Abstract

The gold mining activities in general changing incomes. Increase in income will affect the lives of people both social and economic . This study aims to find , analyze and discuss : 1 ) social life ( social interaction , education and health ) , 2 ) Economic Life ( income and home state ) gold miners in Kanagarian  Bidar Alam Kecamatan Sangir Jujuan Kabupaten Solok Selatan . This research is a qualitative study using interviews with informants techniques that amount to as many as 19 gold miners in Kanagarian Bidar Alam Kecamatan Sangir Jujuan Kabupaten Solok Selatan.Research results showed : 1 ) social interaction both with each other and with the community of gold miners around the neighborhood are good , the childs education there are gold miners up to college and some are only finished elementary school due to lack of desire to continue to pursue higher education , and gold miners were able to finance his familys health , but tend to use traditional medicine first compared to the health center for treatment , 2 ) Income mining community can not be ascertained , sometimes can only get Rp 200,000 , - and can sometimes reach Rp 3.000.000 , - every time mining for gold , and the condition of the miners has improved , which is usually abandoned houses , now in general is permanent.

Abstract

This research aims to study, reveal, analyze and interpret data on soil characteristics (texture, permeability, organic matter, soil pH) on vacant land in Kenagarian Kamang Mudiak Kamang Magek Agam District. Based on field research and discussion of the results of hypothesis testing results are obtained as follows: the results obtained on the sample texture 1 7.60%, 51.81% of dust, clay loam texture class 40.59 dusty. Permeability of 0.14 cm / h rather low grade and grade ny 5.95 pH slightly acidic, organic matter is very high-class 18.050%, grained structure in the sample is a proper cultivation of the corn crop and good for growth because of its structure for processing or planted with maize crops. Results obtained on sample 2 7.72% the texture of sand, dust 65.76%, 26.52% clay, sandy clay class, permeability of 5.86 cm / h, pH 6.01 grade slightly sour and organic matter 19.48% very high grade soil crumb structure in this sample would make the cultivation of corn plants, but growth is not good for the corn crop. 3 samples obtained at 6.24% textured sand, dust 53.45%, 40.31% clay loam texture berliat berliat loam texture, permeability of 1.02 cm / hr bnya class rather low, slightly acid pH of 5.46 classes, materials 21.34% organic with very high grade blocky structure in this sample would make a corn crop cultivation but grow poorly because of the structure of the soil if the blocky blocky structure the corn crop cultivation is not good.

Abstract

This study aimed to obtain information , analyze and discuss data concerning ( 1 ) Participation of Farmers Group On Time Expended In Soil Conservation Effort ( Multiple Cropping , Mulch , Soil Treatment , Drainage ) in the village of Huta district Baringin Panyabungan West Mandailing Natal ( 2 ) Knowledge Farmers Group in Land Conservation Effort ( Multiple Cropping , Mulch , Soil Treatment , Drainage ) in the village of Huta Baringin Panyabungan West Mandailing Natal Western District. Type of research that the authors use is descriptive research . Data were collected through observation , interviews , documentation . Research informants were farmers group in the village of Huta district Baringin Panyabungan Mandailing Natal Western District .This type of research is descriptive . The study population is the entire group of farmers who were 21 groups . Samples were taken by purposive sampling technique to sample totaled 12 groups based groups : the group that has the highest number of members in the top 20 .Based on the analysis of the data it can be concluded as follows : ( 1 ) Expended time given by farmer groups in implementing soil conservation efforts ( Multiple Cropping , Mulch , Soil Treatment , Drainage ) in the village of Huta district Baringin Panyabungan Mandailing Natal West District has 77.2 % percentage this includes both categories , while 22.8 % are unfavorable . ( 2 ) knowledge possessed by farmers groups in implementing soil conservation activities ( Multiple Cropping , Mulch , Soil Treatment , Drainage ) in the village of Huta district Baringin West Panyabungan Mandailing Natal regency has this percentage of 73.3 % categorized as good , while 23.6 % are less good and 2.9 % in the category are not good .

