influence on the quality of life among the elderly. Income and access to health services also significantly contribute to well-being, highlighting the multifaceted nature of factors shaping the aging population's quality of life. The findings provide valuable insights for policymakers, practitioners, and researchers aiming to enhance the overall well-being of the elderly in the region.

Abstract

The dynamics of drug addiction prevention and treatment initiatives in East Java, Indonesia's metropolitan neighborhoods are examined in this study. The study uses structural equation modeling to examine the connections between economic circumstances, social support, health service accessibility, and efforts for drug misuse prevention and treatment, utilizing a sample of 140 people. Strong validity and reliability are demonstrated by the measurement methodology, confirming the effectiveness of the chosen indicators. The results of the structural model demonstrate complex relationships: social support emerges as a key component, although economic variables and health services show favorable links. The study's recommendations for multimodal interventions that tackle economic inequality, improve healthcare accessibility, and bolster community-based initiatives have consequences for both policy and practice. Despite its limitations, this study provides important new understandings of the intricate field of drug misuse intervention treatments and paves the way for more research.

Abstract

Public participation in health policy-making is a vital component for fostering equity, transparency, and inclusivity in health systems worldwide. This study presents a bibliometric analysis of scientific publications to explore the research landscape on public participation in health policy-making. Using data from Scopus and Web of Science, the analysis identified key themes, influential contributors, and emerging trends. The findings reveal a growing emphasis on patient-centered care, governance frameworks, community health interventions, and the role of data and digital technologies. Prominent themes include the inclusion of vulnerable populations, such as women, children, and individuals with disabilities, as well as the integration of public input during health crises like the COVID-19 pandemic. Despite progress, challenges such as power imbalances, tokenistic participation, and the digital divide persist. This study highlights the importance of institutional frameworks, investments in data infrastructure, and digital tools to enhance participatory practices. Recommendations for future research include examining the long-term impact of participation, addressing gaps in low- and middle-income countries, and exploring the intersection of public engagement and technology. By synthesizing existing knowledge, this study contributes to advancing theory and practice in participatory health policy-making.
