Abstract

Earthquake events are disasters that cannot be predicted and have the possibility of recurring. The earthquake that hit Cianjur Regency on November 22 2022 provided lessons in dealing with and evaluating affected areas and sectors so that going forward it would be able to reduce victims and damage. Cugenang District is one of the sub-districts affected by the earthquake, plus a fault zone or Cugenang Fault has been identified. One of the sectors affected is the education sector, especially elementary schools in their teaching and learning activities. This study aims to identify the distribution pattern of elementary schools as a trigger factor for evaluating locations with an earthquake risk index level. As for the evaluation, the Nearest Neighbor Analysis (NNA) method and overlay analysis were used so that a random distribution pattern was obtained in Elementary Schools that followed settlements, and Elementary Schools with high levels of damage were obtained in locations with high earthquake indexes so that they were used as basis for consideration of relocation. Abstract

Labuan Bajo merupakan satu dari lima Destinasi Super Prioritas (DSP). Salah satu program pengembangan DSP adlah pengembangan infrastruktur seperti bandara.

Abstract

Construction of the New Yogyakarta Kulon Progo International Airport (YIA) is one of the national development goals, especially in the aviation industry. A large Yogyakarta International Airport (YIA) construction project uses community-owned land. This research aims to determine and analyze the spatiotemporal characteristics of changes in land use in the new airport area of Yogyakarta International Airport based on Google Earth Imagery of Kulon Progo Regency in 2017, 2020, and 2023. Changes in land use at the new airport of Yogyakarta International Airport show that from 2017 to 2023, land use has changed rapidly. Changes in land use in residential areas were -189 houses, population was -756 people, vegetation was -19.73 ha, and open land was -282.59 Ha, reduced due to the construction of the New Yogyakarta International Airport with significant transformation. Abstract

Spatial multi-criteria analysis (SMCA) has been used by researchers to conduct research in geography. One of them is how to determine protected areas in an area, namely Serang City, Banten. This research aims to review what the determination of the coastal boundary distance variable looks like for the SMCA analysis process. The criteria were determined through a literature review, both in terms of applicable regulations and scientific articles. Based on the results of the review, it was concluded that the coastal boundary variable is measured from the shoreline towards the mainland by 100 - 300 meters. The minimum criterion value is 100 meters, while the criteria values of 200 meters and 300 meters can be adjusted according to the level of hazard risk. The area along the north coast of Serang City bordering the Java Sea is included in the protected area. The area must be preserved and development restricted.