Abstract

ABSTRACT This study is devoted to the Batang Suliti in Sungai Pagu Kabupaten Solok Selatan  order to determine the impact of land degradation that caused the river bank mining minerals group C. The method used is descriptive. Samples were taken by using purposive sampling technique that is based on the presence of mineral mining group C which caused damage along the flow Suliti land. The study concluded that: 1) The impact of mineral mining group C against the cliff slope conditions (slope, vegetation cover, soil texture, buffer erosion) along the side of Batang Suliti in Sungai Pagu Kabupaten Solok Selatan, river bank erosion on the riverbank due in part steep, vegetation cover changes of paddy land becomes scrub and mixed farms, changes in soil texture, especially for areas that do not have a concrete buffer buffer such as erosion, 2) Impact of mining excavation category C is the damage to the farmland where the sample damage occurred about 0,3 ha, on a sample of 2 to 0,9 ha and extensive damage to the samples 3 damage that occurs in 0,8 hectares along the Batang Suliti. This shows the narrowing of the agricultural land on the side of Batang Suliti flow due to mining activities excavation category C requires large areas. Additional damage occurred on land owned plantations and rice fields in the surrounding watershed communities, where gardens and fields turned into a place of mining and quarrying category C, 3) the impact of mining activities Class C excavation impact on groundwater conditions in the area along the river, the color of murky water, fishy smell and sour taste, whereas groundwater in the river Batang Suliti utilized as a source of public toilets by

Abstract

ABSTRACT This research aims to describe and analyze The Impact of Pasca Gold Mining for Damage of Land in Flow Around Batang Palangki in the Kenagarian Muaro Kecamatan Sijunjung Kabupaten Sijunjung, as seen from the extensive damage to land, land use changes, changes in the direction of flow of the river. This research is descriptive quantitative. The object of research is the area around the flow Batang Palangki be found in the Kenagarian Muaro Kecamatan Sijunjung Kabupaten Sijunjung. The sample in this research was taken by purposive sampling technique, the research sample consisted of three sample areas. Materials and tools used in this research is in the form of GPS, maps and gauges. Data analysis methods used in this research to calculate the area damage of land is by using the grid method. Results of the research include: (1) The land area is changing, 2.25 ha in sample I. 4.5 ha in sample II and III. (2) many ex-mining land into wasteland after being abandoned. (3) The effect of mining, cause the direction of the river flow moving and wide.

Abstract

ABSTRACKDanau Diatas located in  di Nagari Alahan Panjang Kecamatan Lembah Gumanti  sub district is a common water resource that has an important role for the people living around. Danau Diatas  water utilization by local people covering different aspects of life. sugh as cage fish farming, fishing area, water the fields, and household activities. The purpose of fish farming is to produce fish in larger quantities than the natural life. This study aimed to obtain information, the data, analyze, discuss and express about: (1) physical condition of the water Danau Diatas for carp fish farming cage systems which include temperature, and turbidity. (2) water chemistry conditions Danau Diatas for osphronemus gouramy fish farming cage systems which include pH, Dissolved Oxygen (DO), carbon dioxide (CO2) and ammonia (NH3). This study compares the results of the analysis are obtained directly from the field and laboratory with water quality standards for aquaculture. The samples were tested in the north, south, west, east and middle part of Danau Diatas. The results of research on the physical and chemical parameters deskiptif tabulation and analyzed and then compared with the water quality standards for aquaculture. The results of the study are as follows: (1) Water Quality Danau Diatas for osphronemus gouramy fish farming cage systems in physics, namely water temperature Danau Diatas meet the requirements for water temperature of all samples tested was in the range of 20 - 320C and water transparency also meet the requirements of 25-50 cm. (2) Water Quality Danau Diatas for fish farming chemically meet requirements that include pH, Dissolved Oxygen (DO) for all parts meet the requirements while carbon dioxide (CO2) and ammonia (NH3) for all the samples did not meet the requirements for the cultivation of carp.

ABSTRACT  The water represent very natural resources for human life. Therefore, water resource need to protect so that still able to in exploiting better by human being and also other life creature exist in world. Clean amount of water required progressively mount along with the increasing of resident growth rate and improvement of society activity in fulfilling requirement of its life.             This research is conducted to analyzed the quality of well water for the consumption of resident and it possibility to be developed to utilize to support amount of water required in Kenagarian Tanah Bakali Inderapura which is progresivelly mount. This research is descriptive research, to analyzed the Quality of Water Well for the consumption of Resident exist in Kenagarian  Tanah Bakali Inderapura quality ofly ( physical, chemical, and biological) quality the of physical quality of colour, temperature and aroma while chemical quality consist of BOD ( Biochemical Oxygen Demand) and COD ( Chemical Oxygen Demand) and to the quality of biology consist of bacterium E. Coli and bacterium of Coli Form. To             Result of research indicate that the quality of physical from well for the consumption of resident fulfill the quality of drinking water , quality of chemistry irrigate well for the consumption of resident for ineligible BOD is quality of drinking water, but from facet of COD fulfill standard which have been specified by PP ( Governmental Regulation) No 82 2001 and if seen from facet of is quality of biologis irrigate well for the consumption of ineligible resident is quality of drinking water which have been specified by Regulation Of Minister for Public Health of RI. Abstract

