Abstract

Ecotourism is a form of sustainable tourism that has the potential to provide economic benefits to local communities while maintaining environmental sustainability. The presence of ecotourism destinations is expected to create business and employment opportunities that can improve the welfare of surrounding communities. This study aims to examine the impact of ecotourism on the income of local communities around the Wisata Alam Taman Rusa tourism destination in Aceh Besar Regency. A descriptive qualitative approach was employed, with data collected through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. The informants consisted of village officials, tourism managers, business owners, workers, and other relevant stakeholders selected purposively. Data were analyzed through data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing, supported by SWOT analysis to identify internal and external factors influencing tourism development. The findings indicate that the existence of Wisata Alam Taman Rusa has positively affected local community income through the creation of business opportunities and employment. In addition, tourism activities contribute to village revenue and support local economic development. Therefore, sustainable ecotourism management has significant potential to enhance the welfare of local communities.

Abstract

One of the reasons is that there are still street vendors (PKL) disrupting public order in the city of Banda Aceh due to the lack of maximum good communication by the Satpol PP towards street vendors. So the focus of this research is related to the communication patterns of the Banda Aceh City Government in its efforts to control street vendors , and street traders' perceptions of the Banda Aceh City Government's communication patterns in their efforts to control street vendors. This research data comes from two Satpol PP and three street vendors. Data collection by means of observation, interviews and documentation. The results of the research show that so far the communication patterns used by the Government in controlling street vendors in Banda Aceh City use vertical communication patterns and horizontal communication patterns. Meanwhile, street vendors' perceptions of the communication patterns used by the Banda Aceh City Government are classified as good or have a positive perception, because they carry out control using a persuasive approach.

Abstract

Inovasi dan kewirausahaan adalah dua konsep penting yang berperan dalam pembangunan ekonomi, sebagaimana dikemukakan oleh Joseph Schumpeter. Menurut Schumpeter, inovasi merupakan kekuatan penggerak utama dalam proses pembangunan ekonomi. Melalui inovasi, pelaku usaha menciptakan produk atau proses baru yang dapat mengubah struktur industri dan meningkatkan efisiensi ekonomi. Artikel ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji pandangan Schumpeter mengenai peran inovasi dan kewirausahaan serta implikasinya terhadap pembangunan ekonomi. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah tinjauan literatur dengan menganalisis teori dan kontribusi Schumpeter dalam bidang ekonomi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kewirausahaan sebagai agen perubahan memainkan peran kunci dalam mendorong kemajuan ekonomi, dan inovasi dianggap sebagai mekanisme “destruksi kreatif” yang memungkinkan munculnya pasar baru dan peningkatan kualitas hidup masyarakat.