ABSTRACKThe river conservation is one the steps to solve the fish population. Although it was not revealed the significant result, however the steps was a multipurpose business, due to the anticipation of the fish population on the river was continuing restricted, also as media to maintain the various river organism in Indonesia. This step was as the way to improve Indonesian nutrients. For that reason, the river sources conservation of Pangius, sp on the river of Kampar, of course to be expected the population of the fish was possible to protect. This research aims to find out data, informations and discussion about the quality of the water of Kampar River was suitable to sanctuary system for Pangius, sp at the village Kuala Panduk of Teluk Meranti District in Pelalawan Regency. It consisted of physical and chemical condition analysis. The type of this research was descriptive study. The determination of sample in this research used sampling area technique (regional sample) taking randomly on the river of Kampar at the village Kuala Panduk. The result of research showed that: the quality of water of Kampar River at the village Kuala Panduk of Teluk Meranti District in Pelalawan Regency from physical parameter (temperature, turbidity, and debit) temperature on the sample 1 and 3 have fulfilled the required conditions, but for sample 2 did not have. To the turbidity for sample 1, 2 and 3 did not have fulfilled the required conditions. And to debit of water for sample 1, 2 and 3 have fulfilled the required conditions to the river sources conservation of Pangius, sp by using sanctuary system. While for the chemical parameter (pH, DO, CO2, NH3 and H2S). pH for the sample 1,2 and 3 have fulfilled the required conditions, DO for the sample 1 did not have, while to sample 2 and 3 have fulfilled the required conditions. To CO2 for the sample 1, 2 and 3 have fulfilled the required conditions. For NH3 and H2S at the sample 1, 2 and 3 did not have fulfilled the required conditions to the river sources conservation of Pangius, sp by using sanctuary system.

Abstract

ABSTRACT This study aimed to determine the rate of erosion Based On The cliffs of Land Use in the Upper River Flows Rod Part Lumpo District of South Coastal District IV Jurai.The method used in this research is descriptive method, sampling method in this study is purposive sampling method (Choosing Samples), where the unit of measurement is the headwaters of Batang Lumpo .Measured erosion rates based on land use, vegetation type, slope climbing, and distribution of rocks. The results showed that: (1) The rate of erosion in the study area based on land use categories have easily eroded, (2) The rate of erosion in the study area based on vegetation classified as a category that is easy to erosion, making it susceptible to erosion. Types of vegetation consisting of grass, paddy fields, coconut, areca nut, mango, banana, chocolate and durian. This situation makes the vegetation upstream Trunk Lumpo relatively easily eroded , ( 3 ) The rate of erosion in the study area belong to the category of rock slope based on the skew between 14-21 % . This slope causes the potential to moderate erosion on the upstream rod Lumpo and (4) The rate of erosion in the study area based distribution of rocks on the upstream rod Lumpo classified as moderate because it consists of gravel and sand.

Abstract

 ABSTRACT  This study aims to analyze the level of danger of the Kuantan River’s stream bank erosion in Padang Tarok Village Kamang Baru District Sijunjung Region based on the flow velocity, slope, soil texture, surface edge of river bank protection and rooting depth ratio. This research is descriptive quantitative data source is primary data collected directly in the field, while secondary data is a source of reference and analysis obtained from the library or related institution. The unit is an area of research that is still visible by river scour abandoned and is still on the river bank, which is controlled by the use of the land with the assumption that the use of the same land, the same slope class characteristics and rate of change in river flow due to river bank erosion will be different or the same. The data analysis is performed measurements and observations in the field and generate primary data into the data analysis on the basis of this study. The results of the study explained: (1) The flow rate varied research areas, not later than 0,94 m/sec and the fastest 0,77 m/sec, (2) Class slope slope areas classified as class II studies, including in the category class slopes and ramps III, including in the category somewhat steep, (3) soil texture in the study area consists of a smooth, somewhat rough and coarse, (4) Protection of the cliff face at the Kuantan River flows quite well so as to prevent erosion, but there is quite critical, because there is no protection of the cliff face that is not able to withstand the riverbank erosion, (5) the ratio of the depth of the root of the high cliffs on the research area of < 10 % and this condition means that the ratio of the depth of the roots of river bank erosion potential at the Kuantan river basin because it is not able to withstand riverbank erosion and ( 6 ) The level of danger Kuantan river bank erosion in Padang Tarok Village Kamang Baru District Sijunjung Region classified as moderate and high for the study sample.
